He has taken to the platform to explain why he did it, and to of course clear the air, saying that no “2 million cheque” was presented during the proposal.

I was wowed when I saw our faces all over the internet to be sincere I have been longing to cement my relationship with my girlfriend but I don’t know how to express the love I have for her so I organised with few friends who know our story and our journey I was able to get a ring worth N50,000 and the cheque was just a dummy stuff to express she’s worth millions of naira.
I am working day and night to make sure she gets the best. I love her so much and I won’t fail her??

Meanwhile, Adesua during her visit to the Big Brother Naija House last week, hinted on her music career with her singer husband, Banky W.
The actress stated that the fear of failing and not doing music right had stopped her from singing.
She revealed this while speaking with Big Brother Naija 2018 housemates during her visit to the Big Brother house.
“The fear of not doing music right has stopped me from taking steps because I am a perfectionist.
“However, I may be doing something soon, I don’t believe God gives you a talent not to sit on it
“I was scared is not a valid answer on not using your talent.
“I’m going to do something this year concerning music, you would hear from me soon I assure you.
“Though I’m not sure about making a duet with Banky W this year,” she said.
Speaking further on her acting career, Adesua listed her AMVCA awards as one of her greatest achievement.
“If you don’t have a conviction to do something, then don’t do it.
“My greatest achievements was when i started acting and also winning AMVCA awards.
“I don’t have it all together,this celebrity thing is a smoke stream.
“I don’t want to be a local champion, I want to put Nigeria on the map, so I still have so much to do in the movie industry.

Rotimi Amaechi, minister for transportation, says the train fares between Kaduna and Abuja was increased because majority of those using the service are rich.
Speaking on Thursday at the 3rd edition of the Kaduna Investment Summit, Amaechi said the intention of the president towards the railway was to transport poor people.
“Some of you have been asking why we increased the fare between Kaduna and Abuja,” he said during his address at the summit.
“For each locomotive, we spend N56 million, when we were charging you N600, we were getting N16 million so all you rich men, we were dashing you N40 million per month. Actually, very few poor men use those trains. The actual intent of the president is to allow us to move poor people from Kaduna to Abuja. If you go to Rigasa, you will see the big men pack their cars and use the railway and chase away the poor people.
“So since it’s big men that use the railway, we jerked up the prices. You know what it’s called — appropriate pricing. So we price according to your pocket but it does not affect our subsidy, we still subsidise the railway.”
The minister encouraged people to continue making government accountable saying he is the first to know when locomotives are faulty.
“The funny thing about the social media is that anytime there is a problem with the railway, the first person to know is me,” he said.
“I see all sorts of videos and I wonder if they realise that I am the minister for transport not the managing director of the Nigerian Railway Corporation so I can’t run the railways.
“In the past, none of you can send a video to a minister but now you not only send, they direct me on what to do. I urge you to continue in that light and make us accountable to you.”
A fast rising Nigerian singer, Ali Zainab Nielsen, aka Alizee has died.
According to reports from LIB, she was reportedly murdered this morning along with her 4-year old daughter, Petra Nielsen by her Italian husband, Peter Nielsen at their home at Ocean parade Towers in Banana Island.
Confirming her demise to LIB, a member of her management team said
‘its really a shocking and sad development. We all woke up to the sad news of her death this morning and to find out that the homicide was committed by her husband makes it all the more sad. The Police has been brought in to the case and we’ll share more details as we get them’.
The circumstances leading to her death still remains yet to be revealed but sources say the bodies of Alizee and her daughter have been deposited at a mortuary while police continues with their investigation.
Alizee is a Kogi State born singer who signed a two year record deal with an Asian record label, Petra Entertainment in 2017. The record deal came with a brand new Ford explorer, a house in Banana Island and international distribution with affiliates of her record company in Asia.
There was pandemonium earlier today in Offa, Kwara state after gunmen stormed the area for a bank robbery operation.
According to reports, at least four people were killed in the course of the operation including a security personnel.
The robbery was reported to have lasted for several hours without any resistance from the police or the army.
The robbers who came with heavy weapons and dynamites which they used for the operation – carted away huge amount of money and cars before escaping through Igosun route in the area, according to reports..

My siblings just came back home. They were on their way back to church and caught in the cross fire, close to Zenith bank.
According to them, no military force confronted the robbers throughout the operation. They used dynamites and crazy guns.
They saw four people killed. Two days ago, we brought you reports of how Covenant University punished some male students for rocking ‘bushy’ and ‘uncompliant’ hairstyles.
The School’s Dean of Student Affairs had a barber come in and according to reports, “a single” clipper was used to shave the hair of hundreds of young men.
Now, the students are scared that they may have been infected with God knows what.
According to LIB, one of the students said:
‘I am one of the students who was involved in the barbing of over 500 students with one clipper, and I would like major health bodies to move in on the issue.
‘Right now, I am not even sure what could or could not have been transmitted through such activity, considering the fact that the shaving was done to skin level and even injured me after over 300 students had been shaved’.
Wait.
Do they use different clipper/blade to cut their hair in Covenant University?
If no, what happens when someone gets infected or contracts a disease?
This CU hair gate is a great travesty. How could a university’s administration use ONE CLIPPER to shave the heads of a good number of students? What happened to not sharing sharp items such as blades, knives and clippers to stem the tide of the transmission of HIV/ AIDS?
Or better still, transferrable skin infections. As tricky as the subject is, those students should SUE the university for gross negligence and seek for damages.!
My biggest problem with this whole Covenant University Rubbish is the fact that they used the same unsterilized clipper to shave several people… WTH… what if someone contracted HIV.. they should be sued!! I couldn’t possibly agree to this.
At the barbers in Covenant University, they are sending peoples children to go and cut their hair so they get salvation. But the people running the school are so foolish and so ignorant and disgusting that they are using the SAME unsterilized clippers on EVERY body.

Actor and rapper, Tyrese Gibson and his wife Samantha Gibson are expecting their first child together, a baby girl.
The 39-year-old Fast and the Furious actor and his 29-year-old wife, who tied the knot in a surprise Valentine’s Day ceremony in 2017, shared the good news with People on Wednesday.
“Both of our love and energy and magic and families are bonded forever because we’re going to have this child. It’s unbelievable,” the couple said in the joint interview.
“It was me screaming and just being overly excited and just fired up about the news,” Tyrese says.
According to Samantha, she learned that she was pregnant with the couple’s baby girl in late January and they couldn’t have been excited about the news.
“We were able to conceive at the right time, I believe,” Samantha told People. “There was a lot that happened last year—everyone is aware of that—and so to have the opportunity to…really start a new chapter in the way that has happened, I just look to God and I’m like, ‘Wow, I can’t believe that you would plan it this way and you do it so perfectly.'”
The publication also reported that Samantha plans to give birth in Los Angeles, where they also have a home, and they will raise their new daughter primarily in Georgia, in the same house where they wed last February.
This will be Tyrese’s second child who already shares a 10-year-old daughter, Shayla, with his ex-wife, Norma Mitchell.

Nollywood Actress, Tonto Dikeh took to Instagram earlier today to share the word of God, encouraging her fans to preach the Gospel with boldness.

To better understand what we just read in our opening scripture, it’s important to read the next verse, which is 1 John 4:4. It says, *“Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.”*
There’s an antichrist spirit in the world; there’re those who simply hate everything about Jesus, but they’re not a factor, because you’ve already overcome them.
Sometimes, we’re almost tempted to not share the Gospel with such people, because we don’t know what their reaction might be; so we become hesitant; no!
Refuse to be intimidated by their affront or effrontery; proclaim the Gospel with the consciousness of the power it bears, and the consciousness of the greater One who lives in you.
Paul said, *“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek”* (Romans 1:16).
The Gospel is for everybody; it’ll produce results in the life of anyone who hears and believes it.
But for them to believe, they must hear it first, and that’s where you come in, for they can’t hear without a preacher (Romans 10:14).
Therefore, be bold to preach the Word everywhere and to everyone.
The Holy Spirit in you will speak through you. He’ll confirm your words with signs following (Mark 16:20).
Understand that you’re the bearer of His glory and righteousness to the world; you’re the dispenser of His mercies and grace.
You’re His partner in soul winning, and He’s fortified you for the job; do it unafraid!
Through you, He’s delivering men from darkness, into light, and from the power of darkness unto God.
He’s establishing His righteousness and expanding His Kingdom in the earth. You’re not walking in your own strength

According to online reports, a lady simply identified as Dodo is allegedly Lolu’s girlfriend whom he was hiding from his in-house lover Anto.
Since the start of the ongoing reality game show, Lolu has been all over his love interest, Anto despite having a girlfriend outside.

A couple’s pre-wedding photo-shoot has gone viral.
They opted to pose semi-nude for the photos.
The expectant mother is completely naked in the photos and is just barely covered with only gold colored glitters.
The man on the other hand is on a pair of shorts but he was bare from the waist up and also had glitters on his body.
Their photos are not unlike other such nude photos that seem to be the trend these days, but it seems people have had enough and are dropping negative comments on the photos.
There were also positive comments describing the photos as “cute”.

A second-year Computer Science student at Chuka University in the Tharaka Nithi County, Kenya allegedly killed himself by hanging and shared his suicide note online before his death.
Many have been left with total shock considering how the young student with a bright future shamefully took his life because of a lady.
According to reports, he’s said to have committed suicide after he had issues with his girlfriend which he allegedly revealed in his suicide note before hanging himself.
His death has been heavily criticized by those who feel he died shamelessly because of a lady.
