A few days ago, leaked DM screenshots between Olumide Aderinokun, the husband of media personality, Stephanie Coker, and a University student, Yolanda Aiyemo leaked, and it caused series of controversies on social media.
Yolanda
In the conversation, Olumide invited Yolanda over, where he booked her a hotel room at Ek signature, in order for them to spend “quality time” together.
Yolanda is however denying any involvement in this. In a statement sent to LIB, she insists that the incriminating DM screenshots were photoshopped by an evil element who hacked her Instagram page. Read below;
Olumide and Stephanie
“I want to strongly denounce every rumor and allegation to the rumored issue of the infidelity crisis in Stephanie Coker’s marriage.”
“I declare that I have never met Mr Aderinokun in my life and the conversation that transpired was all photoshopped and diabolical imagination of some evil element to create negative unsubstantiated destructive news.”
“I wish we had better technology that could have been used to track this hacker.”
“I will also like to state that I am not in any way a SIDE CHICK and would never be one. I will not dream to cause havoc or break another persons home.”
“I come from a very honorable home and a christian one. I would never in a life time try to tarnish the image of my family, myself and my school.”
“During this time of this fake rumor I have experienced an excruciating level of disgrace , depression, insults, defaming of my personality from the public online and physically.”
“I want to boldly say that I am no side chick, runs girl or what ever the negative name that have been said about me.”
“It is quite unfortunate that the world we live in now is one where people would do just about anything to put another down. “
“To the person behind this , this is a wicked inhuman act and there is little or nothing to reap from it also to the people who have made up stories to stay relevant and claim contact to my name I denounce you. “
“My account has been compromised due to the hacking and As a result it has been deleted by Instagram. “
Last week, Speed Darlington took to his Instagram page to rant and also call out a Dominican lady who he spent over $200 for dinner, yet didn’t even get to “squeeze boobs”, according to him.
The Bang dada dang crooner has now hinted his arrest, and also blocked his Instagram page.
Before he deleted his account, he wrote “Dominicans, you shall hear from my lawyers”.
Maybe the girl sued him for harassment, or the police arrested him.
Speed Darlington account deleted.
Below is what he previously wrote;
“She’s a Dominican black beauty and she got shiny dark skin I picked her up yesterday evening for class. After I dropped her off then I showed up 3 hours later to pick her up again for dinner.
My plan was to take her to African restaurant feed her jellof rice with fry fish and some goat meat. But she insisted on downtown restaurant which I didn’t want to because I like to keep my money in my pocket. But didn’t want to come off cheap so I greed.
But now I feel like a *SUCKER* aka mumu because I don’t f**k her after $215 worth of dinner. I feel like sh**. My African American friends aways put it in my head that only looser spend hefty money on girls he never sex. Here I’m spending over $200 I didn’t even squeeze boobs or anything smh.
The other part of my mind is telling me not to see it as bad thing because it is said that good girls are not suppose to Bleep on the 1st date. To see it as the beginning of some good. But the part that kinda pissed me off was that as I was taking her home, she was on phone with another guy.
I checked her and let her know that’s a no no with the Bang Master. You can’t be on my time and talking to another guy on the phone in my present. So disrespectful.
Chiamaka Nwangwu, a young lawyer, has cried out for justice over what she allegedly suffered in the hands of policemen attached to 3-3 Division, Nkwele Ezunaka, near Onitsha, Anambra State, recently.
Chiamaka alleged that policemen beat her up, tore her clothes and smashed her phone after inflicting injuries on her. In her words, the cops brutalised her on the orders of the Divisional Police Officer in charge of the station, Regina-Jane Mbanefo, a Chief Superintendent of Police, whom she accused of first slapping her.
The incident, which reportedly occurred on January 22, 2018, has already gone viral on the social media, with different groups calling for the head of the DPO.
However, the DPO has said that she did nothing wrong. She described the lawyer, Chiamaka, as the aggressor, adding that her accuser later concocted stories to pull her down.
Narrating her ordeal to Daily Sun, Chiamaka said she went to the station on the prompting of her colleague in Abuja. The colleague had called and pleaded with her to visit the station and help his younger brother, who was detained and was about to make a statement, after he was allegedly beaten up by his landlord and some youths.
She said: “When I got to there, I met the young man making a statement at the IPO’s office. I approached him and asked him what exactly happened and he narrated everything to me. He told me that his landlord came and made a statement against him on the night of January 21, and I was also informed by his parents that his landlord had been with the DCO1 since 6am. I went to the office of the DCO1 and saw a man wearing a brown native dress. I didn’t even know that he was the landlord. I politely briefed the DCO1 and he told me that the police were investigating the matter, and we got talking from there. He also told me that, if I was not satisfied with their investigations, I could transfer the matter to the State CID or Area Command.
“I also called the DCO2, met him outside and asked him if the DPO came to work that day. He told me that the DPO was not around that morning but might come to work later. I called my mom on the phone and told her about the matter that I came for. As soon as we finished speaking on the phone, I came in and saw the young man I came for behind the counter. I signalled to him, and he told me that the IPO and DCO1 asked him to stay there. I went out again to make some calls, came in again to meet the young man complaining that the part of his body where he was beaten by his landlord was seriously oozing out puss and disturbing him.
“A huge woman in native clothes, who I later learned was Jane Mbanefo, the DPO, became very aggressive and ordered me to leave the admin office. Note that I didn’t know their DPO and have never seen her before. It was my first time of coming to that police station. She started shouting at me, asking me my interest in the matter and who I was to tell the boy that I came for on the kind of treatment he should get. I was very shocked and embarrassed. I was angry and, on my way out of the admin office, the woman continued talking, insulting lawyers generally, telling me that she is equally a lawyer of 20 years.
“She slapped me and one of the handles of my recommended glasses got disfigured and fell off. Then other junior police officers joined her and beat me up mercilessly. My black gown was torn and I was stripped naked. I managed to get my phone out of my handbag to record a video of the scene, but one of the policewomen took the phone from my hand, smashed it and seized it. My middle finger was broken and I sustained internal injuries. People were watching outside, including the young boy that I came for as well as his mum and dad.
“I was detained at the police station and asked to write a statement. Another policeman slapped me and threatened that he would send his juniors to beat me up, before pushing me in the cell. Another policewoman, who had just come in then, slapped me and pushed me from the counter. She said she would have done worse if she were the other policewomen that beat me up.
“I was asked to write a statement; when my client’s dad brought my bag from the scene where the incident took place, I discovered that N5,000 was missing from my handbag. They also threatened to shoot me or poison me, if I slept in the cell till the next day. I made a statement and was thrown inside the cell for about six hours before my parents were contacted, with my NBA chairman and my principal. I later learned that the DPO fabricated stories against me, saying that I slapped her and took their walkie-talkie away.
“I was forced to write an apology letter afterwards before I could leave the cell. I was released after I wrote the apology letter thrice which the DCO dictated to me. The DCO2 was the person that dictated all the contents in the letter with the help of the female IPO in charge. I have never experienced this type of thing as a legal practitioner, and if something is not done, this impunity will continue. The police are meant to protect citizens and not to turn them into punchbags.”
A medical report signed by Dr. Okwusogu A.O., chief medical director, Onitsha General Hospital, revealed that Chiamaka sustained “bruised injuries on the anterior chest wall, myalgia, swelling and tenderness fourth right finger and has been placed on medications and treatment.”
But when the reporter contacted the DPO, Jane Mbanefo, she dismissed Chiamaka’s claims.
Her words: “I came back that day and met some people shouting at the counter section. They were quarrelling and when I asked what was going on, I was briefed that the tenant had issues with his landlord. When I told the policemen to give them papers to go for medical treatment first, the lawyer, Chiamaka, resisted and said that it was only her client that should be sent to the hospital. I scolded her, making her realise that she was not the one to dictate what would happen in a police station. Then I told my men to take her away.
“I told her to walk away from the station but she refused and the policemen began to push her away. She pushed a policeman and the woman fell down. It would have been riotous but the spirit came to me and I ordered that she should be detained. When they put her behind the counter, she went berserk like a mad person, snapping pictures all over the station with her phone.
“That was when I called the NBA chairman to ascertain whether such a person was actually a lawyer. The NBA chairman came with Chiamaka’s Principal. There was one other woman from FIDA and Chiamaka’s mother whom I learnt is a retired magistrate.
“All the parties present were summoned and they were the people that confirmed after hearing from us that I didn’t do anything wrong. They apologised on Chiamaka’s behalf but I demanded for documentary evidence as If I knew that it was going to be like this.
“Chiamaka tendered an apology letter and I didn’t beat her or touch her. If I had done what she alleged, the mother wouldn’t have allowed her to apologise. I’m surprised that she went out to the social media and began to malign me and also ganged up with some lawyers whom we have arrested before for criminal matters.
“So many people have been calling me over this but I’m not afraid. I’m answerable only to the Nigeria Police and nobody else. I have her pictures where she was writing freely in the station here. She just made up those stories. I’m not afraid and I cannot own up to something I didn’t do. Nobody forced her to apologise. If they insist, we can go to a native shrine to swear and I’m sure the oracle can kill her because she is guilty.
“Some of these young lawyers are not normal upstairs and I’m ready for them. I don’t have any case; this is just a gang-up. Even if they say they are going to remove my uniform, I tell them that they can’t do it, they don’t have such powers. I’m doing my job and if they don’t relent, this case can even take us to the National Assembly. I’ve not done anything wrong to anybody.”
Meanwhile, Chiamaka’s lawyer, Chukwunonso Akah of Alpha & Sigma Partners, and a human rights group, International Human Rights and Equity Defence Foundation (I-Ref), led by Justus Ijeoma, have petitioned the Inspector-General of Police in Abuja, demanding a thorough probe as well as sanctions on the DPO.

BBNaija 2018 housemate, Anto was quite honest while having a conversation with KBrule after he refused to kiss her during the Truth or Dare game last night.
Many viewers and followers of the #BBNaija show are quite aware that K.Brule has developed an intense crush on Anto.
After his refusal to kiss her when dared to, he explained during a conversation later on that he wanted to avoid developing more feelings since she wasn’t interested, and the kiss was just going to make it all worse.
Anto then made it clear again to him that she knows it’s all a game and she’s a grown ass woman… and she’s f***d many nigg*s. Watch below;
According to reports, tech companies that are producing realistic sex robots are trying to reach the next level in creating sex robots that can cook and clean. The company spokesperson says the cooking and cleaning sex robots can be available for purchase as soon as 2019.
In recent months, Sex Robots have become a very hot topic, both criticized and praised. Many think sex robots will have a negative impact on society and sex life, as people may choose sex robots over actual people.
With many people on Twitter making jokes about how sex robots cannot cook and clean, unfortunately for them, cleaning and cooking sex robots is already happening.
Jan Kunchai, an engineer at RealBotix says “I’ve dated around six women in my entire life and all six cheated on me, I’m six for six like Jordan. Anyways i thought it would be a good idea to create a robot that can cook and clean so i don’t have to get cheated on anymore, the next step would probably be a sex robot that can reproduce”.
Although a sex robot that can cook and clean efficiently seems like a very difficut task, company engineers say they can be here by 2019..

Kylie and her boyfriend, rapper Travis Scott, have welcomed their first child, a baby girl.
Kylie had never confirmed her pregnancy, which was first reported in September, and had stayed away from social media in the last few months.
The reality star/beauty and model made the announcement on Instagram minutes ago, finally putting an end to speculation over whether she was truly expecting a baby or not.
See Below;
It was revealed that Travis, Kylie’s mom Kris Jenner, sister Kim Kardashian and friend Jordyn Woods were seen at the hospital where the reality star was admitted this past week.
Brooke Crews -a woman from North Dakota, USA, who was sentenced to life behind bars for killing her pregnant neighbor so that she could keep the baby admitted she cut the infant out of the 22-year-old woman while she was still alive.
A judge on Friday handed Crews the life sentence without possibility for parole during a hearing that for the first time detailed the grisly death of Savanna LaFontaine-Greywind, of Fargo,NY Daily News reports.
Crews in August lured her downstairs neighbor into her apartment by requesting her help with a sewing project. Prosecutors said the pair argued and that Crews pushed LaFontaine-Greywind to ground, knocking her unconscious.
Then, using either a “utility knife or a blade,” Crews cut into LaFontaine-Greywind as she faded in and out of consciousness and removed the infant from her womb. The young mother eventually bled to death, prosecutors said.
Crews’ 32-year-old boyfriend, William Hoehn, told police he came home the night of August 19 to his girlfriend cleaning up blood in their bathroom.
“This is our baby,” she told him. “This is our family.”
Authorities found the newborn in the couple’s apartment and kayakers later discovered the body of LaFontaine-Greywind wrapped in plastic in a river.
Ashton Matheny, the baby’s father, said learning how his child was born and how his girlfriend died “tore him apart.” He attended the Friday hearing with his baby girl, who he named Haisley Jo.
LaFontaine-Greywind’s mother, Norberta Greywind, also addressed the court, explaining how their family had to move from Fargo following the brutal slaying.
Facebook is 14 today February 4th, and it’s founder, Mark Zuckerberg has shared the lessons he has learnt since starting the social networking site when he was 19 years old. He wrote;
“Today is Facebook’s 14th birthday.
It’s a moment to reflect on how far we’ve come from that dorm room at Harvard and how far we still have to go to bring the world closer together. And it’s a moment to think about what we need to do better.
Sometimes people ask what I’ve learned along the way. I was 19 when I started Facebook, and I didn’t know anything about building a company or global internet service. Over the years I’ve made almost every mistake you can imagine. I’ve made dozens of technical errors and bad deals. I’ve trusted the wrong people and I’ve put talented people in the wrong roles. I’ve missed important trends and I’ve been slow to others. I’ve launched product after product that failed.
The reason our community exists today is not because we avoided mistakes. It’s because we believe what we’re doing matters enough to keep trying to solve our greatest challenges — knowing full well that we’ll fail again and again, but that it’s the only way to make progress.
We are still early in this journey and we will keep working to improve. That focus has always been our strength, and that’s what this year is all about.
Bringing us closer together with our family and friends matters, and 14 years in I’m proud of what we do and grateful to be a part of something so meaningful.

Meanwhile, Prince Odi Okojie recently has revealed how he managed to keep his marriage for six years despite increasing rate of divorce in celebrity marriages.
The couple has been married for Six years with three children.
In an interview with New Telegraph, Prince Okogie disclosed that he avoids watching his wife’s movies, so his emotions won’t flare up from seeing her do what the script says.
He also attributed the success of his long term marriage to God, adding that they quarrel but tend to move on the next day.
In his words: “Prior to our marriage, I’d known my wife for three years; we actually met in 2008. We started living together in 2009 and we got married in 2011.
“It’s been God all the way, there’s no miracle or anything much, it’s just been God.
“With marriage break-ups and celebrity dramas, I think it depends on what one wants. For me, when I met my wife, I knew she was the one for me.
“The love, the affection and the tender care are all present, and although we might have some misunderstanding but when we sleep over it, we move on.
“My wife is my best friend, I hold her in high esteem and as a result of this, we don’t quarrel often. When we do, we learn from it and move to the next level.
“I have a very big house, my wife has a very big room and so do I, but she has never spent the night in her room for one day. Sometimes when I tease her and say ‘go to your room’, she tells me ‘this is our room not your room’ and so most times we are always together.
“I have never experienced anything like this, my marriage to her is so sweet and I’m enjoying it to the fullest.
“Like I said, I won’t give the kudos to man but to God Almighty who has kept us in happiness, in peace and in harmony.”

Recall yesterday, Anto refused to kiss K Brule, but went ahead to Kiss her pair, Lolu.. This of course infuriated K Brule, and he jumped off a fleet of stairs, thereby breaking his ankle…
It should be recalled that the housemates were paired in twos, and the rule of the pairing states that if one housemate gets evicted, his pair follows too, if a housemate gets in trouble his pair gets in trouble… and as such, Khloe also got a strike!
Now, Khloe and K Brule have been given one strike each, two more strikes, sees them disqualified from the game.
Khloe and K Brule as punishment, won’t be participating in tonight’s head of house task.

The prospect of Fatima Dangote’s wedding to Jamil Abubakar is delicious, like the luscious little apples that grow in the orchards of Winesburg.
The forthcoming union of the daughter of Africa’s richest billionaire, Aliko Dangote and the pilot son of former Inspector General (IG) of Police, MD Abubakar, promises to be the mother of all weddings.
It is a marriage made in heaven and signed to be actualised on earth, according to friends and family of the couple. Besides the apparent love and unwavering loyalty of the duo to each other, friends and family enthuse that there couldn’t be a greater match of equals and beloveds; from the moment Fatima’s courtship began by her beau, Jamil, families and friends of the duo embarked on fervent prayers, hoping that their attraction and love withstand the test of time.
The details are both in the telling and the seeing in respect of Fatima and Jamil’s budding love; the magnetism binds them resonates very loudly and exhilaratingly, arousing feelings of envy and desire among friends and family, wishing that they are blessed with something similar.
Fatima and Jamil have a lot working for them; both their fathers are filthy rich and eager to fulfil their ultimate yearnings and they are equally blessed with towering grace, humility and desire to unite in a lifetime of love and commitment.
Fatima Dangote
Thus as the wedding bells toll for the couple, their families are planning to spare no expense in giving them the treat of a grand wedding celebration.
According to the friends of the groom, about five presidents in the world and all the past presidents of Nigeria are billed to attend his daughter’s weddding. Likewise, world’s renowned billionaire philanthropist and Microsoft boss, Bill Gate, has confirmed his intent to attend the wedding in March at the prestigious Eko Hotel, Lagos.
Unlike the wedding of Dangote’s first daughter, Halima to Bello in Kano city few years ago, Halima’s forthcoming wedding promises to be star-studded.
However, being the daughter of a billionaire is enough fame already. When you are now the daughter of the richest black man in the world, the entire black race should literally worship the grounds that you tread.
Men should bow and women should genuflect when you as much as look in their direction. If you were ostentatious, unruly and wild a la Paris Hilton, the world would wave it off as a non-issue; it comes with the terrain, they would say just to cover up for your excesses. But Dangote’s daughters are not moulded like that.
They are unobtrusive and laidback, almost Spartan and deeply religious.
Beloved Nigerian rapper and songwriter, Olamide took to his social space to share pictures of his new hairstyle
The ‘Science student’ hitmaker shared the pictures on his instagram page and captioned it;

Founder and leader of the Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB, Chief Ralph Uwazurike, has described the Igbo as foolish.
The MASSOB founder insisted that Igbo may not become Nigeria’s president because they only fight for their pocket.
Speaking with Punch, Uwazurike recalled how Igbo was pushed aside after forming the former ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in 1999.
He insisted that anyone calling for the unity of Nigeria does not mean well for the already troubled nation.
His words, “Remember, it was the Igbo man that formed this PDP but they snatched it from him. Then, it was clear that an Igbo man would be the President of Nigeria. But in Jos, it was the Igbo who robbed themselves of that opportunity. The Igbo at that political event in Jos started speaking Hausa.
“The Igbo started sponsoring (Olusegun) Obasanjo against (Alex) Ekwueme; giving N100 million and all that to another tribe to emerge. Let me tell you, the Igbo tribe is the most foolish tribe I have ever seen in the world.
“While the Yoruba embraced unity, the Igbo man was the person speaking Hausa in Jos; the Igbo man was the one donating money against his own brother in Jos to another candidate.
“Is that a wise tribe? Then, who should I apologise to for using the word ‘foolish?’ Then what have we achieved from the PDP? For how many years have the Yoruba people used the PDP? Eight years! Now, when it was the turn of the South-East, they sent it to South-South.”

‘Pregnant’ Kylie Jenner could be expecting her first child with rapper Travis Scott in February, but it has been a total “Nightmare” and she feels like her life is falling apart, according to people close to her.
Sources tell Life & Style, that the 20-year-old reality TV star has been extremely uncomfortable since she got pregnant.

A different source explained, “Kylie feels fat and frumpy. She’s gained 45 to 50 pounds, and although she knows this is natural for someone who is pregnant, she doesn’t want the world to see her looking bigger. She feels huge compared to her sisters Kim, Kourtney, Kendall — and even Khloé.”
An insider also revealed that her Babydaddy and boyfriend, Travis Scott has tried to be supportive to the Lip Kit mogul,
“He really loves to party,” a friend tells Life & Style. “He’ll try to FaceTime Kylie at 3 a.m. and she’s already been sleeping for six hours. They’re on completely different paths.”
Though Kylie is set for life with a $50 million fortune, she’s “spending money like water,” the source shared. “She’s bored being stuck at home and is buying anything and everything because she has nothing else to do. A Nigerian fashion designer, Epaz, has revealed how her tribal marks almost drove her to committing suicide.
According to her, she was bullied during her school days and also had her first boyfriend who impregnated her at 21, all because she felt she was ugly.
Read her inspiring post below;
“Gone are these things; there had been cases where I wanted to commit suicide due to inhibition in educational pursuits due to my tribal marks.
When many people say they find my tribal marks repulsive. Even in my school days , they called me all sorts of names because of the severe tribal marks my dad put on my face.
I had my first boyfriend at age 21. (My baby father) all because I considered myself to be the ugliest girl in the world. Chai !!! One of the greatest thing that has happened to me was getting educated and my ability to communicate in fluent English language otherwise it would have been disastrous for me, so disastrous!!! Some people when they see me they assumed I am uneducated and start saying they pity me, I shake my head sadly then.
Some years ago all I felt was resentment towards my parents for giving my siblings and I such scars in the first place.
I can’t count the number of times I’ve been embarrassed by them.
At a time I have to lower the standard of the kind of husband i would have loved to marry but I have a daughter now and cared less about settling down.
Fuckboys available Abeg. I won’t let these deep horizontal marks on my face hindered me from getting anything I wanted.
I’m so over it now because I gat no time for pity party for myself again. I love how you all ginger me to be bolder and love myself just the way I am, tribal marks or no tribal marks.
Impacting lives and Money making is my new hobby now. Mi ó rayè gbègírí gbongbon”
Yesterday night, a young man, tagged as a “serial rapist” was caught in the University of Lagos (UNILAG).
According to viral reports circulating in the university, they claim the alleged rapist had molested several students in the school… one of which was a virgin before the gruesome incident.
So, yesterday, we all thought K Brule was nauseated, but then, we’ve confirmed that he jumped off a fleet of stairs in the bedroom area, and injured himself.
Thing is, K Brule, likes his fellow housemate, Anto, but then she refused to kiss him, and went on to Kiss Lolu, last night, for this, he jumped off a fleet of stairs in the bedroom area.
Apparently, many saw it as a deliberate attempt to self-harm himself, and this didn’t go down to well with some housemates.
What’s was more surprising was when fellow housemate, Bitto had an emotional breakdown over K-Brule’s drama, he was captured saying, “No matter what, I’ll never jump”.
Pastor Enoch Adeboye on Friday night led members of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) to pray against people shedding blood in Nigeria, their protectors as well as their sponsors at the church’s February Holy Ghost Service held at the Redemption Camp.
Members of the church in 198 countries participated in the programme through viewing centres. They prayed for the killers and their collaborators to be exposed and dealt with.
Pastor Adeboye.
The pastor will also hold special three-hour prayer session for Nigeria at the Redemption Camp of February 13.
Explaining why he had not personally commented on the widespread killings in the country despite calls by people for him to speak out, he said he belongs to the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) both of which have leaders who have spoken on the issues on behalf of their members, including himself.
But last night he decided to talk about the killings to members of the church in his capacity as their General Overseer. He chose to address the issues mathematically by reducing them to simultaneous equations to derive an answer.
Pastor Adeboye, a former university teacher, has a doctorate degree in mathematics. The equations, according to him, are:
· There are certain problems beyond man
· There is no problem beyond God
· Man can hide from his fellow man
· No man can hide from God
· Security agents can be compromised
· God cannot be compromised. His holiness is not negotiable and cannot be compromised.
· Man can sponsor evil
· God cannot sponsor evil
The answer to the equations solved simultaneously, he said, is just one answer; which is that “a prayer warrior is more effective than an activist”.
He described the correlation of answer to the tendency of enemies and some children of God to underrate the power of prayer. He then led the congregation in a series of prayers for the killers, people who connive with them and their sponsors to be exposed by God and dealt with.
Praying in a similar vein earlier, his wife, Folu Adeboye, who led congregational prayers for nations, pleaded for God to grant Nigeria victory over its challenges this month of February.
In his main sermon, which was a continuation of the church’s sermon series, titled “stronger than the enemy,” the General Overseer, likened the problems of individuals and nations to mountains, which can be moved by faith.
Recalling one of his prophecies for the year that “erstwhile stubborn mountains will move,” he called on the congregation to tackle their mountains head on.
He then highlighted the strategies to deal with mountains, leading the congregation in aggressive prayers to activate each of them at the service, which was largely devoted to prayers.
He advised strongly against tolerating one’s mountains because that makes the mountain remain; rather they should be confronted. “Don’t pretend there is no mountain, don’t ignore your problem, confront it,” he stressed.
He also advised against the practice of taking problems to fellow men always, instead of God. He cited the example of a barren woman who a pastor was avoiding, but had 5 children after crying out directly to God.
According to the General Overseer, “A woman who had destroyed her womb during an attempt to abort a pregnancy gave the testimony. She had messed around, become pregnant and, because she tried to hide it from everybody, she tried an abortion which went wrong.
“When she was rushed to hospital, the doctors decided the only way to save her life was to remove her womb, which they did. And of course, she knew the result of that action when she got married – no babies.
Later, she became born-again and heard that God can do anything. So she started going to a man of God (I won’t mention names) to say, “Please, pray for me. I need children.”
“After many prayer sessions, the problem remained the same, even as other barren women were getting pregnant. So the man of God asked her to tell her story, and when she confessed her womb had been removed, the pastor started avoiding her. During one of her visits, she saw the pastor sneaking out to avoid her.
“From then, she decided to cry out to God directly. Then one day God visited her. She had a dream, in which she was stark Unclad, with a man holding an animal skin walking towards her. She became afraid but she was rooted to the spot, shaking; she couldn’t run. And when the man got close to her, he wrapped the animal skin round her and disappeared. The woman woke up sweating but she knew that she had been given a new womb because her menstruation resumed.”
The second strategy, he advised, is to talk to the mountain with faith as Jesus admonished us to. “Engage your mountain in a conversation – tell it that between the two of you, one has to move, but it can’t be you because according the scriptures the Lord is always with you and you will not be moved; and He is your fortress so you cannot be shaken; and because you trust in the Lord you are as secure as Mount Zion.
Thirdly, he said, you need explain to the mountain that it is blocking your view, making it difficult to have a vision, then command it out of your way or even decree it to move.
However he said one has to live right with God to be able to issue decrees to problems, a reason he said, “I am crazy about the need to stay holy.”
In a testimony, he spoke about a tree in the middle of a major road in Lokoja, Kogi Sate, some years ago, which residents said could not be cut down for spiritual reasons. He said he took note of that and went ahead with the programme of the church. That night, he recalled, there was a rainstorm and by daybreak the tree was on its side, completely uprooted
Pastor Adeboye also advised that specific mountains should be identified in prayers and where they should be moved to be mentioned – cast it into the sea as in the example of Jesus.
He said when it is all done, one shouldn’t boast about it but should as a matter of urgency, return the glory to God.
After the prayers, he asked the pastors of the church to lay hands on everyone in the congregation to confirm the prayers and to ensure the mountains don’t return if people live right with God.
While that was going on, he went to a section of the altar to pray for people with special cases, he had asked to be brought during the Holy Ghost Services.
As is usual with the services, there were testimonies galore – of healing and even some members raising people from death with blessed handkerchiefs and anointing oil.
A 13-year-old girl allegedly raped by eight men, including an Imam, is said to be five months pregnant with twins, in Kubau Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
Head of Arridah Foundation, Hajiya Rabi Salisu, told the News Agency of Nigeria on Saturday that the case was brought to the organisation to get justice for the girl.
She said the foundation would mobilise support and follow up the case in court “until justice is done.’’
NAN learnt that the Imam is a neighbour of the girl’s parents.
Rabi said, “We have gotten the case, and I must say that in our years of advocacy during which we have treated over 400 cases of rape and child abuses, we have never come across this type of inhumanity.
“It is devastating for eight men to rape a 13-year-old. She is pregnant, yet she hasn’t even developed breasts at all and her parents are threatening to abort the twins to avert public embarrassment.
“The rapists, who are eight in number, may have even exposed her to HIV/AID or other sexually transmitted diseases as a result of the forced sex.
“We want justice for this girl and that is why we need the support of the Kaduna State government, all human right organisations and religious leaders to quickly intervene and bring succour to the poor child that is facing daily challenges.”
The father of the girl, Mu’azu Shittu, said he had already taken the case to the Upper Sharia Court in Ikara.
According to him, he had contemplated abortion but was advised against it.
“She is too young to be carrying twins and there is no single one among the rapists that is ready to take responsibility for the pregnancy,” he lamented.
The girl said the men usually gave her N500 and warned her not to tell anybody.
She said, “They usually called me and gave me N500 whenever I came back from school and went out hawking. They would then force me into it.
“They warned me not to tell my parents. They threatened to kill me if I told my parents; that is why I refused to tell my parents, I was so afraid.”
