I had a one night stand with a girl I met in one of the popular club in Port Harcourt.
Actually, I met her through my friend’s younger sister on that fateful day. I was half-drunk, but I know I slept with her and discharged her in the morning.
This girl came back last weekend to tell me she is two month pregnant for me. This is someone I slept with just once. I put a call through to my friend’s sister and she told me to send her away, she said the girl is a prostitute and that she just wants to pin another man’s baby on me.
The girl in question has sworn I’m the father of the baby. I’m so confused right now as i don’t even know this girl, so its hard to marry her. She also said she ain’t gonna abort the baby.
So, there’s this trending picture on instagram of a Lady, probably an actress who stepped out looking all shades of sharp on the Red Carpet of the Golden Movie Awards 2016 event.
Her choice of outfit is quite perfect…However what put her off is the cleavage part!
The actress and TV presenter took to Instagram to narrate the unfortunate incident and to show proof of her injury sustained in the ugly encounter:
“On our way home on Friday morning at about 12:45am from supporting DJ Obi at his 10-day attempt to beat world record with two of my friends, we stopped to get Sharwama at Maroccaine Restaurant (a popular 24-hr restaurant in Victoria Island). On our way out, we approached a police stop with three fully armed police officers at Ligali Ayorinde and turned on our inner lights and my friend driving wound down so they can see we were all harmless girls.
Immediately he started accusing her of holding something in her hand, aggressively questioning “what is in your hand?!”. She shows him her empty hands and he goes on to say that he must search the boot and demands we come out of the car. I came out of the car to check this boot with him, he inspected, found nothing and before I closed the boot he quickly walked towards the passenger’s door I had left opened and grabbed my friend’s bag.
She asked him severally to return the bag, and we all started saying “give us the bag!” and then he began to rain insults on us, yelling “What’s in this bag? There is an ‘exhibit’ in this bag! I must search this bag!” while continuously flashing his flash light directly in our eyes like we were criminals. This did not even allow us to see his name or his badge so we know how to address him. Bear in mind we were just 3 girls and officer 2 & 3 stood there doing nothing like they were waiting for other cars to harass. So I picked up my phone to call for help and before I knew it, he forcefully snatched my phone from hand leaving us in shock, fear and we frantically started shouting “give us our phone and bag back!” and even trying to get the attention of the few passerbys incase anyone could help. Insults fly as things get heated up, he threatens us multiple times that he will use his belt on us and then I managed to grab my friend’s bag, but my phone remained in his possession.
He started insulting my parents, “God punish your mother and father! Your father is an idiot!”. He called us stupid, indisciplined etc. repeating himself “Am I your mate?”. I scream “you are holding my property! Give me my phone!
This is stealing! The police are stealing!” and that was when he released his grip of my phone and I started walking back to the car. He chased me and started pushing me and slammed my body against the car. Thank God my door was still open I jumped in, locked the door and my friend zoomed off.
As we drove off I felt a sharp pain, realised I was bleeding on my right hand and three of my nails had been broken. How can a police officer assault me like this? This is gross misuse of power and brutality.
We called Police Control, Rapid Response Service (RRS) and the emergency switchboard (112) who forwarded my number to another unit. They weren’t helpful at all, instead asked us what we expect them to do and were frankly not concerned. Someone from RRS advised I go home and call back at 7am. The emergency switch board told me they would forward my details and we should expect a call back… Till now, no call back.”
In consoling the actress, popular R&B singer expressed his disappointment in the officers of the said location where the check point is located, stating a previous encounter there:
Dakore Akande, has been married for six years, although she was off the movie scenes for 2 years, but after her grand return in 2012, she has not slowed down playing roles in some of the biggest movies to grace the screens.
In an interview with Ovwe Medeme, the pretty mother of two talks about marriage, career, motherhood and why she never celebrates her wedding anniversary social media.
“I don’t want to put our stuff out there. Yes I am scared. I should be scared because of the way marriages nowadays go. My mum tells me to cover my yam. Take care of my business.
On his birthday, I post on Instagram but for anniversaries, we like to celebrate it in-house, with the kids.
We have been married for six years but been together ten years.
On what she does differently to make her marriage work, she said: “I try to identify the things we have in common and of course accentuate them.
I work more on those things. We can’t be the same. I think it would be boring. It’s nice to complement each other but for the things that we have in common, we bond over that and we let it glue us more and more together. And for the differences, we try and talk about them. Believe me, marriage is not easy but its very fulfilling.”
On her husband and house chores: “He does, he takes care of the kids. I like that about him. It’s not a typical Nigerian male thing to do but I think our generation is changing.
That dichotomy between a man’s role and a woman’s role, they are merging more and more now and it’s great because it really takes two. It takes two of you to create that child; it takes two of you to take care of that child. It’s not just one person’s job. Even with finances, if you as the mom are capable of doing it, then do it.
And for the husband, if your wife is ill and she’s tired, say ‘oh babe, take a break, let me take care of the kids.’ You should be like that. I think we are just at odds with the old way of doing things, they way our parents used to, the way we want to do things. But I think we just need to forge a new chapter. We can’t keep doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.
On speaking Yoruba fluently: “A little bit, but I understand it very well. When I speak Yoruba, it’s terrible. Sometimes they call me for Yoruba films and I tell them, you want to laugh at me abi.
For my husband, he grew up abroad. He went to school abroad. He understands it but his speaking is just as bad as mine. I grew up in Lagos so being respectful is second nature to me so I think it really helped.
On her spirituality: “Oh yes, I’ve even grown between then and now. I’m even much more spiritual now. I think it started from the time I had locks. People started to know that this is somebody who’s obviously very conscious. I’ve always been conscious. When I found my consciousness, I just tried to keep on reading more, asking questions and being interested in other religions and trying to understand people better. And it’s brought me to where I am right now. I’m very accepting, very calm and I love it. I hope that I continue to grow spiritually because we grow from stage to stage. I don’t want to stay stagnant in any way.

A man who has suddenly found himself in serious trauma over a new revelation he made, has come out to seek immediate help.
My name is Samuel. I am a fashion designer. I have been dating a girl for the past four years.
Though, we are from different ethnic group, I truly love her because she’s got all the qualities I need in a woman.
She’s currently in her final year in one of the universities in the South-South.
Few weeks ago, I went to visit my doctor friend to inform him about my wedding and he asked if I had done my genotype test. He was shocked when I told him we haven’t done the test.
He then advised us to go for the test to ascertain our genotype.
I also informed my fiancee who is in school to do same because she doesn’t know hers. She did that almost immediately and told me the result was AS.
I just did mine only to discover that I am also AS.
The doctor advised me not to marry her because we may end up giving birth to a sickler.
I am afraid of telling her because both of us have sacrificed a lot for this relationship. She has been with me even when I had nothing and I don’t want to lose her. Another fear is that she may hurt herself if I tell her the wedding won’t hold.
She’s been troubling me to tell her my own status but I told her I haven’t done it.
I need advise. Is there anyway out for us? Do we have any hope?
At the moment, I’ve bought everything needed for the traditional marriage and I am afraid of telling my fiancee and my in-law the latest development.

Following the Zenith Bank-Fayose drama that has amused Nigerians in the last couple of days, the identity of the bank manager who knelt down before the governor has been allegedly disclosed.
A Facebook User, Dolapo Adejobi who claims to be in the know revealed that the said manager is a protege of the governor who was placed in the bank’s employment on the orders of Fayose.
Read the allegations below:
“The man Kneeling down in the picture below is Bunmi Falana, a.k.a Bumshaka. Bumshaka is one of the Ayo Fayose’s boys together with Goke Olatunji [G.O.K] Fayose’s P.A in the past. Goke and Bunmi were together with Ayo Fayose during the 2003 Governorship struggle against Otunba Niyi Adebayo the then incumbent Governor.
“When Fayose emerged as the Executive Governor of the State, he appointed Goke as Personal Assistant, while Bunmi [Bumshaka] was said to inform Fayose that he preferred a career job, hence he was fixed with Zenith Bank via the capacity of Ayo Fayose, and for his banking purposes.
“He was brought in to handle all his banking transactions till 2006 when Mr. Fayose was chased out of Ekiti State Government House following his impeachment. After this regrettable rein of Mr. Fayose in 2006, Bunmi Falana [Bumshaka] was transferred by Zenith Bank to Ogun State until 2014 when he was expectedly transferred back to Ekiti at the commencement of the June 21, 2014 Governorship Election Campaigns in the State as requested by Gov. Fayose.
“This transfer request and the promotion of Bunmi as the Branch Manager are part of the conditions Gov. Fayose gave Zenith Bank before he could have confidence in any transaction with the Bank. About the ongoing drama titled, Ayo Fayose’s Election fund by Zenith Bank; Fayose strongly felt disappointed in his boy [Bumshaka] in which the said boy realize and thereby resolved to beg his boss who by his chances rise to his present status in the Banking job.
“To the notice of the General Public, Bunmi Falana a.k.a Bumshaka begs Gov. Fayose within his individual capacity, and NOT on behalf of the Zenith Bank. The way Bunmi Falana dramatised, by kneeling down to beg Gov. Fayose in the presence of the Zenith Bank Executives was strange, but left with no choice than to be short of words.”
