Singer and father-of-two, Davido has shared new photos of himself with a yet-to-be identified lady, who’s looks to be quite special to him.
The singer took his new mystery woman shopping at a Gucci store and shared the photos on his snapchat with the caption, which had a love emoji first, then,

A Facebook user has shared a heartbreaking story of how he met a lady crying profusely and touched by how deep her weariness was, he decided to console and ask what was going on with her, only for her to tell him a shocking story.
Anyanwu Chukwuebuka Ebu on Facebook, shared how a lady explained to him that her longtime boyfriend had already gotten traditionally betrothed to another and is going to have his white wedding in November.
According to her, she discovered this after she paid the boyfriend an August visit only for her to see an invitation card on his table.

And so I met a girl crying bitterly today.. I summoned courage and walked up to her to know why… And she told me that a guy she has been dating for quite a long time now.. Only to get to his house and saw his wedding card on the table with another girl by November. And his traditional marriage has been already done for a very long time. Worst of all is that this guy yelled at her for coming uninvited.
I thought these things only work in Nollywood movies.
Davido’s first baby mama, Sophia Momodu, has among other people mourned the death of the singer’s official Disc Jockey, Olu, as she took to her Snapchat to mourn him.
Sophia reminisces the good times they shared together and said a little about the deceased of how he died inside what he loved the most, which she says still remains a mystery to her, as it still is to us all.

After winning two AFRIMMA awards – artiste and song of the year – Davido has dedicated his win to his late friends, DJ Olu and Tagbo.
The singer copped two awards at the just concluded Africa Muzik Magazine Awards & Music Festival (AFRIMMA) held in the United States on Sunday.
In tribute to his late friends, he took to IG to share a photo of the awards and dedicated them to his friends, writing,

With an array of roles in different characters over the years sure has somewhat affected the Rita Dominic brand in the real world.
Perhaps leaving her as a superhuman to her followers, but then she reckons that she tries as much as possible to be herself regardless of the name Rita Dominic, or her being an actor, that she’s just an ordinary person.
The kind of person that likes simple things even though a lot of people find it difficult to believe; liking a simple lifestyle with that maybe they can connect with her on that level.
That much, with her strong social media presence, has helped grown and maintain her fan base by direct conversation with her fans, so many of who go overboard sometimes to appreciate her craft whenever they see her.

Asked what the craziest or worst form of appreciation she has ever experienced in a chat with This Day, her response was shocking as much as it was to her.
“Some guy many years ago, I was trying to pass and I tapped him, just trying to say ‘excuse me’ and the next thing, he does a double take when he turned his back seeing it’s me and grabs me and just plant a kiss up my lips and then he screams my name ‘Rita Dominic!’ I was in shock…’what was that?’ Then my friend just took me away from there.”
What could have happened should it be that her friend was not at the scene and had not pulled her away? It could have been either way bad or good.
“I’m human, I wouldn’t know, she responded laughing. “The thing is, first and foremost I’m quite a polite person. It takes me a while to be pushed. It’s possible that I would have just ignored and smiled since it’s a fan and it was a reflex action. He was just excited to see me. I could have ignored it I’m sure. I found it unexpected and was in shock. I wasn’t angry. It just happened in a split of seconds and I was just out of that place. But when I think about it I actually laugh.”
On her star power and being quite on top of her game and more so relevant in the industry, she attributes to herself being her biggest competition, and not anybody else. By that, she tries to reinvent herself in terms of her craft.
“What I do is I try to be better than I was last year, I try to be better than I was two years ago, I try to be better than I was at the start of my career in terms of my acting. I look at my work from way back and I say ‘okay maybe these are the things I’m going to do.’ I just constantly look for ways of immersing myself in a role. I feel like over the years when people have seen that this person has constantly been growing, automatically your relevance is there because people believe in your ability to bring a character to light. So because they believe in that your ability, they constantly want to work with you.”

Kendrick Lamar’s younger sister, Kayla, 17, is pregnant with her second child, and the teenager is expecting to put to bed soon.
Kayla had her first child at 13 – a baby girl. Now she’s expecting a second one. Kayla and her rapper brother are extremely close, and the 30-year-old big brother usually helps babysit her daughter.
When Kayla graduated from high school this summer, Kendrick bought her a brand new car.

Kemi shared a video on her Instagram page and wrote;
“A FAKE AUTOPSY IS CIRCULATING the blogs in #Nigeria. Even credible ones at GoldmyneTV, Linda Ikeji and more posted the autopsy of #kennekajenkins an American teen. The viral edit even changed CBS Chicago to CBS Lagos with the #fakenews circulator having no idea that CBS is a TV network and not a mortuary or corona’s office. SMH.”

Davido has made Nigeria proud again, after he copped two awards at the just concluded Africa Muzik Magazine Awards & Music Festival (AFRIMMA) held in the United States on Sunday.
Tiwa Savage won the Best Female West Africa, while Falz won in the Best Male West Africa category. Other Nigerian artists also won different awards at the event.

The Lagos State Government has confirmed that there are two suspected cases of Monkey Pox in the state. This was made known at an ongoing press briefing by the officials of the Lagos State Government, Alausa.
The commissioner for Health, Dr. Jide Idris disclosed that the two suspected cases were currently being investigated in the state.
“Though no confirmed case has been recorded, there is need to sensitise members of the public and provide adequate information on measures for prevention and control of the disease in line with the policy of the State government,” he said.
The new airborne viral disease which broke out from Bayelsa State has also be recorded in Akwa Ibom state.

It all began on Tuesday night, the 2nd of October 2017, when as usual, Honourable Femi Kehinde, Uncle Segeto and I were all hold up in the hotel discussing.
Nocturnal lifestyle has become a norm for me for a while now since I started working with politicians and in the deep of the meeting, Honourable screamed and his countenance suddenly changed from that of a happy man to a crying baby whose mother has just spanked for one offence or the other.
His eyes became soaked with tears all of a sudden and could only muttered few words

We all rushed downstairs straight to Uncle Segun cars, It was sometime around 9 30pm and I knew right there that I may not get back to my house till around 12midnight if not I have to stay at the hotel for the best reasons known to me.
Honourable was fighting to control the tears strolling down his cheeks while explaining to us the relationship between him and Femi which existed for about two decades and I could only nod my heads like that of agama liazard in agreement though I never knew who that Femi is .
After navigating into Bello street at Fellele, Lagelu estate, the abode of the deceased was still at the extreme end of Felele toward Iwo road express way, the house was a bungalow and everywhere was still apparently because of the sad event which occurs at the wee hours of Monday, the 2nd of October 2019.
Two men whom I believe are family members of the bereaved were around to sympathise with the widower, they lay on the floor and later sat on the couch to receive us.
‘Femi, How and when did it happen, for how long have you been on it that you didn’t carry me along, was she sick or what? Honourable Femi Kehinde queried and could not hold back his confusion and anger and hope the news was just a mere rumour.
He mandated the widower to call the Doctor who treated her last, apparently to determine the cause and source of her death probably because ‘Baba mi oo’ as we call the Honourable is a barrister.
Femi, the husband seems not to have come to terms that the love of his life has just said goodbye to him forever yet , he simply replied the barrage of question from the erudite lawyer mildly
‘Uncle, I think this must just be a TV soap or something from a Nollywood act that we watch. He began,
‘ I often watch this kind of storyline in movies and believe its just a superfluous act. I hear these fallacies on radio station and never really believe they are true anyway.
‘how do I begin to explain the mysterious way my wife died from the wickedness and witchcraft of an eleven year old maid who spent barely seven months with us?
‘How can I explain that a child we brought into this house sometimes in April, fed and treated her well could be the cause of the untimely death of my wife who ends up confessing that she has been feeding fat sucking the blood of my wife for that past six months?

not until the widower played back both the audio and the visual of the true confession of the witch in question from his mobile device that I began to believe.
Hello doctor, the widower began the discussion and eventually handed the phone over to Honuorable Barrister Lawyer’.
There was no need to strain my ears to listen to their discussion. Femi, the widower already put the phone on speaker and from their discussion, the Doctor said he could not find any cause of her death as he carried out several test on her and gave her the very best treatment andnever found a cause of ailment, he however said she was getting better until she gave up the ghost at about 5am on Tuesday and body already deposited at the private mortuary in Jericho. Only then did we conclude that it was indeed a spiritual attack
How did it happened? I really don’t want to be too forward by getting myself involved to ask question but luckily for me, Femi brought out his phone where both the audio and visual of the girls confession was recorded.
We were all spellbound to hear the damaging confession of the little girl who who was brought into the house by the bereaved sister from Apomu/ Ikire or Asejire axis of Osun state.
Mind you the girl isn’t an idigine of Osun oooo, I learnt propbaly she is from Benue or an Igede
Bose, (the bereaved sister I believed) was called in to explain how it all happened. According to the husband , Femi who said he had to send the girl packing from his house about 2weeks before the demise of his wife because according to him his spirit could no longer accommodate the girl
‘My spirit has not really been in tune with that girl since she stepped into my house and I began marathon prayers all alone for God to take control and right in the middle of the prayers one midnight I heard a voice to send the girl out of my house if I really want peace in my house, I told my wife that morning and of she went with Bose
My wife is a very prayerful person I’m just shocked how she had her way because from her confession she said she often laughed at my wife whenever she is praying.
She nearly wrecked havoc in Bose’s home too within the four days she spent with them which shows that God has been with us in the house since.
Bose was startled as she explained.
‘This girl was not the first house maid that would be in this house, I think she is from Benue and we got her in Asejire near Apomu /Ikire but when she came to my house after uncle Femi sent her packing that was when she confessed that she is a witch who has sucked the blood of her madam for six months now.
To be honest immediately this girl came in, we all noticed that aunty was emaciated while the girl suddenly turned cheeky.
Aunty was even joking with her one day that she should please help tell her mates to stop sucking her blood, the girl said ‘alright ma, she will relay her message to the group.
My sister was shocked but none of us took her response seriously not until the fourth day she arrived my home when Uncle Femi sent her packing. I noticed the powdery contents of my baby’s food in her mouth. I thought she stole from not until when my baby started vomiting all the food I gave him then I knew something strange was happening to my baby as I began to scream and descend on the girl
‘What have you done to my baby?’ why is my baby vomiting? I asked while beaten her consistently
She later begged and said she will confess,
‘Confess what?’ Then she began by saying she is a witch and the leader of her group which comprises of about 10 members and that they hold their meetings on the highway.
She said she had tried to kill her baby but because the child his strong willed and God is with him, he vomited all the poison he spilled into his feeding bottle.
Bose said she was shocked and had to call everyone at home to come and hear the confession and recorded her confession
The girl continued by saying that she spilled blood into the pap she was asked to prepared for their grandmother and spit on it enough saliva inside the pap for her to drink too.
We further inquired about other damages she done with her spiritual power and she continued by saying she has as a spiritual button in the house and that whenever she presses it the blood of her madam in would be squeezed and drained into the keg which she sucks together with her group in their meeting
According to Bose, she said the ‘girl witch’ said she fell in love with the first child of madam w a ten year old boy when she arrived and all effort to make the boy fall in love with her proved abortive
‘Madam’s boy is strong spiritually too, all my efforts in wooing him into our society roved abortive as I usually lure him with snack and biscuit even food from me ,this boy would reject it, that was why in our meeting we decided to feed on his mother’s blood ‘.
Bose said that a day after the ‘ girl witch’ confessed, they noticed that her body was swollen with numerous marks of been beaten badly and when we asked her she said it’s true that she was badly beaten by her group for confessing and before we knew it there were wounds all over her as we returned her to where we took her from.
we pleaded with her to please release my sister and she said there is nothing God cannot do only for her to give up the ghost eventually.
This was more than I could bear and when I was asked to pray for the family, the Holy spirit gave me few messages which I related to them for further prayers
On Friday the 6th of October, we went for the funeral ceremony of Mrs Foluke Olushola Joseph (Nee Paseda) whose obituary you see attached to this story.
It was a sad event and my prayers is that God should give the family the fortitude to bear the loss.

According to multiple reports, the conjoined babies were given birth to at the First Covenant Hospital in Satellite Town, Lagos, on the 8th of May 2017.
The happily married couple with two children – were shocked on seeing their new babies after the delivery. The twin babies (two boys) have been named James and John.

There’s an autopsy result making round, credited to be that of Davido’s Friend, Tagbo.. Apparently, we couldn’t verify the source of the autopsy, reason we never posted it.
But right now, we can confirm to you, that the autopsy result that reads: “Tagbo, died of too much alcohol consumption” is FAKE.
Below is a copy of the report making rounds. Apparently, the autopsy report is that of Kenneka Jenkins, the American girl who walked into a hotel freezer and died.

The Medical Examiner’s Office autopsy has revealed that alcohol was a substantial factor in the death of a 35-year-old Tagbo Umeike, the friend of Davido who died on his birthday.
The result also showed that he had alcohol and drugs in his system capable of easing a person into the early stages of hypothermia and eventual death.
The toxicology tests detected alcohol (Bacardi 151, 75.5% Alcohol) and topiramate, a medication for epilepsy and/or migraines in a man’s system, in Tagbo Umeike.’
Tagbo’s blood-alcohol concentration (BAC) was at 0.112, higher than the 0.08 legal limit for normal human being state, the coroner’s office stated.
While his family claims that Tagbo “didn’t have a prescription for any type of topiramate medication”, the coroner’s office stated that the amount of drug in Tagbos’ system was in the “therapeutic range.”
A statement by the coroner’s office said, “Alcohol and topiramate are synergistic. When combined, the effect of either or both drugs is enhanced.”
“Topiramate, like alcohol, can cause dizziness, impaired memory, impaired concentration, poor coordination, confusion and impaired judgment.
“Central nervous system depression, or impairment, combined with cold exposure can hasten the onset of hypothermia and death.”

According to CBS Chicago, a Medical Examiner’s Office autopsy revealed that cold exposure was a substantial factor in the 19-year-old’s death. She was also found to have alcohol and drugs in her system capable of better easing her into the early stages of hypothermia, later leading to her death.
Toxicology tests detected alcohol and topiramate, a medication for epilepsy and/or migraines in a woman’s system, in Jenkins’. Her blood-alcohol concentration (BAC) was at 0.112, higher than the 0.08 legal limit for driving in the state of Illinois, the coroner’s office stated.
Jenkins didn’t have a prescription for any type of topiramate medication, according to her family. The coroner’s office claims the amount of drug in Jenkins’ system was in the “therapeutic range.”
“Alcohol and topiramate are synergistic. When combined, the effect of either or both drugs is enhanced. Topiramate, like alcohol, can cause dizziness, impaired memory, impaired concentration, poor coordination, confusion and impaired judgment,” a news release said. “Central nervous system depression, or impairment, combined with cold exposure can hasten the onset of hypothermia and death.”
The circumstances Kenneka Jenkins’ death sparked controversy nationwide. Her body was discovered in a basement walk-in freezer early last month at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Rosemont, Illinois. The discovery of her body was made a full 24 hours after she was last seen at a party on the 9th floor of the hotel.
Nigerian reggae-dancehall singer, Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy has taken to micro-blogging website, Twitter to express his dislike for pastors and preachers.
According to the “Rock your body” singer, he says it is better to find truth for yourself, research and ask questions.

US-Based Nigerian singer, Speed Darlington has taken to social media to lament about not getting at least ‘one sex’ off his bang-dada-dang’s popularity.
According to the rapper who shared a video of himself lamenting on his Instagram page, he thought popularity comes with ‘asses being thrown at him’ as he also asked why it is always different in his own case.

Chairman of Dangote Group of Companies, Aliko Dangote, has once again, revealed his desire to buy English Premier League CLub, Arsenal.
In a video shared by YNaija he hinted that he may be sacking the manager, Arsene Wenger. This was said at the Africa Summit, themed “What Makes Africa Work” taking place in London.
Mr Dangote said he would buy the club and ensures he fires a couple of people in the club.
He had earlier said he would fire Arsenal boss, Arsene Wenger, once he buys the club.

Yesterday, Sunday 8th of October, a very terrible accident happened at tafa Kagarko Local Government Area, along Kaduna-Abuja highway.
According to reports we gathered, a petrol tanker on the highway, apparently, lost control and went up in flames after it tried to avoid a head-to-head collision with a golf car.
The tanker, then skidded off the highway and burst into flames. Scores were killed, and about 15 persons were injured in the accident.
17 houses, were also said to have being destroyed in the inferno.
Governor of the state, Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai, visited the scene yesterday evening and then sympathized with the people of Tafa and expressed sadness over the lives lost.
The Governor also inspected the new Trailer Park under construction in the area.
Another Trailer Park is being constructed at Maraban Jos, along the Kaduna/Zaria express way, Igabi Local Government.

The last may not have been heard of the death of Tagbo Umeike. Tagbo DIED on his birthday. On the 2nd of October, 2017, according to Asa Asika, who is Davido’s manager and owner of Shisha lounge, Tagbo came to the bar.

According to friends of Tagbo, he went to Shisha Lounge to meet up with Davido and the rest of the crew who arrived some time later. Available is the footage of Tagbo partying with Davido, Dammy Krane, Elejo and others. It was Tagbo’s birthday on the 3rd of October 2017.

After a round of drinks, the group decided to go with Davido to Oniru beach where an event was happening. There is CCTV footage of the group at the car park of the Shisha lounge around 12:18am. Tagbo could be seen staggering and to be amongst those leaving with Davido.

At some point in the car park, Davido and some other men were attempting to get Tagbo into Davido’s vehicle, Tagbo seemed to be resisting. According to Asa Asika, two men took Tagbo to his car (Tagbo’s own car) – there is however, no evidence of this.

The footage shows two cars (a Mercedes Benz and a Lexus) allegedly belonging to Davido driving out of the car park at 12:29a.m. According to Staff at General Hospital, Broad Street, Lagos Island and hospital CCTV footage which has been recovered by the police, two men with face caps came into the hospital reception at about 5:40 a.m. to seek medical attention for someone they had in the car.

They were told to register the person. They were told to provide a means of identification for the person, which they went back to the vehicle to produce. The identification produced was that of Tagbo Umeike. During the period, a nurse went with the boys to the car to get Tagbo.

On getting to the vehicle where he was laid on the back seat, the nurse suspected he was already dead and called for a doctor who confirmed this. Following the declaration, the two men were obviously distraught. In a bid to get contact details from the men, they made excuses and disappeared.

It is unclear who Tagbo eventually left the lounge with. It is unclear who these men who dropped Tagbo at the hospital are.
It is yet to be determined what happened between the hours of 12:28a.m when they left Shisha Lounge and 5:40a.m on the 3rd of October, 2017 when they brought him in his car to the hospital.
The IGP and the Lagos State Commissioner of Police are fully involved in the case. Davido and some other men including Asa have been interrogated by the Police. An autopsy has been scheduled for the 9th of October, 2017 while investigations are still on-going but the question remains:

Singer, Davido has replied a follower who claimed that he Killed three of his friends who allegedly died the same way.
Recall it all started when Caroline Danjuma accused the singer of Dumping her “boyfriend”, Tagbo who she claims died in his day, 3 days later, one of his bosom friend, his official DJ, DJ Olu died, and it was discovered DJ Olu died alongside one of his friend, Chime in his car.
Now, a follower has deemed it fit to accuse the singer of killing them, an accusation we think is just wicked and barbaric.
The Follower, @kellydgreat_ said: “Drama King Davido, you’re responsible for the death of three of your friends, Tagbo, Chime, DJ Olu who all died the same way within the period of 3 days. We really need serious investigation. Something is fishy about the mysterious death of 3 of your friends in less than a week. Nigerian singer, Simi who wants to keep her private life out of the public has disclosed that she is in a relationship but does not intend to reveal her partner’s name.
She revealed this while speaking to PUNCH’s Sunday Scoop yesterday.
Although, there have been several comments on social media about the alleged love triangle between the singer and two of her colleagues, Adekunle Gold and rapper, Falz but then she revealed how she met the two artistes.
She also disclosed that her and Falz’s hit collaboration “Soldier” was actually her song and when Falz heard it, decided that they work together on it.
She said:
“I always like to keep my personal life away from the public. All I can say is that I am in a relationship but I just don’t want to disclose the person’s name.
“I met Adekunle Gold while I was performing at an event centre in Lagos. Unknown to me, he had been listening to me since I was a gospel artiste and he said he was a fan of my music.
At that time, I just knew him as a graphic artist, popularly referred to as the ‘King of Photoshop’. I didn’t even know he was a singer, but we just became close from there.
As for Falz, he heard one of my works, and he reached out to me on Twitter. From there, we hooked up in the studio and did some things together. Soldier was actually my song, and when he heard it, we decided to work together on it.”

An American lady on Facebook, Lisa L. Flowers, has taken to the platform to cry out over her missing Nigerian husband who she says she has no reassuring explanation of his whereabouts from his family.
The post made by Lisa on her page states that there’s been conflicting report from her husband’s family, over her heartthrob’s well-being and even if he’s alive.
Lisa wrote:

Since Thursday morning there has been conflicting news from his family members concerning his well being and if he is even alive. I have no proof from his family that he has left this earth. Kidnap suspect Chukwudubem Onwuamadike, known well as Evans, reportedly plotted his escape from police custody before his arraignment in court, it’s been gathered newly.
According to The Nation, police detectives, especially those in the Intelligence Unit, aborted his plot. The Nigerian Prison Service (NPS) has formed a heavy security ring around the suspect.
After months of hide and seek, the police arrested ‘Evans’ on June 10 at No. 3, Fred Shoboyede, Magodo, Lagos. He is standing trial before an Ikeja High Court for alleged conspiracy and kidnapping alongside five others.
The other accused persons are Uche Amadi, Ogechi Uchechukwu, Okwuchukwu Nwachukwu, Chilaka Ifeanyi and Victor Aduba.
All the suspects were on August 29 remanded in Kirikiri Maximum Security Prisons.
Unknown to many Nigerians, the kidnapping kingpin had allegedly tried to escape from his cell in Abuja after he was transferred from Lagos.
A source spoke of Evans’ plan to give between $50,000 and $100,000 to one of the guards manning his cell to facilitate his escape.
The source said Evans was allegedly coordinating his escape bid with some members of his gang by telephone which he obtained through “suspicious” means.
It was learnt that intelligence officers and IGP’s Special Tactical Squad detected his plot. The source said:
“When Evans was in our custody, he tried to escape but we were able to abort all his plans. We discovered that he had access to phones which were hidden in the middle of loaves of bread, eba, semovita and so on.
“He was making calls from these smuggled phones in the middle of the night, making arrangements with some yet to be identified members of his gang to arrange for his escape.
“We intercepted how he was luring one of the guards with about $50,000 to $100,000. He wanted an insider to serve as informant to him and members of his gang.”
