A Member of the House of Representatives from Wase constituency, Honorable Ahmed Maje, says he knows he is putting his life in danger after he stated that he has evidence to prove that politicians are behind many of the killings in Nigeria.
While speaking on the floor of the house, the lawmaker who represents Wase constituency in Plateau state, said he has documents to prove that a certain politician recently imported container loads of arms and ammunition into the country and was not prevented by any of the agents at the borders, either land or sea.

Meanwhile, The Governor of Lagos State, Akinwunmi Ambode on Tuesday said that the visit of the President of France, Emmanuel Macron to Lagos will usher in a new dawn.
Ambode made the remark while speaking at the Afrika Shrine in Ikeja, on Tuesday night, at an event tagged “Celebrate African Culture”, which welcomed Macron to the state.
Ambode stated that the French Leader’s visit would signal the dawn of a new collaboration between France and Lagos State.
A suspected cultist is currently under the custody of the Police in Cross River State after they recovered two human skulls from him in the state.
The commissioner of police in the state, Hafiz Mohammed Inuwa, confirmed that the Anti-Cultism/kidnapping Squad of the command recovered the two human heads from Otu Edem Bassey, 30, in Calabar.
He said police operatives swooped on Bassey and his gang when they were preparing some rituals for their outing. He said Bassey was picked up at his No. 12b Etim Edem Street residence in Calabar, while others took to their heels.
He said charms and other items used for incantation were also recovered, adding that the suspect would soon be charged to court when investigation is completed.

They have no right because I have been using these skulls for my jobs since my father left it for me some eight years ago,” Bassey said.

Five teachers of the Polytechnic Academic Staff Secondary School in Birnin Kebbi, have been reportedly dissmissed for impregnating an SS3 student at the school.
Sources confirmed that the teachers were dismissed following the recommendation of a committee set up by the school to investigate the strange case. The pregnant student was also expelled from the school.
“The committee submitted a report on Monday and recommended that all the five teachers should be dismissed from service immediately,” a source was quoted to have said.
“The management have dismissed the teachers and the victim was also expelled from the school. When the committee interrogated each of the teachers, they confessed that they have been having sexual relationship with the victim separately, so, they were sacked immediately based on the committee’s recommendations.”
The affected teachers reportedly sent an appeal against their dismissal to the school’s management board.
In a statement by the Vice Principal of the school, Malam Oumar Woulandakoye confirmed the incident, adding that the affected teachers had filed an appeal against their dismissal.
‘I will advice that you should wait till the final report of the School Board, because I just received their memo now that they are going to sit on the matter tomorrow.’
A shocking trending video making the rounds online has called for caution among Nigerians to be very careful when employing house maids. Two boys who disguised perfectly as girls were recently apprehended by the authorities after they were discovered to be what they are not.
After they were arrested and taken to the station, the boys allegedly confessed that they pretended to be girls in order to be employed.
Imagine what they would have done to the female children left in their care.

According to reports on Twitter, Linda would have passed out tomorrow but her life was cut short by a trigger-happy police officer. Apparently, Linda hung out with friends last night to celebrate her passing out and left for home early this morning. On her way home, a police officer shot at the car she was in and she was hit.

The student, whose name and age was not disclosed, was also expelled from the school.

A Teenage girl simply identified as Peace was rushed to the hospital after feeling weak following a hot sex romp with her lover in Sapele area of Delta state.
It was revealed that the 17 year old girl started feeling weak and faint after returning from work on Monday evening before she was taken to the hospital for checkup.
According to Sapele Oghenek, a Delta based journalist who shared the news in pidgin English, the doctor after running some tests – revealed that excessive sex was the cause of the girl’s weakness before she was treated and discharged.
On getting home, the girl’s mother who reportedly attends Jehovah’s Witnesses beat her and told her to show her the boy responsible. The teenage girl took her mother to her boyfriend’s house but he had already fled after being alerted.
According to the report, some area boys revealed that the girl’s boyfriend had met them to help him with what to do because his girlfriend was laughing at him that he doesn’t know how to service her well and last long in bed and that her ex-boyfriend was better.
The young man was directed to meet somebody who mixed a concoction for him to drink and be “empowered”.
After drinking the concoction, he went into action with his girlfriend and almost wrecked havoc before she landed in the hospital.
The young man is nowhere to be found after taking off from his house.
A man identified as Henry Anaele has been remanded in prison by an Ebute Meta Chief Magistrates’ Court for beating his wife to death over N200 gift she collected from an individual.
The Chief Magistrate, O.O. Olatunji, said the accused should be remanded at the Ikoyi Prisons pending advice from the State Director of Public prosecutions (DPP).
Mr Anaele, 40, whose plea was not taken, had appeared on a charge for murder.
Earlier, a police inspector, Cousin Adams, told the court that the accused had committed the offence on June 15, at about 11.45 p.m, at No. 72, Goodness
Estate, Satellite Town, Lagos.
Mr Adams said that the accused had found out that someone gave his wife– Chinyere, 35, the sum of N200, which did not go down well with him. And upon questioning her, he claimed she could not give any tangible answer as to why she would accept the money from the giver.
“This angered the accused who beat up his wife to death for collecting the money. He made an attempt to escape but was apprehended by neigbours and then handed over to the police’’ he said.
The offence contravened Section 223 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015 which prescribes a death sentence for offenders.

A Nigerian man who works in a bank has given an outcry about the method used by scammers to commit financial fraud in the country.
The precautionary note shared by a banker on social media to caution the general public reads,
“I work as a Support Staff for a commercial bank, and I have witnessed this New Crime case twice this week alone!!!
This fraud usually occurs at the ATM galleries. An 18-year-old customer and another ‘rich’ adult customer were victims and now they have their BVN flagged for live and have cases to answer with the Police, and with their bank accounts on Post-No-Debit.
This is how it works;
1. You walk to an ATM and someone (fraudster) approaches you. The person may show you wads of cash and claim they have exceeded their withdrawal limit of 150k, and that they still need more cash. They then plead to make a money transfer into your own bank account so that you can withdraw it for them.
2. The TROUBLING thing in this seemingly harmless random act of kindness is that transfers are usually made from STOLEN PHONES or HACKED BANK ACCOUNTS!!!
3. The person who owns the bank account which the money transfer was initiated from would report to his bank, and the bank would send out a circular to the recipient’s bank with instructions to be carried out – which usually includes freezing your own account, BVN flagging, and on most times an order for your apprehension.
4. The next thing you would discover is that the next time you try to use your ATM card to withdraw, your transactions will be unsuccessful.
5. You then go to your bank and you get the news. You will thank your stars if there’s no MEMO to apprehend you and hand you over to the Police immediately – for something you surely don’t know about. You may be advised to quickly go get a Police Report.
The 18-year-old boy was sent to withdraw money from his bank account by his Mom. On getting to the ATM, he was held at gun point by the fraudsters and the money transfer was made, money withdrawn, and he was released. The money here was 40k. The boy was advised to report himself to the Police, and he should follow up with the bank.
The adult customer was approached respectfully by a fraudster brandishing loads of cash. So, he felt at ease and ‘helped’, not knowing he had been exposed for flagging. Here, the amount of money involved was 50k. The customer who has about 1 million naira in his bank account has now been undone because of 50k he knows nothing about. Now, there’s a MEMO to have the customer arrested anytime he steps into any of the bank branches.
Who knows if the stolen phones were acquired via One Chance armed robbers or the bank transfer details were supplied by Serial Hackers? This is a serious criminal issue.
Remember, if you have your BVN flagged, then you are so done with any legal financial dealings.
DO NOT HELP ANYBODY AT THE ATM!!! NOT EVEN AN OLD FRIEND, CHURCH MEMBER OR WHATSOEVER. SAY NO TO STRANGERS WHO APPROACH YOU FOR ANY TRANSFER FOR WITHDRAWAL AT THE ATM.
Imagine getting locked up over money you know nothing about other than helping someone to withdraw.”

Femi Adesina, special Assistant to President Buhari on Media and Publicity has asked Nigerians who are against this administration’s ranching and colony programmes for herdsmen to have a rethink.
He stressed that farmers are better off living with the ranches and colonies than dying through the persisting conflicts.
Adesina said this when he spoke on an AIT morning programme.
Responding to a question on ancestral attachments to land which would be very difficult to give up to herdsmen for ranching, Adesina said
“Ancestral attachment? You can only have ancestral attachment when you are alive. If you are talking about ancestral attachment, if you are dead, how does the attachment matter? The National Economic Council that recommended ranching didn’t just legislate it, there were recommendations. So, if your state genuinely does not have land for ranching, it is understandable. Not every state will have land for ranches. But where you have land and you can do something, please do for peace. What will the land be used for if those who own it are dead at the end of the day?”.
