Adorable new photos of Liam, the only surviving child of the late Nigerian singer, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, better known as Mohbad, have been shared on social media.

The photos were released in celebration of his birthday as the young champ turns eight months old today, December 12.

Recall that the late singer passed away on Liam’s 5-month birthday on September 12, under mysterious circumstances that are still being investigated.

Following his death, some netizens started calling for a DNA test to confirm the paternity of his son and whether he is the real father of the boy. However, to date, the test has not been conducted.

The photos have sparked a wave of comments on social media, with many celebrating the little boy on his special day while others pointed out the resemblance between Liam and his deceased father.

Nigerian lady reportedly passes away after she slumped at a church program

In a very tragic news update, a young Nigerian lady has reportedly passed away after attending a popular church program, Shiloh.

The X user, who shared the sad news online, revealed that the 18-year-old girl had attended the church program and suddenly became weak.

The friend who accompanied her took her to the church clinic where she was administered a pain relief drug and advised to return home.

However, her condition grew worse, and she was rushed to another hospital where she eventually passed away.

@lutherk007 initially tweeted,

“My friend slumped in Shiloh (Winners chapel) she was rushed to the church hospital, the hospital requested 1 million before they could attend to her. She died an hour later 😢😭 💔💔”

He, however, later clarified that she didn’t die in the church hospital but was taken to a different hospital, where they demanded N1 million before she would be admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Sadly, she didn’t make it.

Meanwhile, the X user is upset with the church hospital for not giving the deceased proper medical care, and instead choosing to administer pain relief drug.

A Nigerian man, identified as Ushie Benard, has penned an emotional tribute to his late fiancée who died a year ago.

The deceased young lady, Blessing Ebodo, passed away in a car accident on December 12, 2022, just two weeks to their wedding.

The tragic accident took place along the Calabar-Ikom Highway, claiming the life of the nurse who hailed from Bekwarra Local Government Area of Cross River State. Two other people in the car survived the accident with varying degrees of injuries.

The couple’s wedding was scheduled to take place on the 27th of December, 2022, but sadly, Ushie lost her to the cold hands of death.

Taking to Facebook on the first anniversary of her death, Ushie shared a heart-moving tribute to the love of his life.

In the caption, the actress wrote, ‘Team natural hair,’ accompanied by a cheeky face emoji.

Her post has ignited mixed reactions online, with some suggesting that she might be subtly throwing shade at Big Brother Naija star Khloe.

This speculation follows Khloe’s recent controversial statement about natural hair, which sparked nationwide outrage during the weekend.

Recall that Khloe had criticized women who wear their natural hair to events and warned that she would send out any woman who showed up at her party with natural hair.

Nigerians have praised actress Regina Daniels over her reaction after veteran actress Chinyere Wilfred asked her to leave her movie set.

According to the video, Regina Daniels had arrived late for a movie production which got the actress in charge, Chinyere Wilfred furious.

Immediately Regina arrived at the location for the shoot, she headed for the actress room to notify her that she was around.

The actress however appeared angry from the look on her face and the tone she spoke with due to the billionaire wife’s lateness.

While the actress criticized her for arriving late, Regina kept interrupting her with apologies and even knelt at some point.

Regina Daniels moved to touch her senior colleague’s legs while addressing her as ‘mummy’ after being asked to leave the set.

The attitude exhibited by the billionaire’s wife towards the veteran actress garnered praise from many Nigerians. In their opinion, she could have chosen to be rude due to her status, but she remained calm and humble throughout.

Reality TV star, Doyinsola David, has responded to claims that she is currently in a feud with her colleague, Ceec, and the management of singer MC Galaxy over a music video they both appeared in.

The Big Brother Naija stars were featured as vixens in the recently released music video for MC Galaxy’s song “Asa Mbodo,” with Ceec in the lead role and Doyin in a supporting role.

It was alleged that Doyin and Ceec were supposed to share a snippet of the music video on their respective Instagram pages to boost its visibility, but Doyin reportedly refused.

According to the anonymous blogger, Cutie Juls, who shared the incident online, Doyin allegedly declined to post the video because she felt overshadowed by Ceec, who had a more prominent role.

A Nigerian lady who is married to a last-born husband has shared online what she caught him doing with their baby’s walker.

The video which she shared via her TikTok page @Vivienne.E captured her husband trying to fit into their baby’s walker.

The first clip displayed her husband posing for a picture in a white suit, while the second clip showed him attempting to ride the baby’s walker.

She also revealed via the caption that her husband was behaving this way because the blood of a last born still runs through him.

“Why are people this heartless?” – Actor Alesh Sanni laments after man he housed absconded with his N3.2m, jewelry

Popular Nollywood actor, Alesh Sanni, has taken to social media to raise alarm after a young guy he was housing stole millions of naira.

He shared pictures and a video of the culprit, whom he identified as Folorunsho, and had lived with him for five months before he fled with N3.2 million and his jewelry.

In a post shared on his Instagram page, Alesh stated that he does not judge people by their looks, which is why he decided to assist the Ekiti-born man who was in need.

The actor and Instagram influencer said that the young man entered his bedroom when he went out and made off with millions of naira and gold jewelery.

“My daughter got teased about the beads she puts in her hair” – Sophia Momodu shares how she handled the traumatic experience

Nigerian businesswoman and socialite, Sophia Momodu, has revealed how she dealt with the traumatising event after she found out her daughter, Imade Adeleke, was teased over her hair beads.

She shared this experience while reacting to a video of a little child who was ridiculed at school for having curly hair on her Instagram story.

Sophia noted that she made the decision to have a direct conversation with the girl’s mother, which she claimed had a lasting impact.

Eventhough Imade and the classmate have since reconciled and become friends, Sophia said she still gives the mother a knowing look whenever she sees her in school.

In response to a direct message that chastised her for going up to the bully’s mother, Sophia gave her justification.

She said that since the youngster was too young to really comprehend the consequences of her actions, she felt that communicating with the mother was essential.

She wrote;

“This is abit triggering for me, because I’ve had to have this conversation with my child. Sometime ago a girl from a different race in her class teased her bout the beads we used to put in her hair. My baby was so hurt she cried so I paid that girls mom a “private visit” that I doubt she’ll ever forget
Of course the kids have since made up & are friendly with each other now .. but from time to time when I run into that child’s mom at school I give her that (you know na, try am again) look.
Its so important to teach our kids self love & to just be kind because the opposite is a real pandemic.

In a recent Bhad and Boujee podcast with Moet Abebe and Tolanibaj, the reality star revealed that she would never travel via economy.

According to her, back when she was still broke, she frequently travelled and suffered a lot of neck stiffness and body pains due to the discomfort.

Reacting to the controversial stance, Phyna took to social media to disclose that she had just travelled back and forth in economy class to London and back to Nigeria.

She stated that she would speak more on the topic later but wanted to book other economy tickets for her upcoming trip, hinting that she planned to continue flying that way.

Mohbad bags two posthumous awards in Ghana

Late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad has reportedly received two posthumous awards in Ghana.

The singer, who passed away at the age of 27, was recognised as the winner of the Supreme African Street-Hop Artist of the Year and Supreme African Song of the Year (Beast and Peace) at the Ghanaian Supreme Dynamic Talent Academy Awards.

The musician was supposed to get his award nomination and approval letter before his untimely and controversial death, according to the blogger who broke the story on Instagram.

In remembrance of the late singer, the esteemed award’s organisers have established a new category for awards, which will be presented annually to the top performers.

He was immortalised as the Supreme Imole Rookie Street-Pop Artiste of the Year.

She wrote;

Netizens have gushed over a voice message a lady has shared online, which she said was sent to her by a suya seller.

The man which many have described as ‘intentional’ was heard requesting for the ladies account number before proceeding to speak to her.

The man started by greeting her then asking about her wellbeing before proposing that she sends her account number, so he could credit her with some money for card.

According to the caption she attached to the video, she had given her phone number to a man that sells suya.
