Super Eagles and Arsenal forward, Alexander Iwobi has made a debut in his first film role in the soon to be released ‘Inpadisu.’

The movie, now trending on social media, features Iwobi being pursued all over the place, apparently because of choices he made in the movie.

Iwobi also took to his Instagram page to confirm his role in the film alongside award-winning actress, Somkele Iyamah.

He shared the thriller and wrote: “Shot my Nollywood debut last month. A movie about choices coming soon.”

Mentally deranged man stabs monarch to death in Ekiti

A king in Ekiti State, Oba Gbadebo Ogunsakin, who is the Olowa of Odo Oro Ekiti in Ikole Local Government Area, has been killed in his palace by a man suspected to be mentally challenged.

The incident, according to a source in the town, occurred early on Monday when a man suspected to be mentally deranged entered the palace and murdered the monarch.

The monarch’s death led to a violent protest in the town as youths trooped out to show their grievances over the gory incident.

The man was said to have escaped into the bush after committing the crime and now being trailed by youths and security agencies.

The assailant is from the same royal family as the slain traditional ruler. He was earlier seen before, a council meeting, today, sitting on the throne and was chased away.

The monarch was stabbed by the assailant while he was attempting to enter his vehicle after the council meeting.

A Lady simply identified as Mrs. Darasimi Martins has been arrested for alleged Domestic abuse on her 16-year-old maid in Lagos State.

According to reports, Mrs. Martins was apprehended by police operatives attached to Olosan Division in Mushin, after the Child Protection Network (CPN) reported the case there.

According to TheNation, It was gathered that the incident which occurred on Monday at 16, Olomowewe Street, was one of several assaults the young girl had suffered from the the accused.

The suspect, it was gathered, sent the teenager to buy six eggs but the victim hid two on her return.

Angered by her action, the woman was said to have descended on the victim and poured hot water on her face, body.

Oyo state government releases statement listing the faults of Yinka Ayefele’s demolished music house

The Oyo state government has released a statement detailing all the faults of the demolished music house owned by gospel singer, Yinka Ayefele.

According to the statement released by the Special Adviser, Physical Planning and Development Control to the state governor, Abiola Ajimobi, Tpl Waheed Gbadamosi, the building occupied more land than was approved and also had a radio mast which was not in the approval issued.

The statement also adds that the building approval was issued for a proposed office complex and not a Radio station.

What You Should Know About The Partial Demolition At The Music House

1. 19th May, 2017, letters demanding for planning approval were sent to various institutions including UCH, Kola Daisi University, University of Ibadan and other institutions and organizations.

2. 14th June 2017, request for approval was sent to Music House and 22 other radio stations in Oyo State.

3. 18th August 2017, Reminder Letter was sent Music House and the letter was received by Adebisi Akinkunmi.

4. 25th August 2017 A letter was sent to National Broadcasting Commission titled Operation of Radio Stations without Physical Planning permit/Approval in Oyo State.

5. November 27, 2017: another letter was sent to NBC complaining about Physical Planning Law and Regulations by the Radio station owners, developers and operators.

6. December 4, 2017: NBC responded that the issue is outside its mandate

7. 14th June 2018: an approved building plan was submitted and BPP& DC discovered that it was meant to be an office complex and not a radio station.

8. June 25th 2018: A joint visit was consequently carried out by the officials of the Bureau with Music House officials.

9. We discovered the following:

a. The building size measured 29.7 metres by 21.6 metres on ground as against the 11.925metres by 10.20metres in the approved survey plan/building plan as submitted by Music House. (Meaning that used up more land than was approved)

b. The building has encroached into the sight distance of the Y junction along Lagelu Estate.

c. Kitchen/canteen is attached to the wall fence

d. Toilets also attached to the wall fence

e. Store is also attached to the wall fence
f. Power house attached to the wall fence
g. Mast erected is not in the plan
h. Spiral Staircase on site is not included in the plan
i. The basement of the plan has been converted to an event centre

*All these were not in the approved plan*

10. June 29, 2018: letter was sent to Music house to come and regularize its building plan.

11. Demolition notices were then sent when they failed to respond to the earlier request for the submission of AS – Built Plan for approval

Duncan Mighty has been featuring in many hit single of late.. But as it is, it looks like his image is about to be stained, as there are multiple reports of him battering his wife to a pulp.

The king of Port-Harcourt has been accused of allegedly beating up his wife, until she was badly bruised in the eye.

According to multiple reports, Duncan Mighty beat up his wife brutally.

The report by Onobello reads: “The woman in the picture is Vivien Nwakanma Mighty, she’s Duncan Mighty’s wife. He beat her up yesterday as if she wasn’t a human being like himself and threatened to kill her. I am sending you this to show the world, let them know who he really is, what he really is behind the social media. Fake life…”

According to social media reports, some classmates to his wife, Vivien, they claim this isn’t the first case of abuse by the singer.

The latest attack happened on Saturday, shortly after the singer finished a video shoot with Davido, in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, on Saturday.

They cause of the attack was not stated, but a close friend to Vivien, identified as Pella, claimed Duncan just flew down to Lagos, shortly after beating up his wife and hasn’t shown any sign of remorse.

He was said to have called Vivien, this morning, to tell her that she shouldn’t have shared the picture of her face with her friends, as it can dent his image.

Another social media user, Max collins, shared a photo of his wife’s battered face 19 hours ago, before this report.

It’s no news that Tiwa Savage featured Duncan Mighty on ‘Lova Lova’, a song that has been well-received since its release.

The ‘Ma Lo’ singer shared how the collaboration came to be and her adoration for the Port Harcourt-based artiste.

“We’ve had this record since January,” Savage said in an interview with SoundCity.

“Right after I dropped ‘Vibe’ it just seemed like the next to drop. And I could hear Duncan on it.

“Duncan Mighty and myself had spoken for a long time about working together.

“So he was in Lagos and I invited him around to the studio and played him a couple of records.

“And that one in particular, he was like ‘I love this record’.

Nigerian singer, Pepenazi took to his Instagram page to gush about fellow singer, Simi and her unique style of music.

Another woman slumps and dies during Service in same church in Delta State

One Mrs. Roona Ayomanor, the spouse of former Community Liaison Officer of an oil company in Sapele, Delta state, Mr. Churchill Ayomanor, reportedly slumped and died in same Delta church where a popular trader also died in.

An eyewitness who was present when the incident occurred at the Delta Church, shared that Mrs Ayomanor was rushed to a private clinic in town, where she died before medical aid could reach her.

The late woman’s husband who was shocked over the news, also slumped and has been admitted at a private clinic in Gana axis of the town.

A Facebook user, Elsie Halima who shared the report wrote;

Another woman identified Mrs. Roona Ayomanor, the wife of former Community Liaison Officer an oil company in Sapele, Delta state, Mr. Churchill Ayomanor, has died after she slumped in a Church, just barely a month after another woman, a popular trader, was said to have collapsed in the same church and died.

According to reports, a witness who claimed to be in the church when the accident happened, “Mrs Ayomanor was one of the early arrivals in church and she was full of life and had a smile for everyone. The service was on when she suddenly slumped.”

Mrs Ayomanor was said to have been rushed to a private clinic in town, where she gave up the ghost before medical attention could reach her.

Shocked at the news of his wife’s death, the husband was said to have slumped too “and has been admitted at a private clinic in the Gana axis of the town.

New photos circulating social media shows a man who was caught while he was purportedly having sex with his son.

According to unverified online reports, the man was caught as he was having sexual relations with his son, and this has reportedly been going on for a while.

The photos were shared by a Facebook user who lives in Asaba, Delta state – according to the user who shared it, he doesn’t see anything wrong in incest and he feels it should even be legalized in the country.

Shockingly, other users agree with him as they feel every and anyone are at liberty to be intimate with whoever they want to be intimate with.

The user wrote,

So a Father was having sex with his son and busybodies wouldn’t allow them do it in peace.

What’s wrong with incest? Is it not people’s choice and what two adults have agreed to do with their bodies?

A Nigerian plus-sized model with the name, Monalisa has taken to her Instagram page to call out another woman who body-shamed her over her stretch marks.

The said woman slid into Monalisa’s DM and didn’t portray any act of friendliness there as she told Monalisa of personal things she believed are wrong with her.

Displeased by this, Monalisa then took to her page to air her dissatisfaction over women trying to bring down other women.

She wrote,

So I woke up to this message and the first thing I think is, what is wrong with women? First of all, even if I had a child [which I don’t] so what? A few years back a comment like this would have probably had me crying and depressed but right now I am way passed there.
