The murder trial of Maryam Sanda who stabbed her husband, Bilyaminu Bello, son of ex-PDP chairman, Haliru Bello, to death in November last year, continued yesterday April 19th at the High Court in Jabi with one of the prosecuting witnesses telling the court how Maryam stabbed the deceased multiple times which led to his death.
Ibrahim Mohammed, a businessman and a friend of the deceased, told the court how the incident occurred on the night of November 18, 2017 while he was paying the couple a visit.
While being led in evidence by the prosecution counsel, James Idachaba, Mohammed said Maryam had on the night of the incident, threatened to cut off the manhood of the deceased unless she was divorced that night.
He said himself and Bilyaminu were smoking ‘Shisha’ and watching TV when Maryam came down to call Bil who answered her call and while they were upstairs, he heard noise from upstairs before Maryam sent Sadiya (the fourth defendant) to call him.
“When I got there, I saw both Maryam and Bilyaminu holding each other’s cloth on the neck. I asked what was happening and pleaded that they stop this. Maryam told me to tell Bilyaminu to divorce her. I told her they should exercise patience and stop fighting. She said she was not going anywhere until he divorced her.”
Mohammed said Maryam picked a bottle by the side of the door and broke it on the wall.
“She came straight to Bilyaminu to stab him. I held her hands and Bilyaminu went behind her and collected the broken bottle from her hands and went downstairs. I closed the door and continued to advise Maryam that they should stop fighting. She said she would not stop until Bilyaminu divorced her that night; that either he divorced her or she would cut his private part. While pleading with her, Bilyamin entered the bedroom and Maryam followed him, insisting that he should divorce her that night but Bilyamin kept silent.”
Muhammed said Maryam thereafter took one of the containers of scent and broke it on the table and approached Bilyamin to stab him but the deceased held her hand and collected the container and they started hitting each other, before Bilyamin pushed her to the bed and went downstairs but Maryam followed him downstairs. While he was sitting in their living room, Maryam entered the kitchen and took a knife, which he said he collected from her hand, adding that she later took up a table knife, which he also collected from her hands.
“She attempted picking the knife for about three or four times,” he added.
Mohammed said he left the couple’s home at about 1am but was later called by Abbah, the brother of the deceased to come to the Hospital.
“Abbah Bello (a brother to the deceased) called me about 1 hour later that I should come to Maitama Hospital because Bilyaminu was dead. I went there and met Bilyaminu lying on a bed in front of the hospital. There was a hole in his chest near the heart, bite on his stomach. There was a cut on his thigh and there was a sign of stitching on him,” he said.
Mohammed said both families of the couple were at the hospital, adding that they left from there to the police station after the corpse was taken to the mortuary. He added that while going to the station, Maryam’s mother and brother (Maimuna Aliyu and Aliyu Sanda) with a policeman in their car diverted to the couple’s house. He added that Usman Aliyu told him that they should follow them to the house to see what was happening there, adding that Maimuna and Aliyu went upstairs, while the policeman was in front of the car.
“Usman Aliyu and I entered the sitting room and observed that everything was normal as we left it. When we looked at where Bilyaminu prayed, there was a pair of slippers and praying mat. On a closer look, we discovered that the window blind had come down.”
Under cross-examination by counsels for the defendants: Joseph Daudu (SAN); Rotimi Ogunesan (SAN); A .T. Kehinde (SAN) and Olusegun Jolaawo, the witness told the court that he left the deceased performing ablution when he was leaving his house that night. When he was asked if Maryam threatened to kill the deceased all through the fights, Mohammed said she did not state so, adding, however, that, “Maryam said she would cut his private part.”
The trial judge, Justice Yusuf Halilu, adjourned the case to May 15 and 16 for continuation of hearing.
You know the way asthma patients clutch their inhalers? Buhari caries his shame with such care and attention because without it, he may not survive.
When I heard what the president said about the young people in his country, I was nearly moved to tears. Not because of what he said but I thought of how choking his opinion was to the people he told that. Sitting in the midst of people who know that you have NO degree and that you are intellectually barren to make such demeaning statement about the young people who in all truism are the only flicker of light Nigeria has.
I can imagine how their brows were raised and how goose bumps overthrew their skins listening to such cancerous assertion from a man who masquerades as the president of the most populous black nation on the earth.
I can imagine how after the program they would share amongst themselves their disgust and wonder in hushed tones while they shake their heads to the truth of his unworthiness.
Okay. Let us say that Nigerian youths are lazy.
Where is the wisdom in going to the UK to tell some pale looking people clad in their cockiness that the young people of your country are lazy and jobless??
A clear case of making your incompetence a global knowledge.
My immediate younger brother who goes from door to door in onitsha selling rubber footwears is lazy and jobless.
My friend who after school is in onitsha market selling pampers and antiseptic is lazy.
My girlfriend who struggles in medical school by juggling the high academic demand and her soft drink business is very lazy.
Thousands of young Nigerians who became accidental entrepreneurs because the government had no jobs for them are lazy.
The bouncers in clubs who stand through out the night tucking their stomachs in for hours just for peanuts are very lazy men.
The girls who are students and make up artists are lazy people too.
The girl I once saw working in a building site with her pregnancy is lazy. Very lazy.
My friend who died in a Nigerian hospital because there was no fuel in the generator to power the oxygen machine died out of laziness.
All the young people that were killed in cold blood by the Fulani herdsmen died because they were lazy and dependent.
There are many things to qualify a Nigerian but laziness isn’t one of them. It is disrespectful especially when they have to provide their own security, water, light and happiness.
On the other hand, Buhari’s children are very hardworking. They work like donkeys.
Went to the University of Surrey with their hardwork. They never experienced strike because they were hardworking.
They had all they needed to succeed because they were very hardworking people unlike we the lazy ones.
They fly first-class because they aren’t lazy people.
Their drivers carry them to everywhere even the hair salon because of their hardworking mentality.
Yusuf the most hardworking young man I know had an accident with a bike worth millions. Many Nigerians can’t afford such accident because they are very lazy.
Now, he was sent out of the country to be treated like a hardworking young man because he doesn’t deserve to be treated in the same hospital lazy Nigerian youths are treated.
Buhari is a shame!!
I should write an apology to the word shame because it feels ashamed when I mention Buhari alongside it.
Dear young Nigerians, let us keep grinding and surviving.
Let us keep stomaching the insults from politicians who are using our rights to settle their personal scores.
Let us find things that will make us happy in the midst of this depression called Nigeria!
Finally, may we never stop asking God how we ended up here.

Reno Omokri has reacted to the trending controversies that have rocked the Nigerian media these past few days.
While comparing the behaviour of Big Brother Naija’s 2018 housemate CeeC to that of the goof made by Nigerian President – Buhari at the Commonwealth Conference (Where he tagged Nigerian Youths as Lazy), Reno said that CeeC is a better person than Buhari.
He added that Ceec realized her error and apologized, but President Buhari didn’t apologize, opting to justify his statement.
Reno tweeted;
“Cee-C is even better than Buhari. At least after insulting Tobi, she realized her error and apologized. Rather than apologize after calling Nigerian youths lazy, Buhari justifies it. If Cee-C is worthy of eviction, Buhari is thrice as worthy and should be evicted from Aso Rock!”

The House woke up to the eye-popping surprise of welcoming former BBNaija Housemate and fitness coach Sandra Osaigbovo for a very special and intense workout. Osaigbovo was the fourth runner up to the very first BBNaija cohort over a decade ago and has since grown to become Nigeria’s top Zumba instructor. Also known as Sandy, she wasted no time in getting sleep out of the Housemates minds and bodies. We have to say that never had we witnessed so much sweat dripping of their faces: Housemates were puffing and grimacing under the workout’s increased intensity.
Use It or Lose It
Yet the heavily pregnant Osaigbovo didn’t seem impressed at all by the Housemates sweats, and instead gradually pushed them to go beyond their own limitations. The amount of energy that Osaigbovo helped Housemates pump in their bodies ensured they surpassed themselves. By all means, even the fitness fanatic Tobi was drenched in sweat as he caught up with the frantic pace of the session. Miracle and Alex who do enjoy a good workout were equally intensely focused on following the routine. While Nina has never made a secret of her disinclination for high intensity workout, she nonetheless gave it her best shot. Cee-C had also seemed to adhere to the ‘no pain no gain’ approach.
A Well-Earned Rest
As painful as it surely must have been, Alex and Tobi were energised by the session and stayed hanging out in the patio doing laundry, while Cee-C, Miracle and Nina had gone back to bed to rest their tired muscles. Sandra Osaigbovo’s body conditioning exercises will most definitely be remembered in the Big Brother Naija history.
What The Hell Is That?
With the Big Brother Naija Finale drawing closer, our Housemates are employing different tactics to help them cope with the Game’s inevitable end.
Being locked up in a House with no contact with the outside world can work on anyone’s psyche, but luckily, our finalists are equal to the challenge. Although this week has been far from slow, our gang is continuing to take it easy mostly, as the week comes to a close.
Alex and Tobi have officially taken their respective places as ‘King and Queen of dance’. On any given morning, you will see the two besties staring at themselves in the garden mirrors, dancing up a storm, with no care in the world. Sometimes, the two regale each other with stories from their real lives outside the House. Other times, they make a game out of mimicking Big Brother’s voice as it beams a directive over the House speakers.
Cee-C on the other hand, usually keeps to herself and pops up when it’s time for a Task Briefing. Yesterday however, Cee-C gave everyone something to talk about when she went on a verbal tirade against Tobi after he had “gossiped” about her. That and the Strike that followed gave the gang enough to talk about, well into the night.
Nina and Miracle have been sure to spend every waking moment with each other. When they are not sitting outside soaking up the last rays of the early winter sun, the two hop into bed and take lazy siestas in each other’s arms.
Today, Miracle’s aeronautical know-how was put to good use by the gang, who had spotted an ‘Unidentified Flying Object’. Responding to shouts of “Miracle come down quickly,” the 22-year-old pilot sprinted out of the house and made a beeline for the garden, where Alex and Tobi were waiting, eyes fixed at the sky. “What is that? A rocket? A plane? It’s going so fast”.
Miracle then confidently assured his fellow Housemates that everything was in order and there would be no alien invasions anytime soon. “It’s a commercial jet,” he confirmed, before going on to measure how high the plane was flying and possibly how fast.
It’s a bird, it’s a plane
Let Me Upgrade You
The Buff Softie
This morning Toby tenderly offered to trim Alex’s long braids and refresh her hairstyle. As she came to sit on the floor, he sat behind her caringly held a pair of scissors in his hands as the improvised hairdresser he had become to allow her to change style and feel glammed up. The sight of Tobi clumsily and slowly cutting Alex’s hair was only equalled by the pure confidence and comfort she showed in him. Earlier this week, Tobi and Miracle had told Alex of their genuine appreciation of her natural, uncompromised beauty as they seemed to never make a big case of the range of flashy colours she sported in her hair.
The Green Haired Lady
It is a rare woman who would let inexperienced hands near her crown of glory, as the fear of bad hair days is usually enough to threaten any woman’s poise. Yet despite Tobi’s lack of credentials in this domain, Alexdidn’t blink for a second as she let him gently trim her waist-long green mane. It made for a rather jolly instant to have the twice Head of House Alex and thrice Head of House Tobi share this unplanned intimate moment. As soon as the matter had been handled, Alex sprung back on her feet and rushed to the mirror to admire her new reflection, while Tobi stretched out his arms, looking all proud of his achievement.
Friendship Goals
For all the wahala that the House has given us, Alex and Tobi have stuck to each other and have gone through thick and thin together. Like the two peas in a pod that they are, they’ve tolerated each other’s craziness and come rain or shine dealt together with their mixed emotions. No matter what happens after the game, Alex and Tobi’s friendship will go down in history as one that has proven that the language of friendship was not words but meanings.
In Hot Waters
The jacuzzi is by far the one facility of the Double Wahala House whose benefits Housemates have not fully enjoyed. For some reason between the Tasks, Challenges, Wagers, Parties, Romances and Live Shows Housemates seem to have resisted the hot tub appeal.
Bubbles and Bliss
As usual, Tobi dragged Miracle to the jacuzzi but the waters proved to be at a higher temperature than they could tolerate. The two friends entered inch by inch into the tub, while hopping from one foot to another as not to be seen as chickening out of waters. Nina who had also changed into a bathing costume also came by, but the sight of the two big fellows fighting to immerse into the waters stopped her from joining them. Nina initially held back, fearing she might not cope with the steamy liquids, but Miracle managed to convince her to dip one inch at a time until her body had adjusted to the temperature.
Like Ducks Taking to Water
By then Miracle and Tobi were comfortably immersed in the waters, with Nina still sitting on the edge, casually chatting and looking ravished to just hanging there in the group. Given there’s no party in the House without Alex, it didn’t take long for her to also appear and get ready to take a dip in the hot bath. In the heat of the moment, Alex entered and sat next to Tobi, only to realise seconds later that her mic had dipped too deep and was compromised, which Biggie’s voice confirmed by calling her into the Diary Room to replace it.
In Calming Waters
With all the drama that has taken place within the walls of the Double Wahala House, we cannot help but wonder how many more could have been pacified just by the purifying effects of water. As much each Housemate has at one point or another been involved in some peace-brokering efforts, perhaps just sitting together in a hot steamy bath, listening to music, singing and just relaxing would have done wonders. What do you think?
Producers of Motion
This evening the four Housemates who progressed from the first Minimie task earlier were asked to pair and create a two minute Television commercial.
Unfortunately for Tobi, he didn’t make to the next round of the task which is worth 500,000 Naira. However, Big Brother allowed him the opportunity to be the go to guy whenever the pairs needed help.
Nina and Cee-C joined forces while Alex and Miracle formed another team and were given a three hour time frame to complete their task.
Help Out or Leave
Tobi’s excitement when he saw the camera was too visible to contain as he shared his knowledge with his fellow Housemates on how the equipment worked.
His willingness to help wasn’t without drama though when Cee-C lashed out on him when he was trying to help them.
Dressed in a school girl’s uniform, Cee-C and Nina were ready to shoot their video when Tobi explained how the camera works. Cee-C then pointed out that Tobi has a negative energy and he’s reluctance to help is obvious.
The few exchange of words between Cee-C and Tobi had Nina fatigued and she told Cee-C that she had lost interest but made it clear that they will use Tobi’s help when they need to.
Minimie for Everyone
For their skits, Cee-C and Nina have chosen to do a commercial focusing on a young girl who enjoys a variety of Minimie’s offerings.
Miracle and Alex have taken an adult route where they’re portraying a couple who’s expecting and the wife craves Minimie’s variety of noodles.
The pair that wins will walk away with the cash prize and a year’s supply of Minimie Noodles and Minimie chinchin.
Repairing What’s Beyond Repairs
With only five people left in the Big Brother House and just a few days until the winner is crowned, hopes for any reconciliation amongst the Housemates seems to be becoming a myth every day.
Dear Diary
Working together in the House seems to be a very difficult mission and the Housemates seems to have made peace with how things are.
In the diary room, they all told Biggie they don’t think they’ll ever work together without any personal feelings getting in the way. Cee-C being the most vocal on the ‘united front’ point and pointing out that it’s almost impossible to omit personal feelings; with Nina highlighting the fact that the House is a kingdom divided.
When quarrels and misunderstandings are the talk in the House, Alex, Cee-C and Tobi’s names pop out.
And although the trio has tried to iron out their differences, nothing seems to have changed.
Post Biggie’s House
Alex has told Biggie that she’s learning to accept people with their flaws in the House but she wishes that Cee-C would stop imagining that people are against her.
Miracle concurred and added that he also tried sitting them down but that didn’t work and thinks the relationship, if ever, will be fixed when they leave the House.
Y’all the remember the Nigerian guy who was in desperate search of a babymama according to his Instagram post at the time?
Legit Dollarface Peters was willing to pay his baby mama N1Million if she gives birth to a girl and N2Million if she gives birth to a boy.
The Nigerian big boy is also notable for spending ₦1Million on drinks during his ex-girlfriend’s birthday where he then proposed to her but unfortunately broke up barely 3weeks later.
Well, Dollarface seems to have moved on as beautiful pictures from his traditional wedding after he called off his engagement with the slay queen and got betrothed to another woman, have surfaced online…
Special adviser to the President on media and publicity, Femi Adesina has released a statement in response to the criticism President Buhari has received following his comment at the Commonwealth Business Forum on Wednesday.
President Buhari had at the forum, told the gathering that Nigerian youths sit and do nothing and wait for government to provide schools, healthcare, housing for them free.
Read Adesina’s response below,
At the Commonwealth Business Forum in London on Wednesday, April 18, 2018, President Muhammadu Buhari gave a keynote address on Making Business Easier Between Commonwealth Countries. The presentation was followed by a discussion, and question and answer session.
Responding to a question, President Buhari had cause to talk about some Nigerian youths, and he said: “We have a very young population; our population is estimated conservatively to be 180 million. More than 60 per cent of the population is below the age of 30. A lot of them have not been to school and they are claiming that Nigeria has been an oil producing country, therefore they should sit and do nothing and get housing, healthcare and education free.”
Typical of their stock in trade, manipulators and twisters of statements of Mr President, who lie in wait to make mischief, interpreted the comment to mean that President Buhari had taken all Nigerian youths to the cleaners. But elementary English recognizes a wide gulf between “a lot of” and the word “all.” How can “a lot of them,” suddenly transmogrify to mean “all of them?” Mischievous and unconscionable!
There is no way President Buhari, father of the Nigerian nation in every sense of the word, who equally has biological children of his own in the youths age bracket, pass a vote of no confidence on all youths. It can only exist in the imagination of those who play what the President has described as “irresponsible politics” with everything.
President Buhari has always applauded and celebrated Nigerian youths who excel in different areas of endeavour, from sports, to academia, and other realms. And he will continue to do so, because he values the youths, and knows that they are the fulcrum on which the future of the country rests.
Indeed, every country has its share of idle population, and it is the bounden duty of government at all levels, to create an enabling environment for them to actualize their potentials. That is what President Buhari is committed to doing.
The focal areas of the administration; securing the country, reviving the economy, and fighting corruption, are actually intended to give youths a future and a hope.
This much was emphasized in an April 5, 2018 comment by President Buhari, while receiving Letter of Credence from the Head of Delegation of the European Union to Nigeria, when he said:
” Our insistence on probity is to encourage people to be accountable, and accept honesty as a lifestyle so as to secure the future of our youths.’’ The President also said more than 60 percent of Nigerians fall into the age category of youths and deserve to inherit a stable and prosperous country that they can be proud of, adding that the government will work assiduously to prevent waste and the depletion of resources by corrupt Nigerians.
It is futile for mischief makers to lie in wait, and take a minor part of the words of the President, and turn it into negative commentary, peradventure they could diminish the profile of the President. Nigerians across all walks of life know who is serving them faithfully and truly, and they will always reciprocate such fidelity as occasions demand.
Controversial Big Brother Naija housemate, Cee-C, who has been a trending topic across discussions across social media platforms, has been backed up by former housemate, Anto, following her outburst yesterday in which she hurled insults at fellow housemate, Tobi.
Anto who sat for a chat with Pulse, called Tobi a gossip. She said;
“Tobi is a gossip, I have told him several times while in the house.
“I don’t think a gossip is a bad thing. It’s not; sometimes we just want to talk.”
Nigerian Fuji star, Small Doctor who had before now disclosed that he can’t wait to marry Cee-C, also backed her up even when notable celebrities condemned what she did on the reality show yesterday.
Small Doctor who is currently campaigning for Cee-C to win, wrote;
‘Nobody Holy Pass? See Beyond Her Flaws… Kindly Vote Cee-C To 32052… iyanu MASHELE SOONEST???’
Former Big Brother Naija housemates, Anto and Lolu look every shade of adorable in these stunning new photos of theirs following their leave from the house.
The beautiful lovebirds who declared that they could hit things off after the Big Brother house look like they’re fulfilling that declaration.
The lovelies look like soon-to-be husband and wife as these recent photos of theirs is on some pre-wedding photos kinda vibe.
Recall that Lolu, reacting to question on whether he has a girlfriend, Lolu said, “There was a lot of friction before I got into the house with someone.”
and then said,
“If I’m going to have a girlfriend it would be Anto.”
Well, we’ll see how it goes… see their new photos below:
Like many other Nigerian youths, Nigerian singer, Banky W is appalled by President Buhari’s speech at the Commonwealth where he described the youths as ‘Lazy‘.
According to the R&B singer, ‘we are always great at pointing out our issues.. but the truth is that we can sit around and complain from now until Kingdom come. IT WILL NOT MATTER. INEC will not count your tweets. Let’s turn the month of May into #PVCMay‘.
Read his full post below…
So apparently, this is what our President thinks about the Nigerian youth. What do you guys think?
I have a suggestion. Whether you agree, or disagree with the President’s comments, this time, do a little bit more than posting, commenting, retweeting, and complaining. Go and register to vote.
I’ve sat in countless meetings, seminars, conferences and hangouts with young people. We are always great at pointing out our issues.. but the truth is that we can sit around and complain from now until Kingdom come. IT WILL NOT MATTER. INEC will not count your tweets. Let’s turn the month of May into #PVCMay.
Even if you don’t know who you’re voting for.. even if you hate every single candidate. At least register.. so that if someone comes along who you feel compelled to support, you can. If you’re really serious about wanting Nigeria to be a better place, go and register to vote. Get your PVC asap. The registration period will end LONG before the elections come, so if you think you can wait until next year, you are wrong.
Get your PVC today. Or don’t bother complaining about anything, because it won’t matter. Your tweets will not count. Your vote will.
A lady must really feel like she’s achieved something great in her life after she took to Twitter to announce that she just banged Nigerian singer, Wizkid.
The London based Nigerian lady took to Twitter to boldly announce that she slept with Nigerian superstar, Wizkid.
She tweeted,

The lady hasn’t come out to state that she was joking so we can only presume that she’s serious about this.
The authorities of the Obafemi Awolowo University, OAU, Ile-Ife said Monica Osagie was the student involved in a sex-for-marks scandal, that has sorely questioned the morality of university dons, in the training of young Nigerians.
Prof. Eyitope Ogunbodede, the Vice Chancellor of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), said Monica Osetobe Osagie was studying for a Masters in Business Administration.
He also announced the suspension of Prof. Richard Akindele, the don involved in the salacious scandal.
Ogunbodede’s action followed the submission of the interim report of the committee set up to investigate the allegation of sexual harassment revealed in audio recording.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that a recorded audio conversation of the don demanding for sex to increase the marks of a female undergraduate had gone viral.
“The committee observed that a prima facie case of inappropriate relationship with the female student had been established against Professor Richard I. Akindele”.
The Vice Chancellor said that though the investigative committee invited both Akindele and Osagie, only Akindele appeared before the committee.
“The report indicated that many other witnesses appeared before the committee and gave useful evidence.“The university is making efforts to ensure that Miss Osagie appears before the investigative committee so that it can hear her side of the case and promptly submit its final report,’’ he said.
Explaining why the lecturer was yet to be sacked, the Vice Chancellor said that the provisions of the relevant statute of the university must be followed.
“Under the provisions of the relevant statute of the university, an academic staff can only be dismissed from service or have his or her appointment terminated only when the matter on which consideration is being given has been investigated by a Joint Council and Senate Committee;
“Also the staff has appeared before the committee with his or her counsel, if so desired.
“This procedure is the minimum requirement of the law and regulations of the university.
“It should therefore be noted that the suspension of Professor Richard I. Akindele is on the basis of the findings of the Investigative Committee that he is prima facie liable.
“This decision will abide, pending the final determination of the case by the council of the University”, the vice chancellor said.
A viral photo has caused a debate online, and the photo is that of ‘white men’ who were led by some Nigeria representing brands on a courtesy visit to the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi’s Palace.
The quizzing thing about the photo was that the foreigners refused to ‘bend the knee’ even as it was quite evident that their Nigerian counterparts were on both knees.
A 25-year-old woman revealed that she is satisfied dating a married man and has no intention of leaving him.
Rachel Siziba said the current relationship she is having is between her and a married man and she sees nothing wrong with it.
“Yes it is true I am dating a married man but I entered into the relationship not to separate him with his wife; he puts his family first and I respect that.
“When he is at home, I don’t call him because I know he will be needing his space and to tell the truth, I have no intentions of leaving him just because he is married.
“He never lied to me when we started dating and I made my decision to be with him a long time ago,” she said.
Though she has had several conflicts with her boyfriend’s wife, Rachel said she is not moved with all the threats that she has been receiving.
“When I started going out with my boyfriend I knew what I was getting myself into and I knew what would come so when his wife started sending me messages shouting at me I wasn’t surprised.
“She insults me over the phone and fabricate news about me on social media but I just take it as it is.
“There are nude pictures circulating on social media and it is his wife who fabricated all those pictures and published them,” she said.
When we started going out he was facing problems with his wife and up to now they still have problems.
“I am not with him because I am taking advantage of their situation but we are together because we love each other.
“I don’t force myself on him, he proposed love to me and gave me assurance that he loved me.
“We have been to a local hotel and my intention is not to get money from him, he puts his family first and I respect that,” she said.

This has so far caused uproar on Social media, with many youths trending the hashtag #LazyNigerianYouths, as they show off their handwork.

Recall that few days ago, his baby mama, Temitope came out on social media to accuse him of snatching their child from him. She stated that Wande Coal gave his parents the child to take care of and that they prevented her from seeing the 10-year-old boy.
Reacting to her accusations, Wande Coal via a statement said that everything his baby mama has said is a lie.
Wande said that the only truth in her accusations is that she is the mother of his child. He revealed that she (baby mama) didn’t tell him she was pregnant but got married and passed off the child as her husband’s own.
However, the truth came out when her family members found out the boy looked like him. She was then thrown out of her husband’s house.
Read his statement below ;
“I want to start by saying that the only truth that has been said so far, is that the child is my son. Everything else is a lie. I honestly do not want to say much because at the end of the day, this is family and Temitope is the mother of the child but I must clarify a few things that she has failed to mention to blogs and websites who have refused to fact-check this story. Things that she has used to attack my character and the reputation of my family.
Temitope has failed to mention to the public that she did not tell me she was pregnant with my son. I didn’t even know she was pregnant. She married another man and claimed that the child was his and she never told me. We (my family) only knew about the child after her husband and other people, including her aunty, found out the child looked like me.
She was returned to her family with the child. The child was taken to D’banj’s mother who then reached out to my mother and asked for a paternity test to be done. This is why the paternity test was done in 2010 and not 2008. The house the Mo’Hits Crew stayed in at the time was owned by Dbanj’s mother and as Mo’Hits grew, everyone moved to the Maryland house. I did not leave the neighbourhood. Everyone knew where we moved to.
After we confirmed that the child was mine, my mother visited Temitope and everyone agreed that the child needed a cleaner and better environment. My mother took the child, Temitope and her sister to our house for a week. After that week, Temitope left and has not returned since to check on the child. Not even on his birthdays. In 2011, my mother reached out to Temitope and told her that she was disappointed in her. Temitope promised to come visit the child. She never did.
Temitope was in a “fashion school” which she left for reasons best known to her. Not because of the baby as she was married to someone else. My mother paid for a full session in another fashion school to make sure she had something to support herself. Temitope stopped attending three months after she started. If my mother didn’t want to see her, or allow her near the child, why would she do that for her?
The claim that she was refused entry to the house is also a lie. My parents have not changed phone numbers, neither have they moved from the house since the child was given to us. Why hasn’t she taken her family to my parents’ house if she was refused entry? She has both my father and mother’s numbers.
I have read things that blogs have stated that my mother said and I can say confidently that my mother would never say such a thing. I must also clarify that when I knew Temitope, she was 20 years old and the name “Joseph” is not my son’s name. That was the name she and her husband named him.
My parents are respectable and God fearing people, and it is disrespectful for anyone to portray them as Temitope, or blogs and media platforms have portrayed them.
The only reason I will not press charges is because she is the mother of the child. Temitope, stop telling lies. You have a chance to correct this error. No one has stopped you from seeing the child. No one will. I am focused on my career and building a future for my family and if you truly care about the child as you claim, you and your family should reach out to my family.
I love my son and this is the kind of madness I work hard to protect him from. I have said enough as these issues are family matters and I want to keep the rest of it that way.
For the record, the woman in that picture is not my mother and I do not know who she is.
Atiku Abubakar, former Vice President of Nigeria has reacted to a statement made by President Muhammadu Buhari yesterday.
The President at a Commonwealth Business Forum in Westminster, London said many Nigerians youths are uneducated, not ready to work and dependent on revenue from oil to survive.
He further said the youths, who make up 60 per cent of the population, were waiting to get social amenities free without doing anything.
Reacting to the statement, Atiku took to social media where he said he will never refer to the Nigerian youth as lazy.
“I will never refer to Nigeria’s youth as people who sit and do nothing. They are hardworking. I should know, I have thousands of youths working for me all over the country who have been the backbone to our success. he tweeted.”
He continued;
I’ve always said oil is not Nigeria’s greatest asset. Our greatest asset is our youth who created Nollywood out of nothing and an entertainment industry that is second to none in Africa.
Our youth are charting new frontiers; creating a huge tech industry on their own! Their entrepreneurial spirit, work ethic, and creative abilities are things of pride and should be applauded, encouraged and nurtured.

Controversial Uche Maduagwu has come again with his very unique opinions.
This time it is on Big Brother Naija 2018 housemates Cee-C and Nina.
He has given reasons why Cee-C is better than her fellow housemate Nina.
He wrote;
@ceec_official is better than Nina because nobody has ever removed her “red pant” or had SEX with her miraculously in BBnaija…??
We can pour out all the different specie of locally made insult on @ceec_official for verbally assaulting Tobi, as the Biggest Actor in Nigeria, i think she deserves it, but she is not as useless, reckless and irresponsible in the #BBnaija house as NINA.
Has anyone ever seen the legs of @ceec_official being hung on the wall like an Antelope while having SEX in BBnaija??? No, has anyone ever seen her RED “pant” being torn live on national Tv before SEX?? No.
So my people, wouldn’t you agree with me that @ceec_official is still a saint where this mumu girl called Nina is, someone that can not even control her Sex drive, but would stupidly spread her legs to have marathon Sex on national #television, so disgusting.
@ceec_official might need counseling, but Nina is an irreplaceable disgrace to our Culture and Tradition in Nigeria.
BBNaija See Gobe housemate Gifty Powers has also jumped into the on-going criticism of Cee-C.
This time, she is attacking a former BBA winner, Uti Nwachukwu who in his post seemed to support the housemate on her insults on fellow housemate, Tobi.
According to Gifty, Uti did not say anything positive about Tobi and this implied that he was in full support of all that Cee-C did.
She wrote;
“With all these grammar it still doesn’t change the fact that she is a RAW MEAT. And you not saying something positive about Tobi, really shows you are in support of what your friend ceec did. the rule in BBN state that YOU SHOULD NEVER ABUSE ANYONE OR YOU WOULD GET DISQUALIFIED IMMEDIATELY. PS: A man will always be a man.”
Recall that Uti had earlier taken to Instagram to pen his support for Cee-C. And according to him, he is simply human and everyone is bound to make mistakes as a mortal being.
Read his note on Cee-C:
Kai!! CEEEECCC!!! U for Calm down na aa Firstly, There is no excuse for her behaviour yesterday.I will never support speaking to anyone that way. It was a sad situation & I hope people hav learned the true value of Respect for Another Human Being.
That being Said, Cee-C We see YOUR flaws,we see your weaknesses. NO BODY HOLY PASS! A lot OF us have had to go thru horrid experiences to learn self control. I for one was extremely Brash in BBA2008 but came back a lot better in BBA 2010!
EVEN after winning my temper was still at dangerous levels and i knew there was a problem. Does this mean that i was a Bad horrible person? HECK NO! I grew and i am still growing! Most of us that wear our emotions on our sleeves find it hard to conceal Love, Loyalty, Excitement and of corse the worst emotion-RAGE!
No one is perfect! Again, I am NOT JUSTIFYING HER BEHAVIOUR FROM YESTERDAY..no matter the poking or deliberate provocation,No one should react that way in public or in private..BUT THIS CAN ONLY BE LEARNED THROUGH EXPERIENCE. (trust me..i know) We try to be better versions of ourselves daily but during this process sadly, we might still fall. The ability to rise is what makes us victors.
Cee C we see you struggling to do better and in the process you fell..its all part of the process..its UR JOURNEY.. What saddens me more is the trolling/insults.A lot of u say she needs psychological help..so is this how u treat someone that needs help? With abuses/ridicule? COME ON!! WE CAN DO BETTER.
FROWN UPON IT BUT DONT TROLL!! Its dehumanizing.Temper justice with mercy.Dont act like what you have been condemning(Hypocrisy)

Lanre Gentry, the ex-husband of Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe, appear to be throwing subtle shades at the mother of his children.
He shared a post that used the analogy of a key and padlock to explain the difference between a woman who keeps many sexual partners and a man who does same.
The photo he shared had a text that reads:
My daughter once asked me, “Daddy, why is it that when a man has sex with many women he is considered a champion but when a women has sex with many men she is considered a whore?” I replied her, “listen well my child a key that has the ability to open many locks is a master key a lock that can be open with any key is useless”
In the caption, Lanre Gentry wrote:
God will not make me and you useless in the name of lord.
He however did not call names but his followers believe he is referring to his estranged wife.

Woli Arole, popular Nigerian comedian has stunned his fans with a story of how he nearly died.
The comedian took to his Instagram page to recount an incident that nearly left him dead some two years ago.
He told the story with an air of gratitude for the gift of life.
According to Arole, the incident happened when he went for an event with Nigerian singer, Reekado Banks at a university.
He revealed that some hoodlums attacked them and threw stones at them. He later woke up in hospital with a swollen face.
He revealed that his face was seriously injured and his bone was broken.
Below is how he told the story:
“Today makes it exactly 2 years that I would have been BURIED. But the Lord kept me and saved me by his grace.
“People have asked me all over the world the cause of the SCAR on my face. I went for an event with @reekadobanks at a university and hoodlums attacked us that we should give money.
“Before we could talk, they threw an heavy stone at our coaster bus and the whole glass broke on me. I woke up in the hospital, my face was seriously injured, I had a broken bone and I couldn’t bath or raise my hand for one month.
“God kept me, his grace was there for me. I want to appreciate God for his unending mercies. Help me thank God for keeping me alive. Big thanks to @mirah_balogun @asiricomedy @doctorfrick @official_itouche for being there for me during this period. Big thanks to all my fans and friends around the world. All glory to God for his grace.”
Prophet Olagoroye Faleyimu in a recent chat with Yoruba Movie Magazine has once again urged Funke Akindele to embark on special prayers if she ever wants to be a mother.
The prophet also warned her husband, JJC Skillz to pray so as to overcome the spiritual issue of women always leaving him.
He is the founder of Blessing and Miracle Church of Christ.
He said,
“Recall that I have once said that Funke Akindele will keep acquiring more wealth, this was even before she started getting endorsement deals.
“She chooses wealth and fame when she was coming to the planet earth.
“She is a promised child who has a limited time to live, and that is why I have been clamoring that she must have a special prayer so that she can genuinely conceive and have her own kids”.
“The special prayers most of them are doing are fakes. There is no how you can go for a special prayer without deliverance.
“A certain special prayer requests will be given to her and she goes to the mountain herself to fight the battle.
“It is not something you ask a pastor to do for you. That is what special prayer is all about”.
“Counterfeit prophets have been predicting this and that about her, claiming they saw a set of twin in her womb, and that was why the rumour was everywhere a few months ago that she was pregnant.
“She needs to open her mouth to deliver herself. If she fails to do the prayer, another grace for her is to marry a poor and unpopular pastor, the person will get the solution and she will have her own child”.
“Another way she can break the covenant is to probably marry a gate-man.
‘This is the promise she made with her members in the spiritual realm.
“It might be difficult for her to have a child if she fails to break the covenant.
“The solutions to her problem about conceiving are what I have stated above”.
“If she comes to me for prayers and I pray for her, she won’t conceive. I can only give her some prayer points as guideline.
“Immediately she engages in the special prayers, one of the signs she should watch out for is that, her money and endorsements will be reducing and within 2 months, the pregnancy will come”.
