“Are we in the right place?”โ White wedding guests question themselves after arriving early for a Nigerian wedding (WATCH)
A video which is being circulated on social media has generated a lot of hilarious reaction from internet users especially Nigerians.
The video which was shared on Instagram by @therealrobbrydges with the caption ‘On time for a Nigerian wedding‘ and is currently trending, depicts how Africans barely keep to time while attending an event.

In the video, two white men are seen walking hurriedly to attend a Nigerian wedding feeling they are late but they were met with an interesting surprise.
According to them, the wedding was supposed to begin at 6 o’clock but they arrived at 6:05 making them five minutes late and they were worried they were going to miss out.

The gentlemen were taken aback when they got to the wedding location and found the hall empty, this made them question each other ‘if they were in the right place’ and when the event would start.

This however, has caught the attention of many netizens online, as a majority of them could relate, referring to the situation as ‘African time’.
African time which refers to the quality of not arriving somewhere at the right time or lateness is popularly exhibited among Africans.
