Y’all remember this woman who claims she is Duncan Mighty’s sister and was reportedly caught stealing at a mall in Port Harcourt?…
Duncan Mighty.
A Facebook user named Ofon Le’cheery Francis, shared the photos with the below caption:
“A woman alleged to be the sister of Duncan mighty the popular musician was caught today in our shop. She stole several goods from the mall.
She confirmed she is Duncan mighty’s eldest sister”, she wrote
Well, the self-acclaimed Port Harcourt 1st Son, Duncan Mighty has now reacted to this viral report.
He has now come out to defend his sister, claiming she has had mental health challenge for over a year.
The popular singer, who said his sister was receiving care for her mental illness but ran away a week before the theft allegation made blog headlines, accused his detractors of trying to tarnish his image with the story.
He wrote:
“Say no to fake news… @instablog9ja U are too small to distract my success… curse be unto u… pls rebroadcast”
Nigerian singer, Davido’s second daughter, Hailey Veronica Adeleke is growing so fast and we’re more than loving every bit of watching the toddler grow!
Her mum, Amanda shared these lovely new photos of the infant and boy are they adorable! The youngster looks as cute as can possibly be as she’s all smiles in the photos.
A Nigerian London-based presenter, Chidera, who proudly shows off her apparently saggy boobs on social media, and gives tips on how to style saggy boobs, has shared an inspiring post about saggy boobs.
She shared the above photo and wrote;
“I created the hashtag #SAGGYBOOBSMATTER because women are shamed when their bodies don’t appease the male gaze. Saggy boobs are under represented. Being under represented makes you feel alien to society. This fosters insecurities in people who don’t have the mental strength to see value in themselves beyond other people’s standards.
Responding to #SAGGYBOOBSMATTER with ‘all boobs matter’ is absurd, as this erases and silences the issue at hand here. If all boobs mattered, all boobs would be equally represented.”
Looks like we just might not be hearing anymore from Nigerian cross dresser, Bobrisky’s popular gateman, Jacurb as he’s engaged in a fall out with his boss.
According to the transvestite, his gateman tried to scam him of N60k after he claimed that he needed to take care of his sick father.
Well, Bobrisky discovered that his situation was faux after discovering that rather than Jacurb visiting his sick father, he was with his friends in Lagos.
This seems to be the end of Nigeria’s popular gateman, who brought a smile to our faces for a while.
We sure will miss you, Jacuurrrbb… Bobrisky wrote:

Aggrieved members of the public who have any complaint in the past or present of violation of their rights by any SARS personnel anywhere in the country are to report through any of the following channels for investigation and further actions.
A dearth of experts in cybersecurity and technology is leaving Nigeria vulnerable to cybercrimes, warns the Department for State Security Service (DSS).
DSS says internet fraud is more prevalent in the south west, especially Lagos, Ogun and Oyo.
Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) is considered to have the highest concentration of cyber criminals and in the country.
Deputy-Director of the DSS in-charge of Security in Anambra state, Mr.Yekini Ishola, made the disclosure while presenting a paper on cyber crimes and the way out at a two-day annual security seminar organised by the Security Department of Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, tagged “Developing Technological Strategy Towards Crime Reduction In Tertiary Institution.”
He said cyber crimes were not committed by an individual, but a network of criminal activities perpetrated by syndicates using what he referred to as identity theft, hacking, stocking, malicious software and other dubious means to gain access into personal information and account details.
“As a result of dearth of hitech cyber security apparatus in the country, it could be rather difficult to fight cyber crimes to a standstill. Collective responsibility is therefore required to track cyber fraudsters and their cronies,” he stressed.
Identifying investigation and intelligence gathering as ways perpetrators of cyber crimes could be nailed, the security expert however cautioned the public to desist from disclosing sensitive personal information like Bank Verification Numbers, ATM pin numbers, passwords and phone numbers to unknown persons.
Toyin Lawani has finally spoken up, and she’s raised an alarm about a possible threat to her life, and she’s traced it to Social Media star, Bobrisky.
Toyin Lawani
On Saturday, Toyin received series of messages from a close ally warning of a possible attack orchestrated by Bobrisky. The ally who had gotten wind of the planned attack while Bobrisky hatched the plan, urged Ms Lawani to make immediate arrangements to protect herself and her children.
Ms Lawani who has reached out to the appropriate security agencies to investigate the alleged assassination plot, wondered how things could have degenerated so badly and narrated her first encounter with Bobrisky when he came to her for help.
“Bobrisky came to Tiannah’s Empire as a customer sometime in 2015 and pleaded with my attendants that he wanted to meet me as he needed some remedy for his bad skin. After administering treatment on the skin and was cured of his skin irritations, he testified that people would not stop asking about where and how he got his skin treated. He then told me he was a student at University of Lagos (UNILAG) and would love to market Tiannah’s Glow natural products. As he was a living testimony, I began by giving him some of the products and allowed him earn 40 percent on the products he sold. I also recommended a full body polish via Tiannah’s spa which helped to treat his skin infections and cleared his dark knuckles. I also advised him on how to take care of his body odour as my clients started complaining and would usually have to spray air fresheners every time he stepped into the fashion floor at the Empire. He took offence that I advised him about his body odour but the truth was that it was really bad and caused us a lot of embarrassment at some events including a top society wedding he forced himself to attend with me,” Ms Lawani said.
Bobrisky.
The Tiannahs Empire CEO further explained that as a non-judgmental person, she initially opened her doors to Idris (as he was then simply known) because he appeared relatively stable, only unusual.
He was not cross-dressing at the time but wore makeup, fixed lashes and nails. However, when she realised it was bad exposure for her son; her kid started begging to wear makeup and heels, she told Idris to desist from wearing makeup to her office; a request that angered him.
“He worked with me for only about two months but even in that time period, he caused a lot of harm than good… He was also manipulative and was always trying to cause problems between me and my staff or friends.
On one occasion, we went out together and there were complaints about his appearance which I told him about. I subsequently received a text message from an unknown number expressing admiration for Idris and his eyelashes, also asking me to introduce them. I suspected he sent the message because he spelt ‘lashes’ as ‘latches’ having seen him make the same mistake several times publicly so I confronted him.
He initially denied it but subsequently admitted and apologised following which I banned him from entering my Empire again. At that point, I realised I needed to put him at arm’s length. It also coincided with the time a lady came to my store to allege that Idris claimed to be the one mixing my beauty products for me.
It was a ridiculous claim because my mother started the business over twenty (20) years ago and it has grown beyond the phase of mixing products with hands. We have machines doing all of that in our factory,” she said
Concerning claims made by Bobrisky that Ms Lawani swindled him of the sum of N250,000 he allegedly paid for the purchase of souvenirs for his birthday, the stylist clarified that Bobrisky made a deposit of N150,000 but failed to pay the balance of N100,000 as agreed which initially prevented her from placing the order for the items and that the delayed balance she made with her money caused a corresponding delay in the shipment of the items and he couldn’t balance her money on time, which made the Tiannah’s Empire CEO decide to withhold the goods to him and suspend the plan to sell the items to him.
“He was owing my company almost N200,000 around the time after repeatedly buying clothes on credit and I informed him that I would use the money he paid towards the purchase of the speakers as his balance which would leave him with a balance of N65,000 and I gave him a cheque for that amount,” Ms Lawani said.
It is instructive to note that shortly after Bobrisky was given the cheque, he was sternly warned by the police to desist from visiting Tiannah’s Empire or going near Ms Lawani following complaints about the lies and negative stories he was peddling about the Tiannah brand.
He was at the time compelled to delete Ms Lawani’s pictures and videos on his social media pages which he had been using to create a false impression that he was still engaged by the Empire thereby obtaining payments from unsuspecting clients for Tiannah products and supplying inferior products from a certain Mama Tega after which he blocked the clients.
When Ms Lawani got wind of Bobrisky’s many attempts at passing off fake beauty products as Tiannah beauty products, she again reached out to Bobrisky to desist from the act but his next action was most baffling. Narrating the experience, Ms Lawani said:
“Few days after I issued him a warning, Idris came to Tiannah’s Empire with a black polythene bag and the security guards prevented his entry. I went downstairs to ask what he wanted and he said he had come to apologise for his misdeeds. He handed me the polythene bag and when I opened it, I saw white clothes and a guinea fowl inside.
I threw the bag on the floor and asked one of my employees, Dayo, to burn it while also warning Idris to never again visit me with such gifts. I collapsed the next day and started bleeding heavily following which I was rushed to Ave Maria Hospital. I was informed the incident was linked to pre-existing concerns with fibroid but I believe it was caused by the diabolical items Idris brought as a supposed gift.
I had a surgery and remained in the hospital for two months before I was discharged. As soon as I returned to work, Idris showed up at the Empire, saying he heard I was ill but that he came for cash as the bank did not pay him because they could not reach me to confirm the cheque while I was hospitalised. I took the cheque from him and gave him cash then bid him bye,” she said.
A few months after Bobrisky received the cheque and was told to stay off the Tiannah’s Empire premises, an aggrieved woman arrived with policemen one afternoon, claiming a Tiannah cream had ruined her skin.
It was difficult to reconcile her claims with the praises generally heaped on Tiannah’s glow natural products for its positive effects on both dark and light skin ranges as she had horrible stretch marks as well as a burnt face, knees and knuckles. Upon examining the products which the woman said Bobrisky had sold to her claiming they were from Tiannah’s Empire, it was discovered that they were fake products.
In a related incident, another lady sent a message on Instagram threatening to pull down Tiannah’s Empire after buying fake products from Bobrisky which badly affected her skin and which Bobrisky had falsely claimed were from Tiannah’s Empire. Ms Lawani contacted him and warned that he could be arrested for damaging her business reputation through his fraudulent activities but he replied with threats and called her kids bastards.
Another spurious claim Bobrisky made on social media, which we are constrained to respond to prevent lies from wearing a toga of truth, is that he paid N26,000 for Ms Lawani’s meal because she supposedly could not afford to buy herself a meal. The claim is not only untrue and ridiculous but a wicked manipulation of events by an ingrate.
Ms Lawani has over the years empowered a lot of individuals, providing them food and shelter while also helping many young entrants into the entertainment industry find their feet and attaining success.
The truth is that Bobrisky forced himself into a group of guests Ms Lawani was taking to lunch on a particular afternoon. Ms Lawani directed her personal assistant (PA) to pay for the meals but the latter however only realised that he had forgotten the debit card with which payment was to be made, at the point of making payment.
Idris volunteered to help out but the moment they returned to Tiannah’s Empire, a cash withdrawal was made at a nearby ATM and Bobrisky’s money returned to him that very night. Bank statements reflecting the various transactions mentioned were printed and shown to the police when a complaint was made against Bobrisky in November.
“I reached out to Idris to reprimand him but he only responded with threats. I initially dismissed the threats but I had to eventually report to the police when I noticed strange cars trailing my kids and I on different occasions. He has also been trying to pull down my brand, sending messages to my clients that I sell substandard materials to them or that I intend to have affairs with their spouses. He also falsely claimed that I was not paying my staff, of which I have almost 100 members of staff working for me, who I also support in many ways such as sending their kids to school and starting businesses for them. None of my workers can honestly claim I owe them salaries, so I really had no choice but to report Idris to the police,” Ms Lawani said.
It would appear that the turn of events between Bobrisky and Ms Lawani reflects the extent to which ungrateful individuals will go in setting back their benefactors especially with the help of unprofessional bloggers who fail to clarify statements made by such characters as Bobrisky before brandishing them as truth.
Ms Lawani has done nothing to Bobrisky but be of help to him, accepting him at a time when he most needed validation and support. He has recently claimed to have benefitted nothing from Ms Lawani but there is a video clip of him profusely thanking the Tiannah CEO for transforming his looks and helping him attain a better skin.
It is most shocking to see Bobrisky who has benefitted from Ms Lawani’s generosity and compassion turn around to persistently attack her and her businesses. His persistent defamation of her character with false claims of fraud recently led to the loss of an endorsement deal and the cancellation of a property transaction.
Ms Lawani as a hardworking woman and mother who has built her businesses with a record of integrity for over 20 years has tried to avoid joining issues with Bobrisky but his persistent attacks can no longer be left unaddressed in the face of baseless and uncharitable comparisons now being made by some segments of the media.
It is an indisputable fact that Ms Lawani is an accomplished business woman and Bobrisky can only dream of achieving some proportion of her success if he suspends his baseless attacks and actually tries to build a genuine business.
His threats against Ms Lawani and her children have been previously reported to the Nigerian Police Force (NPF) for which reason he was arrested and taken to the police headquarters in Abuja for questioning and subsequently counselled on his conduct.
Contrary to his claims on social media, he was not arrested for supposedly poaching Ms Lawani’s customers but rather for making threats to Ms Lawani’s life among other criminal acts. His persistent insults, lies and threats directly and indirectly through his affiliates are worrisome and reflect an unacceptable disregard for the law and constituted authority.
The police is therefore urged to be alive to its responsibility in guaranteeing the safety of Ms Lawani and her family as well as her businesses.

Big Brother Naija fake housemate, Jon Ogah, has joined the league of those on social media who wants to see the end of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS operatives.
Since the hashtag, #EndSARS became a trending topic online, many people have voiced out their reasons why the anti-robbery body should or shouldn’t be put to an end.
2019 presidential aspirant, Atiku Abubakar, also had something to say concerning the issue.
The BBN housemate, also joining the campaign, shares his own experience with the operatives – according to him, they once threatened to plant guns in their car and ensure him and his friend end up in jail.
Ogah says one should ‘imagine how many people are in jail for crimes they never did’. Read him below:
Police Service of Northern Ireland has been outed on social media following a tweet by them which read “If you bump into that special someone under the mistletoe tonight, remember that without consent it is rape #SeasonsGreetings”, was posted to its 159,000 followers.
The tweet apparently drew criticism on Saturday, with hundreds mocking the force for ‘trivializing’ rape. Here are some comments from the force’s followers:
However the Police Force then pulled down the tweet after they were contacted by MailOnline. In a new message, posted this morning, the PSNI wrote:
“We posted a message on Twitter yesterday that some may have taken out of context but the message remains the same; when you are out socialising over the Christmas period, please remember without consent it is rape.”
This however, is not the first time PSNI has faced a backlash for social media postings, about sexual violence. In March the Newry and Mourne division posted an image of a distressed woman under the caption ‘without consent it is rape’ and a message warning people not to ‘overindulge’.

Veteran Nigerian actor, Prince Jide Kosoko in an interview with Olushola Ricketts, has spoken on his passion for acting, the death of three wives and the tussle for power in the movie industry.
He said that the people blackmailing his daughter are bastards and added that he regrets being a polygamist after two of his wives died in one year.
See Excerpts from the interview below…
What makes this year different from previous years for you?
The year has been a very good one for me. I have been going from one production to another. As you can see, I am on a movie set as we speak. Once this project is completed, I will travel out of the country. Also, I have not recorded any negative incident this year and I thank God for that.
How do you manage to remain active despite your age?
It is perhaps the grace of God, the will to achieve and the will to continue to prosper in my chosen career. I am in love with my profession and I am always determined to face new challenges. However, I thank God that I am full of experience in my profession and life in general. But the truth is that you must continue to learn and there are certain things where you are still a complete novice.
How come your daughter, Bidemi, is always in the news for the wrong reasons?
All the people blackmailing my daughter are bastards. If truly she did whatever they’ve said she did (dating a married man), whether she likes it or not, she will be punished. But if they are telling lies and trying to destroy her image, the people involved will not go unpunished.
If you know Bidemi well, she is highly disciplined and she has her own way of doing things. Unlike her sister, Sola, Bidemi is outspoken and principled. I don’t think it is an offence to be principled. So, if she doesn’t take nonsense, so be it.
Everyone cannot be like me. Though it is good to be humble, I can tell you that being humble also attracts unnecessary insults. Since some people don’t like being insulted, they keep to themselves. But people like to attribute it to many things. If you decide to blackmail people unnecessarily, then, you must check yourself. It means something is wrong with you, and there is a problem between you and God.
So you are certain your daughter didn’t have an affair with Bose Alao’s husband?
When I heard the news, the first thing I did was to call her to know what went wrong. I know if she had done that, she would not tell me she did it, but I know my daughter. Apart from seeing her grow, even as an adult, I am very close to my children and I know what they do every minute. If you ask me where Bidemi is as I speak with you, I will tell you. I don’t joke with my female children especially. Their lifestyle is important to me.
For people who are always blackmailing our actresses, they should turn a new leaf. This is part of the disadvantages of the social media, as everyone wants to talk. A friend once told me that some people are mentally disturbed or sick. Since no one checks what they say, they say whatever they like and get away with it.
I am not saying our actresses are completely innocent. We actually have people with funny characters, but the majority of them do not engage in the things they are accused of.
Are you closer to your daughters than your sons?
The female children have challenges mostly. If anyone goes after a lady and she shuns his advances, he may go to social media to insult her.
I always advise journalists to stay away from false stories because the more you get into them, the more trouble you find for yourself. We’ve forgotten some journalists today even though they are still alive. Instead of them to practise the profession diligently, they were busy blackmailing people.
Have you ever been blackmailed?
That is not news anymore. I have been blackmailed many times, but I sailed through. They have called me a ‘ritualist’ before, which means I am a murderer.
What came to mind when certain people claimed you used your wives for rituals?
Initially, as a human being, I felt bad. But my skin is too thick for all that rubbish. Instead of feeling bad, I will go on my knees and pray to God to give His judgment. And I always see these people get their judgment. I don’t want to mention names. I don’t know anything about what is happening to Kemi Olunloyo and I don’t follow her on social media. Apart from her, there are other people who have rubbished my name in the past.
Do you see yourself getting married again?
At my age and with over a dozen children, why should I marry another wife? I still have a wife, but people are mixing things up. I have heard many terrible things about me. There was a time some people said I have moved in with another woman. They have forgotten that my wife, who is still with me, Alhaja Bimbo, was a senior to my late wife, Henrietta. The first child we had together has graduated in America, but they think I just got a new wife. She is the only woman left with me.
What do I need another wife for? Maybe you can tell me. Becoming a polygamist wasn’t my design. With my upbringing, I am not supposed to be a polygamist. Though my father was a polygamist, he didn’t marry the number of women I have married.
My first wife, Sola’s mother, was working with the Nigerian Customs Service. She was not involved in my industry and then I would travel for two months. So, I was tempted to take a second wife. But unfortunately for me, in the circumstances I cannot explain till today, I lost two wives within a year. You can imagine that! So, I decided not to remarry again, though I had girlfriends; I was a ladies’ man.
Two of my girlfriends were very close to the house and my friends too would come with their girlfriends. So, we were almost turning the house into a brothel. Later, my doctor, a lady, visited me and advised me to remarry. She said it was the best for me, insisting that I was too young to be without a woman. I lost my two wives in 1992 and 1993 respectively, and I was not up to 40 then.
I agreed to take a wife in the long run, but I had two women who were intimate with me – Henrietta and Alhaja Bimbo. Since I couldn’t say no to either of them, I married two wives again.
Do you regret marrying many wives?
At a point, when I started having issues, yes, I regretted. I said to myself that if I didn’t have more than a wife, I would not be in the news in a bad light. But am I the only one that has domestic family problems? I don’t think I am the only one. Without being too negative or defensive, we have seen a family where the children, father, and mother died at the same time.
I thank God for all that might have happened to me. But regrets come when there are issues. But all my wives have given me beautiful and responsible children.
How have you been coping without Henrietta?
I cannot say it has been easy because her memory will never leave me. She was in the industry with me for a very long time, for 22 years. We were acting and moving around together. All that has been written about her in the media is enough for me to continue to think about her. She had her own shortcomings and I have mine too, but we endured each other. With all the things she did, I will continue to miss her.
Don’t you think it is unwise to marry in the same industry?
It is perhaps the best because getting married to a woman in your industry means she will understand your trade and she will not have issues with your movement. I salute those who are not in the entertainment industry but are married to people there. No matter how strong they are, they will always question the sincerity of their spouses.
Fellas and females, a new notion has been put to place by Reno Omokri when it comes to sleeping with whom you call your partner.
According to Reno, if it’d have to cost you money to sleep with a lady, then you should know that that lady is a prostitute.
Reno shares his reason as thus:
The only thing it should cost you to sleep with a woman is love followed by marriage. As long as it cost you money to sleep with a woman, she is a prostitute, whether or not you rebrand her girlfriend or fiance. That is why you should never marry a Slay Queen. When distance comes between you and your Slay Queen, she will find another Wallet King. But when distance comes between you and a true Pray Queen, she will find another wat to reach you #RenosNuggets

This lady seems to be brewing up some trouble for herself as she declares herself the most beautiful girl in Nigeria, even though she’s Tanzanian.
Tanzanian singer, Diamond Platnumz’ baby mama, Hamisa Mobetto who currently is in Nigeria, says she is the most beautiful girl in Nigeria even though she’s Tanzanian.
It was she who months ago sparked up a controversy between the singer and his spouse, Zari, when it was reported that she was delivered of a child for the singer.
It was quite a controversial time that she even engaged with Zari Hassan on social media… Well, it looks like she’s looking for more controversy now, sad thing is she’s looking for it from people with no chills.

A University of Ilorin female student (name withheld), has narrated how a man she met on Instagram drugged, had sex and took her nude pictures in a Lagos hotel.
Crying profusely while speaking with newsmen on Sunday in Ilorin, the lady said she met the man through social media network (Instagram), where the relationship started.
“He asked for a relationship which I was reluctant to accept but I accepted.
“I met him for the first time in Lagos when I was on holiday. He later invited me to an hotel in Ojo area of Lagos, that was when I met him for the second time.
“It was when I was preparing to return to school, so he demanded sex which I turned down.
“He promised me N15,000 and transferred it to me, we had a drink but I noticed I was dizzy.
“So it was when one of the hotel waiters brought a condom that I started to cause a scene before people came to my rescue.
“Later that day, he called and threatened to send my nude pictures he took to my Daddy, I was surprised how he got my father’s number.
“It was because of the threat that I had to go to him again to have sex and to ask him delete all the pictures but he again said he had video of when we were having sex.
“I couldn’t confront my parents because I was scared and told my pastor, so it was my pastor that reported the matter to the police,” the Unilorin student said.
She described the man as a devil who had taught her a painful lesson.
Confirming the incident, Kwara police spokesman, Ajayi Okasanmi, told newsmen that the suspect was arrested but escaped during interrogation.
“We invited the suspect to Ilorin with the help of the lady he was threatening.
“We arrested him and seized the phone which has the nudes pictures.
“So, we asked an officer to go and search where he lodged in Ilorin only for him to escape in the process and we have not seen him till date,” Okasanmi explained.
Okasanmi said that the suspect later went on social media claiming that he collected money from him
The Kwara Police spokesman challenged the suspect to come out and sue him if his claims were true.
An Egyptian Lawyer, Nabih al-Wahsh has been sentenced to 3 years in jail for saying that women who wear ripped jeans should be raped in punishment.
According to BBC, the lawyer made the statement on a TV Panel show in October during a debate on a draft law of prostitution.
He said:
Are you happy when you see a girl walking down the street with half of her behind showing? I say that when a girl walks about like that, it is a patriotic duty to sexually harass her and a national duty to rape her.
“I say that when a girl walks about like that, it is a patriotic duty to sexually harass them,” he said. He added that “protecting morals is more important than protecting borders.”
The National Council for Women’s Rights said they were a “flagrant call” for rape and violated “everything in the Egyptian constitution.”
The council has also filed a complaint with the Supreme Council for Media Regulation about the Oct. 19 broadcast.
According to The BBC, Wahsh is known to incite outrage — he previously called the Holocaust “imaginary” and is a self-described proud anti-Semite.

In his usual way, Controversial OAP, Daddy Freeze has reacted to Apostle Suleman increasing his tithe from 10% to 30%.
Recall, Suleman in a tweet on Social media, said he has increased his tithe from 10% to 30%, thus, Satan can “go and die”.
Here’s What Freeze is saying;
“Satan should go and die is now the new biblical defense for tithing?”
“The association of Nigerian Theologians, according to ‘The Point’ newspaper, published on the 20th of November 2017, declared that Christians should not pay tithe. (Scroll left to see article) are they now the devil you speak of?”
“I will say that paying 30% tithe has NO basis in Christianity, but you can prove me wrong, by showing me one bible verse where our new High priest under the order of Melchizedek, Jesus, paid tithe, or where the disciples, our first pastors and GOs, paid 30% tithes.”
“Now, unto other unrelated matters, that’s how one guy said one gov will die in 2 weeks and the gov is still hale and hearty, nearly 2 years later! ~FRZ”

The spokesperson of the Nigerian Police Force, Jimoh Moshood has said the people calling for the proscription of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) may be armed robbers.
Speaking to TheCable on Sunday, Jimoh Moshood, police spokesman, said SARS has lived up to its duty of curbing violent crimes and so, calls for its proscription should be “totally condemned”.
“As we speak, SARS is doing fantastically well across the country in reducing incidents of robbery to the barest minimum… they are doing very, very well,” Moshood said.
“There has not been any specific violation of human rights against any SARS personnel. So anybody that is spreading such a rumour is not doing the nation any good.
“SARS has no excesses and when there is any, we do investigate.
“The call for SARS to be scrapped should be condemned by all well-meaning Nigerians. Anybody calling for their proscription is not doing the nation any good and such people should be suspected as having something to hide.”
Jimoh Moshood
Moshood urged Nigerians with complaints against any police officer – “whether SARS or any other personnel” – to channel their complaints through established channels.
“Accessibility (to the police in cases of complaints) is very possible, he said, adding: “We do not take any infraction or violation of human right of any Nigerian likely. You know that so many police officers have been dismissed and even charged to court.”
“So, Nigerians should not give in to insinuations from people that just come to the social media and start spreading falsehood. Such people spreading such information may likely be armed robbers themselves.
“There is laid down rules for police procedures and any police officer that go beyond boundary to do something outrageous which is against the law is apprehended.”
Here’s what Comedian I Go Dye wrote on His Instagram page;
“Don’t use sentimental empathy on the youths to express your political ambitions.”
“Sir, you are one of those that have immensely benefited from Nigeria since your birth in 1946. Having worked for 20years with the Nigeria Customs where you retired at the age of 43 in 1989 as Deputy Director, your bucket list sure looks good because you were obviously employed at youth 23.”
“In 1999 you became governor of Adamawa and ultimately the Vice President, all of these you achieved at 53. What did you do during your time in that exalted position? When will the youths like in your time get a chance? am motivated to speak, based on your statement: A party that does not take the youths into account is a dying party. The future belong to young. Please which of the future?”
“Remarkably, between 1999 and 2007 that you were the Vice president of Nigeria, it is recorded that tertiary institutions witnessed several strikes that wasted seventeen months ,three weeks and three days.Within this period, what did you do?”
“If social support were given to youths then, their children will be between 18 and 20years during the 2019 elections, obviously they would have willingly voted for you or anyone that you endorse in 2019. This is the essence of making sacrifices for the future generation.”
“You cannot be credited to have been a philanthropic to the youths. The recent revocation of the NPA contract with Intel, your company,is the major issue.”
“As a company either, the people in the region you operated cannot accredit Intel to have provided credible support for the youths or built skills acquisition centers to curb unproductivity as part of it’s cooperate social responsibility , which has resulted to many youths embarking on the sub- sahara deserts route treking to Europe, which has claimed many lives.”
“Your excellency, sir Atiku Abubakar, please don’t use sentimental empathy on the youths to express your political ambitions, because by 2019 the youths are preparing to substantiate the real economical, political and progressive change.”
“I kindly recommend that you should advocate for process that will afford us the opportunity of a youthful leadership in the 2019 election. Thanks Amb Francis”
A Nigerian Guy, who tags himself as a “Social Media Evangelist”, has shared some words of advise via his Instagram page.
Below is what he wrote below;
What Every Man Should Know:
1. Leave your wife’s money alone: No woman prayed for a husband she will be sharing bills with, every woman prays for a rich husband.
If you truly want to enjoy your marriage and earn the respect of your wife, leave her money alone. I understand that if both of you are working you can put money together for rent, school fees and all but you must never make it a lifestyle.
If you take money from her make sure you give back more than you collected. Try this: whenever you need money, sow money to your wife and watch what God will do.
2. Practice what you preach: You cannot have a pot belly and tell your wife to be a size 8, you cannot stay at home on sundays and ask her to be a prayer warrior. You cannot expect her to submit and respect you when you are not a provider and working hard to give her the best.
3. Never stop dating your wife: you have to stay hot for your wife, let her be proud to say “that’s my man” one deadly mistake you can make is to think that nobody is trying to seduce your wife because you are married to her.
You must give her attention, take her out, spoil her, don’t stop doing the little things that brought you together in the first place. If you treat her bad or make her feel like she’s nothing, she will find attention elsewhere, you must safeguard your wife against yoruba demons, hausa demons and all sorts of demons.
May you receive common sense in Jesus name.
You too can be a social media evangelist kindly share so that others can be blessed as you have been blessed. Thank you for reading.
