A 300 Level Student of Caleb University, Morrison Akinyemi was allegedly beaten to death by his baby mama, Chidinma after a fight ensued in their room.
A neighbor to the “couple”, Mia Seren, narrated what happened as thus:
“Like yesterday, he went for a part then came back around 9. But chidinma was not home, so he called her to ask her where she was… They sha planned to meet at one place.. When they came back they were with a Mr Biggs nylon and they went to their room.
Like 30 mins later we heard them fighting in the room and somebody was hitting someone’s head on the wall.. Chidinma open the door, she did not open the door… Later we did not hear their voices.
Like 30 mins later, she opened the door then joy’s mother and bro moor wife brother entered and saw Morrison on the floor.
He was unconscious and he had an injury on his head, and had a cloth tied to his neck. We rushed him to the hospital then they said he was gone.
Friends has since being paying tribute to him, describing him as an easy going person, friendly and cheerful.. A tribute by his friend Gabriel reads:
I want you to know that I think of you every day. I want you to know that I miss you more than anything, and I would give anything to talk to you one last time. I still remember the last time that I saw you on sunday sept 24th. You were leaving for a party and I begged you not to leave.
You started cracking dry jokes….I knew I would miss you.. knew it would be a while until I saw you again. For some reason, when I we hugged…not until yesterday morning our friend Edet told me you died that sunday night…
I still cant believe this been crying since I cant even get a good sleep without thinking about you…..You had plans though you were You told me you wanted the youngest president in Nigeria…

A new Twitter poll, which asks who should be blamed for Nigerian music twins duo, P-Square’s split – Peter, Paul, Jude Okoye or their wives – has said that it’s both the wives and their elder brother.
After the video of the twins almost engaging in physical combat went viral online, a Twitter poll was created to ask for people’s opinion on who’s to blame for the duo’s split and Nigerians feel that their wives, at most, are to be blamed.
The polls shows a 46% vote for their wives and a 42% vote for their elder brother, Jude.
Nigerians have also reacted to their brawl, with many of them disappointed with them and some even referencing Mary Slessor, saying she didn’t fight for twins for this to happen.

A man, Paulcy C. Iwuala has written to YabaLeftOnline, to narrate the ordeal he went through after he was involved in a fatal accident that left his two legs damaged.
In a letter titled “The Inhuman Face of God Is Good (GIG) Motors”, Paulcy called out God is Good Motors for abandoning him in the hospital.

On April 2016, I was involved in a fatal accident in Ore. A head-to-head collision between God is Good (GIG) Toyota Hiace Bus and Peace Mass Transit bus. I was sitting in front of the car with the driver and watched two passengers die in front of me.
I tried to force my way out of the car, which due to the impact of the crash I believed may soon be on fire. The door was jammed, and all my efforts to break the side screen and force my way out was futile. Fortunately, some pedestrians on the roadside jacked the door open and I fell out, with a knee that had been ruptured with multiple fractures, and with a pain that was clearly unspeakable.
I was taken to FMC Ore by GIG management, where for 5 hours of excruciating pain no one attended to me. I had to call a DSS man, Raymond Nkemdirim, who was a personal friend, and through his mediation, the transport company moved me and the driver to the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH).
Again, for close to 24 hours I was abandoned in the casualty ward of UBTH because GIG Motors wasn’t forthcoming with the money that was needed to move me to the surgery ward for operation.
The doctors kept telling me that all they needed was for GIG Motors to pay 45,000 only so they can buy the anaesthesia and antibiotic drugs to be administered to me before the operation. The drugs were supposed to numb me; from my leg downwards.
At any rate, the only other option was to use the General Anaesthesia machine, which was so scarily old, duck tapes were used to glue some of the pipes. They suggested that was the only other alternative if there was no money to buy those anaesthesia drugs. Eventually I became so fearful of ever going through that GA machine that I called on GIG Motors that I was going to Abuja for treatment.
They decided to transport me to Abuja, but tried to offer me a single sit in the bus. Such brazen wickedness for a person of my size, not to mention that I was nursing a fractured knee which had to stay suspended to make the pain somewhat bearable. After minutes of argument they decided to give me an entire row of seat behind the driver. This driver however was so reckless on the road; that he made sure to jump into every pothole from Benin to Abuja.
The driver dropped me at GIG Park in Utako, Abuja, contrary to the earlier agreement, which was to take me to Alliance Orthopaedic Hospital, Area 11. He said he was not asked to do that. I called my brother who swarmed the office with 3 Hilux vans full of policemen.
After they threatened to seize their buses if they didn’t comply with the initial arrangement, they eventually took me to Alliance Orthopaedic Hospital. Afterwards, GIG Motors will continue to avoid any contact with me, and refuse every overture to partake in the financial aspect of the medical attention I received in the hospital.
Their abandonment, and the trauma which they had caused me beginning from that fatal accident to the continued inhumane nonchalance to my situation has warranted my now calling them out on their wicked and heartless attitude. And I am prepared to seek redress in every legal way possible.

After a two-hour showdown with airline bosses, British Airways has sacked Joanne Wickenden, the hostess who made some racist comments about Nigerians on Friday night.
In a video which went viral, Wickenden was heard making demeaning comments targeted at Nigerian passengers on the Abuja bound flight.
The video was reportedly circulated among the “concerned” passengers, while the incident was reported to the airline, which promised to act on it. In a statement on Tuesday, British Airways said Wickenden no longer works with the airline.
“She no longer works for British Airways. We expect the utmost professionalism from our staff when they are representing British Airways,” the statement read. MailOnline reported that Wickenden, who wants to be an actress, told her friends that she is not a racist.
“I am not a racist,” she said, claiming that the video was just “a joke.” “I have been framed by another British Airline employee. They were encouraging me, egging me on to say things.” “They were recording me and sent it around to our friends,” she said. Adding that she doesn’t want to fly anymore.
A man was savagely beaten after he was descended upon for calling someone ‘mad man’ in Kano state.
According to reports, the young man was involved in a squabble over an undisclosed matter with a man identified as Ibrahim before insulting him by calling him a mad man.

Nnamdi Kanu’s younger brother has called on the Nigerian Army to release the corpse of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) leader, his elder brother if they have killed him.
The younger Kanu had an interview today where he said that since the September 14th “invasion” of his brother’s home by military officers, no one knows the whereabouts of his brother, Nnamdi as well as their parents.
He called on the international community to help in calling on the Federal government to release his brother dead or alive.
“It is either they, that is the soldiers, captured him or killed him when they attacked our house. If they captured him, they should release him to the police, and if they have killed him, they should produce the corpse because he was last seen moments before the raid,” he said.
A very concerned Twitter user, Tayomi has called out Singer, Skuki Peeshaun, for wearing a jacket he wore last month August, and repeating same jacket this September.

Then the singer replied the concerned fan, and called on the gods of thunder to strike the follower dead, while revealing he bought it for N207,000 naira.

A Nigerian Lady, Vera Udechukwu who resides in Ghana with her Nigerian husband, has been killed, barely two weeks after her traditional wedding in August.
Facebook user, Onyebuchi Ememanka, who shared the sad story online, is demanding an inquiry into what could have led to the death of the young lady. In his post shared on Facebook tagged
“WHO KILLED MISS VERA UDECHUKWU?”, the Onyebuchi said Vera was found dead in her husband’s apartment in Ghana on September 10th and up till now, no one knows the cause of her death as he husband is currently on the run. Read what was posted online below

In the interest of justice and public safety, I am compelled to make this sad story public. I simply could not stomach it.
The story was brought to my attention by a friend and I am convinced that the public should know about it and be on guard.
Miss Vera Udechukwu is, sorry, was an indigene of Oba in Anambra State. She was 24 years old. She met and fell in love with a young man called Jerry Ugochukwu Ohale, an indigene of Urualla, Ideato in Imo State. The guy is based in Ghana. They decided to get married.
Late August this year, they did their traditional wedding at Oba and the girl joined the husband in Ghana immediately after and they started planning their white wedding.
Then tragedy struck!
Barely two weeks after the traditional wedding, precisely on the 10th of September 2017, Vera was murdered in cold blood. The Ghana Police authorities discovered her body and managed to establish contact with her family in Nigeria. The family was contacted the next day, September 11, 2017.
The intriguing part is that the husband, Jerry, is nowhere to be seen. The Police in Ghana has since launched a manhunt for him. They suspect he has fled Ghana and returned to Nigeria.
Preliminary investigations by the Ghana Police show that the girl was brutally tortured to death. She was killed in the most gruesome circumstances.
Many questions arise.
Who killed this young lady?
Could it be her husband?
Why is the guy on the run?
Why has he disappeared?
Meanwhile, the girl’s family is naturally distraught. They don’t understand how their daughter whom they barely gave out in marriage barely few weeks ago is now dead.
As we speak, the family is battling to retrieve the corpse of their daughter from the Police in Ghana and send the body home to Nigeria for burial.
Sadly, the girl’s family is not even sure of what their in-law does for a living. Their daughter simply told them that he is an international businessman.

The 26-year-old lady, Montia Sabbag, who has been at the centre of Kevin Hart’s Sex Scandal, has revealed in an exclusive interview with Daily Mail UK tha she slept with the married comedian three times after she flew with him on a private jet to Las Vegas.
Montia who claims that she didn’t know who Kevin was or his marital status, also revealed that the sex tape being used in the multi million extortion attempt was filmed in Vegas during the day when the comedian was sober and not drunk.

‘I was intimate with Kevin three times in the course of maybe three days. It was fun. We just get along, we get each other, he’s funny, I’m funnier. We had a connection, we had chemistry. We clicked.
‘It was fun, he didn’t try to woo me, it was just an instant connection.
‘I had a girlfriend who invited me to go with a few of her friends. I was like, “okay, sounds fun”.
I met him (Kevin) on the plane, I was with a friend and we had no idea he was gonna be there. He was with his friends.
I thought he was cute, he’s an attractive man, but I wasn’t star struck or anything like that, it was super casual, he was a gentleman, a nice guy.
In Vegas, they all agreed to meet up at the Marquee nightclub at The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas hotel and that’s when Hart zoned in on Sabbag.
She said: ‘We were drinking, having fun, listening to the music, dancing. I was more focused on my friends, I didn’t go there for Kevin.
‘But Kevin did pay me a lot of attention, he was into me, I could tell.’
Later that night, Hart and his entourage invited Montia and her friends up to the star’s luxury hotel suite. The comedian allegedly began to charm her as they instantly felt a ‘connection’ and had ‘chemistry’. They later had sex in Hart’s bedroom off the main suite.
‘We talked about life, you know, what are your dreams your aspirations,’ she said. ‘He was charming, he was funny.’
‘He made me feel comfortable, I don’t remember exactly what happened, it kind of just happened.
‘Yes we were intimate, I did not know he was married but I found out later, I was a little bit upset, confused about it because the way he was acting it didn’t seem like he was married.
‘But I was caught in the moment, he’s an adult.
‘We partied, we drank and we ended up being intimate three times over the course of three days.’
Montia however claims to have never been a big fan of Hart’s films or stand-up routines, so she wasn’t blown away by him.
‘It’s not like it was anything special, I’m a normal person, just cause he’s someone we see on TV doesn’t mean I was wooed, it’s not like that, he’s just a cool guy, chill.’
She revealed that the sex tape was seemingly shot when she had sex with Hart for a second time, not the first. And this was done by a partygoer in the suite.
‘Everybody believed that the video was the night of the nightclub and that we were only intimate once, but it was a completely different day, the second time (we had sex).
‘If you really look at the tape it was during the day, it wasn’t a night thing, he (Kevin) was sober, there was obviously a connection, I’m not just someone he was with at night when he was intoxicated or something, it was more than that.
‘We were all back at the hotel room. There was quite a few people in the suite, it was a social gathering, a party. We hung out, listened to music.
‘Kevin was very public about his affection towards me.
‘We were hugging, kissing, touching and it made me believe he wasn’t married.’
After the trip came to an end, she and Hart parted on good terms. She however denies any involvement in the camerawork and claims she doesn’t recall seeing anyone filming them. When asked if she knows who did and what she thought about his apology video, she responded:
‘I have my suspicions’, adding: ‘But I can’t really discuss that because of an ongoing investigation.
‘I was like, “wow”, but mainly I was confused because I thought he was saying I was the person (who targeted him)
‘I knew I hadn’t done anything wrong and I knew I didn’t do any of the things he said in the video, so I was confused.
‘I made myself clear from that initial phone call I received and I think I’ve made myself clear by hiring a lawyer.’
This was why she hired LA civil rights lawyer Lisa Bloom to handle the case.
‘I want to set the record straight. I’m not a home-wrecker, I’m not an extortionist, I’m not a stripper, a prostitute, I’m just a woman who has dreams and aspirations.’
Her lawyer Bloom said she feels that what the filmmakers behind the sex tape did was ‘disgusting’ and ‘criminal’.
‘I am so proud of Montia, she has really been through hell in the last month, this has really been hard on her, even when she came to me a couple of days ago she was really distraught.
‘I like to think that when a woman stands up for herself and speaks the truth it is very empowering and it’s one of the healthiest things you can do.
‘What I think is important is that Tia was a victim of a crime.
‘She’s an adult, she was with another consenting adult in a hotel room as happens millions of times every day across America.
‘It’s a felony to stick a camera into a room secretly, to record, to disseminate these images and to ask someone for money, those are four different felonies.
‘Montia has bravely decided to stand up for herself and I salute her for that.’
Montia also tearfully denied that she is trying to cash in on her new found fame.
‘I came forward to show that you have to stand up for yourself, when you are being accused of doing something you didn’t do… it hurts, when you have the world calling you things you’re not, it sucks.
‘Don’t let someone bully you, don’t let someone pick on you, it sucks, you’ve got to stand up for yourself and be true to yourself.
‘My hope is to find out who did this, what they did was not right, what they did accusing me, you can’t do that to people.
‘I usually don’t regret things in my life but I definitely choose when to learn from things. I’ve learned never to mess with married men.
‘If I had known that Kevin was married this would never have happened.’
Three men have landed in prison custody after they were arrested and charged before a Lagos court for allegedly engaging in public fight over a new sex worker brought in a popular hotel.
The incident happened at the popular hotel in Ijegun area of Lagos.
The suspects were Ekene Williams, 21, Oladejo Hammed, 19 and Kelly Ozor, 19. It was gathered from police sources that the new lady simply called Joy, came to the hotel to resume work and her presence was said to have attracted the attention of the hotel patrons including the suspects.
P.M.EXPRESS gathered that the three suspects were separately scheming on how to have Joy for sex before another randy man identified as Ossai Kingsley surfaced and there was squabble over who will first taste her as she just resumed for work at the hotel.
It was learnt that Kingsley maneuvered his way, gave Joy a better offer and she agreed but the suspects resisted the move which caused serious problem in the hotel.
The disagreement led to serious fighting during which the suspects allegedly broke bottles, attacked Kingsley and also stole his money.
The hotel management contacted the police and the suspects were arrested and charged to court for conduct likely to cause breach of public peace and assault under the Criminal code.
At the Ejigbo Magistrates court where they were arraigned, they pleaded not guilty. The presiding Magistrate, Mrs J.O.E Adeyemi granted them bail in the sum of N50,000 with two sureties in like sum.
They were remanded in prison custody pending when they will perfect their bail condition and the matter was adjourned till 30th of October, 2017.
P.M.EXPRESS gathered that it was not only the suspects that were involved in the fracas at the hotel, others were said to have escaped by the time the police arrived at the scene.
Four suspected internet fraudsters, Shiko Romeo, Bobby Edigiu, Henry Nisike and Emmanuel Ayo were arrested recently by men of the Nigeria police force on suspicion of being involved in internet fraud.
According to reports by PoliticsNGR they’d be arraigned in court by the Benin Zonal office of the EFCC.
Upon handing the suspects over to the EFCC Benin Zonal Office, operatives of the Commission embarked on painstaking investigations including forensic analysis of their laptops were incriminating documents were retrieved and printed.
The suspects later confessed to their involvement in internet fraud using fake identification on Facebook in their attempts to hoodwink unsuspecting persons especially European and American women.
For instance, Shiko Romeo, who claims to be a student of National Open University, NOUN, confessed that he scammed the duo of Kitty Zamaripas and Susan various sums of money with a promise of love relationship using the name John Culfer who lives in New Jersey, USA.

But since the disagreement is now in the public domain, and our name has been dragged into the fray, we wish to appeal to members of the public to refrain from jumping into uninformed conclusions about this feud.
None of these talented brothers is at fault. None of them is also wholly justified and correct in their individual positions. We also wish to state categorically that, contrary to widely held opinions, none of their wives is at fault. In fact, the wives have kept their respectable and dignified distances from all the issues involved. THEY HAVE NEVER INTERFERED in any way.
We also want to state that whilst all the three brothers may have genuine grievances, nobody’s life is at risk. All the various incidents that happened in our Chambers (some as late at 12 midnight and 2am and one of which was captured in the online video) arose out of various meetings that were genuine attempts at resolving their differences. Whatever was said by all of them that were provocative were done in the heat of passion, emotion and anger. In fact, the incident in the video circulating online happened sometime around May, 2016. After all those arguments, we all still sat down and signed agreements and we were all happy. So, we appeal to everyone to please grant the Okoye family the privacy, prayers and support that they need at these trying times. I have also appealed to all of them not to grant further interviews at this point so as not to escalate the issues further. Whatever is going on is the usual siblings’ rivalry experienced in most families. It is nothing unusual.
We are of the strong opinion that the brothers would eventually put away their differences and come back stronger.
The Biafra struggle is playing out on the streets of Bengaluru, India with some Nigerian nationals clashing over the issue multiple times.
According to a report by the Times of India, the Bengaluru Police are now mulling over getting these students deported.
A series of attacks and counter attacks has taken place in the city between these students over Baifra issue.
In the wee hours of Sunday, a dozen Nigerian students created a ruckus in Hennur. They allegedly attacked the residence of one Elvis Ohachosim, a 39-year-old fellow Nigerian, and set his car ablaze.
According to DCP North East, Girish, this was a counter attack in retaliation to Elvis attacking two Nigerian friends on Saturday evening.
He said that Sunday’s attack was not the first time the Nigerians fought over Baifra issue.
“This has been going on since the beginning of September. On September 3, Nigerian citizen N Chigozie, a resident of Hennur, died. Investigations suggest that he may have died after clashes between the gangs at an African restaurant in Kothanur,”
The Bengaluru police have filed four cases against these two Nigerian groups since September 3.
According to Elvis’ complaint, 12 people arrived at his house in Vaddarapalya at around 3am on Sunday.
“The man knew he was in trouble so he did not open the door. His car was parked in front of his house and they set it ablaze instead. He has also said that the gang threatened to kill him,” the DCP added.
An FIR was filed at the Hennur Police Station later on Sunday against the 12 Nigerians. Elvis’ car was not completely gutted as a few of his neighbours helped him put out the fire after the gang left.
According to the police, Chigozie was found dead near Geddalahalli railway track on September 3. The Kothanur police had thought it was a road accident.
After preliminary investigation, a case of murder was registered. The police are now awaiting the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) report.
Chigozie’s brother Nonso Odedike, has filed a complaint accusing a group of Nigerians led by a man named Aiwa, of attacking him and Chigozie at a restaurant named African Kitchen in Kothanur, on September 2.
A senior police official said:
“Chigozie’s brother has said that they were having dinner at African Kitchen on the night of September 2. They were discussing the Biafra issue when they were attacked. Six people were arrested in the case and are now out on bail,”
Nonso, in his complaint states that when the attack occurred, they fled the spot. He says that his brother may have been killed while trying to escape.
The senior official said that two groups – one supporting Nonso and the other supporting the six accused in Chigozie’s murder, have been clashing repeatedly after September 3, the senior police officer said.
Elvis is believed to be a Nonso supporter, who allegedly attacked Christoper Okwi Onuigbo and his friend Ani Charles. The duo were part of the six-member gang arrested for Chigozie’s murder.
The Kothanur Police filed a complaint against six people including Elvis for the attack on Saturday night.
“There are two gangs of Nigerians who are clashing over political reasons. We will submit a report about them to the Foreign Regional Registration Office,” DCP Girish said.
Police said the accused in all four cases are Nigerian nationals and had come to India on business or student visas.
Prison officials at the Ogwashi Uku prisons in Delta state have been accused of torturing one of its inmates, Onos Osagie, for reportedly leaking out information about the activities in the prisons.
According to a Nigerian who shared the story online, Prince Harrison Gwamnishu, the prison officers tortured the inmate because he disclosed that an inmate died on Sunday due to the failure of the prison officers to take him to the hospital.
