Oladips tenders apology to Nigerians over ‘fake death’

Nigerian singer Oladipupo Olabode Oladimeji, better known as Oladips, has extended an apology to Nigerians for the recent death hoax pulled by his management.

In an interview with Naija FM, he begged for forgiveness, saying that there had been a misunderstanding and that he hadn’t staged his death or played a prank.

The rapper admitted that he was really ill, but he also said that his management had issued a false alarm and expressed regret for it.

Oladips, who revealed that he had been exploited by his management, pledged to employ experts to deal with these issues moving forward.

He said;

“To Nigerians and my core followers, I will never play with people’s emotions like that. It was never a prank. I was sick sick. I am really sorry for the confusion, the false alarm and everything. I take full responsibility.

Henceforth, I will make sure that I’m surrounded by professionals. Because I feel like that is where the problem started from. I have experienced a lot of things, including my manager siphoning my money, wishing me death.

So, it got to a point where I didn’t even have manager again. It was just me and my boys. Right now, I’m just trying to select the right people and make sure that they are professionals that know the right thing to do. No be person wey because he no hear from my mum, he feel like, ‘Ah! This guy don go [die].

If he [my manager] was a professional person he would not do such. That is why I said I take full responsibility. So, I’m really sorry. Make una forgive me abeg.”

“Men criticising me publicly were in my DM trying to sleep with me” – Jay Boogie (Video)

Nigerian crossdresser, Daniel Nsikan, better known as Jay Boogie, has shown that the guys who criticise him for supposedly lying about his health issue are generally the ones that are wooing him.

Recall that the model made headlines when his friend asked for money from the public, claiming he was experiencing acute renal damage as a result of a botched BBL.

In an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, he discussed the uproar it caused and expressed shock that the same Nigerian men who were denouncing him were also expressing interest in having sex with him.

The socialite claimed that he gets a lot of direct messages (DMs) from guys who begged him to sleep with them so they may try something new. According to Jay Boogie, he occasionally feels inclined to share screenshots of their conversations online.

He said:

“The funny thing is they will always want to come back and be like ‘I’ve not tried this stuff before, I want to try new things, you’re pretty, I’ve not done this with a she-m@le…’ and these are the same people that will go back and talk.

Sometimes whenever I see the DMs I want to screenshot it and post but they’re not worth it. Nigerians are in public discriminating against me but in my DMs asking to sleep with me. Nigeria is not for me, God forbid.”

When asked about the Nigerians who that supported him, the socialite said he was genuinely surprised that people donated.

He said, “I was surprised that Nigerians showed up for me honestly. We know that Nigerians, we have the good, bad and ugly. I never knew those good ones liked me by supporting me because there are some people who will never in their life support me because I’m a trans person. Even some come into my DM to tell me to repent first. Whenever I see all those comments, I just laugh.”

“Why invite me out on a date when we have to split bills” — Nigerian lady rages at white man

A UK-based Nigerian lady has taken to social media to voice her complaints with a Caucasian man who, despite being the one to take her out on a date, wanted her to share the cost.

She described in a video how difficult it is for Nigerian women to date men abroad as, in contrast to Nigerian men, they do not pamper their wives.

She recalled being on a date with an Oyinbo man, and at his suggestion, they had eaten at a Turkish restaurant.

She said she didn’t eat as much because she wasn’t even used to that kind of cuisine; however, the waiter approached them after they had finished their meal and asked if they would want to divide the cost.

At first, she took it to imply he wanted to divide the cost so he could pay with both cash and a card.

But the waiter returned with the bills, which he gave to each of them so they could pay for their food.

The Oyinbo guy didn’t hear from the Nigerian woman again after she clarified that she had to pay to avoid disgrace.
