“I can become a babymama because things are changing” – 46 year old actress, Bimbo Akintola

bimbo akintola babymama

Veteran Actress, Bimbo Akintola has said she can become a baby mama, because things are changing. She made this disclosure in an interview with Tunde Ajaja of Punch Newspapers.

When asked if she could consider having a child out of wedlock, she said: “Of course, I can. Definitely I can do it because I don’t see anything wrong with it.”

Excerpts from the interview below:

You once said you love kids, and with the way people are embracing the option of child out of wedlock, popularly called baby mama, is it something you could do?

Of course, I can. Definitely I can do it because I don’t see anything wrong with it. Things are changing in the world at large. If you look around, you would find a lot of women are having babies and taking care of themselves. It’s everywhere. There are women who are not actors but are single mothers, and for a lot of people I think it’s about their biological clock. Instead of waiting for manna from heaven and you know there is no manna, and you feel the need to have children, then do it.

A lot has been said about your love life and some have said you should be married by now. Would you say the society is mounting pressure on you as regards marriage?

I guess these questions arise because of the country we live in and the kind of people we are. It’s also something I think we need to look at critically, because it seems we are creating more trouble for people, as marriages are now crashing within six months or even less. This is partly because the society puts a lot of pressure on people to get married. Shouldn’t we take a step backward and ask ourselves what we are doing wrong. It’s not about how soon, but how well? I think it’s time we realised that marriage is such a serious thing. Shouldn’t we allow people make their choices by themselves, without pressure? Parents should stop putting pressure on their children. Many women are divorced now and in some cases, there is serious fight and both of them would be fighting over the custody of the child. We need to start changing the way we look at marriage. It’s important we get married but marry at your own time.

But the Yoruba culture makes it look like a woman is incomplete without a man. Does that not bother you?

We have to change our thinking, due to the time. You can’t be rooted in the past when the present and future are a totally different place. If you look at what is going on now, there are women looking for husband but can’t find. So would you now say because of that they shouldn’t have children? That’s unnecessary and it’s like making them suffer twice. I think for anybody that wants to have children, as long as you know you are capable of taking care of them financially and emotionally, why not.

As a good-looking woman, how often do men approach you?

(Laughs…) Every day that I go out. It’s a normal thing every day; from younger men, to people of same age and of course older men. It’s a regular thing. If it is not happening, you have to worry about yourself. Because of what we do, people want to date actors.

Can you date an actor?

I’ve been in the entertainment industry for over 20 years, so there is nobody I want to date in the industry, except such persons have not come into the industry yet. I know everybody and there is nobody I’m interested in dating. That is the truth. Most of them are like my brothers, and maybe it’s because of the work, because when I’m working, those things don’t even occur to me, so by the time work is over, I already see you as a brother or colleague. For me, I have never been interested in any actor. Never!

If you work closely with someone for a length of time, are you saying you have never had feelings for any actor in the line of duty?

Never! It has never happened to me, personally. I don’t look at anyone except from the angle of the character the person is representing. I could talk with the person before or after, but at that point, you are probably entering the brother or friend zone. I’ve worked with the finest men in the industry and I have not felt anything like that before. I worked with RMD, and that was even when I had just started acting. I worked with Ramsey Nouah, Desmond Elliot, Emeka Ike, Kanayo Kanayo, Fred Amata, etc. they are all like my friends and brothers. Even the directors, like Jimi Odumosu, Lancelot Imasuen are like my brothers. So, for me, I have never had an attraction for an actor.

Some reports say you are in a relationship. Is it true?

I’m an actor and because of that people are curious about my life, but I like to keep certain things to myself.

When you are not on set, how do you relax?

I go out with my friends once in a while. Or when I’m not working, I’m at home. I like staying at home, or I take my niece and nephew out to cinema. Then, I cook a lot; I love to cook and I cook every day. So, I don’t eat out. Cooking is amazing, and there is nothing I don’t cook, including Nigerian, Indian, Italian, Chinese dishes, etc.

What is your favourite meal?

I don’t have favourite meal anymore. I just like good food that was properly cooked. For me, cooking is not about the favourite, it’s about the quality, the mixing of different ingredients to achieve a particular taste. I’m a real proper foodie and cooking makes me extremely happy.

The Nigerian Association of Christian Journalists has nominated you as one of the recipients of its Integrity Award. How did you receive the news?

It was a huge surprise; I wasn’t expecting it at all. For a lot of us who are in arts, we do what we do, hoping that we are touching lives. So, being given an award like that is just like people saying they see what you are doing and you are doing a great job. And once in a while, you need that, like a pat on the back, saying well done.

TBoss says she doesn’t know why people dislike her & she doesn’t care either

Tokunbo Idowu Ajayi, one of the finalists of the just concluded Big Brother Naija reality TV show says she’s discovered that a lot of people dislike her even after her eviction from the show.

Speaking with Cool FM, T-boss said the alleged “hatred” started from the house which later spread to the outside world.

According to her, “I had no idea, it was after I came out of the house that I knew how unliked I was. I think that hatred for me started from the house and it spilled from the house outside.

“I felt that some people didn’t like me in the house and I addressed that a few times. I came out and found out that many more people didn’t like me. I don’t seem to know why and care why.”

TBoss attributed her inability to correctly sing the Nigerian national anthem to her absence from the country.

“I have been out of the country for many years and in Romania or UK, we don’t sing the Nigerian national anthem. When she (Debie-Rise, a fellow housemate) asked me to sing it, I thought to myself, ‘I’ve got this’.

“I looked at Bisola’s face and she was laughing at me saying TBoss does not know that she has mixed it up, look at her face she is so innocent and I ignored her. I decided to sing it again and I mixed it up

“I was furious at the situation because even at the audition I was asked to speak pidgin and I went mute, I couldn’t even speak pidgin and I told myself that I wouldn’t get into the house because I was not Nigerian enough and that was the show was about.”

TBoss sparked series of controversies while the show lasted, most notably for saying that she wasn’t keen on the N25million prize money of the Big Brother competition.

She also said the money will be finished before saying Jack and that many private jet owners were wooing her.

The makeup on this Nigerian bride has got people talking

Nigerian bride

We stumbled on a picture that’s currently making rounds on Social Media.. It shows a Nigerian bride and her makeup artiste smiling for the camera.

At first you’d feel this is beautiful.. as it’s so very obvious the makeup artiste did a “Good job”.. But when you look closely, you’d understand the adage by Comedian IGodye that says: “No matter how you bleach reach, that line at your buttocks.. you can’t bleach”.

Still don’t understand? Her Face color is quite different from her hands.

You feel the makeup artiste did a good job?

Nigerian Couple Jailed 252 Months in US for online dating fraud

Nigerian Couple Jailed 252 Months

Gbenga Ogundele aka Benson Ogundele, 58, of Laurel, Maryland has been sentenced to 234 months in prison over conspiracy to commit wire fraud and money laundering arising from a scheme to defraud vulnerable victims of millions of dollars.

Ogundele’s wife Moji Popoola, aka Mojisola Oluwakemi Tin Popoola/Moji T. Popoola, 42, also of Laurel, was sentenced to 18 months in prison. Both sentences will be followed by three years of supervised release.

United States District Judge, Paul W. Grimm also convicted Ogundele of aggravated identity theft in connection with the scheme.

Judge Grimm, had on March 20, 2017, sentenced Mojisola’s brother Babatunde Emmanuel Popoola, aka Emmanuel Popoola/Tunde Popoola, 34 to 12 years imprisonment on the same charges.

Ogundele and the Popoolas were convicted on November 18, 2016, after a 17-day trial.

Nigerian Couple Jailed 252 Months

Ogundele, Mojisola, and Emmanuel, were, in 2015, indicted by a federal grand jury alongside Mukhtar Danjuma Haruna, a/k/a “Mukhtar Haruna Danjuma” and “Mukky,” of Lagos, Nigeria; Victor Oyewumi Oloyede, 41, of Laurel; Olusegun Charles Ogunseye, aka “Charles O. Ogunseye,” 58, of Laurel; Adeyinka Olubunmi Awolaja, Jr., aka “Yinka O. According to the evidence presented during their trial, from January 2011 to May 18, 2015, members of the conspiracy searched online dating websites to initiate romantic relationships with elderly male and female individuals. They phoned, e-mailed, texted and used Internet chat messenger services to form romantic relationships with the victims, who lived in Maryland and around the country.

The members of the conspiracy were said to have used a number of false stories and promises to convince the victims to provide money to the conspirators, including fake hospital bills, plane trips to visit the victims, problems with overseas businesses and foreign taxes. The conspirators opened bank accounts in order to receive millions of dollars from the victims.

Numerous deposits from several victims into bank accounts controlled by the defendants, or checks received from the victims, ranging in individual amounts from $1,720 to $30,000 were also discovered.

Members of the conspiracy used false stories and promises to convince the victims to provide money to the conspirators, including fake hospital bills, plane trips to visit the victims, problems with overseas businesses and foreign taxes.

Oloyede, a co-conspirator was sentenced to 234 months in prison.

Awolaja, Ogunseye, and Williams pleaded guilty to the charges against them. Awolaja will be sentenced on June 12, 2017, Ogunseye, on July 25, 2017, and Williams, on July 27, 2017.

Efe explains how he formed the slang: “Based on Logistics”

efe explains, efe based on logistics

In a new interview with Punch, Efe opened up on his stay at the house, what he feels now for Marvis, the allegation that he stole the ‘Based on Logistics’ slang from another artiste, his relationship with Debbie-Rise, and more.

See the excerpts.

On claims that he stole the ‘Based on Logistics’ slang from another artiste:

“I am sure that those who said that I did not form the slang just want me to talk. They just want to cause a controversy. A lot of things have been said online that is not true. I coined that word in 2013 when I went for ‘Just Bring it On’ reality show. I won N300,000 on the show. I coined the word because they were having a lot of logistics issues in setting us up because we stayed in the house for two weeks. Each time the guy came to meet us, he would say they had some logistics problem so before he tried to explain to us, I would tell the housemates that the matter was based on logistics in that previous show. The show was organised by Kevin Pam, winner of Big Brother Africa 2009.”

Still on the “Based on Logistics” word, Efe in a chat with Pulse Nigeria revealed how it was coined:

“It was back in 2013, I actually contested in ‘Just Bring it On,’ organized by Kevin Pam, where I won in the rap category,” Efe started.
So, when in the house, they were having different logistics problem. So, anytime their rep comes to talk to the housemates, he will say ‘because of logistics we couldn’t do this.’
So, before he completes his statement, I will explain to them and say ‘based on logistics, that’s why this hasn’t been provided,’ stuffs like that.
“The slang grew in the house. I kept using it and since then, it has been a regular word for me among my peers and friends.
“I didn’t know it was that significant until I came out of the house. I was confused. Like, I’m currently overwhelmed. I just go everywhere and I hear ‘based on logistics.’
“For me it’s like a normal word like ‘good morning.”

On his relationship with Marvis:

“I only kissed Marvis because that was the only thing I wanted to do. I respect women and I cannot afford to be fooling around with them. For me, kissing shows a little bit of emotion but if it goes beyond that, it means we are taking it to another level and that is why I did not go beyond that. I admitted in the house that I like her but I always knew that it would only last within the house because she has a boyfriend. At first, I thought she was not serious when she said she had a boyfriend but when she said she was serious, I had to be cool.”

Asked if he wishes to visit Marvis’ family:

“I cannot go to Port Harcourt because that is where she is based. We all know how her father is, so I have no intentions of going to Port Harcourt or going close to the place. I don’t have a girlfriend. My priorities are different and I am not moved by women but that does not mean I am gay. Never.”

On his relationship with Debbie-Rise:

“I was never really interested in Debbie Rise and when she came to the house, it was my duty to make her feel comfortable. In the house they told me I had to improve on my niceness because they felt I am not too nice but I tried my best. She took the vibe on a different level so I had to let her know that it was not what she thinks. Her guitar really got on my nerves and I had broken it like 200 times in my mind. Every day I set my eyes on the guitar, I broke it in my mind.”

The #BBNaija winner revealed that the show gave him the opportunity of getting on a plane for the first time

“The first time I got into an aeroplane was when I was travelling for the show and I was really shaking. It was a terrifying experience for me when we were ascending and descending. My flight was from Lagos to Abuja and from Abuja to South Africa. The South Africa trip was worse because there was turbulence. There was a man who was chatting with someone and during the turbulence; he was thrown away from his chair. I had to tighten my seat belt and clinch to the chair. That was how I was all through the flight.”

Asked how he intends to spend the cash prize, the winner who previously dished on that, regurgitated his favourite line:

“Based on logistics, I would spend the money based on logistics.”

Bisola Forgives Thintalltony, hugs him on stage (video)

Bisola Forgives Thintalltony
BBNaija’s Bisola has forgive ThinTallTony… They are now friends again.

At a concert organized for the ex housemates in Warri, Warri Again? Comedian AY pulled the first runner up of the show, Bisola on stage and told her that it’s a must she forgives him. She did, and then they hugged it out.

Recall, during the grand finale of the show, Bisola saw TTT’s wedding bank and she was beyond shocked.. and then during her first interview after leaving the Big Brother Naija House, she said Tony betrayed their friendship, that she never expected he would do so after all they shared.

“I just found out that ThinTallTony is married and has a family and in my mind I’m like, ‘dude you are one amazing actor!’,” she begins. “Good thing, I did not have it in my head that after the show I was gonna come out and have some sort of romance with you.”

She continued, “I feel just a little betrayed. We were really close. Come on! We shared a lot of things. This one thing you didn’t say [and] I don’t know why. Anyway, it’s your choice.”

To show just how much his deception hurt, the actress refused to hug him during their meet in Lagos.

But Bisola may have put all of that behind her.

Pastor allegedly turns water into kerosene during Sunday service (Video)

Pastor allegedly turns water into kerosene

A Zambian pastor, Andrew CFM, who’s a self-acclaimed miracle worker, has claimed to have turned water into kerosene during his Church’s worship service.

The pastor, popularly called Seer 1, had asked the congregation to come with a bottle of water each, as he was about turning the contents variously into wine, kerosene and even premium motor spirit, also known as petrol.

He reportedly had his own bottles, too, which he laid on the floor before the altar and prayed on the contents to be turned into kerosene.

After the ‘prayers,’ he picked up one of the bottles and poured the contents on a folded paper and lit it.

As the fire burned, the congregation erupted into uproarious shout and dashed to the altar area. Everyone who made it to the ‘miracle spot’ touched whatever was seeping out of the burning bottles and anointed themselves with it.

Controversies have since trailed the alleged miracle.

Dean Of Law, Professor Edeko of Ambrose Alli University beaten by Police

Professor Edeko

Despite the campaign of the Inspector General of Police on decent policing in Nigeria, a rogue police squad in Edo State is thwarting the efforts. Martins Ifijeh chronicles how the squad serially brutalised a Professor of Law in Ambrose Alli University with cutlasses, hammers and teargas for daring to ask questions.

When the Dean, Department of Law, Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Professor Sunday Edeko woke up in the morning of March 13, he did not envisage he would be serially brutalised for over six hours like a common criminal and would end up in hospital bed to treat the wounds and pain that came with such brutality.

He had left the house that morning like every other civil servant, when he saw a young boy he identified as a relation of the former Speaker, Edo State House of Assembly, Thomas Okosun, in a parked police van, which made him slow down and asked the boy what he was doing in the van.

Little did the Professor of Law know that his decision to ask the boy question at all, would be all that the rogue police squad, needed to use cutlasses, hammers, teargas, their boots, blows and slaps on him, claiming they were directly from the Commissioner of Police, Mr. Haliru Ugwandu’s office and acting on his command.

Professor Edeko

Narrating his ordeal to THISDAY, Edeko said on that particular day, when he slowed down to ask the boy what was the issue that he was put in the van, before the boy could reply, an armed man who was not on police uniform told him to get away.

“Without even giving me time to move or offer an explanation, he used a hammer to hit my right hand. That was their first assault against me. I was surprised why a trained police officer would descend to such level of brutality against an unarmed and peaceful individual. I managed to park the car some metres away and alighted from the car. At that point, about five armed men who were not in police uniform advanced towards me.

“I clearly introduced myself as Prof. Sunday Edeko, the Dean of Faculty of Law, AAU, Ekpoma. All my attempts to explain that I am a law-abiding community leader fell on deaf ears. They started the second stage of their assault on me. They descended on me with hammers, cutlasses, tear gas, hand and foot. They brutalised me and inflicted injuries on my back, hand and leg.”

He said as soon as he left the scene of the unprovoked attack, he drove straight to the police station to report the matter, where a police officer was released to accompany him to the scene.

“When we arrived there, the attackers had gone. We went back to the police station and I sighted the men who brutalised me in the special anti-cult unit office. I then drew the attention of my police companion to them. They chased the police officer away and descended on me with a higher level of brutality. They said they were different from the “useless police officers in Ekpoma, and were only answerable to the Commissioner of Police, Edo State, Mr. Haliru Ugwandu.

“They fell me, kicked me around the floor in an atmosphere in which they used tear gas on my eyes, slapped me with cutlasses very many times that I could not count. That was the third stage of their assault. When my wife came, they threatened to arrest and charge her with armed robbery, kidnapping and cultism, the crimes they accused me of,” he said.

According to him, their fourth stage of brutality started when they gave him a pen and paper to write a statement. He said they compelled him to write even though he was in pains. “They tore my first two statements because they said I should not write my name as “Professor Sunday Edeko. They equally seized the third and fourth statements because they were not written in the exact way they wanted.”

He said when the men could not lay hold on a crime against him, they then started accusing him of cultism, which him personally has always been against. Adding that throughout the period they detained and tortured him, which was between 9:30a.m. to 3p.m., he made uncountable number of appeals to them that he was a responsible Professor and Dean of the Faculty of Law. “The more I introduced myself, the more they got infuriated.

“They then later accused me of an attempt to go and buy Indian hemp from a woman they also arrested. It was even in the police station that I met the woman for the first time as I never knew her before then. I have never smoked Indian hemp and I hope they will agree for all of us to do examination to know who will test positive of Indian hemp consumption.

“I never obstructed them since all I asked one of the boys after they were already arrested was a simple “what happened?” I have never insulted the police. In fact, I collaborated with them in the past to play a better role in law enforcement. Even after they brutalised me in town, I went to the police station because of the confidence I have in the police. Only a fool will obstruct and insult the police and still go to the police station to seek their protection. I am not a fool. Moreover, an unarmed civilian of my status has no capacity whatsoever to obstruct close to a dozen police officers who were fully armed and who effected arrest already.

“Whenever I failed to write the exact thing they told me to write so as to incriminate myself, the more they slapped me with hand and cutlasses and sprayed teargas on my face. They only stopped beating me after they used their torture cutlass to cut the shoulder of one of the suspects. I have been able to identify the boy they cut on the shoulder through the same hospital we went for treatment. About 12 of us were in their torture office. They detained me behind the counter for about two hours before I was released with the intervention of the Onoje of Ekpoma and the Divisional Police Officer. I immediately proceeded to the General Hospital Ekpoma for medical attention.”

The highly respected professor in the academic community said as though their brutality was not enough, they compelled him to write an apology letter over an incident in which they brutalised and dehumanised him, hoping they could use that to cover their tracks when in fact it only aggravates their degree of impunity.

“They are the people who owe me apology and compensation. I never broke the law. They broke the law with the highest level of impunity and recklessness. I need to add that I am not the only person they have so brutalised as others are willing to step forward for their testimonies.

“Ekpoma is now in a state of fear. They attack people with impunity. They have broken up birthday parties in hotels. They raided Hisbanah Hotel near No 17 Eromon Street and arrested more than 50 boys and girls who were in a birthday party. The owner of the hotel, a former local government Head of Service called Mr. Cyril Abhulimen informed me. They equally used cutlasses and hammer to torture them.”

He said in a society where they arrest innocent people, it cannot be said that they are combating crimes at all, adding that Ekpoma has become a town under siege.

‘Their leader in the anti-cult office who joined other police officers to brutalise me is ASP Ojo. One of the attackers is Mr. Harrison whom I later learnt to be a native of Illeh. I was released when the Divisional Police Office (DPO) came and appealed to them. I was not taken on bail but simply released.”

He said while the Academic Staff Union of Universities and the Nigerian Bar Association have taken some steps over the matter, he has petitioned Zone 5 Police Headquarters and feels ashamed over what a section of the police has turned into in a society where stakeholders and respected citizens like him were advocating for a better society.

Edeko called on President Muhammadu Buhari, the Inspector General of Police, the Police Service Commission, and well meaning Nigerians to help him fight for justice and stop police brutality and the bad image of the police which the new Inspector General was trying to do.

Meanwhile, when THISDAY contacted the Edo State Commissioner of Police, Ugwandu, which the rogue police squad claimed were acting on his instruction, he said he was just hearing of the incident for the first time, and that such persons who carried out the brutality would not have been said to be policemen. He outrightly denied that they are not police men.

Recently, the IG, Ibrahim Idris said the force was determined to rid the country of policemen who continue to soil the name of the police force, adding that all heads of various police commands, including Assistant Inspector Generals of police and commissioners have been advised not to entertain indecency in their various commands.

A recent investigation showed that hundreds of thousands of innocent Nigerians are being brutalised yearly, with over 1000 innocent persons killed recklessly by police officers.

What therefore comes to mind is, if police men can serially brutalise a Professor in the 21st century, what hope has the common man without a voice has? How many have such rogue police squad assaulted and tortured for simply daring to look them in the face.? If truly the IG is serious with the much talked about image salvaging, the Edo rogue squad should be identified and disciplined accordingly by the force.

“Every man is a potential rapist,” — Zimbabwean Police woman says

Zimbabwean Police woman

A Zimbabwean Female senior police officer has frowned to the decision of leaving young girls alone with a family member who is a “male” because every male should be seen as a potential rapist.

The Bulawayo police spokesperson, Inspector Precious Simango explained that there is a very high chance that abusive sex might take place if males are left alone with young girls.

Simango said, “We want to reiterate that every male is a potential rapist and as such we want to warn the public not to leave the girl child under the guardianship of male relatives.

“We also want to urge the youths not to indulge in activities that may endanger their lives.”

In the last one year for example, Lagos State recorded 4,035 cases of sexual and child abuse the state’s Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Mr. Adeniji Kazeem, has said.

Kazeem mentioned it during a news briefing on the activities of the state’s Domestic and Sexual abuse.

Toke Makinwa reveals how she got the title of her book, “On becoming”.

Toke Makinwa reveals

Toke Makinwa has revealed how she came about the title of her new book – “On Becoming”. She revealed this via a post on Instagram.

The first time author who is continuing her book tour in the U.S. later this month wrote:

Someone asked me why the title “On Becoming”. The Holy Spirit gave me that name. I remember thinking of a name for this project and when I got “OnBecoming…” I wasn’t quite sure why or what it meant in totality but on a flight to Houston yesterday it hit me, I am a work in progress, no full stop till I’m gone. I am unfinished, incomplete, the story is still being written, the race is long and God has given me purpose.

The last few years of my life hasn’t been the easiest but thru it all I have grown, I am becoming. I’ve heard people say “are you the only one to go thru tough times” and my response remains the same. – what did you do with what you went thru? How did you help someone else grow thru your struggle, the purpose is always bigger than the pain, did you learn all you have to keep it to yourself?

It’s ok not to get the vision, it is not for everyone. I feel Empowered, I feel chosen, and again the lord has sent me on another mission. Something big is coming.. #Imusthavemyown#OnBecomingEmpowered #2017mission#onbecomingbytokemakinwa#onbecomingmedatour

TBoss, Marvis and Debie-Rise have found out that their fellow housemate, Thin Tall Tony is a married man with Kids. Here’s a report from Pulse.ng Below:

On two different occasions, TBoss had told Bisola that she suspects that her love interest TTT is a father, however, she didn’t have any prove.

On April 9, 2017, just before she left the house, Bisola found out about TTT’s marital status after she spotted a weeding band on his finger.

In an interview with Pulse Nigeria, Big Brother Naija finalists Debie-Rise, Marvis and TBoss shared their reactions when they found out TTT kept his marriage a secret.

“I didn’t believe it. There were people that were people that speculated. I didn’t believe it,” a surprised Marvis said.

TBoss, who had mentioned it severally during their stay in the house said, “I knew it, I knew it, I knew it. He put up a very good show, but, sometimes, that Papa thing will just come out. I just knew, this guy is married. He was just too fatherly sometimes.”

Debie-Rise expressed her shock saying, “I will say that I’m surprised that he didn’t mention it. But, at the same time, I know that he is a very good actor, so it isn’t surprising.”

TTT who was romantically involved with Bisola, failed to mention his marital status to her. During one of their conversations, he described himself as ‘single by God’s grace.’

Following his eviction from the house, a married TTT told Pulse Nigeria that his relationship with Bisola was just a game.

“Dark-complexioned people can’t go far in life unless they bleach” – this Nigerian lady says

Lopex Morrissa Escandell

If you were born black and still black at age 18, you will never go far in life. I was born black, as in charcoal black but look at me today lighter than Bob risky and successful. Be like me, be like Bob Risky.

She’s probably saying all these rants for attention, perhaps?

Debie-Rise finally explains her controversial ‘kiss’ with a sleeping Bassey

Debie-Rise finally explains

Debie-Rise has explained her controversial kiss with Bassey while he was asleep. Recall, Kemen was disqualifed from the show after he was found guilty of sexually molesting TBoss while she slept.

Following this disqualification, a video of Debie-Rise kissing Bassey while he also slept surfaced online, with many Nigerians calling for the disqualification of the housemate.

The video kicked off a conversation with some viewers demanding to know why the housemate didn’t also get disqualified.

In an interview with Pulse Nigeria, Debie-Rise spoke about the controversial night and the supposed kiss.

“That night, we actually had a quarrel. I can’t even remember what it was about,” Debie-Rise said.

“I don’t actually know how to hold an argument, even when I had something with TBoss and Bisola, I would go and meet them and say, ‘I’m sorry, let’s just trash this thing.’

“I can’t even live with someone and then there’s this grudge that I’m keeping. I don’t know how to do that. I just can’t.”

“So, after the quarrel, he just went to sleep. So, that was me trying to clear – and he wasn’t actually asleep.

Bassey doesn’t sleep on time. And it was a peck.”

Debie-Rise and Bassey had an interesting friendship during their stay in the Big Brother Naija house.

Lol. Blackface shades 2face with Whatsapp post..

Blackface shades 2face

Blackface is one controversial somebody.. He has decided not to back down despite the backlash he has received from Nigerians after he called out TuFace Idibia.

This time in a shade, Blackface shared a screenshot of a “Fake Whatsapp chat” showing how it’d have been had it been the Disciples of Jesus used Whatsapp messenger during their days.

A message from “Jesus” reads:

“One of you will betray me today” and soon after there’s a notification indicating that ‘Judas Iscariot has left the group’.

Of course, the shade to Tuface is clear.. Recall Blackface had once said TuFace really betrayed him.. So with this, he is painting Tuface as Judas Iscariot. Blackface had issues with Tuface since he left the plantation boyz group, so people think he’s indirectly saying Tuface is Judas Iscariot who betrayed his own people then left the group.

To show how sincere he his, Efe went on his knees, noting tha the can “never bite the fingers” that voted him into victory.

Watch the video:

Of course, the video went down well with some, noting that the Big Brother Naija winner is a humble person, while others think his humility is an exaggerated one, especially because he knelt down to thank fans after his return to Nigeria, and now he’s back again to kneeling to apologize.

“He’s overdoing it now,” said one fan, and another added, “I need you to stop with the kneeling down.”
