The Police in Ogun have arrested one Noah Olaore for allegedly being in possession of 114 bags of weeds suspected to be Indian hemp.
The suspect was arrested on December 29, 2017, in front of the M.K.O Abiola Stadium, Abeokuta, the state capital. He took to his Facebook page to share photos of himself giving to the poor and some disabled people in his area in Edo state yesterday, 2nd of January.
According to him, he doesn’t believe in a pastor and as such he has paid his tithe to the poor as he celebrates his birthday.

Convener of the Free The Sheeple Movement and The Tithe Against Poverty (TAP) #TAPChallenge, has come out with yet another message…
Daddy Freeze is saying it is beyond wrong to give your pastor your “January Salary”, something that is tagged as “First fruit”.
Freeze took to his Instagram to announce to his followers to keeps tabs on his YouTube page, as he’d be teaching how and why the “First Fruit” is fraud.
A rather shocked Omotola Jalade dropped a reply to his post. She revealed this would be the very first time she’s heart of “First fruit.”
She wrote as a reply to Freeze; “Really? People drop their January salary? Hearing this for the first time.”
..and trust Freeze to respond; “omo sexy mi! Happy new year! All the time even people who are paid less than 30k a month”
A follower also shared an encounter of a friend of hers, in response to Omotola’s comment. The Follower wrote;
“Yes, they do. I met a proprietres of a school about two months ago. She gave her pastor all the monies she made in the first two weeks of January. Her pastor brazenly refused it. Why? Because, according to her pastor “first fruit means all the money one makes in the whole of January.” So, the shameless pastor asked her to take the money back, and come back at the end of the MONTH to give the offering. The lady said, and I quote: “I took back my money, and gave part of it to my relative who had earlier asked me for some money.” She said she has stopped giving the so-called “first fruit” since then.”
Others have since reacted to Freeze’s post about First Fruit;
dogomoni wrote; “Any Pastor that collects your January salary is from the devil and is only encouraging you to be a thief at work”
ttabdul wrote: “Then, that person collecting the first fruit (January salary) who is he going to give his own first fruit(all the fruit he has earned) or is that collector not following that doctrine that said he should rob people of their January salary? People are just heartless ,how will they survive when you collect their salary? I de vex seriously.”
Another commenter, erm_eye wrote; “It has to stop, January is one of the most difficult times of the yeah. Even if Jesus lives amongst us God, he would give in January and not collect. That falsehood has to stop.”
domeenio wrote: It’s really unfortunate. Churches should actually offer their members education loans, grants and subsidies in January knowing fully well that it’s the month of school fees and other expenses.
oyindollyp wrote: “Have once fell for it once, paid my January salary as first fruit when my rent was also due at the same time, I almost got evicted when I couldn’t pay the rent for like 6 months after, even though I had to borrow here and there to get it fixed that was when I Wise us not to give when you are not buoyant. Even when buoyant channel it to the needy not the greedy”
Some reactions to Omotola’s comment continues below;

Actually, both dresses were made by the same controversial fashion designer, Rikatobyme.
The Lagos State Government has sealed off a filling station, a hotel and an event centre belonging to a suspected Badoo cult kingpin, Alaka Abayomi Kamal.
Commissioner for Information and Strategy in the state, Mr Steve Ayorinde, confirmed this on Wednesday in a statement signed by him.
This comes less than two weeks after the Police declared Alaka wanted for his alleged connection with series of well-orchestrated killings and nefarious activities of the Badoo cult group in Ikorodu and Epe areas of the state.
The structures, situated along Ijebu-Ode-Itoikin Road in Sabo area of Ikorodu were sealed for violating the state’s Urban and Regional Planning Law of 2010.
The state government said the order sealing off the structures was in pursuant to Section 60 of the said law.
Meanwhile, the Commissioner of Police in the state, Mr Imohimi Edgal, had on Tuesday paraded a suspected Badoo kingpin arrested in Ikorodu.
The suspect was said to have confessed to the killings and took the police to their shrine in Imosan, a suburb of Ijebu-Ode in Ogun State, where the group’s chief herbalist, Fatai Adebayo, was arrested.
Adebayo is popularly known as Alese and is said to have specialised in administering oath on Badoo members before they go for any operation.
Reacting to the developments, Ayorinde said: “The Lagos State government is joining the Nigerian Police in asking the said Alaka to come out of hiding and submit himself to the law in his own interest.”
“The state government has also enjoined the police to offer the public a reward for any useful information on the owner of the Alaka filling station, hotel and event centre in Ikorodu,” he added.
The state government has reassured residents of their safety, noting that no stone would be left unturned in keeping the state safe.

Well, most times the things we see happen on Social media daily are apparently the reflex of what happens in the real world.
Popular relationship adviser, Joro Olumofin has shared a story of a particular man who is ready to be faithful to wife but is still tempted to have se*x with his side-chick.
According to him, His wife had just put to bed this December and she has stretch marks everywhere and added that he’s tempted to do sexing with his side chick one more time.
He also stated that even if he does not want to go for it – He’s already having erection when she sent him her nudes.
“Good morning bro Joro, sorry to wake you. I never thought I will ever write you ever. Please I need advise from you. You can also share but please hide my identity. Entering this year I decided not to have any sidechick and all. SO I cut all of them off.”
“Now this particular girl doesn’t want to let go. I want to hear from married men who are faithful how they do it. My wife put to bed in November I’m trying to be a responsible husband. I won’t lie when she sent me her burst, I have an erection. I thought of mounting her on the floor upon doggy style way.”
“She drinks pineapple so I can head her. The taste will be sugary. I’m so tempted. I didn’t reply her but I am too weak. Joro. I am weak. Can I just do it one Time? Nothing will happen? I’m safe I use condoms. My wife put to bed she has so much stretch marks and she’s not ready for sex.”
Few days ago, we brought you reports of how a baby was rescued from baby traffickers, and her pictures were widely shared on social media, so the mother of the baby can come get her baby.
Below is an update.. Apparently, the baby was sold by her step-father.
Read the update below;
The mother of the baby is a single mother who was abandoned by the baby’s father.
Another guy took her in and took care of her during her pregnancy with the intention of selling the baby at birth with or without the consent of the mother.
When the baby was finally born. The caretaker told the mother to sell the baby but she refused.
The guy made plans with his friends leaving in Umuahia to get a buyer.
The day of kidnap, he sent the baby’s mother to go and buy a recharge card for him. When the lady left , he took the baby and ran to Umuahia to meet with his friend for them to execute their plans.
Unluckily for them the buyer wanted a baby boy not a baby girl.
They were left with the baby. The guy in Umuahia called his girlfriend and hand the baby over to her to pretend to be the mother while they look for another buyer.
They spent a night in his aunty’s place. Meanwhile the baby cried all through the night as she was hungry, which raise suspicions. The Aunty began to question the “supposed” mother of the baby why she is not breastfeeding her.
After much interrogations the lady opened up that the baby wasn’t hers. The woman now ran to the police office to make entry.
That was how they were caught. All are in police custody. Justice must prevail.
Thank you all who showed concern and those who wanted to adopt her. For everyone looking for a child. God will bless you with one.
A bride, Heather Mosher, battling an aggressive type of breast cancer reportedly died just 18 hours after exchanging vows with her groom.
The deceased from Connecticut, was diagnosed last December with breast cancer, the same day her then-boyfriend, Dave Mosher, proposed to her on a horse-and-carriage ride.
35-year-old Dave Mosher, told ABC News of the proposal;
“I had planned to ask her on Dec. 23, 2016. That morning we had gone to the doctor after she had found a lump on her breast.”
A biopsy confirmed that Heather Mosher indeed had breast cancer, but Dave Mosher wasn’t deterred.
“Now more than ever, I needed for her to know that she’s not going to do this alone,” he recalled.
The couple had met at a swing dance group in Hartford, Connecticut, and quickly became friends before dating.
“When you’re with your great love … it’s like trying to separate your arm from your body, you can’t do it. You’re connected. She was my girl,” Dave Mosher added, choking up.
While enduring two rounds of chemotherapy and two surgeries, Heather and Dave Mosher planned their wedding. They were originally set to get married on Dec. 30 but Heather Mosher’s doctor suggested the couple wed “sooner rather than later.”
On December 22, the couple exchanged vows in front of family and friends inside St. Francis Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut, on Dec. 22.
Heather Mosher, who was on life support, lay in bed, wearing a wig, a wedding dress and jewelry. Heather Mosher’s friend, Christina Karas, who she met in the same swinging dance group four years ago, was one of her bridesmaids.
Karas, 36, told ABC News: “She was dying and it was clear while we were all there that these were the last moments of her life. She held on to stay alive for the wedding … a wedding to the man of her dreams.”
Dave Mosher noted, “Some of her last words were her vows.”
Heather’s family plan to hold a funeral for her on the day the couple had initially planned to marry, Dec. 30. Her husband said the coincidence was not intentional.
“It was just like surreal because I’m supposed to be exchanging vows to her and here I am saying goodbye,” Dave Mosher added.

Yesterday, 2nd of January, there was a National black out in the country, and Nigerians took to Social Media to air out their thoughts..
Now, The Federal Ministry of Power, Works and Housing FMPWH has issued a statement reacting to the National black out that happened yesterday night January 2nd.
In a statement released on social media, the Ministry blamed the blackout on a fire incident that occured at its Escravos Lagos Pipeline System yesterday January 2nd. Read the statement below
“FMPWH thanks you all for your unwavering support in 2017. Together, we’ll achieve more in 2018. Regrettably, after a sustained period of increasing production and distribution of power since September, the Nigerian Gas Processing and Transportation Company Ltd (NGPTC) has reported a fire incident on its Escravos Lagos Pipeline System on Tuesday, 2nd January, 2018.
The incident requires a shutdown of the pipeline supplying gas to Egbin 1,320MW; Olorunsogo NIPP 676MW, Olorunsogo 338MW, Omotosho NIPP 450MW, Omotosho 338 MW and Paras 60MW power stations.
The sudden loss of generation due to interruption in gas supply from these stations caused the national transmission grid to trip off around 20:20 on 2nd January 2018. The national transmission grid is owned and operated by the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN).
Most of Nigeria’s power generation is from thermal power stations that require gas for fuel. The gas is produced by oil and gas companies overseen by the Ministry of Petroleum Resources.
The gas is delivered to the power stations through pipelines owned and operated by Nigerian Gas Processing and Transportation Company Ltd (NGPTC), a subsidiary of Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC).
TCN and the generation companies are working to restore operation of the national grid. Once the national grid is restored output from the hydroelectric power stations and all other unaffected gas fired thermal power stations will be increased to the extent possible to minimize the impact of loss of generation from the affected power stations.
We urge members of the public to bear with us as we work to overcome this set back which will be temporary.
A 34-year-old suspected high priest of deadly ritualists sect, Badoo, Fatai Adebayo, popularly known as Alese has been arrested.
He was smoked out of his shrine located at 38, Ayegbami Quarters, Odogbolu LGA of Ogun state.
His capture was sequel to the confession of some arrested Badoo members who revealed to the Lagos Police Command that the shrine was their spiritual base for oaths taking and diabolic backing before the commencement of each of their gruesome operations.
Adebayo operated in a wooden kiosk situated in his family compound where he lives with his wife and mother.
The kiosks was ridden with varying fettish accessories including figurines, rocks, bottles of mixture, cowry-embedded apron, pictures of white men and women, black pots, goats, chickens among others.
Leading a team of security operatives, the Commissioner of Police, Edgal Imohimi said the discovery was part of the success made in nipping criminal groups in the bud.
He said the spearhead of the ritualist sect was also arrested over the weekend during a duel to stop his escape.
The drama involving a newly wed, a fashion designer, and a silent Mercy Aigbe is still trending.. Just incase you’re wondering what this is… let’s bring you up to speed.
It all started when a newly wed called out a Nigerian tailor/fashion designer, for giving her outfit to Actress, Mercy Aigbe for her birthday shoot, thus disappointing her on her wedding day.
Read Her Story;
This was too bad. On the 29th of December 2017 which happens to be a day to my wedding, a greedy designer decided to ruin my big day. I cried all day no stop.
I bought this lovely fabric from @bshani_bridalfbrics and asked her to deliver to this designer @rikaotobyme after I had concluded the style and price with @rikaotobyme I made a 50% payment to her as soon the fabric got to her.
Told her its my wedding reception dress she assured me it will be ready on 26th. on that 26th i chatted her up to ask for my dress she replied saying it was ready as u can see on the chat above, she also said she will send a pics, eventually now sent a video d next day which was 27th u can also see that on the chat above.
I sent the balance 50% to her on 28th when I had seen the dress and was satisfied, she couldn’t send that day cos all flights coming to Benin that day were cancelled. So we were now left with 29th a day to my wedding, I called her by 6am that morning and she told me d delivery Guy has gone to d park to send my dress that she will send the waybill details(sending details ) across shortly. I waited till 9am no words from her.
I started calling to ask for the waybill details she wasn’t taking my calls, atimes she even cut the calls. I sent several messages no response at 1pm I started crying cos the situation got beyond my control.
My hubby,friends and family requested for the number and also started calling her but she obviously decided not to take any calls again. Until 4pm when I was drained in tears she then called and was apologising that she didn’t know what to say to me that y she refuse taking calls, she continued saying the delivery guy she gave my dress to is no where to be found.
when she heard how I was crying she then suggested to give me one of her old dresses for me to use for the day, I had no choice cos I was desperate I then accepted it.i got d dress on my wedding morning.
I went on IG yesterdy only to see @realmercyaigbe wearing my dress with the same fabric I bought and she tagged same designer @rikaotobyme.how much did she pay u to disappoint a bride on her wedding day? U are heartlessly wicked and u will sure not get away with this @rikaotobyme
The Tailor of course reacted to the whole drama, and claimed it was a dispatch error.. She wrote;

The real owner of the dress, the newly wedded bride, has fired back at the tailor, she also shared a screenshot of a text message from the tailor where she said the dress was on her the way to her… The text message was dated 29th of December.
Reading your reply @rikaotobyme to the pain and embarrassment you deliberately caused my me for financial profit on the eve of and on my wedding day, I am convinced that you are indeed wicked. A wickedness that has consequences.
Firstly, in your response you claim there was a dispatch error. Was the error of dispatch the cause of the delivery agent’s number being “not reachable” as you claimed?
Secondly, you also claimed the “dispatch error” was too late to be rectified as the wrong dress was already on the way to Edo state. At what point was the “dispatch error” discovered since your staff Kate, dropped off the dress at Ojota at around 9pm for nightbus delivery?
Dress the tailor later sent to the bride.
Thirdly you claimed also that similarities in the dresses caused the “mixup”. If that was the case why did @realmercyaigbe on receipt of a dress that wasn’t hers still go ahead to wear it for her 40th birthday shoot and post on social media on the 31st of December ? Mind you, the dress you sent to me was torn and musty on delivery, not in any shape for a client how much more a celebrity. While that which conveniently landed with Mercy Aigbe, was a fabric i purchased myself from @bshani_bridalfabrics. Lastly in your response, you lied about apologizing to me. Since the 29th i have not heard a single word from you and there is not a chance in hell that what you called an apology on “public fora” or the chat above would suffice.
In all of this, it’s blatantly obvious from your statement you have refused to accept responsibility like a true professional should and sincerely apologize for your moment of indiscretion and weakness. Until then I am personally committed you face the full consequences of your actions and the pains you meted on me.

Because our God is God of continuity, our leader is carrying the unusual grace; if you don’t want to be disgraced, don’t hunt for the downfall of this government, don’t hunt for the failure of continuity, I have said my own.
“It is not him, it’s God through him. Look beyond him, and let’s continue to work together in unity.
“God told me expressly, years back, that he needed Ayo Fayose in Nigeria.

“But God said, ‘Leave him to me, he is in the hollow of my palm, l need him in Nigeria, it is not only Ekiti. He is just passing through Ekiti State.”

Saint West spent the last few days of 2017 in a hospital bed.
The two-year-old son of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West was admitted to the hospital on Thursday with pneumonia and was released on Saturday, just in time to ring in the New Year, according to TMZ.
Both Kardashian and West stayed by their toddler’s side over the two days, including sharing overnight duties, a source told the gossip site.
Saint is now at home and reportedly doing well, the source added.
“My precious baby boy is so strong!” Kardashian, 37, wrote in a Tuesday, January 2 Instagram post.
“After spending three nights in the hospital & seeing my baby get multiple iV’s and hooked up to oxygen machines, our end of year was challenging.
Pneumonia is scary. I just want to thank every nurse & doctor out there who works so hard around the clock. We are so grateful for you all! He’s home and all better. He’s so resilient. I’m sure he will say the ambulance ride was cool! My strong saint.”

Umar is among 16 suspected kidnappers who were arrested in Niger state.
They were accused of “terrorising” people along the Abuja-Kaduna road in Sabon Wuse in Tafa local government area of Niger state.
Addressing reporters at Sabon Wise on Tuesday, Jimoh Moshood, force spokesman, said items recovered from the suspects were five AK 47 rifles, nine AK 47 magazines, two cutlasses, one cell phone and 1,598 rounds of ammunition.
He said the arrest followed coordinated operations by the special tactical squad operating in the area.
The spokesman said that the gang leader confessed to killing at least 10 persons.
Moshood, who said that the suspects were arrested during the Yuletide, said it was a huge success for the police and Nigerians.
He said the suspects have all confessed to the various roles they played in the commission of the crime.
“The suspects will be arraigned in court after the completion of investigation,” he said.
He said the force had evolved a new security arrangement to fight and prevent crimes in the country.
