Nigerian man rents out wife’s room

A Nigerian man has allegedly rented out his wife’s room and suddenly relocated her to the parlour.

Feeling cheated, the pained woman identified as Umma Bashir, has since dragged her husband to a sharia court, in Kaduna State over the incident.

It was there she explained how she suddenly came home and saw her property moved out.

She said:

I returned home from an errand, only to see my bedroom locked and belongings moved to the sitting room.

“When I confronted my husband, he told me that it was his room and that he had the right to do whatever he wished with it.”

Umma mentioned that her two co-wives were living in a two-bedroom apartment each with their children while she was unduly left with one room along with her children.

She has since moved to her parents house pending the period of time the case would be resolved.

The accused said:

I informed her that I would rent out one of the rooms, to enable me to renovate an apartment I was planning to relocate her to.”

After listening to the couple, the judge Malam Musa Sa’ad said it was the responsibility of the husband to provide shelter for his family, stressing that “in Islam, it is wrong for husband and wife to live in one room with two teenagers.”

The case was adjourned until April 18.

Time stood still 6 years ago when we decided to go against all odds and get on this ride together. It was a classic romantic script of boy and girl running wild at their emotions, driving into the unknown. A wonderful place that exist with only us, a place where the second hand of time is broken. Thank you for an amazing forever. Happy anniversary @lizjohnblack

Lady gang raped

A young lady and her family have been left traumatized after she was raped at gun point while her husband and brother were made to watch.

The bitter incident happened at their cocoa farm in Okuni, Ikom Local Government Area on November 6, 2017.

The rapists attacked the cocoa plantation, stole bags of cocoa, beat up the woman’s husband, then tied him and the woman’s brother at gun point while the woman was raped by multiple men until she passed out.

Lady gang raped

A culprit was arrested but was later released on bail without any sanction from the police in Ikom. This angered residents of the community and they decided to take action.

Last week women in Okuni marched to protest the ugly incident and this alerted the Government to respond to the case.

The Governor of Cross River State has directed the Attorney General of Cross River State Bar Abang to immediately prosecute the culprit earlier arrested for raping the woman along side 4 of his friends.

The Honorable Commissioner for Health Cross River State, Dr Inyang Asibong and Director General of Cross River State Primary Healthcare Development Agency, Dr Betta Edu last Wednesday at Ikom assured the victim and her family that though justice has been delayed, the perpetrators will face the full wrath of law.

Dr Inyang Asibong criticized the police for releasing the culprit and assured everyone that the Cross River State Government will do everything to make sure the culprits are rearrested and made to face the law. She said the State Government will henceforth be responsible for the medical bill of the Lady and push for justice.

Singer Davido reveals how much he needs to have his life set

Davido reveals

Singer Davido reveals what he needs

You just might be wondering how much the singer will actually need to have his life set, given that he has often times boasted about the 30 billion in his account – if that isn’t enough to have a financially stable life, then what is?

It should be recalled that the singer splashed a whooping $235k (N86m) on a 2018 Bentley Bentayga and has over time, been throwing money on diamond encrusted 30 billion chains for himself, his crew, daughter and girlfriend… don’t get us started on his lavish lifestyle he’s been leading over the years – so with this much monetary influence, isn’t his life already set?

Singer Davido

The singer took to his snapchat account to share how much he needs to have his life set – Davido says he needs $10million to have his life set and by our calculation, $10m is equivalent to N3.6bn – which is just by a little measure higher than 10% of how much he boasts to have in account when he sings.

Yeah well, guess this confirms that the singer has nothing close to 30 billion in his account… hmph!

Watching pornography together as a couple is a sin — Ghanaian man claims

Ghanaian man

Ghanaian man claims watching Porn is a sin

Below is an opinion post concerning religious people watching leaked sex tapes. The post is written by Chris-Vincent Agyapong Febiri which he sent to a Ghanaian website.

In it he spoke of how people who claim to be religious are mostly the ones who love to watch leaked sex tapes which he says are no different from porn.

He wrote:

”I think I need to remind the religious folks who carry Mohammed and Jesus Christ on their foreheads every day pretending to believe in them and pretending to follow the Quran and the Bible this:

Do you know it’s a SIN to watch p*rn including leaked s*x tapes?

Viewing Pornography is a Sin – Matthew 5:28 is very clear on this. “But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart.”

Pornography viewed alone or together as a couple is sin. 1 John 2:16 says, “For everything in the world – the cravings of sinful man, the lust of his eyes and the boasting of what he has and does – comes not from the Father but from the world.”

Quran 16:90 states that; “Surely God enjoins justice, kindness and the doing of good, to kith and kin; and He forbids all that is shameful, indecent, evil, rebellious and oppressive.”

Sex tapes are indecent materials under both Islam and Christianity and indulging in their viewing is certainly a sin. Allah equally hates this just as Yahweh does, and if you watch it, you are going straight to hell (Jahannam).

This is why I don’t bother with religion and religious folks anymore because almost everyone is heading to hell—and I am told there is a special worse hell for the hypocrite religious folks.

You guys do not make a good case for your beliefs or God at all!”

Meet Nigerian Transgender, Veso Golden Oke.. He is taking drugs to grow breasts, shrunk his manhood (photos)

Nigerian Transgender Veso Golden Oke

Here’s another Transgender, identified as Veso Golden Oke, who lives in Ghana.

Veso is a hairstylist, a makeup artiste and an event planner.

Veso used to be a man where he was known as Messiah Oke Veso. Apparently, he was born to a Nigerian father and a Ghanaian mother, into an Anglican family.

Nigerian Transgender Veso

He left Nigeria in 2014, then transformed into a transgender.

He changed his identity, as says he now wants to be known as Veso Golden Oke.

Talking about her transition into a transgender in a new interview, Veso Golden refuses to accept he was born a male. According to him, he was born as a young child with male genitals and the doctor announced to her mother that she was male.

But growing up, she realized she wasn’t fitting into the body she had and it was traumatizing. Until she discovered transitioning through an ex-girlfriend she was dating at the time.

Golden Veso also said she had dated girls before becoming a transgender because she thought using her penis, having sex with different girls will kill the feminine side of him. ‘Unfortunately’, it never worked.

Nigerian Transgender Veso

Golden Veso hasn’t undergone surgery to remove her penis yet but she hopes to do that in the future and real soon.

In the meantime, she takes hormonal pills to naturally grow boobs just as women, grow hips, grow butts, get slimmer stomach and waistline. She’s also taken testosterone blockers that shrink her penis.

When asked if she has a boyfriend, Golden Veso said she’s single at the moment but looks forward to having one in the future. She also stated that she’s not gay and has never been gay, despite the fact that she’s drawn to men!

Veso also says since she started her hormonal pills, she gets sexual urges like women do and reaches orgasms like women do. She no longer gets penile erections like men.

Nigerian Transgender Veso

When asked how supportive her family was and has been through her transitioning process, Veso Golden said her family has been supportive.

In fact, Veso Golden fled Nigeria to Ghana on his mother’s advice and total support to prevent harrassment and the 14 year jail term after former president Goodluck Jonathan signed the Same-Sex Marriage (Prohibition) Bill (SSMPA) into law in 2014.

More pictures of Veso Golden below and her interview where she talked about her transgender journey, challenges and life as a Nigerian trans woman in Nigeria, Ghana and Africa.

OAU Lecturer, Professor Akindele demands 5 rounds of sex from student for pass mark, OAU reacts (Audio)

OAU Lecturer

OAU Lecturer busted

A professor at the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, Richard Akindele, has been exposed for demanding sex from a student to make her pass.

A recording on the phone call made by the professor to the student, asking her to have sex with his five times in order for him to increase her exam score from 33 to a pass mark, has since gone viral on social media.

Akindele is said to be a pastor despite the fact that there were no mentions of the department he lectures in nor the church he pastors, in the post.

The leaked conversation suggests the student had refused the lecturer’s initial sex demand to upgrade her. .

It appeared, in the audio, that the student deliberately called the lecturer again, to play along, record him and have hard evidence against him.

The following dialogue occurred in the audio:

Student: Hello Sir, Professor Akindele, yesterday you said something but because I was close to my boyfriend I could not say anything. You said you’ve submitted it

Lecturer: I gave you an opportunity and you missed it. Forget about it. You will do it next year.

Student: I was calling to confirm whether you were serious about it.

Lecturer: Me that agreed to do something. I know what I meant. If you don’t trust me, forget about it. If I wouldn’t do it, why should I give you audience in the first place? If I am not interested in doing it, I won’t give you audience in the first instance. The other person has come and I told her straight away because there is nothing I can do to bail that person out and her mark is even better than your own. The person scored 39 while your own is 33. Only two people failed the course so what else do you want me to do. You can see it anytime you come, we are at Moro doing exam, we are doing MBA executive exam. They are just starting. I will finish by 4:30 and maybe 5, I should be in the office. If you are ready, come by 5:00. Why did you tell me you were on your period the other time.

Student: I was really seeing my period Professor Akindele.

Lecturer: Stop mentioning my name. And now nko?.

Student: I am not on my period now.

Lecturer: Your boyfriend has done it yesterday?

Student: Is it every time that someone will be doing with the boyfriend? Is it every time you do it with your wife?

Lecturer: Yes

Student: It’s a lie, not possible. So what’s the plan now?

Lecturer: Let’s have the first one today and then we will do another one tomorrow. Is our agreement not five times?

Student: Is it B that you want to give me or C? Why would it be five times you will knack me?

Lecturer: That’s what I will do.

Student: Prof, you know what? Let me fail it. I can’t do it five times. For what nah? No worry. Thank you, sir

Lecturer: You are welcome.

When contacted by PREMIUM TIMES, the spokesperson for OAU told their correspondent the management already knew about the scandal.

“The university is aware and we are setting up machinery to critically look at the issue to determine the veracity otherwise there won’t be conclusion,” said the spokesperson, Abiodun Olanrewaju.

The trust in Nigerian universities to deal with sexual harassment is low and OAU, this time, will have to act decisively to raise public trust. Many Nigerians monitored on social media believe predatory lecturers, even when exposed, are left unpunished, thereby increasing the rate at which lecturers sexually abuse female students.

Commenting, Remi Sonaiya, OAU retired professor and former presidential aspirant, said: “Terrible! Unfortunately, many universities don’t have strong deterrence or punishment for abusers. Students should be encouraged to speak out when such things happen. There must be at least someone in the institution who can be trusted and confided in. Justice must be done.

“The good thing about such cases becoming public is that it will force the institutions to address them more seriously – if only to protect their name. Sadly, our universities have not dealt seriously with the issue of sexual harassment.”

#BBNaija: I was molested at the age of 5 – Lolu

BBNaija Lolu

BBNaija housemate Lolu has revealed that he was molested at the age of five by a housemaid hired by his mother.

Lolu revealed this while speaking with Big Brother during his diary session on Monday.

He said he had to deal with the shame and never told anyone about it untill he turned 21.

Lolu said “I was molested at the age of 5 by my housemaid. I didn’t inform my mother at that time because she had challenges and was trying to keep the family.

“The maid would subject me to a lot of punishment and if I refuse, I had consequences which I cannot discuss on national Tv because it is too graphic.

“I finally told my younger sister about it when I turned 21.

“I’m saying this because I want people who have gone through this kind of assault to talk about it. The right thing to do is speak about it.

“Most people don’t know they have the right not to let such things affect them negatively or positively.

“Even though I’ve come to terms with it, I remember the incident sometimes.

“I have sought therapy sometimes, but I am not ashamed or sad about it. I have dealt with it for the past 24 years so I’m fine.”

Photos of the Police officer, Inspector Yemisi Makinde who was killed during Offa Bank Robbery

Offa Robbery

Offa Robbery

Inspector Makinde Yemisi Florence Grace, the daughter of a retired police inspector, James Oyeyemi was among the police officers killed by armed robbers last Thursday in Offa, Kwara state.

A day before her death, the slain officer had taken to Facebook to celebrate her late sister’s twins on their birthday.

Offa Robbery

Speaking to newsmen, 72-year-old Mr Oyeyemi said the robbers operated unhindered because of the sophisticated weapons they used.

“The police said they do not have the kind of weapons the robbers came with. The police have AK-47 , while the robbers came with machine guns as I gathered.

“How could someone with AK-47 face somebody with machine gun ? The police do not have sufficient weapons,” said Mr Oyemisi, who retired in 1998 after 35 years of service.

“In the past, the IG used to equip the police with armoured car and bulletproof vests. So where are they now ? They do not maintain the vehicles for operations, they do not buy arms and they do not pay them well ? How do they want the police to perform ? They cannot perform”

He accused the police of not officially informing families of the slain police officers of what happened to their relations.

“It is not good to talk about the security situation in Nigeria because it is too bad. If there was enough security , how would armed robbers come to police station and attack policemen? “

“Also, I learnt that some deceased policemen were dumped in a mortuary in Ilorin and nobody cared for them.

“Families of the deceased were not informed on time about the incident. It is wrong. I am a retired police officer.

“In the past, they would have contacted families of the deceased police officers who would arrange how to bury their dead.

“They would then talk of how to get their entitlements. But nowadays, it is not the same,” he added.

In a tribute to the slain policewoman, a family Rufus described her as a good Christian, both in words and deeds.

“This is Too Much to Bear Oh Lord!!! Aunti Olopa as we do call her. Aunty Makinde Yemisi Florence Grace (nee Oyeyemi) a police officer per excellence and integrity.

“A Christian officer both in words and deeds, serving with Owode police station, Offa, Kwara State, one of the victims of yesterday’s attack by the heavily armed robbers on both the said station and the commercial banks in the area.

“Not less than 50 people were said to have lost their lives to this unfortunate incident.

So so unfortunate that we lost you to yesterday unpalatable occurrence.

Immediately I read the news of the attack on Reformation Movement of Nigeria (RMN) WhatsApp platform yesterday at about 5:38pm, I quickly copied it and sent to you, not knowing that I was sending info to a dead officer.

You were in the Church on Sunday sharing testimonies.

In fact, that yesterday you were on Facebook celebrating the girls (the twins) left behind by your immediate younger sister 13years ago.

You were even online till 3:17pm yesterday.

It is very painful to we your friends and those your family members that you left at this point in time.

You are such an Aunty I cannot forget in a hurry. Your room was immediately after our room 2003-2006. I will miss you so much Aunty Grace Olopa.

No more payers for the dead!

May the good Lord put a stop to this kind of untimely death in your family, in our midst and in the land in general. May the same Lord grant your family the great grace to bear this.

May the great God open the eyes of the government in Kwara State and Nigeria to put high priority on the security of lives and properties of.

Woman with husband, fiance, and two boyfriends shares her life story (Photos)

Mary Crumpton

Mary Crumpton, who was a teacher and is now a therapist, describes what her life is like and how she began exploring having more than one partner who are all aware of the presence of each other in her life, yet they all don’t mind.

It’s not your average marriage but Mary Crumpton says having a husband, fiancé and two boyfriends works for her – and the men in her life.

The 44-year-old from Chorlton, UK is speaking publicly about her relationships in the hope of allowing others to understand people who follow the practice polyamory.

Polyamory is having more than one relationship and is different from having more than one spouse – which is illegal in the UK.

Mary has a husband, Tim, 43, a fiance, John, 53, and two boyfriends – Michael, 63, and James, 73. She lives with Tim and John and the other two men live nearby.

Here Mary, who was a teacher and is now a therapist, describes what life is like and how she began exploring having more than one partner. She decided to embrace polyamory at the age of 29.

She said: “I was brought up in quite a traditional home. I had boyfriends and was monogamous. Having more than one partner never crossed my mind. In my twenties I got married and settled down in Chorlton fully intending to be with my husband for life.

“At the time I didn’t really question having just one partner. It was normal. I did sometimes have feelings for other people, but I felt guilty about doing so and just took it as a sign that I didn’t love my husband enough. When the marriage didn’t work out, I met someone else, and started a monogamous relationship with him.

“The idea that loving more than one person might not make me a terrible human being only dawned on me when, at a pub, I bumped into a person who had more than one partner. I had never come across it before, or the term ‘polyamory’ which means ‘more-than-one love’. I was quite shocked, and curious about how it all worked for them.

“My partner was with me when I met the polyamorous person, and he was curious about it too. At the time neither of us considered it for ourselves, but I think the seed had been planted.

“A couple of years later, in 2003, I suggested to him that perhaps we might try an open relationship. I was interested to explore the possibility of allowing myself to love more than one person. I think for him it was more about the thought of more than one sexual partner. We were both curious to see how it could work for us.

“I took to it immediately. I had a friend that I was already close to and that friendship drifted very naturally into something more. My partner had a similar experience with a friend of his. It was a revelation to me. I quickly realised that I had been ‘wired up’ this way probably all my life – loving more than one person now seems like the most natural thing in the world to me and I can’t imagine being any other way.

“For me, it is all about love. Of course, some of my relationships have been sexual, but sex is not the driving force for me.

“I am no longer with the partner that I first explored polyamory with, though he and I remain close friends, and he has continued to be polyamorous.

“I married one of the people I first dated polyamorously. My husband, Tim, who is 43, and I got together in 2004 and were married in 2013 at Manchester Museum under the Tyrannosaurus Rex.
“I have a partner, John, 53, who I have been with since 2011, and who I am planning to ‘marry’ this year. We can’t legally marry, but we are having a full wedding-style commitment ceremony at Chorlton Unitarian church in May.”
Both men are straight and have been brought together through Mary. They have all lived together since 2015.
“He has a flat a few streets away from my house and I usually stay over at his place once or twice a week, and sometimes he stays at mine. Michael spent Christmas with us and we had a really special day together.

“Last but not least, I am with James, 73, who I bonded with while watching football games in the pub together in 2015. My husband and John have no interest in football, so it is nice to have someone to share that interest with.

“One of the lovely things about a life with more than one partner is that there is no pressure on one person to supply all my needs. My husband Tim and I share an enthusiasm for environmentalism and all that entails, like electric cars, and veganism. With my fiancé John I enjoy watching science-fiction and we go to church together.

“With Michael, I like to watch and support him playing for his local darts team at the Royal Oak, and we go to karaoke nights – which is possibly more embarrassing than admitting to polyamory!
“Living in a house with more than one partner is something I have done for a number of years now. I suppose in many ways it is no different from living in a shared house with a group of friends, or family. All the usual things about whose turn it is to wash up etc.

“Tim and John get on well, I suppose a bit like brothers, going on bicycle rides together for example. So it seems to work okay. They have something in common in that they both love me of course, and friends joke that I need two of them to keep me in-line.

“Like in any relationship, insecurities can arise. Though in some ways there is less jealousy perhaps – no fear that a partner might cheat on me because why lie about it when having another partner is allowed anyway? Sometimes there might be a fear that a new partner is ‘better’ in some way than a current one, but good communication and offering reassurances allows that to be dealt with.

“In many ways I have found that being in open relationships has forced me to communicate much better. I am very honest and open with my partners about my feelings and needs, in a way that I didn’t have the courage to be in previous monogamous relationships. So I think I have grown as a person, and have better and stronger relationships now.

“Of course, all of that is possible in monogamous relationships, and I am not suggesting polyamory is in any way better, just different. But it works well for me personally.
“I don’t have children, and have no desire to have children. I see no problem with bringing children into a polyamorous set-up though, because I have seen co-parenting work really well for other polyamorous groups. It is not something we plan though.

“Mostly people have been great. They had lots of questions about it, and some family members needed reassurance that we were all happy and no-one was getting hurt. I find that I have a huge capacity for romantic love. I just naturally fall in love with more than one person at a time. So to settle down with just one person for the rest of my life just doesn’t feel natural to me.

“People sometimes ask me if it means that I love my husband, or any of my partners less. And I say no. Perhaps it is a bit like how we love our children – when a parent has a second or third child, it doesn’t mean that they love their first child any the less. I think that romantic love is unlimited too. Time is limited of course. But I do not believe that love is. It certainly isn’t for me.

“I get different reactions. Most people are interested and people often say ‘I wish my wife/husband would let me do that’. I sometimes get negative reactions too – I have been called a slapper or a slag. I think that negativity mostly arises because I am doing something a bit different and sometimes that can make people feel uncomfortable.

“I have had women assume that I am a ‘man-eater’ and will try to seduce their husband – to be honest that just makes me laugh. I have also been told that what I do is ‘against God’s law’, though in fact there are many instances of multiple marriages in religious texts, and there are denominations of both Christianity and Islam that allow multiple marriages.

“Mostly though, people are open to my lifestyle – they can see that I am honest with my partners and that we are all happy, so they see it as no-ones business but ours.

“Polyamory is more widely known about now too so it is perhaps less of a shock to people now than it might have been, say, 10 years ago.

“We all go out together. For example all going out for drinks for my birthday or to social gatherings and events organised by friends or trips to the cinema or whatever. Tim, John and I go down to London to see my family the three of us. And my sister’s children refer to us as ‘Auntie Mary, Uncle Tim and Uncle John’.

“People have the idea that polyamory is all about s*x which isn’t the case. I don’t do one night-stands. I generally wait a month or so at least before becoming sexual with anyone I start dating. I suppose in that sense I am old-fashioned. My relationships themselves vary in how sexual they are – one of them being more platonic with not much more than cuddling and kissing. I suppose that, for me, is another good thing about polyamory – each relationship can find its own level in terms of s*x and with other things too. And there is no pressure on one relationship to tick all the boxes, so to speak.

“Some of the biggest benefits of this way of living are those I have already mentioned, but I guess there is a financial benefit I haven’t mentioned – cohabiting with two of my partners makes things easier financially for us. So much so, that the three of us took the decision that I would reduce my paid-work-hours and do more unpaid voluntary work in our community.

“The only negative for me really is dealing with other people being judgemental sometimes. But thankfully I am quite thick-skinned. And I hope that my being open about it with friends, and your readers, will help people understand polyamory better.

“Maybe this will mean that there will be less judgement from strangers in the future, just as homosexuality and transexuality have become more accepted in society as people have been more aware of them.”

Mary is standing at the next local election for the Chorlton ward representing the Green Party.

Amazing transformation of a girl called a witch because of her bow leg

Amazing transformation of a girl with bow leg

A 14 year old teenager identified as Julienne who was called a ‘witch’ due to her severely bowed legs , after a life-changing operation, can finally stand tall.

Her mother, Veronique noticed her legs were bending abnormally when she was just a baby.

They are from Cameroon.

Later, she was formally diagnosed with bowed legs, a condition that causes the knees to grow painfully apart.

Walking was a challenge and on the days Julienne couldn’t ride public transport, she had to walk to school. It would take almost two hours of painstaking effort under the sweltering sun to walk to school.

She was even rejected by relatives due to her condition and struggled to even stand sometimes.
Julienne received life-changing treatment by international charity Mercy Ships, who were able to straighten out Julienne’s legs and give her a normal life.

Her family couldn’t afford to pay for an operation, but thankfully the charity covered the costs.

amazing transformation

After a successful operation, Julienne faced yet more hard work with physiotherapist Meg Crameri.

It took several months before Julienne was given the green light to return home.
When Julienne looks at photos of herself before the surgery, she doesn’t even recognise herself.

When it comes to acting, he’s quite known for his role in the ‘Life 101’ drama series.

4. Though he never mentioned this in the house, Rico is also a trained lawyer. He studied law at Babcock University

5. Rico entered the show to help his cousin who has autism and to invest in his music.

6. Rico was born in a relatively large family. He has seven siblings.

While in the show, Rico Swavey was indeed one of the not so romantically linked guys in the house, as regards having a relationship.

#BBNaija: Alex and Cee-C engage in dirty fight; viewers react. (Videos)

Big Brother Naija housemates, Cee c and Alex earlier in the day, engaged in a serious brawl over the division in the house and the gang some housemates seem to be forming.

Controversial housemate, Cee-C doesn’t seem quite happy with other housemates saying stuffs about her in her absence – she airs this out as she and Alex exchange words but many viewers seem to be of the opinion that ‘drama queen’ is just being bitter.

Days ago, before the eviction show, Cee-C had ‘prophesied’ that she saw Alex leave the Big Brother house, but it turns out that her prophecy didn’t come to pass as it was Rico Swavey who left the house but it would have come to pass if it were two housemates that were to leave the house last night, cause Alex came second to the last in the voting polls.

Well, since Alex is still in the house, it’s obvious that there won’t be one less drama for Cee-C to deal with and few hours later, our expectations haven’t disappointed us.

Pretty wife of King of Swaziland commits suicide by overdosing on drugs. (Photos)

One of the wives of popular South African monarch, the King of Swaziland, has reportedly committed suicide by overdosing on drugs – it’s been reported that Senteni Masango, the eight wife of Africa’s last absolute monarch, Swaziland’s King Mswati III, has died after committing suicide.

According to Citizen, she was found dead in the early hours of Friday morning, April 6, not up to a week after the burial of her sister, Nombuso Masango.

According to reports, Senteni overdosed on about 40 amytriptyline capsules – Amitriptyline, which is sold under the brand name Elavil, among others, is a medicine primarily used to treat a number of mental illnesses. This includes major depressive disorder and lack of attention disorder.

Sources closer to her have revealed how unhappy she was with the abuse within the royal household. It was alleged that the king ordered to ensure that she neither attends her late sister’s memorial service nor funeral.

Until her death, she allegedly lived alone for over three years in a big mansion with not a single visit from the king.

King Mswati last year officially unveiled a new bride, Siphelele Mashwama, the 19-year-old daughter of a Swaziland Cabinet minister, Jabulile Mashwama.

She became his fourteenth wife, though some have left him. Further reports claim he now has 15 wives.

King Mswati was born Makhosetive Dlamini, which means “King of Nations”. When Mswati’s father, King Sobhuza II died, Mswati was only 14 years old.

Because he was still attending school at this time, two of his father’s queens (Queen Dzeliwe Shongwe, and Queen Ntombi Tfwala) stepped in as regent until Mswati could take the throne.

Lagos man physically assaults his wife after consuming alcohol

In another episode of domestic violence in Nigeria, a woman has accused her husband of brutally beating and maltreating her just because she advised him against drinking alcohol.

The woman also claims that this isn’t the first time of being beaten in her marriage as she alleged that the husband no longer wants to take care of their child.

The woman who has now fled Lagos, is currently in Port-Harcourt, Rivers state capital and is seeking for justice.

The woman shared her story with Human rights activist, Emeka Ugwuonye as seen below:

Former Big Brother Naija housemate, TBoss put a follower of hers in his place after he came for her on Instagram.

The lovely half-Romanian shared a post on her page where she said she believes clothes should be repeated until they are worn out.

Then, a follower, Sopulu Patrick Nweke dropped a derogatory comment which TBoss didn’t quite appreciate. TBoss had written,

Who says you cannot repeat Clothes??? I believe clothes are to be repeated until you wear them out! After all, you should utilize the value of every penny spent. #MyOpinion #Mine #Youdonthavetoagreewithit. #Romania #Bucharest then #London. PS: I’m NOT saying if you can afford it it’s a bad thing I’m simply implying that there shouldn’t be any sort of pressure on you to impress the Gram Nation! #Eitherwaysiwillbemisquoted. What’s your opinion though? Comment below?

Then the follower commented, That’s what by say when u font have 25m

The BBNaija alumnus then fired back by making fun of his grammar, then asked him to send his account number so she can send him money for English lessons.

This dude didn’t actually take shame in this and defended himself by blaming it on auto-correct – this is after he’d dropped his account number and full account name.

Why I am running for second term — Buhari

Nigeria 2019 Election

Nigeria 2019 Election

President Muhammadu Buhari has formally announced his intention to seek a second term in 2019.

The president made his plan known to the National Executive Committee of the All Progressives Congress.

His office issued the statement below on the announcement giving further details on the president’s decision.

See Full statement below:

PRESIDENT BUHARI TO SEEK RE-ELECTION IN 2019

President Muhammadu Monday in Abuja declared his intention to seek re-election in 2019.

President Buhari made the declaration at a closed-door meeting of the National Executive Council of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The President said he was responding to the clamour by Nigerians to re-contest in 2019, adding that he wanted to give NEC the honour of notifying them first.

Shortly before making the declaration, the President presented a speech on the report submitted by the APC National Executive Technical Committee.

His remarks:

REMARKS BY HIS EXCELLENCY, MUHAMMADU BUHARI, PRESIDENT, FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA, ON THE REPORT SUBMITTED BY THE ALL PROGRESSIVES CONGRESS NATIONAL EXECUTIVE TECHNICAL COMMITTEE 9TH APRIL, 2018

I am delighted to welcome you all to this very important meeting in the affairs of our party and our country. I want to specifically thank members of the Technical Committee for a job well done within the limited time frame.

2. It shows a great sense of commitment to the ideals of our party with a view to consolidating and positioning the party to continue delivering good governance in the overall interest of Nigerians.

3. With the present state of the party and based on the report submitted by the Technical Committee, It is important to focus on how to move the party forward by avoiding actions detrimental to the interest of the party. Considering that politics is a game of numbers, we must not be a house divided against itself and must try to note, appreciate and accommodate our differences as far as the law permits.

4. Upon my review of the Report, my position is to ensure that the party tows the path of unity, legality and cohesion and not that of division.

5. Therefore, I am stressing that we should strengthen our internal democracy by organising the Party’s Congresses and Convention where election of National Executive Committee members would be held. This will automatically end the cases filed by members seeking orders of Court compelling the party to hold its Congresses.

6. I also believe that the current executives should be free to vie for elective positions in the party if they so wish as permitted by our Party constitution.

7. However, considering the provision of Article 31(1)(iii) of the APC Constitution which requires any serving officer desirous of seeking re-election to resign from office 30 days before election, I am not sure of the practicality of present serving officers’ ability to meet this condition.

8. Accordingly, the party may consider granting waivers to party executives at all levels so that they are not disenfranchised from participating in the elections should they wish to do so, provided this does not violate our rules.

9. Necessary waiver(s) should also be extended to executives at the Ward level whose tenures may have elapsed, and indeed to anyone knocking at our doors from other political parties. This is in the spirit of the Right to Freedom of Association guaranteed by the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (as amended).

10. In this circumstance, the party should officially issue a statement on the above Waivers so that our house may be full. We all must not be ignorant of the times, and the journey that is ahead of us.

11. Just like our party symbol; “the Broom,” which typifies strength in unity, let us strive to remain united in our purpose. Victory is sure by the Grace of God, and together we must continue to sanitize Nigeria’s political environment.

12. Once again, I welcome you all to this meeting with the hope that we will, in our deliberations today, conduct ourselves without rancour and promote the highest interest of the party and the nation.

Thank you.
