The alleged pregnant side chicks of Afrobeat sensation Davido, Anita Brown and Ivanna Bay, recently had an altercation on Instagram as they threw serious shades at each other.

Anita, an American businesswoman, and Ivanna, a French model, have become the talk of town since they went public with their alleged pregnancies for the singer.

Their recent feud started when Anita took to her Instastory to throw subtle jabs at Ivanna. She boldly claimed that her surgically enhanced figure looks way better than Ivanna’s, despite the fact that she also went under the knife.

Anita didn’t stop there as she also criticized Ivanna Bay for attending Davido’s concert in Portugal, insinuating that she is seeking clout and relevancy. She also warned people to stop comparing her to Ivanna because they are not in the same social class.

In response to Anita’s obvious shades, Ivanna slammed her for promoting women’s empowerment while simultaneously body-shaming and belittling her fellow woman.

She also described her as ‘fake’ for claiming to stand for something but acting in a contradictory manner. Ivanna further suggested that Anita might not actually be as busy with her business endeavours as she claims, as she seems to have ample time to engage in online conflicts.

More woes for Davido

The ongoing drama between popular singer Davido and his alleged baby mamas appears to be unending as yet another woman has come forward with claims of having a child for him.

This is coming after a US-based businesswoman, Anita Brown, revealed that she is allegedly pregnant for the singer following which a French lady, Ivanna Bay, also claimed to be carrying the singer’s child.

As if that wasn’t enough, a Nigerian woman alleged that the musician once impregnated her and offered her N10 million to have the pregnancy terminated. It’s worth noting that all of the ladies had purported receipts to back up their claims.

Well, in a new development, a Kenyan lady, identified simply as lillyxspade, has also taken to social media to reveal that she also has a 3-year-old child for the singer, who already has four recognized children from different women.

According to her, someone recently told her that she’s not recognized as Davido’s babymama because she hasn’t undergone surgery to shape her body.

She, however, explained that she decided to keep a low profile because she values her privacy and that of her daughter.

You will recall that he married singer, who is currently embroiled in an alleged infidelity scandal, delivered an exhilarating performance at the grand finale of the 2023 Afro Nation Festival in Portugal.

Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has asked fast-rising music star Asake for a collaboration.

The Zeh Nation boss made this known while sharing a screenshot of his chat with the YBNL signee on his Instagram story.

In a recent interview with Cool FM, Lagos, Spyro strongly asserted that Portable is the one musician he will never collaborate with.

He mentioned their divergent musical tastes as the main deterrent, implying that if he wrote a song for Portable, he wouldn’t be able to play it well.

“Not because I have an issue with him but because our paths just don’t cross. Our kind of music don’t align. He won’t be able to deliver the kind of music I will write for him because it’s not its style,” he said.

The Lead Pastor of The Evening Church in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state, Runcie Mike, has passed on!

This comes only two days after he officiated the funeral service of one of his church members, the 36-year-old daughter of a well-known broadcaster.

According to reports, the Pastor, whose church is located at the Shopping Mall, Tropicana Centre, Uyo, passed away on Saturday, July 1, in Uyo after a short illness. He is survived by his wife and two children.

Initially, when the news emerged, some church members thought it was fake. However, the church leadership later confirmed the sad news.

The church requested prayers from the body of Christ during this time of grief, particularly for the Pastor’s immediate family.

In other news, a Nigerian student identified as Ifeanyichukwu Oseke has reportedly gotten into a brawl and was tragically stabbed on Sunday night at a Scarborough plaza in Canada.

The tragic occurrence occurred at Brimley Road and Eglinton Avenue East just after 7 o’clock in the evening, according to the Toronto Police.

“Information was received that two individuals had been fighting in the plaza. One of them had some serious injuries that required an emergency run to a local hospital,” said Toronto Police Service Duty Inspector Jeff Bangild at the scene Sunday night.

It will be recalled that social media was set abuzz last week after US-based businesswoman, Anita Brown and French lady, Ivanna Bay, claimed they were carrying the singer’s child.

Amid the controversy, Chisom posted a video on TikTok in which she claimed she was previously impregnated by Davido and terminated the pregnancy.

Chisom, who claimed to be a “victim,” also shared a video of the musician in bed with her as evidence, as well as screenshots of their chat after he reportedly instructed her to terminate the pregnancy.

A young Nigerian lady, simply identified as Chisom, has taken to social media to allege that Nigerian singer Davido impregnated her and promised her money to terminate it.

This comes after two other women—a US-based American businesswoman, Anita Brown, and a French lady, Ivanna Bay—announced that they are carrying the singer’s child.

Chisom, who claimed that Anita and Ivanna’s revelations gave her the courage to speak up, stated that she once had an intimate relationship with Davido that resulted in a pregnancy.

However, she alleged that Davido asked her to terminate the baby, promising to send her N10 million. She claimed that the plan was for him to send her N3 million first and then N7 million later, but he reneged on the promise.

To support her allegations, she shared purported chats she had with Davido and a bedroom video with him.

“I was a victim of Davido too. I was once pregnant for Davido. He told me to remove it and even if I come online that nobody will listen to me, because he has fans. JAMB withdraws result of Anambra student who secured a N3million scholarship after faking her result

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has revealed that a female student, identified as Ejikeme Mmesoma, inflated her result and falsely proclaimed herself as the top scorer for the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

This was made known in a statement released on Sunday, July 2nd by JAMB.

According to the statement, Mmesoma’s actual score in the examination was 249, contrary to the 362 she has been claiming.

Mmesoma is also said to have received a scholarship from Innoson Motors as a result, and the Anambra State government was planning to honour her before the truth came to light.

The board said it would withdraw her result and prosecute her for tampering with its result.

The statement read,

“The attention of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has been drawn to several publications in both print and online media celebrating certain candidates for being high scorers in the 2023 UTME.

The Board is constrained to set the records straight and wishes to state unequivocally that many of the results which many of these candidates are parading are fake. In many instances, some of these candidates had actually obtained far lower scores than they are claiming and had used some funny software packages to manipulate their results to deceive unsuspecting members of the public.

The most pathetic of them all is the case of Miss Ejikeme Joy Mmesoma, who claimed to have scored 362 in the 2023 UTME and was awarded a N3m scholarship by Chief (Dr.) Innocent Chukwuma.

She was even set to be honored by the Anambra State Government when one of its top officials put a call through to JAMB to confirm her claim, only for the Board to reveal that Miss Ejikeme Joy Mmesoma had actually scored 249 and not the 362 she claimed. She had manipulated her UTME result to deceive the public and fraudulently obtain scholarships and other recognition.

The Board would like to state that the likes of Mmesoma are still out there deceiving those who are always in a hurry to bestow honors on candidates without confirming from the Board.

A similar case was that of one Atung Gerald in Kaduna, who claimed to have scored 380. His ethnic group had taken the issue up, requesting that he should be given special recognition, only for the Board to disappoint them with the incontestable fact that Atung never obtained the 2023 UTME application documents, let alone sitting the examination.

The Board would, therefore, advise the public to always cross-check these claims by candidates with the Board before rushing to honor them with undeserving awards, as certain software has been created to fake their version of their results and put the same out in the public space for fun, and this is what the sponsors of these candidates are using to defraud good-spirited Nigerians such as Dr. Innocent, the founder of Innoson Motors, who sincerely desires to celebrate academic excellence by investing in the education of a young Nigerian.

We commend the likes of Dr. Innocent Chukwuma and wish to encourage other Nigerians who desire to invest in the future of genuine youngsters to never be discouraged but to always ensure that they get the authentic results from the Board, as done by the Anambra State Ministry of Education. Otherwise, they will be celebrating criminality, as this is just another new fraudulent method in town. However, these candidates only succeed in manipulating what they are holding, as the authentic results are with the Board and will be transmitted to their schools of choice at the appropriate time.

It should be noted that Miss Mmesoma had sent a message to the Board’s platform to request her UTME result, after which she manually inflated her scores and pasted the same on the 2022 UTME result sheet. Unknown to her, the Board had changed the design of the 2023 UTME result sheet. Her original result remains 249, as nothing can change that. With this ignoble act, Miss Mmesoma will be prosecuted, and her original result will be withdrawn. This is not all, as the Board will, in due course, investigate all candidates claiming higher scores than they actually obtained. Once discovered, such candidates’ original results will be withdrawn immediately, and they will be handed over to relevant security agencies for prosecution.”

Popular Nollywood actress, Foluke Daramola Salako has disclosed a troubling message she received from a troll who expressed his wish for her downfall.

Taking to her Instagram account, Foluke lamented the cruel WhatsApp chat sent by a man identified as Emmanuel Ajibade.

During the conversation, the man insulted the actress and chastised her for acting superficially. He called her a stupid celebrity and claimed that he wanted bad things to happen to her in life.

A Nigerian man identified as Enoch Adegbemisola has taken to social media to celebrate and announce his fatherhood.

He disclosed that his wife finally gave birth today, July 1, 2023, after seven years, six months, and two weeks of waiting.

The grateful father thanked Jesus and said that both his wife and their infant baby were healthy.

Adegbemisola wrote;

A school teacher identified as Pope Itodo has narrated his interaction with a woman, who he dumped after three days of texting because of her terrible punctuation.

The young man vented on his Facebook page about his stressful talking stage conversations with the woman.

Itodo claims that in three days of messaging her, the woman has not used a single punctuation mark. Without the punctuation, he continued, her texts caused him a headache as he tried to understand the proper sense of the statement.

Former Big Brother Naija Season 7 housemate, Doyin David, hasexpressed her opinions on the controversial view of abortion.

“People are not investing in dance like music and movies” – Kaffy laments

Celebrity Nigerian dancer, Kafayat Shafau, popularly known as Kaffy, has highlighted that despite improved recognition of dance as a vital component of the creative sector, investments in its expansion are still minimal.

The former Guinness World Record holder bemoaned the lack of funding given to the dance industry in comparison to other forms of popular culture like music and film.

In an interview with Saturday Beats, Kaffy voiced concern when discussing how dancing may be exploited for purposes other than amusement.

She said;

“The good thing that has happened to dance is that it is now recognized both as a viable business and career. Unlike 10 to 15 years ago when I started, no parent would want to bring their child to dance classes. They did not understand what value it brought to their children, but now they do.

However, I think one of the main problems it does not look like a very structured ecosystem is because of the way investment is going. Money is invested in movies and music, but not in dance. Dance is still seen as a service provider, rather than a part of the industry. The only question is, are people taking it seriously enough to consider it an ‘investable’ entity? Without investment and capital, dance cannot be sustained.

Dance is what holds the entertainment industry together. No one would want to go to a concert and watch an artiste stand on a spot; it would be boring. In the health sector, dance carries a lot of power too. I use dance as a therapy to treat people with trauma, and even autism. I use it to improve the retentive memory of children.”

The Imagneto Dance Company’s founder also mentioned that she had spent a significant amount of her own money on developing a system and technology to assist both dancers and non-dancers, but she also pointed out that many gifted dancers lacked a business mindset.

Kaffy added;

“The problem is not the talent, but the mindset that it can be used to make money. However, that is not peculiar to dancers. We need to furnish the creative industry with adequate knowledge. They don’t need to go to university to understand accounting, marketing, sales, use of social media usage, and other things that can help their careers/businesses. That is what my platform is about to do for young people.”

Veteran Nollywood actress, Joke Silva has revealed the marital difficulties she and her husband, Olu Jacobs, have been through as he fights dementia.

Silva talked openly about the sickness’s impact on their marriage in an interview with media personality and actress, Nancy Isime.

Silva praised her husband as a fantastic husband and parent who carried out his duties without fail.

She reflected on their early years together, highlighting the fact that Jacobs was not only her best friend but also her whole life before they were married but their relationship has undergone substantial adjustments as a result of his illness.

“It has not been easy… There was a point of acceptance for me that everything happening is reality and it is like the person I married, 80 percent of the time is no longer there.

Silva acknowledged the initial challenges they had as they made their way through the early years of their marriage. They have been married for 37 years and have known each other for 42 years overall, including five years of dating before getting married.

A photo of Chichi and a man alleged to be her husband circulated on the internet a while ago, sparking conversations about whether or not she was indeed married.

During an episode of the reunion show, BBNaija level-up winner Phyna also alleged in a fit of rage that Chichi was a mother of two who abandoned her children and husband in Benin City to hustle in Lagos.

However, addressing the rumors during the last episode of the level-up reunion on Friday, Chichi clarified that the man in the viral picture is her uncle.

“I have heard that I am married with kids. That’s my father’s last sibling. How am I married to my uncle?”she said.

Man in debt cries as wife refuses to cook for children or talk to him over failure to buy sallah ram for the first time

A Nigerian man has bemoaned his failure to buy a Sallah ram this year and his wife’s unwillingness to cook for their children or communicate with him.

The man, whose identity remains undisclosed, had an unbroken tradition of buying a ram for each Eid celebration over the past 12 years.

However, in 2023 he was unable to continue this custom due to financial issues, including rising debt and the children’s tuition.

A public official named Abdullahi Misilli posted the story on Twitter, attributing it to the journalist Lawan Bukar Maigana.

The man voiced unhappiness in his wife’s lack of sympathy and assistance during this trying time while remaining anonymous.

He stated that his wife’s actions revealed her lack of affection for him even though he had 100,000 Nigerian Naira in his possession and that she had never supported him in times of difficulty.

Abdullahi wrote;

“Yesterday, a married man, after listening to BBC Hausa news, told me that his wife has stopped talking to him and refused to cook for his children since the first day of Sallah because he didn’t buy a ram for her.

Shortly, two of his children came and asked for money for breakfast. He got upset but I calmly calmed him down. He then gave them some money and they left.

He explained to me that he’s been married for nearly 12 years and never passed Eid without sacrificing but he contemplated this year because he has a huge debt to pay coupled with the school fees of his children. Yet, all his wife wants was just a ram and she didn’t care what happens thereafter.

“I have 100k in my pocket. I would go buy a small ram for her but Allah knows that my wife doesn’t love me because she never supports nor helps me in difficult times.”

The married man concluded that he would have divorced her long ago if not because of his children.

I was just speechless!
