The Ebonyi state House of Assembly on Tuesday suspended its member representing Afikpo North East constituency in the Assembly, Mrs Maria Ude Nwachi aka Afikpo Chic, for alleged gross misconduct.
The motion for the suspension was moved by the Leader of the House, Hon. Joseph Nwobasi as Mrs. Nwachi was accused of allegedly posing as public photographer

This will be the second time she will be suspended by the House.
In 2016 she was suspended for sponsoring a protest by Afikpo youths against the Enugu Electricity Distribution Company, EEDC, for epileptic a services to the town.

So, there’s a trending debate on Social Media, and there have been divided opinions about the topic..
It all originated from a post where a lady shared a picture of a littered “kitchen sink”, and then urged ladies to do the “needful” if they one day meet their man’s kitchen that way.
The post reads; “If you’re a woman and walk into a mans house and see this, do something about it, if you want him to look at you different it don’t cost nothing and it will set you apart, I promise”.
It of course has turned into a trending debate, and some comments reads;
hillary_buggs: “It’s not my house …ur house ur plates! If m gonna wash it it’s because I want to ..not because it would set me apart !”
mjfoodnlove: See all am saying is dnt condition women and not condition men, if a man/woman wants neatness from their partner he/she should be able to keep a neat environs also. And if u are saying it’s the responsibility of the woman’s to wash dishes den I knw u r just a misogynist.
woshboss: This is actually disgusting. If am the woman……he better come wash the plates. What sort of rada rada dirty man is this except he has his reasons sha. Meanwhile….as a man, if woman like wash plates from Lagos to Kafachan, if we no like u, we no like you
manni_ocakes: Oh my gosh!!! If I see this in his house it’ll let me know he’s filthy or whatever. After all if he sees dirty dishes in my sink would he help me clean them??
oyin_bee: A male friend has done this for me before. I was ill and piled up plates used in buying food. He came to visit, saw my kitchen and cleared it up. I would do same for him or any close friend in a heartbeat.
queen______jackie: As a maid that you hired abi. I have gone to a guys house and met heaps of dishes, I washed all infact i cleaned the whole damn kitchen including the house severally, at that time he’ll tell you how much he appreciates you blah blah blah if his friends are around they’ll be shouting *our wife* anyhow but the irony is he still cheated on me with a girl that’s doesn’t know how to sweep. My point being if you like do all the chores in this world for him, if he wants to cheat….he will. Chores, sex, money and even love most times doesn’t keep a man that has made up his mind to cheat so poster leave matter for mama Mathias.
miss_talithamor: I am gonna call him out, call him dirty and unkept… Make him feel so uncomfortable next time I am coming over he better clean up that mess can’t marry a dirty dude…i can’t be keeping it together for a man who can’t wash his own dishes… Besides why the plates so many?.
mz_butch: Sometimes you’d wash and he would think you are desperate.
onyeka1759: lol not that too serious I can even yab my fellow guy and later help him wash ..can do so for a lady..but all the same will tell em biko try to be clean madam and oga.
A Nigerian lady has narrated how she bought a “classic bend down select” top for just N50, and how she’s been loving the top ever since.
Here’s what she wrote;
“T H R I F T S H O P P I N G”
“I was passing through ikeja underbridge at night with no plan of buying anything when I heard a woman shouting 50naira buy your top. Normal me would have just waka pass; like I’m too shy to bend down and select 50naira top.”
“I don’t know what happened that day; maybe because I’ve been following too much looking chic on a budget bloggers. I just bend down and selected. Viola! I got this ?for just 50naira.”
“Paired it on my forever21 skirt on Sunday and I was looking effortlessly chic. In fact I’ve paired it on too many outfits ??. If I didn’t tell you I thrifted it for 50naira; you wouldn’t even know.”
“So quick question: will you bend down and select 50naira, 50naira top looking peng like this?”
Stunning Nollywood actress, Mercy MacJoe has come a long way in the industry to be seen as a greenhorn anymore.
She may tell you she isn’t so proud of her first break out movie in the industry in 2013 that starred her and fellow actress, Amanda Ebeye, where she wore bra top and shorts throughout, but she’s certainly proud of where she is right now and definitely knows a thing or two when it comes to the pros and cons of the make-believe enclave.
In a recent chat with Potpourri, the actress who describes her person as “very private” bares her mind on several issues bordering on sex, relationship and romance.
For girls who love to take a tumble in the hay at the drop of a hat, the actress has a message for them, saying, sex shouldn’t be a spontaneous thing. “I think sex is very deep. Over time, I have come to realize that one shouldn’t just have it with anybody or everybody.
Some spiritual people will tell you that sex is more than the time you spend in making love. It is deep. People have to be careful,” she cautions.
On relationships, the actress believes that, they, in the limelight don’t have it easy as people often misjudge them and assume they live reckless lives on account of some roles they have played.
“If you are dating someone in the limelight, you need to be understanding. Relationship is beyond love and it requires a lot of understanding. If you understand that the lady is just playing the role, it will work that way,” she says.
Of course, she’s on top of her game and also endowed with the looks and she knows it and wouldn’t mince words about it.
“Every part of my body is sexy. I think I am naturally beautiful. I know I have nice curves and I am beautiful. When I look in the mirror all I see is a beautiful and sexy lady,” she purrs.
Kalahari Desert girl from Botswana, Lorraine Lionheart, who released a song in Nigeria titled ‘Keke Napep’, saying the commercial tricycle will make a good romantic gateway has explained why she flaunts her sexy hips and bum.
In an Instagram post, showing off her backside, she says, “I think if I didn’t flaunt it, the Lord would be very upset with me. And I am not an ungrateful child,” she writes.
In another post, flaunting another yet disarming picture, the singer said she never really knew she had a big bum until people started flooding her page with direct mails to comment on it.
“I like people who DM and say, “you have a big ass”. If I had time for pointless conversations I would probably reply with, “Oh, really? Well, I had no idea. Never noticed but thanks for pointing that out,” she says
A Nigerian Lady is currently on fire on social media after she tweeted that she’s not so cheap, that she’d allow some guy propose to her with a N20,000 ring.
She also revealed what she’d do, if her “boyfriend” proposes to her with a cheap ring – Fling the ring at his face.
The post has been met with mixed reactions on social media.
Congratulations are in order for a Europe based Nigerian big boy and socialite, Samuel Afolabi, who got married to his beautiful bride, Henna Luiza in style in Bucharest, Romania.
The man who hails from Lagos state is the owner and CEO of Sam Club which is said to be the first and only Night Club owned by a Nigerian in Romania..
Family, friends and colleagues graced the colorful and lively event.. Here are photos from the wedding ceremony.
So, the organizers of Big Brother Naija brought the season 2 housemates for a reunion show, and it’s been apparently, fun to watch.
So, far they’ve talked about their stay in the house, controversies, romance, bromance, enemity, and literally all that happened in the house… also not forgotten what they’ve been to so far in the house.
In today’s episode, Tuesday, TBoss reiterated yet again that she doesn’t roll with small boys that “can’t afford recharge cards,” as she’s got multiple suitors running after her, and not just ordinary suitors, but rich suitors with private jets.
She also made mention of spending the 25 million in 2 weeks.. She’s standing by all the controversial statements she made in the house.
TBoss also says she prefers to work for what she has ,in her words: “If it’s just about money, I’d sit in my house and wait for someone to bring it to me, because like I said, people with money hit on me, people who do have private jets hit on me, but I’m not about that life, that is why I struggled for myself to get this money, for myself.”
Bolatito Sowunmi, who played the role of Miss Pepeye in the comedy series “Papa Ajasco” for over 8 years has once again reiterated why she left the comedy series at a time she did.
In the interview with City People, the actress talked about her experience and why she left the role, she stated that she was in her comfort zone, not moving forward and challenging herself.
See excerpts below:
You played a major role in the comedy series, how was the experience like?
It was awesome and I appreciate every journey by playing the role of Miss Pepeye because it actually brought me to limelight. I didn’t know I have that much of a talent until I started playing Miss Pepeye because I had played some roles in my secondary school drama club and all but as at then.
I was studying law so I didn’t see myself as a real actor. Though I know I had something inside of me but when I started playing Miss Pepeye, I discovered that oh, I am a package and I have so much to give the world so Miss Pepeye role actually opened my eyes to see a lot of things I have inside of me. It was really a wonderful time there.
Was it that you left the role or your time ended as Miss Pepeye in the sitcom?
There is no time ending, no stipulated time you can play the role so it is not as if I was in a contract that has a duration. As long as I am available to play the role, I play it on other interviews that I have granted I said ther reason why I had to leave, I think I played the role for over 8 years. It is more about me I didn’t have any problem with the people, I just woke up one day and I was like I think you are in your comfort zone bola you need to move forward as long you are here and you know that you already have a fixed role.
I was not moving forward, I was not challenging myself, the role does not even challenge me any more. I can play Pepeye even in my sleep, so I needed something that will really really challenge me and I needed to go into the Nollywood industry. It was not as if I had a contract stopping me from going into the industry fully while I am playing Pepeye but it is more about me.
I noticed playing the role kind of did not push me forward to do other things so I told myself okay the only way you can move is to leave the good in your hand so as to get the best. So I decided to drop it besides let me give another person the opportunity to pay the role. I have been playing it for a long time now and if you remove 8 years from my age. I think I have put in a lot in it.
There is somebody out there too that needs the chance so I should not go and be the godmother of Miss Pepeye for ever now (laughs) so that is basically what actually happened. When I decided, I called my boss and explained to him, apart from that I was travelling a lot at that time so I was like it will be very incompetent when the call me for location and I am not available and I didn’t want to be like that. I explained to him and he was happy about it and okay with it, I don’t know about happy but I know he was okay with it and there was a consensus and I left.
What have you been up to since you left the popular role?
Okay a lot have been going on, I have actually been into Nollywood proper, been working, I have some films that I have featured in and a lot of them will be coming out this 2018. So watch out (laughs). I have been grooming myself for the bigger screen and then it’s basically Nollywood. I am also an entrepreneur I have other things I do but the actual thing about me is acting and that is what I am doing.

Banky W in a post via his Instagram has responded to several comments directed at him, criticizing him about the “size” of his wedding…He is still maintaining his stance that he doesn’t like “elaborate” wedding, despite spending millions on his wedding!
Some folks accused him of having an “unnecessarily large wedding” to his actress wife, Adesua Etomi.
The wedding between Banky and Adesua went on for a number of days and across a number of countries for the traditional ceremony, white wedding and thanksgiving. The ceremony has also resulted in a TV documentary series, and of recent, they had an elaborate thanksgiving in London.
Recall last year, Banky had however in a rant via snapchat, said he wouldn’t have a large wedding. He wrote; “Small weddings as the besssst… if/when I do get married, no way I’m doing that huge Lagos wedding move. Never.”
In a new rant posted on his Instagram he says: “I have learnt to grow thick skin and almost always ignore the online chatter, but every once in a while, I feel the need to respond. So here are my 2 cents.”
Read Below;
Meanwhile, the singer spoke about how he got into the relationship with his now wife, Adesua.
On Banky W’s part, he revealed that they had been in the relationship since 2015, adding that they started dating after he slid into Adesua’s Dm on Twitter.
According to him, he never planned to date or marry anyone from the entertainment industry but got star struck after he realised Adesua was spiritually filled.
He said, “I met Adesua in 2015 and after inquiring about her from her manager, Isioma, i went online to search for her and found her social media handles.
“I looked her up online and I liked what I saw. I googled her, stalked her on the gram and a day or two later, I slid into her DM like the real man that I am.
“I had two defining moments with Adesua. One was before we started speaking. It was actually when I was stalking her and I saw a video of her and her childhood friends singing worship songs and I felt like this is really refreshing to find someone in our line of work that would readily show this part of them.
“The second part when I knew was when we took a private trip somewhere and it was the first time that she danced with me and at this point, I already knew she was a spiritual girl and a praying woman. But if i can confess, I was a little bit worried that when it comes to the turnups and the fun, I wasnt sure if she would be free like that and the very first time she danced with me, they were playing Rihanna’s ”Work” and she danced with me. Ladies and Gentlemen, once you have the spiritual and physical, you close shop, you move.
”I wasn’t specifically looking for an entertainer as a wife because of what I presumed, but she took me off the balance.
“I am glad i married Adesua because she understands my business and the pressure that comes with it.
Speaking on BBN host, Ebuka’s ‘Agbada’ which ‘broke’ the internet on his traditional wedding, Banky said he asked Ebuka if his Agbada was finer than his, and he replied that, ”it might be”

The stories of riches are dreamy and fascinating, so is of London based Sikh businessman Sardar Reuben Singh, who owned a fleet of Royals Royces and matched them with his turban color.
He started out young and exhaled well in his business before becoming bankrupt in 2007.
Read his story below;
Sikhs and royalty go hand in hand, the legends of their exemplary tales are.mesmerising enough to leave you cursing your daily 9-5 jobs.
One such inspirational story is of a.London based Indan businessman.Sardar Reuben Singh who owned a set of.the famous Rolls Royce matching his turban colour. Legend had it that he challenged an Englishmen who made fun of his turban and told him that he will match all 7 days of the week at work in a Rolls Royce matched with his turban colour. A legendary classic car freak that he was, Singh brought in a host of Rolls Royce and matched them with his turban colour gracefully.
While we keep cribbing about not being able to match our Tees and jackets with same colour shoes, Reuben Singh earned enough on his own to build an empire which saw him amass big fortunes.
However, it was good only till it lasted as he was declared bankrupt in 2007 after his business fell unprecedently. Termed as the British Bill Gates for his young endeavours as an entrepreneur, Singh accumulated huge wealth with his own ventures and never asked for a share in his father’s already established business. He founded a fashion chain: Miss Attitude, which became widely popular in the 90s Britain.
He started out by working over 20 hours in his first ‘Miss Attitude’ store at the age of 17. With the hunger to build an empire for him, he kept striving for more and achieved a lot before being forced to sell out his debt-laden business for a shocking £1 (approx Rs 80) to American financier Gary Klesch.
The once abounding media went all gun blazing on Singh as he suffered huge losses and couldn’t pay back loans of over 11million pounds (approx Rs 10 crores).
The media also alleged that Singh took the shelter of favoured articles and columns to establish him as an influential business figure. However, the Rolls Royce owner defended himself and floored the rumours suggesting that they are only jealousy based and made to hurt his reputation.
Talking about the elite Rolls Royce cars, the brand in itself is a huge name and is famous for rejecting customers who don’t fit in their criteria of being reputed enough to carry a Royce key. Some big Bollywood names who own one of the perfectly crafted beauties are Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar and Priyanka Chopra. But certainly, Singh’s impressive numbers can put to shame any other Rolls Royce owner.
Though now the elite brand has a number of owners in India, to own a Riyce during the early 2000s was in itself a big feat which Sardar Reuben Singh aced perfectly.
Earlier today, Daddy Freeze’s fiancee, Benedicta had a chat with LIB, and she revealed she filed for divorce from her ex-husband, because he is gay, adding that they had sex just 11 times in 10 years.
I filed for a divorce from him because of his sexual perversion and there’s a point where you get to as a human being when you realise that something or what is your aim is never going to work.
Because when I signed a contract to marry him, I believed I was marrying a man that shared the same type of sexuality with me.
Don’t get me wrong, I do not have any issues with people that have different sexual orientation but when you come and say you want to get into a marriage contract with someone, you both have to share the same sexual orientation.
So when you get into that marriage and find out it wasn’t what you bargained for, it’s like you were tricked into the marriage. The marriage is a sham.
For example, we got married in 2002, I filed for a divorce 2012. For the period of 10-years that we were married, we actually had sexual intercourse just 11 times in 10 years. He never let me sleep in his room, I have to stay in my own room.
He would only come to see me when he thinks we should make a baby.
Way into the marriage, I caught him red-handed in gay sex. I walked into him in our living room, at about 1:30, 1:40am with a guy I didn’t really know. But he obviously walked in with that person at that time of the night, and I walked into them in our living.
I can tell you it was a struggle. You are living in a society where as a woman you have to do everything you can to preserve your marriage. You can come out of it, you just have to pray, God can change things.
There are certain things that we need to know when God is talking to you. It’s a little bit emotional for me because there are a lot of women out there that have gone through what I went through and they can’t come out.
I’m sorry, but there are a lot of reasons I never wanted to do an interview. The pain that I went through is real and it can only take a lifetime to forget.
Uche Maduagwu has reacted to the interview, and in a post he made on Instagram, he wrote;
Uche Maduagwu
“How can you be a “fiancee” to a Man whose Divorce case is still in Court? Is this a Joke? And you condemn Tithe? This is a blatant Shame & an irreparable disgrace to the institution of marriage and Church! Omg, this absurdity and nonsensical behavior has to stop. Is there no shame again in some people’s destiny? Let’s get the fact right, if a mans divorce case is still in court, it means in clear terms that he is still legally, i repeat, LEGALLY married to his wife, until the court says otherwise… Right? So how on earth, can such a person now be referring to himself as “a betrothed man” to another woman? From which planet?
“Please to the lawyers in the house, where in the LAW is this practice of folly permitted? This is the height of spiritual malady. Are these the kind of people that we allow to openly criticize our Pastors and tithing? Are these the shameless set of people we should be debating our christian values with?
This is an unmerited shame and a slap on the face. When did we become this morally deficient that we now allow individuals who desecrate and mess up the holy institution of marriage without regards, to shamelessly stand before us to ridicule our religion, and even raising questions about our spiritual dogma, and shared beliefs?
He had earlier blasted Freeze on Tithing saying: “Your Medulla Oblongata is too shallow and Tight to comprehend tithing… @daddyfreeze Finally brethren, i think I’ve been able to unravel why this self acclaimed “leader” finds it extremely difficult to comprehend Tithing even when its clearly stipulated in Malachi 3:10?
I think the lower or hindmost part of his brain is exceedingly too shallow to absorbing the spiritual efficacy of tithing in modern day Christianity, his shallow mind is still entangled subconsciously in the fabrics of logic and reason, which is never enough in the interpretation of spiritual and ecclesiastical dogma, so i think now we can understand where is childish bigotry is emanating from.
“@daddyfreeze Its obvious you always shy away from superior argument especially when it involves me because you know your flamboyant ignorance is relatively too broke and can’t afford rubbing shoulders with my coat of many wisdom. Listen, Tithing is not a superficial religious doctrine that is proclaimed as true without proof, its scriptural, it would be an act of spiritual recklessness for you to ignore Malachi 3:10 while asking people for other verses, you can’t separate the Old testament from the new, the bible is one. Tithing is not by force, so stop drinking paracetamol on someone else headache.”

Few days back, wife to Legendary footballer, Kanu, Amara Kanu called out her husband’s junior brother, Ogbonna and accused him of “using” her husband, and trying to sabotage her family.
In the rant she made on Ogbonna’s Instagram page, she wrote; “You are a coward and liar. That’s my sons ticket. He was supposed to follow his dad to the Leeds game today but no. You have never allowed Kanu to be in peace with his family. You tried that with me all these years thinking I will die and now you want to come near my children. You can’t. You won’t. Oloshi oloriburuku. Borrow pose. @ogbobekee1, don’t mess with my children’s things or their dad.”

The tweet reads; “Imagine a Nigerian Christian who has been jobless for 4 years rejecting a job offer that pays more than 500k from British American Tobacco/Nigerian breweries because smoking/drinking is a sin.” Daddy Freeze reacts to man who rejected a 500k job from Nigerian breweries”

Below is Freeze’s reaction: “Drinking alcohol is NOT a sin! Jesus drank alcohol and produced ‘wine’ which is alcoholic…. let’s remember that Jesus was accused of being a drunkard… you can’t be accused of being a drunkard if you drink grape juice. – The disciples were also accused of acting drunk on ‘new wine’ in Acts2 if wine wasn’t alcoholic, why were the disciples accused of being drunk on it?? – Cigarettes on the other hand, although not expressly mentioned in the Bible, can be a source of ‘moral’ concern, especially because of the high number of deaths attributed to them each year. – It is however not the job of your pastor to decide your choice of employment, let the Holy Spirit lead you! ~FRZ – ◄ Acts 2:13 ►
New International Version *************************** Some, however, made fun of them and said, “They have had too much wine.”
– English Standard Version *************************** But others mocking said, “They are filled with new wine.” – Berean Study Bible

In an exclusive and explosive interview with GoldMyneTV, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Ogunwusi Enitan Adeyeye, Ojaja II, the Ooni of Ife has revealed some shocking truths about Christianity and it’s origin.
According to the great Monarch, Churches were not formed by foreigners but by the black man himself, however, the foreigners tried to steal the legacies of the black man by making him believe everything came from them.
The Monarch revealed that the Yorubas were the first descendants of ‘Olodumare’.(God) who created man in his image.
He further revealed that the first set of humans, Adam and Eve were black and created in the garden of ‘Edena’ known as the garden of Eden. “Edena is right here in Ile Ife and I will reveal everything to you when the time comes” Ooni said.
Going further, the 43 year old powerful king stated categorically to GoldMyneTV that even Noah’s ark is sitting peacefully in Ile Ife where it was built thousands of years ago.
“We have allowed the white man steal our legacy. There is power in our land because we were created first by Olodumare!” He exploded.
“The Church started here and not from the whites” Ooni added, revealing more secrets about the origin of the church!

Nude photo model, Ama Richest, says if she ever falls victim to rape, she would have no one but herself to blame.
There was a frenzy on social media earlier last week with pictures of the model, with colourful inscriptions detailing the issues that dominated the headlines few weeks back, on her bare body.
The pictures, taken by a photographer by name Kwesi Nikon, who describes himself as a nudist, stirred a lot of conversations on social media.
As some expressed horror over the images, others admired it simply as art.
Ama Richest, however, believes that if ever her nude pictures cause any man to commit the crime of rape, “well I’m going to blame myself,” she admitted.
She, however, added that “there is no way someone is going to rape me because I take very good care of myself.”
The model, who also owns and operates a pub, told Ady Dosty on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM that, despite the attempts to ridicule her, she is not ready to give up her career as a nude model.
She says she “will do more”.
According to her, it is the only job she knows, and she admits the income is good.
Daddy Freeze’s fiancee, Benedicta Elechi has in an exclusive interview with LIB, revealed that she filed for a divorce from her ex-husband because he was in a gay relationship & added that they had sex just 11 times in ten years.
Benedicta in the Interview, explained all that she went through in her marriage to the executive general manager of Human Resource at Total E&P Nigeria Limited, Mr. Paul Odekina.
The C.E.O of TasteBudz Real Naija Cooking and Dictachi Foods Nigeria Ltd, who stopped by to talk about her food business, spoke on her failed marriage which produced three children.
Read an excerpt from the interview below…
LIB: When asked why she filed a divorce from her ex-husband, Mr. Paul Odekina of Total E&P.
Benedicta: I filed for a divorce from him because of his sexual perversion and there’s a point where you get to as a human being when you realise that something or what is your aim is never going to work.
LIB: Did you talk to your family or anybody about it?
Benedicta: When you feel that marriage is something both parties have to work on, You don’t want to bring a third party into it, so you can give him some time to change and pray about it.
And this is him begging you constantly, don’t leave me. If you do that am going to kill myself. I will commit suicide, I don’t want you to tell my parents or your parents about it. I promise you I’m going to change.
You would desperately believe that this person is going to change because you want your marriage to work, and you just find that the years are going by, you are in it, you can’t come out.
Who do you really want to tell? It’s a stigma and then you have kids, you don’t want them to be laughed at in school.
LIB: But do have any evidence to back up your claims he was in a gay relationship while you were married to him?
Benedicta: There were some text messages I saw on his phone which he sent to a man he actually brought home for dinner I made for them.
When I saw the text messages on his phone, I was livid. I had to confront him with it. You can’t bring someone to the house and tell me he’s a guest that I should entertain him, and this is actually what you do, this is the kind of relationship you have with this person.
Why are you punishing me, and why are you doing this to me. If you know this marriage is a sham, then let me go.
When I saw the text I had to wake up from the couch. I confronted him and he went all crazy on me. He said I have no right to pick up his phone. I told him I had no airtime on my phone and wanted to make a call with his. He said I have no right to go through his phone.
I said to him, is this what you really do, you would bring somebody to the house, for me to feed for dinner and this is it. You are in a sexual relationship with this guy.”
Meanwhile, OAP Freeze and Benedicta who have been together for several years have a son together.
