A fresh college graduate, Jelina Latrice posted an emotional photo and message to her son following her graduation.
She wrote:
“Dear Karter, For all those nights you had to fall asleep in the library, for all those times you had to watch cartoons alone because I needed to do homework, for the early mornings in daycare because I needed to be in class to being the last one there because I had to work, most importantly for the moments of separation because I needed to get this done, Thank you.
You are the motivation for my heart to keep beating. I love you more than words can say. I finished because you needed to see me do it. I’m not strong because I want to be, I’m strong because I’m your first example. We’ve seen a lot and overcame a lot more. To infinity and beyond, a mother’s greatest love”
The Nigerian entertainment industry is one that has seen a number of lovebirds come together and fall in love with each other despite being in the same profession.
About a year ago, it was revealed in a report that surfaced online that Singer Simi was in a long term relationship with YBNL singer, Adekunle Gold.
The two reportedly managed to keep their relationship on the low and it has been that way as both of them debunked the report at the time and are yet to reveal whether they are truly in a relationship.
Falz and Simi’s story is an amazing one as they both seemed to have chemistry from the onset, as they’ve both made great music together.
Simi’s hit single titled ‘Jamb Question’ broke the singer into the limelight and it featured Falz Tha Bad Guy who acted as Simi’s crush in the song with a lovely video to match.
Just when we thought we won’t be seeing the two singers together, they once again made magic in the studio with the song titled ‘Soldier’ which had a theatrical video showcasing the love between these two. Everyone loved the video and the mini movie shot for it made everyone love Simi and Falz even more together.
While Simi and Adekunle Gold have been keeping their relationship on the low, it appears that Falz is totally star struck on Simi as his social media page shows tons of photos he’s shared poskfing with the singer.
Below are some of the comments from the fans and it even got so intense even Falz had to talk about it via his Snapchat.
We’re not sure what’s happening among these three people, but whatever it is, we think they should let us know soon in order not to cause confusion.
Falz and Simi have even gone ahead to cover magazines and it appears that they might just be a thing, but arms akimbo!

Yesterday marked the 8th anniversary of the death of Dele Momodu’s mother, and the Ovation magazine publisher took to his page last night to share her deathbed photos and also write her a tribute.
“Maami had been sick off and on but I never knew she would go so soon at age 84 as I wished she would stay much longer… I soon received the final bad news from my older brother and guardian Angel Prof Oladele Ajayi: Dele Dele Dele our mum has gone home to rest…
As the last born of my mum, I was naturally her pet and the news of Maami slipping into coma left me totally devastated!”
I will forever treasure that last moment we shared together before Maami left this world in 2007… As I wept knowing she may soon depart, she said those prayers… Jeesu o wa pelu re… Jesus will be with you… Rest on in your Lord Maami..”

Dance-hall singer, Burna Boy, has shockingly admitted that his most prized possession is his penis. This is coming a few days after a lady, Uju Stella, accused him of getting her pregnant and dumping her, whilst threatening her to abort the baby.
Below is a video of him talking about his penis when asked what he values the most.
Below is what Nollywood superstar Chioma Chukwuka-Akpotha shared with her fans yesterday:
“@ufuomamcdermott n I av sweet story 4 U about @terryforu aka #SorryForYou .We were at the cinema to sell tickets for #WivesOnStrike,Along comes Mr Pidgin (We christened him so because of his tee shirt) who not only ran down a movie HE HADN’T SEEN but also ran down the whole industry calling it #AfricaMagic. We tried to talk to him but it all fell on deaf ears. His friend who was going to see the movie was immediately confused and bought another ticket. We sold out our show and had to turn back a lady who wanted 4 tickets and 2 guys who wanted 2 tickets each. Pidgin was shocked. First of all that the movie had sold out and secondly that guys were coming to ask for it! We saw regret in his eyes & taunted him a little.
“We went in with our greatly supportive audience who had a good time seeing the movie. By the time we walked out, the queue for Pigin’s movie was waiting outside. There he stood gaping unbelievably at us as our audience flanked us to congratulate, take pictures and thank us for putting out a great product. We kept asking them to speak up so he could hear and properly take in the reviews . Pidgin could not take it anymore. He left the line and walked up to us apologizing for his earlier snide remarks. He wanted a picture but we had to politely ask him to wait so the real supporters can take theirs first. Oh did he wait! Chai belle was sweeting us every time We looked his way and saw him perplexed.
“My dear Nigerians, I know we appreciate foreign things due to our own lack of expertise, but for as long as our monies go to Hollywood producers, Hollywood will keep improving and we will remain in your face without the expertise. We cannot grow without your support. Many of us have seen bad Hollywood movies in cinemas but we still go again. Batman had horrible reviews but you kept on watching. We’re asking you to cut us the same slack. Support us. I mean US and not PIRATES who mass dub our products and sell in traffic. Put ur money where your mouth is and watch us grow. Watch us create more employment and grow the economy. Watch us attract tourism &investments without using ur taxes,as we change Nigeria’s image. Terry is now a Supporter. Are U?”
Humans no longer feel the need for discretion. Is there anything we haven’t seen on social media yet??? These are the type of foreign hoes Nigerian politicians import into the country and lavish our treasury on.
A woman, identified only as Mama Oyin, has allegedly abducted a one-year-old girl, Fehintola Lawal, in the Abule Egba area of Lagos State.
Mama Oyin, who disguised as a customer, had on Saturday said she was willing to buy some items from Fehintola’s mother and grandmother, who were retailers in a shop in the Abule Egba area. The items were not available in the shop.
Mama Oyin was said to have returned on Monday around 11am to the shop, and reportedly begged for direction to where she could buy the items in Agege. Fehintola’s mother, Lola Lawal, had offered to go with Mama Oyin, who was said to be a friendly customer.
When Mama Oyin and Lola were about leaving, Fehintola fell asleep and the customer was said to have requested to strap her (Fehintola) to her back, while she (Mama Oyin) handed over her bag to Lola.
The women boarded a tricycle to Abattoir Junction, after which they took a commercial motorcycle to Oko Oba, Agege. When they alighted, they took separate motorcycles to the place where the items were said to be sold. When the motorcycles got to Olaniyi Street, the one boarded by Mama Oyin diverted to another street.
As the girl’s mother tried to pursue the customer, her motorcycle was said to have sped back to the Abule Egba Road, where she hurriedly crossed the road and took a tricycle. Since Monday, Mama Oyin and Fehintola had not been seen.
The matter was reported at the Abattoir and Elere police divisions the same day. Speaking with Punch Metro, Fehintola’s aunt, Lolade Oseni, said the bag Mama Oyin dropped with Lola was later discovered to contain papers cut to currency sizes packed into envelopes, adding that the phone numbers she gave them did not connect.
She said, “This woman met Lola on Saturday. She said she wanted to buy souvenirs, adding that she could also be supplying us goods. She said she was new to the area. Fehintola’s mother, Lola, and my own mother welcomed the customer. She played with them on Saturday before leaving for her supposed house. On Sunday, she came again and went with my mother to church, claiming that her church was far. She came to our house on Sunday.
“On Monday, she came again, saying she needed the souvenirs urgently. Mama and Fehintola’s mother offered to go to Agege with the woman to get the items. The girl became asleep while they were trying to board a tricycle. It was then that the woman offered to put Fehintola on her back.
“When they alighted, they took motorcycles and then another motorcycle. Later, they took separate motorcycles. That was when the woman escaped with Fehintola. The girl’s mother is distraught at the moment. We searched the bag Mama Oyin gave us and discovered that it contained papers, not money. The phone number she claimed to be using has not rung.”
The case has also been reported at the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, Ikeja, and the office of the Police Public Relations Department, Ikeja.
Family members plan to visit the Ogun State Police Command Headquarters, Eleweran, Abeokuta, on Thursday (today) to extend their search for the girl.
The much anticipated autopsy report on late Ronke Shonde, the mother of two allegedly killed by her husband, Lekan, two weeks ago in Egbeda area of Lagos, during a scuffle, is out.
The report, as reliably gathered, reached detectives at about 8.45p.m. yesterday. Although police authorities kept mum over the content of the report, Vanguard was reliably informed that it attributed late Ronke Shonde’s death to some injuries in the head.
It also revealed that water clustered in her head. Again, the report which was reportedly signed by one Dr. Shoyemi, a Pathologist at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, LASUTH, Ikeja, disclosed that late Ronke Shonde died as a result of respiratory seizure.
But it ruled out the possibility of her death due to violent marks on her face. The autopsy was conducted last Thursday, with its result expected to be out in three days. But Vanguard was informed that it was delayed due to the absence of the Chief Pathologist, who reportedly travelled out of the country.
While he was being expected, an inconclusive report, which emerged Tuesday, however, showed that the bruises on the corpse could not establish the cause of her death.
However, sources said further medical checks finally attributed the cause of her death to “respiratory seizure as a result of water in the head and some injuries also in the head.”
With the report, sources said detectives would then continue with the next line of investigation, which reliably will include, among others, the mental stability of Lekan, who is still in their custody.
Recall that Lekan, who initially went into hiding after the incident, gave himself in to the Police in Lagos, where he denied culpability over his wife’s death. He was later transferred to the State Criminal Investigations and Intelligence Department ,SCIID, Yaba.
Tiwa Savage’s marriage to Teebillz which seems to have gone on recess may be far from over considering a recent action of the Mavin records singer on Instagram.
Tiwa Savage who boasts of a followership of 1.6 million on Instagram is currently promoting a music artiste signed to her husband’s music management company named 323 Entertainment.
The artiste who goes by the name Iceberg Slim is promoting his single titled ‘Wave’ in which he featured Davido. Tiwa Savage went ahead to showcase the video teaser to the song on her Instagram page which has attracted numerous views and comments from her fans.
On this note, social media users are speculating a U-turn on the part of Tiwa Savage considering her weak decision of separating from Teebillz who is rumoured to be going through a rehab programme.
This supportive step has been assumed to be a slight expression of the deep bond between the celebrity coupled who enjoyed a high-profile marriage in the year 2013.
Three girls have been saved from death after an evil pastor chained and locked them in a room for weeks to die.
They were rescued by an off duty constable, Mantwa Kekana (49) from Chiawelo, Soweto, Gauteng who revealed that the teens told a story of hunger and fear, and how they had escaped eventually ending up at the cop’s house.
Almost shedding tears, Mantwa said she was still in her pyjamas on Friday morning when she heard a knock at the door.
“I was greeted by three children aged between 14 and 15. They were crying and tired,” said the cop from Moroka Police Station.
“They couldn’t talk and they were shaking. I took them into the house.”
According to The DailySun ZA, Mantwa, who is known to one of the children, said she gave them a hot bath before feeding them.
“The three girls said they met at the church in Lenasia after they had been taken there by their parents. They had been there for about a month,” said Mantwa.
“The girls said they were given baked beans once a day, only at night, and they were always hungry.”
The children told police that the pastor chained them up and kept them in one room.
They also revealed that it was their parents that brought them to the church before leaving them there.
“We only went out on Sunday to go to church,” said one of the girls.
Very often they did not get food. They were given a sour liquid which gave them stomach aches. The children said they were taken to the church, a series of shacks with one central shack, at night.
“When the pastor starts praying, people fall down and speak in tongues. They sprinkle water around the church,” the girl said.
“It was very scary on the church premises.”
The kids said they escaped when one of the church members forgot to lock the door. They went outside and jumped the fence.
“We left other people there who were afraid to escape with us,” said the girl.
The kids said they believe they are being tracked.
“Wherever we are the pastor knows, and I am afraid he will track me down,” she said.
Police spokesman Captain Mpande Khoza said since there has been no official comment by the police station, they can’t comment.
Police took the children to their families.
“The parents of the teenagers must come to the police station to open cases on behalf of the children,” he said.
I know nothing has been new about the news until recently, all of a sudden, your government seats became uncomfortable for your speeches.
It’s is a shame to understand that at this point the president of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari has a finger in your nostrils. I can’t possibly make a list of falling elbows in the arms of the government but irrespective of the fact that “ruling is an individual thing”, senators and governors who are/aren’t in same party with the president (APC) have joint forces with President Buhari against our dear country, Nigeria.
If I must say, your individual common senses have lost flavour of success, then you’ll should blame your lack of integrity to stand behind the future of your children and the entire nation.
Thinking of where this power is coming from, be it above that the world power has influence in the president’s decisions that possessed the entire three layers of your individual brains including the optic nerves, it is appalling to note that none of you is original. Eating again and again with the dirty plate can only give a disease yet to be found.
It’s high time that we recognized the resources Nigeria has and can daily create. It’s not just killing but inappropriate for a ruler to work with a blunt pencil in any design of nature.
Obey your father and mother for your days may be long doesn’t necessarily mean you can’t correct a wrong message with the right information given by your parents to you. Despite, in this case, the Senate has refused to be Buhari’s and the entire governors’ father in the government.
Now I’m done with the parables to face the fact. It’s new to note that President Buhari makes and execute laws in Nigeria while the law makers, the Senate and the governors now support him.
It’s been definitely more than a year President Buhari made himself the minister of petroleum, with the APC flag, promised Nigeria that his guts were from the gods as none of his campaign goals yet, has emerged. You can’t tell the deaf that war just begun.
You all are there screaming one Nigeria in your comfortable homes watching people die daily, starve, fight to die, live to survive, hate to be awake, and yet feel reluctant, unwilling to act right. I wish I could call all of you responsible fathers, for I know your sons/daughters in SUV jeeps with air conditioners wired to their lives, reading this, see the cry in the suffering Nigerians.
Rulers of tomorrow is now a royalty in my country because your sons/daughters have already imagined themselves in government positions they don’t merit with academics or mental stability.
As we all know, the best way of defense is to attack. The NLC strike lead by Ayuba Wabba is fighting for the rights of the labour market and entire citizens of Nigeria to stop the killing of fellow Nigerians that started from the north and the new suicide cases that just eloped in the east to the sustainability of our entire citizens in provisions of water, food, light and at least good health systems.
You all have loudly said it’s illegal to commence strike but legal not to whisper “impeach Buhari” for incompetence. Now President Buhari is the one saying “No Work, No Pay” for same people he hasn’t paid for months. Even private companies can’t afford to pay their workers now. Some offices of the telecommunications including Airtel Nigeria don’t know when light will be provided (light/fuel) to run their daily services at usual/appropriate office times.
Spare the rod and spoil the child.
Only the money Diezani, the former minister of petroleum in Nigeria, returned can run this country. Now I’m not asking anybody to use the money or tell us where it is. Just 10% of that stolen money that Diezani brought back can fund the minor problems Nigerians face today other than looting, insecurity and corruption you all have collectively been fighting for or engaging in.
Already, people are being stoned down like Stephen in the north. I wait to see more dead people in your different states as shedding blood is now a natural instinct in your nervous systems. If nobody dies today as the NLC strike begins, then I call you all cowards. Keep killing people, vampires bearing the president’s plans.
If you all must continue with these unclear plans of the president, your living children will watch to see you all loose what you built for years for them, integrity. To before warned is to before armed.
Just recently, Olajumoke Orisaguna dumped her former modelling agency, Few Model Management for Beth Models Agency.
And now, controversial media personality, Kemi Olunloyo says her prediction about her, back in February this year, is coming to pass.
Kemi who earlier predicted that the former bread seller turned model was being exploited and might go back to hawking took to Instagram today, May 16, 2016 writing, “Bread seller dumps modeling agency: Money hungry exploitation bastards. Olajumoke the bread seller model has dumped her modeling agency Few Models inc. Her lawyer told we media last week that all the deals they claimed to get her were FAKE and described them as “incompetent”. I predicted this in tweets 3 months ago.

“Adekunle Gold is next in line. After his album drops in June, Kunle may leave YBNL to focus on his own label too.
His new label we gather will be called ‘Gold’ records.
Somehow the trend stays the same. Olamide left ID Cabasa after dropping the YBNL album which became his record label name, Lil Kesh also left after dropping his YAGI album which became the name of his label as well.
Adekunle’s debut album is also titled ‘Gold’ which may very well become the name of his own record label too.”

Activists confirmed to the BBC that Amina Ali was found by a vigilante group on Tuesday in the Sambisa Forest, close to the border with Cameroon. She was reportedly identified by a civilian fighter who recognised her.
Reports say that Amina, was found with a child with other women in Sambisa, following military operations told the civilian JTF members that she was taken from Chibok.

Last week, Phyno teamed up with Olamide to release a new ‘ghetto gospel’ song titled ‘Fada Fada’.
Already, he seems to be reaping the fruits of the ‘gospel’ song. “I’m already playing church gigs. I’m doing it for God. I’m getting paid of course,” he said on Beat FM in an interview with Olisa Adibua, Maria and Osi Suave.
He also took time out to praise Olamide who he’s been working with since he broke out in the industry.

“We have never deleted a verse. No competition. We just let it flow, Olamide is one of the best Nigerian acts and I admire him a lot,” he said.
The relationship between Phyno and Olamide dates back to 2012 when they both released the chart-topping song ‘Ghost Mode’. In 2015 they released a joint album titled 2 Kings.
