@ganiyat_majob Menstrual cramps can be really painful for some people though.
@_vinnawillsAs a business owner I’d suggest you run your business as you deem fit, coz for some, they probably don’t have any employeewho’s period comes with severe aches or cramps, but you do, so in this case, if the employee is great at her job, punctual/regular every other day, then I see no reason why you shouldn’t grant her this time period leaves, but still do you.
@jay_ni_fahLol a lady asking this is funny… if you can’t cope with it you can let her go, some people battle with their lives on their periods. It is also okay to prioritize your business, so if it affects your business let her go.
@jennyagreesIn my company, I give it. 3 days COMPULSORY paid leave for this reason. They’re not as productive during this time, mood swings that create a tense workplace, disrupt the existing work culture & their performances are not optimal. Why force them to be around?
@thefixerlawyer Maybe her periods are cruel, please oblige her if she brings value to the workplace and truancy isn’t her tradition.
Nigerian radio personality and television host, Toke Makinwa, speaks on how she feels about being unmarried and single at the age of 40.
In a recent episode of her podcast, “Toke Moments” she shares how she has come to accept her reality of being single and childless at the age of 40.
Instead of viewing these aspects of her life negatively, she chose to embrace them, directing her focus to positive aspects of her life, such as being incredibly successful at her age.
She even claimed that had she gotten married again, she would have divorced as family life was just not for her. She advised women to focus on themselves and live their truth.
Many have commended her for accepting her reality and agreed that people have different ways of living their lives. While others unable to comprehend her points say she is lying and unhappy.

@_mar_grett There is no peace greater than making peace with your reality. You just live fully without anything holding you back.
@symply_beautianaLife is not celebrated enough. Be grateful you are 40 and you are alive. Younger people are dieingeveryday but God has kept you alive
@bigsucceyLove how she is telling herself the truth cos the worst thing you will do is lie to yourself.
@sniper_x_entry Lies. But okay, we believe.
@ritaberry_desserts Some people didn’t come this life for marriage and children; some came to this world to experience life and live and that’s still okay.
Nigerian actressDayo Amusa in a lengthy Instagram post, shares her opinion on why she thinks Nigerian singer Asake covered his face tattoos.
She explained in the post that it could have been one of two significant reasons. Either he was currently undergoing a rebrand orhe was suffering from some deep emotional issue.
The emotional reason she speculated to be his upbringing. She mentioned that a lot was not known about the singer’s childhood, and it is possible he might be dealing with unhealed wounds from his younger days which fame can’t cure.
She wrote;
“When Asake covered his face in tattoos, I once remarked that he was either rebranding or masking a pain he wasn’t ready to confront.
His childhood remains a mystery-some say his father was absent, others claim his mother was harsh. But I won’t judge a father who left or a mother who did what she could. What matters is that Asake deserves love, not a public spectacle.
Fame doesn’t heal the wounds of parental rejection. A child raised on “I love you” moves through life differently than one who hears, “I want nothing to do with you.” Some wounds money cannot fix-only deep, intentional healing can.
Rather than judge, I choose to send love to this remarkable artist.
To parents: Be present. Be the voice your child hears before the world tries to define them. A child who feels truly seen and loved at home has less to prove to the world.
As a victim of such circumstances, I can relate
I wish him well.”
For this reason, she advised parents to be careful with how they raise their children, as trauma from childhood can greatly affect the child even when they’re grown.
Her lengthy statement has garnered mixed reactions among netizens. Many have voiced that what Asake does with his body is no one’s business, along with his family history, saying he should be left alone.

A lady expresses disappointment at discovering the fried noodles she ordered for the first time at an expensive hotel.
In a video posted online, the lady @i_miime was in disbelief after she saw the fried noodles she ordered were different from the typical noodles.
Since she ordered a plate of fried noodles, the hotel chef prepared the noodles in a manner that appeared sticky and strongly resembled a pizza.
To illustrate the difference between her expectations and the fried noodles she received, she lifted the noodles from the dish in one piece.
