In what seems to be like a serious occasion, the senator was surrounded by supporters and student leaders from the school as he showed off his certificate to the world.

Nollywood comic actor, Mr Ibu, made the statement in a new chat with Saturday Beats, stating that any man who beats a woman, does so at the detriment of his peace, success, joy and business.
According to him,
My mother spoilt me so much while she was alive and she also taught me a lot of things. I flaunt my wife on social media because of the orientation I had.
Women should be respected and I am one of those that respect women so much. I believe it is a sin to beat a woman. God removed a rib from a man to create a woman which means that women are connected to men spiritually.

On how he started dating his wife, he said:
The wooing period was so serious. She had a boyfriend and I was aware of it. They had a quarrel and I was busy settling it. One day, the guy sent her a text message b which made her cry for two days.
In the text message, the guy said she should leave him alone and that if she said should ever come close to him again, he would leave a mark on her body that she would never forget in her life.
I told her to wipe her tears and promised that I would replace him and be better. Months later, we met in Port-Harcourt and I offered her shelter that night. You know that they don’t leave a goat and yam in the same place; that is how she got pregnant and we got married.”
So over the last few hours, a video of some Christian worshipers emerged online – the video shows people seriously praying for Housemate, Efe, to win the BBNaija show come tomorrow.

Twenty-two year old, Horcelie Sinda Wa Mbongo, discovered at the tender age of 11 that she was HIV positive from birth.
The now beauty queen won the 2017 Edition of Miss Congo UK and plans to return to Congo to carry on campaigning on HIV and AIDS.
According to her,
“I’m happy I’ve won at least something in my life. My story has warmed people’s hearts and that’s the most important thing,” she says.
Horcelie, who is originally from the Democratic Republic of Congo, is studying for a fine arts degree in London.

So a lady who devised a really unsuspecting strategy of using her “pregnancy” to defraud sympathetic Lagosians in banks, has been nabbed.
A victim who fell for her story, Fancy Chikeluba wrote on Facebook:
“THIS CRAZY INCIDENT HAPPENED MARCH 23-3-2017 AT FCMB BANK LEKKI JAKANDE .
When i read linda ikeji blog this evening about this pregnant woman that fake labor to collect money from people.
I felt very bad bcos i was a victim.On 23rd of March 2017 this pregnant lady walked into the banking hall ,i noticed her wit her hand on her waist.she was in front of me all of a sudden water started flowing down n she was crying.
I stood up to help and pple came arnd and i asked her why she was at the bank knowing her state,she told me her husband n sister inlaw abandond her at the hospital and that the hospital referd her to LUTH bcos of her case that requires operation.
Now the question i asked her was ‘why was she at the bank ‘,she said she came to withdraw from the ATM and the ATM refusd to pay her due to BVM issue and her Bank was ECO BANK and she came to FCMB .
I ask my branch manager to assist with the car and pple were helping this pregnant woman .
I gave this woman money and some other pple contributed and my branch manager got a taxi for her to take her to LUTH

Another victim, Jeff Obinani who was conned more recently, wrote;
“SOMETHING DRAMATIC HAPPENED YESTERDAY 31-3-2017 AT DIAMOND BANK AWOLOWO ROAD IKOYI.
WE were in the bank suddenly I notice a pregnant woman whose water bag has just busted, I ask her why she was here that she suppose to be at the hospital by now, she said she came to withdraw some money for the hospital bills but the bank ask her to bring her BVN now BVN cannot be done in couple of minute anymore.I ask people to support and help this pregy woman lo and behold Nigeria with our generosity We started contributing money for her We were able to gather over 20k she left quickly because people around are not comfortable with her condition in the bank, the security man held her hand and arrange a taxi for her then she left.
What happened next:
I was ask to come down Stair and reparked by the security man, if you have been in Diamond bank awolowo road you will know that all the down floors are car park.
Back to the banking Hall I notice the way people were talking has became noisy, some are even looking at me like I did something wrong.What happened:
A man was coming to the bank and saw the security man holding the pregnant woman while coming out, he took his time to look at this woman until the woman left with cab. When he came to the banking Hall he oppenly ask, please did that pregnant woman seek for money, at the end the man said she just came out from GTBANK and they gather about 50k for her.

With the encounter from her victims, the lady has now been identified as Nkem Nwachukwu. One Okey Nwangwu disclosed that lady likes operating in the Lekki/Ajah area of Lagos, extorting money from sympathetic and unsuspecting Lagosians. She has however been arrested.

“This same woman by name Nkem Nwachukwu goes about into various banks in Lekki/Ajah axis of Lagos extorting monies from sympathetic Lagosians by seeking sympathy as her water is broken and entering labour etc.
She will attract sympathizers who she will mention LUTH as her hospital, but after collecting N20,000 or so as the hospital initial bill, the office will arrange a taxi for her and she will order the taxi driver to another direction and alight and will not get to her LUTH.
This seems a new strategy of obtaining by tricks with pregnancy.”

Leader of the Omega Fire Ministries, Apostle Johnson Suleman has come for Prophet T.B Joshua of the Synagogue Church of All Nations.
In a new video making rounds on social media, the Auchi-based preacher said the prophet is “too small” to have allowed some people ridicule General Overseer, Worldwide, of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Enoch Adeboye and the late Archbishop Benson Idahosa in his church without any reaction from him.
Suleman’s attack was in response to one Dr Azuh Mary Ifeoma, who while giving a testimony in SCOAN, mentioned some of the above names including Suleman in a disparaging way.
During the testimony, Dr Azuh said she was asked to sow a N5,000 seed to secure a private meeting with Apostle Suleiman and after sowing the seed, his prayers allegedly didn’t work.
In the footage, Suleiman can be heard saying:
“I will respond not because of me but because of two people, Papa Idahosa and Adeboye. Prophet T.B. Joshua is too small to stand and allow people ridicule Adeboye and Papa Idahosa and keep quiet. The Synagogue is too small to speak against the Redeemed, the CGM, it’s too small.”

A furious Nigerian man, who apparently had a thing for one Chisom on Facebook, has resorted to invoking his village’s gods on the lady after she allegedly failed to visit him even after he sent her money for the visit.
The SMS thread screenshot which was shared by @rilimillz on IG, shows that the man who met the lady on Facebook, got blocked after he sent her N9,000 to visit him in Lagos.
Giving the lady just 24 hours to pay back his money, the aggrieved man says he will also bring in “federal security” asides from invoking the deity in his village.

Samuel Gbanyge, the driver of a truck that fell into a ditch around Remo area, inbound Sagamu, Ogun State, yesterday, said he battled with some unseen forces controlling the steering with him.
Samuel said the battle with the forces led to the loss of control, which resulted in the death of one of his co-travellers with the other sustaining injury.
Three males, including the truck driver, were said to be in the truck, with number plates KRD 776 XM, which fell into the ditch, trapping the occupants.
However, one of them died, while the driver, Samuel, and the other passenger sustained serious injuries before they were rescued by emergency responders, including officials of Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps, TRACE.
The victims were said to have been taken to a private hospital in Sagamu, while the dead body was deposited in the morgue.
TRACE Public Relations Officer, Babatunde Akinbiyi, confirmed to Vanguard that the driver, during interrogation, said he had to do battle with some unseen forces, and that the struggle for control of the truck resulted in the accident.

Nollywood producer and filmmaker, Seun Egbegbe’s brother with two others have according to a new report by Daily Post, been arrested by the Lagos state police for allegedly helping the filmaker rob big phone shops.
The report by Daily Post reads:
‘Those arrested were simply identified as Kazeem and Muyideen and Lekan Yusuf, said to be Egbegbe’s brother.
Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni, who paraded the suspects, said Yusuf, Kazeem and Muyideen usually stayed in the car while Egbegbe goes into the phone shops to get the goods.
Owoseni said as soon as Egbegbe emerged, they would drive away in the car.
He said they were also part of the plan to rob Bureau De Change operators, which eventually backfired and led to the latest uncovered stealing exploits of Egbegbe.
Owoseni said the trio were arrested based on a petition by one Kemi Johnson, who claimed she was robbed by the gang in November 2016.
Owoseni, who paraded the suspects, said they were in the habit of going to big mobile phone shops to steal.
He said: “The gang always targets big mobile phone dealers.
“While Seun, the ring leader, will approach the shop, the rest will be in the vehicle so that when Seun is in possession of the phone, they drive off.”
But the suspects denied ever backing Egbegbe in his operations.
They said Seun implicated them because he was angry they did not visit him in detention.
Yusuf, Seun’s elder brother, said they were not even in talking terms, adding that he received a text message from him that he will deal with him for abandoning him at the police station.
He said: “On the day Seun was arrested at Ikeja, it was my boss that told me that he saw the story on Facebook and went to Area F to see him.
“But after then, he was charged to court and I didn’t go to see him, only for me to receive an SMS from him saying that he heard I was partying while he was languishing in prison.
“He threatened that he will use his power to deal with me. I forwarded the message to our mother. “Two days later, police came to my house and took me to the station. They showed me a petition written by one Kemi Johnson on November 22, 2016 that Seun and his gang came to her shop to steal phone and accessories worth N10 million.
“That only Seun was arrested and later released without her consent and other members of the gang were never arrested.
“I never knew anything about the theft and the purported petition is just concocted to implicate me in a crime I know nothing about by my brother.
“He sent the same threatening message to his PA and promised that we will come and meet him where he is.
“If I am part of his gang, will I go to the police station the day he was arrested to see him?”
Muyideen said he was arrested at the gate of Ikoyi Prisons after going to visit Seun.
He said: “I went to Ikoyi Prisons to visit Seun and on my way out, I saw his girlfriend and I even wanted to join their car, but she told me no more space.
“Then suddenly I just saw police vehicle that stopped in front of me and I was asked to get in.
“I was shown a petition that I was part of a gang that robbed her shop late last year. Seun is my friend and I know him as a movie producer and music promoter.
“Even the day he was arrested at Gbagada for trying to dupe a Bureau de Change operator, I was in the car that took him to Gbagada because he told me he wanted me to accompany him to South African embassy.
“He came down along the way and we waited for him. Few minutes later, we saw him in company of a police patrol vehicle and a mallam. They were taken to Ogudu Police Station.
“The four of us remaining in the car (Lekan, Muyideen and AY) followed them to the station and that’s where the police told us their offence.
“I was not involved in any way with it. Seun just wants to implicate me in an offence I know nothing about.”
