Former governor of Abia State, Orji Uzor Kalu has said leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu is currently in London.
Kalu revealed this in an interview he granted Sunday Punch, adding that he does not know about the whereabouts of Nnamdi Kanu’s parents.
He said contrary to what has been fed to the public so far, the military did not take Kanu and his parents away.

Orji Uzor Kalu told Sunday Punch:
“Kanu was not taken away by the military. Kanu went to Malaysia from where he travelled to the United Kingdom. Nnamdi Kanu is in London right now as we speak.
“He was not arrested by anybody. He left the country on his own.
One of his relations has spoken to me and explained everything because I wanted to see him and talk to him wherever he was and see how I could meet some Federal Government officials on his issue.
“I also wanted to see ways of talking to the President about him, and find common ground but his family told me that he has left the country, unless they are lying to me.
“I believe, whether he had left the country or not, he is not with the military because I asked the Commander of the 14 Brigade, Brigadier General A.K Ibrahim, who is a very fine and good soldier, well educated and dedicated, and he told me that they don’t know his whereabouts and I am sure, the Department of State Services have the same information.
“I also visited the Commissioner of Police and he said he didn’t know his whereabouts and that they are also looking for him.”
On the whereabouts of Kanu’s parents, Kalu told Sunday Punch:
“I don’t know.
“I visited them in December last year and I was not impressed with the discussion I had with the father and the mother because I expected them to have acted better.
“Since then, I have not visited them.
“I feel that they have not impressed me because they ignored my advice to them to talk to their son on the need to stay at home and avoid public outings. I said his people can continue to carry their flags around but that they should not disturb anybody again.
“They have a right to express themselves but that such rights should be within the limits of our constitution.
They have the right to carry Biafran flags but they should do so within the limits of the constitution. Once your activities are within the limits of the law, you are in order.
“You cannot carry Biafra flags and be stopping vehicles and smashing their windscreens.
“You cannot carry Biafra (flags) and be raping young girls, you also cannot carry Biafra (flags) and be assembling young men every day.
“These are people who have no job and after doing that, they will go and engage in kidnapping or they will go and do armed robbery while some will go and do other things to make money.
“Hunger is a very terrible thing.
“The traders in the market have warned them to stop the nonsense they are doing. Why should you be extorting money from people in the name of Biafra agitation?
“They are extorting money from people in the market against their will.
“If the federal and state governments continue to watch and allow all these things to continue, there will be chaos in the state.
If Kanu had not proved stubborn but listened to advice and kept to the rules of the court, we won’t be where we are now.”
According to multiple reports, a man was said to have allegedly battered his wife, after he found her in a beer parlour with her boyfriend.
According to a Facebook user who shared the story, the man had returned home to find his wife gone and his eight-month-old baby alone with the maid.
He went in search of his wife only to find her in a beer parlour with her boyfriend who resides outside the country. In anger, he beat her mercilessly while the boyfriend fled.
Others in the beer parlour stood watching and made no effort to stop the abuse.
Dencia is coming for Yemi Alade, and we sincerely didn’t see this beef coming.
Yesterday, Dencia shared a clip from Yemi Alade’s 2016 interview where the singer called out names of some artists she thought should quit music, one of which she mentioned Dencia.
For over a year, Dencia ignored that diss and worked on her new album. Now, her album is out and she finally has time for Yemi Alade.
“@yemialade F-ck you,” Dencia began in her lengthy response. “My Album debuted on #3. I don’t have to fuck managers and whatever to get to the top.”
And that was not all.
Dencia dismissed Yemi Alade’s achievement, insisted they are not on same level, and explained that she is taking all her time to drag the Johnny singer, to promote her new album same way Yemi Alade used her for clicks and promotion last year.
He full post below;

In another episode of WTF?! on social media, a 500 level student of Afe Babalola University has been reported to have impregnated two 100 level students of his school.

So a prospective Nigerian groom has shared online what he did to his wife-to-be that had her call their wedding off.
An anonymous guy shared with relationship IG page, makeup or breakup, how he slapped his wife just a little bit, so as to correct her for doing something he doesn’t like her doing.
According to him, the “correction slap” was given to her because she answered his phone and he has warned her not to always pick his calls.
He wrote:
Our wedding is this Saturday and for the first time in my life I just gave her one small slap and she threw my ring to my face and called it off . If a woman can not endure a little slap from the man she loves then what can she endure in the marriage ? Just correction slap and she is forming yanki girl saying domestic violence, how ? Should I beg her ? Or do you people think she is unserious . My mum said she is not a serious wife . I slapped her because she picked my call and I have warned her never to try it, because I don’t puck hers or go close to her phone .
Australian model, Florence Baitio, who became an internet sensation, all thanks to her unique dark skin, has shared new photos of hers.
She became quite known on social media after photos of hers hit the web – and it’s all thanks to her charcoal dark skin and her flair for colourful lipsticks.

I know you guys are busy with all that is going on but this won’t take long.
You must know why I am writing. You guys are all over the news. Your names keep popping up on several headlines. It wouldn’t be a cause for concern if the buzz around you was music related.
It’s sort of sad to see you guys trending because of sibling rivalry and not because of music. Since 2014 we have watched you guys become gossip material. Your fans are sad to see this happening. Even the critics can’t explain how a legendary group is unfolding so badly.
At the height of your fame and success, the P in Psquare could have also meant professionalism. Peter and Paul, you showed what it meant to be a recording artist. You guys took no prisoners.
You dropped the hits and Jude Okoye ran the ship. This was how you became music stars in the real sense of the word. You brought excitement to millions of Nigerians.
If those around you won’t tell you, I will. The Psquare brand hasn’t been the same since all the drama started a couple of years ago. Your last album ‘Double Trouble’ was solid no doubt, but it didn’t affect popular culture like your previous efforts. The sibling rivalry has robbed the group of a bit of its shine.
While you are squabbling, the Psquare brand is losing its appeal very fast. After years of hard work, sacrifice and dedication, this is not the way to go out. You guys have earned the right to go out on your terms but it surely shouldn’t be this way. Psquare should go out with a bang.
Siblings will always fight especially twins. It is not unusual that the two of you are disagreeing. The best of brothers trade punches once in a while. The manner in which you two are fighting leaves room for concern.
Your squabbles shouldn’t be seen all over social media. You guys are acting like D-list celebrities. Peter and Paul, you are better than that. Has it come to this? You have lost respect for each other and are ready to drag each other through the mud. Legends shouldn’t behave like this. It is disappointing.
No matter what is going on do not lose the fact that you are brothers. You grew together, cried together, starved together and hustled together. No one knows you guys better than yourselves.
Now, there have been rumours about why you are fighting. I wouldn’t dwell on these too much because they are just speculations.
The same respect you give a man is the same you should give his wife. A man has a right to choose who his wife is. You might disagree with his choice but at least be respectful. Show respect. If you are disrespectful to a man’s wife, you are disrespectful to him also.
And on the business side of things, surely three grown men can come together and talk without trading blows. Psquare hasn’t done badly in terms of money over the years. Whatever business model they have been using can be improved upon. Progress is not bad. Everyone should be open to progress.
Hopefully, sense will prevail and you guys will stop the public mudslinging. Remember, the Internet never forgets. Your kids are watching their uncles behave childishly. What legacy do you want to leave for them?
Nigerian music veteran and businessman, D’banj who became a father for the first time awhile ago has spoken up about his experience so far.
In a recent interview with Punch he talked how fatherhood has changed him.
He said;
“Being a father is very humbling. I have always acted as a father to a lot of young artistes from the days of Mo Hits but now, I have a child of my own. When he was born, I was in the hospital and as I held his hands, it made me realise that to whom much is given, much is expected. This is someone’s life that I am responsible for.
It is not just about fatherhood but now I have a family. Before I became a family man, I took decisions without looking back. I could decide to sleep on the Mainland; I could decide to chill with my friends. But now, I have responsibilities.

The fan wrote to Waje: “All these f**cking artises they hate Davido.. They don’t see any good thing in what he does… But they are ready to hype Wizkid.. That does not care..”
..and of course, Waje replied: “Have you brushed your mouth this morning or prayed? I don’t think so cos if you have, your brain would have aligned with cleanliness in the process. Both young men are doing big things for this industry so shut your trap and allow me post whatever I like on my timeline. Tomorrow I’d post about beyonce or anyone I damn well please. I nor blame you….”

Check out the exchange below;
Meanwhile, Eva Alordiah revealed that she usually makes the first move towards a guy.. In an interactive session with her fans on her IG page, one of her fans shared her ordeal with her and then, the rapper used herself as an instance.
One of her fans had told her that she was interested in a guy but doesn’t know how to go about it and Eva had this to say:
“If you die tomorrow and you do not get to experience that beautiful(love). If you really like him so much, the only reason that you should hold back is if you are not sure that he likes you that much. I think it is sweeter when he shows you first how much he likes you. I had to teach myself how not to be too forward. I used to be too forward. If I like a guy, I would be like hey, I like you. The next thing, we are kissing. I used to be very forward but I have had to calm down and understand that sometimes, regardless of how you are feeling, you want to hold back” she said
Chelsea won by 2-1 in injury time on Wednesday in their UEFA Champions League game against Atletico Madrid.
Michy Batshuayi secured a last minute goal for the London club at Estadio Wanda Metroplitano.
The victory which was a happy moment for almost all Chelsea fans worldwide was quite the opposite for “Deco” in Accra, Ghana.
Deco was stabbed in Aketeman-Zongo by fellow soccer fans who were in to enjoy the action.
An eye witness who spoke to Asempa FM, a radio station in Accra did indicate that an argument on Chelsea defender David Luiz was what got Deco stubbed.
Deco made some remarks to three fans reportedly opposing Chelsea at the time which did not go down well with the three. These remarks were in response to the three critiquing the performance of David Luiz on the night.
The three fans reportedly went out only to come back with a jack knife and clubs to attack Deco. After Deco was stabbed, he was rushed to the Korle-Bu teaching hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.
Police at the Tesano Police Station are undergoing investigation and are in the hunt for the three suspects
The win for Chelsea takes the club to the top of the group C in the UEFA Champions League with 6 points followed by AS Roma, Atletico Madrid and FK Qarabag.

Azealia Banks has finally apologized to Nicki Minaj after years of constantly taking a swipe at the Trinidadian rapper.
Recall in 2015, Banks attacked Nicki for calling out the racism in the industry; then in 2016, Azealia body-shamed Nicki, where she told her to stop parading herself as the queen of rap, she then further compared her career to what McDonalds is to fast food.
Recently, Banks also dismissed chat topper Cardi B as a ‘poor man’s Nicki Minaj’.
Now, Banks has apologised for all the unkind things she has said about Nicki.
Nicki Minaj.
Banks reached out to Nicki via direct message on Instagram to apologize for everything she has said, and also to praise Nicki’s artistry and intellect.
“I really do enjoy your artistry and think you’re so intelligent and clever. You have a really brilliant art mind and often times remind me a lot of myself,” Banks said.
And Nicki Minaj replied her, urging her to concentrate on making music, and on what really matters.
“You’re very talented & very smart,” Nicki said. “Focus on what really matters from now on.”
A staff of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons [NAPTIP], has revealed exclusively that some parents actually encourage their daughters to travel to Europe to become sex slaves so they could send money to them.
The NAPTIP official, Esther Otegheri who revealed this shocking fact to Pulse, said many of the sex slaves the agency have managed to rescue in some European countries like Italy, Russia, Germany, and Spain, claim that their parents pushed them into the trade.
Otegheri also posited that some of the parents go as far as providing the money for their wards to travel out or take them to shrines to swear to oaths that they will not abandon the sex trade when they get to Europe.
“It will shock Nigerians to know that most of the girl who gets trafficked to Europe to engage in prostitution are often encouraged or pushed into it by their own parents,” Otegheri begins.
Otegheri who was one of the NAPTIP officials who just came back from Europe where they managed to rescue some girls who were trafficked for the sex trade, said that some of the girls they rescued are as young as 13 and most of them had undergone untold hardship and were exposed to various kinds of diseases.
“I wept bitterly when we saw some of these girls who were as young as 13 roaming the streets of Europe soliciting for men to have sex with them for money.
They have these madams whom they report to and any money they make is used to offset the debts they owe the madams or send back home for their parents to pay off the people they borrowed to send them to Europe.
There are girls aged 13, 14 and 15 on the streets of Europe, selling themselves for money. They are so young, vulnerable and having terrible experiences. Some of them are exposed to sexually transmitted diseases because many of the patrons prefer sleeping with them without condoms.
Only the strongest of hearts would not cry when you see them or hear their stories. Many of them go through harrowing experiences before they get to Europe all in the name of making a living for themselves and their families.
In the course of our investigations, we discovered the routes these traffickers operate from and it would break your heart to see what they go through.
We discovered that some of these young victims go through the border between Sokoto and Bori Koni in the Niger Republic while some trek through the deserts taking the Katsina Maradi-Niamey-Ouagadougou-Mali, on to Libya before crossing the Mediterranean sea into Europe.
We also discover that majority of the victims are trafficked through Lagos to Cotonou for onward trafficking to Europe, with the connivance of Immigration and Customs officials.”
It has been discovered that Nigerians make up the biggest nationality crossing the Mediterranean in smuggling boats launched from Libya, and many of the migrants are girls and young women who are destined for the sex trade.
“Many of the girls come from very poor families and the parents feel the only way they can come out of their poor status is if their daughters could travel Europe and engage in prostitution. That is how low most of our parent’s reason.
Many of the girls have not been to school or have very little education, so they are easily taken advantage of. They dream of a better life in Europe, they see Italy as a paradise.
You will be surprised to hear some parents even boasting about their daughters who are in Europe and when you ask them what the girls do, they will be proud to tell you that they are hustling.
For them, hustling means one thing: prostitution. They are not ashamed to say it and it is very pathetic.
Some of these girls have little or no idea where they are heading or what they would do when they are being trafficked out of Nigeria. They don’t know the danger in front of them only to realize it when they get to a point of no return and they would have no option but to fall in line.
They are forced into prostitution and if they refuse, they are beaten up, detained and threatened with juju. It is very sad.”
Otegheri also pointed out that the victims of the sex trade live in terror of the madams who run them, as well as organized Nigerian gangs who operate as a mafia team and are used to whip the girls into line.
“The madams are like demi-gods and they control the girls in every way imaginable, from beating, torture, illegal imprisonment and threats of death.
There are also Nigerian gangs organized like the Mafia and they are used by the madams to intimidate, abuse and terrorize the girls.
The gang often kidnap the girls, rape them and force them into the streets to solicit for men.
Even some local churches are not left out in the trafficking. We have arrested some so-called pastors ho run these trafficking trade. They pretend to send these girls abroad to work when they know they are being sent to become prostitutes.
Once the girls arrive in Italy or other parts of Europe, they are made to sign agreements to pay back between 30,000 to 50,000 Euros to the madams before they are free to be on their own.
Most of them can spend three to five years without being able to pay up the money, thereby living in perpetual bondage.
The exploitation of these minors by their parents and the organized sex trade rings is rather pathetic. The way our government is handling the matter is also not encouraging. We have advocated for these rings to be smashed by all means but they still keep sprouting and it is worrisome.”
The problems associated with human trafficking for the purpose of engaging in prostitution is hydra-headed and the government needs to take serious measures to checkmate it.
Some of the measures that have been advocated include investment in quality education for the youths, sensitizing the people, especially those in the rural communities so as to reach the most vulnerable people who think traveling abroad is the one sure way of beating poverty.
The government should also create employment and skills acquisition opportunities to enable the young girls to learn a trade because a large number of the trafficked persons were lured into the act due to unemployment and poverty.
Kenny Ogungbe has declared he’s not moved, neither is he convinced about the whole PSquare’s drama, a feud that has been trending for the past week now.
Ogungbo, while speaking on his Kennis Music Radio show, the record boss stated that the Okoye’s Family drama is nothing but a mere publicity stunt… and the reason he feels so, is because many folks have been calling in to request for PSquare Songs.
He also added that the brothers may have yet another massive show coming up this December and so are using the stunt to create interest.
Image Credit: Michael Obasa for Naij
“I am sure they have a massive show coming up in December and they are using this as a publicity stunt. They have over 100 songs and people who called us on the radio within 15 minutes, requested for about 29 of their songs,” the record boss said.
“If you are breaking up after recording about 100 songs, will you break up to record another big song as a solo artiste? At what age? How many songs are they going to release that would be up to what they have released already? At what age do they want to do that when people are interested in listening to songs released by younger artistes?” he added.
Kenny Ogungbe went further to say: “Quote me anywhere that I said it is a game. In the video that was released online, Paul said it was a shame to Peter. It is a game (laughs). Quote me anywhere that I said that it is a game but if they don’t get back together, good luck to them.”
Finally, DBanj has some words for Eedris Abdulkareem, after the latter, went on a ranting spree, calling out top names in the Entertainment Industry, particularly, DBanj, where he called him stupid for leaving Don Jazzy.
Recall a mild drama happened yesterday, after Eedris called out Timaya, for being an ingrate, and then he said Timaya wouldn’t have been successful if he doesn’t have the confidence he gave him..
Timaya of course wasted no time in replying the singer, and finished him off with cuss words.
Back to Dbanj, the Kokomaster seems to be taking a less confrontational approach.. He gave out a subtle shade by saying Eedris insulted people who are young enough to be his children.
Saturday Beats caught up with the Kokomaster during the one year anniversary of his initiative, CREAM, and he said
“At first, I did not see the video where Eedris spoke about me and initially, I thought it was something else till people sent me the video. I have seen different videos of him talking about different artistes that are young enough to be his kids. I would have thought that if he was such a role model, there were better ways he could pass his message across but I have nothing against him. I have nothing more to say about him. I feel people just have different ways of expressing themselves.”
A Nigerian lesbian Nneka Obazee has been reported to have taken overdosed of pain medication after finding out she was to be deported.
The United Kingdom news site independent.co.uk reported that the lesbian asylum seeker attempted to take her own life in order to stop herself being deported from the UK.
Nneka Obazee, 34, was meant to be flown on a charter flight to her home country of Nigeria but she overdosed on pain medication which led to her hospitalisation, according to activist group Lesbians and Gays Support the Migrants.
Ms Obazee was set to be deported along with her 19-year-old stepson on an 11pm charter flight on Wednesday back to her home country despite fearing for her life, causing outrage from the LGBTQ community.
“When Nneka was made aware that she would be returned to Nigeria she was so frightened that she attempted to suicide and took an overdose which demonstrates how dire the situation would be for her if she was returned to Nigeria” a spokesperson for LGSM, who are in direct contact with Ms Obazee, told The Independent.
Her step-son was deported and is now arriving in Nigeria without his mother or a support network. Ms Obazee came to the UK in March 2013 on a visit with her abusive husband and stepson and took the opportunity to run away for him while in the UK.
It was only once in the country that she says she felt she was able to reveal her sexuality. For the past four years Nneka has been living in Manchester and is an active member of the cities LGBT+ community, organising with the queer migrant group African Rainbow Family.
Ms Obazee has had her case rejected by the Home Office and failed two appeals tribunals. She is currently undergoing a judicial review. “Sexual identity is a very difficult thing to have to ‘prove’, not least when it has been the cause of significant trauma in the past,” LGBTIQ specialist senior caseworker at Asylum Aid, Rajiv Bera, told The Independent.
Mr Bera added that he continually represents people who have exhausted their refugee status determination and appeals process without success but “With adequate representation and proper support, the same people have gone on to eventually win their cases”.
It is also not uncommon for the same LGBTQ+ asylum seekers to suffer from mental health problems: “By the time they are recognised as refugees, they have experienced the effects of disbelief, destitution and detention, often at a huge cost to their mental health” he said.
Ms Obazee has experienced severe mental health issues, including depression according to LGSM, which she says have been exacerbated by the asylum process.
The group have said that since being detained her mental health has worsened and she has suffered a nervous breakdown which has included thoughts of suicide. Last year a report by LGBT charity STONEWALL and UK Lesbian and Gay Immigration Group found that UK detention centres were poorly equipped to deal with the needs of LGBTQ+ asylum seekers.
It detailed how LGBT detainees were denied access to HIV and anti-depression medication well as being bullied, harassed or physically attacked by other detainees, and victims said they did not feel protected by detention staff. Leila Zadeh, director of UKLGIG, told The Independent that the organisation was concerned about Ms Obazee’s deportation:
“We are concerned that too often people’s sexuality is disbelieved and asylum claims incorrectly refused. It’s also concerning that somebody can be removed from the country when there is a judicial review outstanding.” A spokesperson for Lesbians and Gays Support the Migrants told The Independent:
“Only two months ago we joyfully celebrated with our friend Nneka at London LGBT+ Pride and now all we can do is watch powerlessly as she is railroaded through an unjust and inhumane immigration system to face certain danger in Nigeria.”
In 2013 Nigeria made same-sex marriage illegal and according to a report from Human Rights Watch the law is “used by some police officers and members of the public to legitimise abuses against LGBT people”.
Anti-gay laws in Nigeria can lead to punishments including 14 years in prison to death by stoning and LGBTQ people are frequently faced with violence due to their orientation and gender identity. Ms Obazee is currently in Yarls Wood.

Delectable Nollywood Actor, Seun Jimoh has advised parents to teach their sons to respect women, and also teach their daughters how to respect themselves.
He shared an adorable photo with his daughter and wrote;
“Teach your sons to respect women, to be kind and gentle, to protect them and shield them, to provide for them as much as they can and be good men.
Teach your daughters to respect themselves, to respect everyone and carry themselves with grace, to understand that their bodies is not a trade item and to work for the things they need, teach them not to depend on men for their daily needs and that what a man gives should only be in good faith not an exchange!
Train up your child the appropriate way, you will save his/her life.”
Here’s a beautiful Love story on Raquel and Seun Daniel’s marital journey. This is not your usual love story, it is uniquely different..
Their story proves that it is not always how long, sometimes it is how well!
On the the 9th of May 2016, they were complete strangers, fast forward to the 15th of May, 2016, they got engaged and on the 9th of September, 2017, they got married.
Read the full story below as narrated by the bride:
“Yes, I recently married my Best friend. But much more than excitement, what I’ve been taught during this (what felt like an eternity of single) season is that God is INTENTIONAL about every single detail in our lives. If we’re connected and in alignment with what HE is doing, we won’t miss His voice when He speaks.
God brought this amazing human into my life when I wasn’t even ready. I could have missed it, I almost didn’t see it. It was too fast and he was too real to be true. Thankfully, when I met him, I recognised him-Spirit to Spirit.
It only took me a few hours from the airport departure lounge to the plane to decide I wanted us to be friends. In three days I knew deep in my heart, you’re here to stay. After five days you decided you wanted more than friendship. Was I scared? Absolutely!
You don’t meet some stranger and in five days agree to marry them but you were sure it was me you’ve been actively searching for. Beyond possessing every single thing on my list for a choice of a spouse, you came with extras I knew ONLY my Father could give me.
I said “if we’re doing this, know that we’re going to have to wait until marriage” you said “lets raise the bar, we’re not going to kiss before marriage”. Your response that day in Kigali was a confirmation that you just had to be him.
I’m grateful for a man like you, Seun You’re truly the Father’s Son. Your love for God is so evident in ALL you do. You challenged me to see the world in the way that I never did; you make me laugh and love with abandon and remind me every single day to dream bigger, to work harder, to open my heart to the possibilities of this beautiful life. I never realized that I could love anyone as much as I love you”
The Groom has this to say:
When I met you, I thought to myself “what an amazing woman”. It didn’t take me long to know I wanted you. But it was too soon, too fast and even though I’m normally reserved, I couldn’t resist your depth and great smile. Your love for God was so evident even a blind person could feel it. I saw in you after a few days EVERYTHING I prayed for (and more).
Beyond being able to talk to you for hours and not get tired, you speak with so much wisdom. I’m glad I made the decision to pursue you immediately because when you find the right person, making a decision is never difficult. You’re beautiful, selfless and your heart is so so kind. The definition of a Proverbs 31 Woman.
The Father’s Daughter. I’m grateful to God for giving you to me as a wife and I’m blessed to be called your husband. I know this for sure, when God made you, He was definitely thinking about me. ….My Queen, My Light, My Woman.
I was looking for a wife. Not a fling, not a situationship, not a friend with benefit- a wife. I wasn’t just looking for a beautiful face, a nice body or to be sexually enticed. The Word of God is clear ” He who finds a wife, finds a good thing” I’ve found my own “good thing” and obtained favour from the Lord.
You, baby, didn’t have to rub me on the shoulder to get my attention. I acknowledged you’re a treasure, the wife I was searching for immediately I set eyes on you. I’m blessed to call you my wife.
Nothing can be greater than being given a daughter of the King.
And the bride has this DEEP message for single ladies
Dear single Christian woman, this is from my heart to yours.
“WAIT FOR GOD’S BEST FOR YOU.” Get a piece of paper and search through the Bible and list qualities of a godly man. Watch and listen to sermons about Biblical manhood and what it looks like then list those out too. Look into your own life & heart.
See your shortcomings list them out and pray for a man who is strong in those areas. Think on your passions, purpose and desires for future, list and pray for a man who wants to live that type of life with you. Decide, then list your VALUES and convictions.
Pray for someone who has similar ones. Values matter! Ask God to show you what standards to set. Ask Him to give you the patience to WAIT. Ask Him to make you the woman that your future husband is also praying for.

Ask Him to prepare your husband and help him wait as well. Ask Him to teach you grace and patience for the areas that he will fail because trust me, he will. Ask Him to mold you into the woman your husband needs for his own plans and future ambitions. Ask Him to bring His perfect gift in His perfect timing… No matter how many men flood you weekly.
Keep your eyes and heart on the Lord. He will be worth the wait (as cliche as that sounds). If you’re thinking, “I’ve gone too far to even start this.” Listen up!
There’s GRACE. Ask God for help. He’s faithful and just to forgive us from ALL our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If you’re losing hope, remember this scripture “Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” – Psalm 27:14
You don’t have to dress up scantily, be loud so you can be heard to be seen or rub him on his shoulder to get his attention. A true gem will shine, even in darkness. A man close to God, will know when he sees you, that you’re his wife. And trust me, you don’t have to try to be seen, for him to see you.
And adds thus:
In today’s sex-crazed and “purity is lame” culture, we’re quick to celebrate the men who only take their women to exotic restaurants, buy them fancy cars, take them on expensive vacations, put it up on social media but not honour them by protecting their purity. We’re quick to “hail” and repost them with hashtags like #Husbandgoals #RelationshipGoals.
As Christains, we are called to be people of purity, to honour God in the use of our bodies. However, pursuing purity is one of the hardest things Christians face in dating relationship or courtship and men who honour their women are hardly celebrated.
We all agree, it is really hard for two young, hormone-filled people who are intensely attracted to each other to keep their hands off each other. That is why celebrating men who honour their women and their God is very important.
I said all that to say this; celebrate the men who whether it makes sense to our culture or to their bodies to reserve sex for marriage or not, still honour their God and their women to wait until marriage.
Celebrate the single men who lead their women closer to God rather than their bedrooms. Celebrate the single men who are not sitting on the fence, arguing if kissing before marriage is right or wrong and looking for scriptures to justify it but simply focused on serving their God and loving their women in the way of the Lord.
If you’re reading and wondering, “it’s difficult, I can’t do this” remember this scripture: ” But He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for MY strength is made perfect in weakness.’ (2 Corinthians 12:9 ESV)
Be encouraged because it is possible and you can do it!
I celebrate you Seun. You’re a testimony that extraordinary men do exist.
