She wrote;
“Someone slapped her 1 day post-cesarean section daughter-in-law in the ward last night. Nothing we don’t see here
I heard the shouting and came in to meet the patient carrying her baby and shoving the woman. Caught her before she fell and called the security. Nurses said they were arguing in a language they couldn’t understand and then she slapped her
They don’t think MIL is mentally ok. Something about abandoning the patient and going to drink the previous night. Sha told security to not let her back in and consoled my patient.”

“Slide 1 photo was me by this time last year-1st June 2022. I was in the middle of a manic episode that lingered for months. One day, I woke at 3am feeling unsafe and ran vigorously to a nearby motor park. I travelled to Lagos from Asaba like a fugitive.
Loitered the streets/hotels and beaches in Lagos for days. It was a rough blend of schizophrenia, depression, identity crisis and bipolar disorders. Using this “made-up” Identity card of me from one of my imaginary companies; I headed for Ghana by boat. Clad in black jalabia, I kept moving. I passed border after border; terrified & unrecognized.
In that moment, I was a “Drifter”. It was at First bank in Ghana through a lovely bank staff named “Esther” that somehow, I remembered me. I remembered home. Esther was an Angel the universe used to open my eyes to the reality I disconnected from. I began to make my way back home. It took days but I returned, albeit sickly & in denial. One year later, l’m thankful to have survived one of my craziest episodes ever recorded.”

Police officers in Osun state have apprehended a reputed serial phone thief, Saheed Abioye alias Anini.
The suspect, who was apprehended by members of the Osun State Police Command’s Anti-Cultism Squad, claimed that he had gone to an Osun state church in the Alekuwudo neighborhood on the day of his arrest with the intention of robbing the worshipers’ phones during their vigil service but had instead fallen asleep.
“I got to the church around 10.45 pm and sat at the back, waiting for the opportunity to steal mobile phones of people who might want to charge at the back of the church. Unfortunately, I was unable to steal anything that fateful day because I slept off as soon as the vigil started and I did not wake up until around 3am. By the time I woke up, the vigil had ended and people were already going home, so I left the church premises. I was unable to steal anything.
When I got to the Alekuwodo area, before Akindeko Market, I saw a police patrol vehicle and some anti-cultism operatives from Dugbe (divisional headquarters, Osogbo). They stopped me and asked what I had on me and I replied that I had my purse and ID card. They searched me and found no incriminating item.
They later took me back to the church to confirm if truly I was coming from there. When they asked the pastor, he said he did not see me in church, so they took me back to Dugbe Police Station. Later, my video was recorded and sent to other stations and some operatives, who had arrested me in the past, identified me as an expert in the theft of phones. I don’t steal cars, motorcycles or any other thing except phones.” he said
He admitted to the police that he had taken and sold more than 18 phones from various locations across the state.
According to the police command, he will be presented in court as soon as possible.
A former corps member, Justina Dauda who recently made headlines after she revealed she completed her National Youth Service (NYSC) program with her virginity intact has opened up on the struggles of keeping her virginity.
The 20-year-old Taraba State University political science graduate stated that her intention was to inspire young girls.
However, she claimed in an interview with The Punch that when she tells men that she is still a virgin, they usually run away from her.
In her words;
“(I call myself virgin corper) because I am a virgin and I made a post about it. People call me the “virgin corper”. Actually, when the graduation list was published before I graduated from the university, seeing my name made me excited because it wasn’t easy for me. I burst into tears. At the age of 19, I was one of the youngest corps members from Taraba State. I got into the university at the age of 15. I was 19 when I arrived at the orientation camp. I lost my father when I was in my first year at the university, so my mum has been trying her best to make sure my needs are catered for. I shed tears when I remember my late dad.
When I was broke, I promised myself not to participate in any immoral act that would make me lose my virginity. It was between me and God, that I will never disgrace my late father. I took my stand and have remained intact till now. No matter the situation, nothing will happen to my virginity.
I faced challenges during my service year. I met people who wanted to date me but sleep with me first. Some people will spoil your name and claim that they slept with you if you resist them, even when they’ve never had a form of intimacy with you.
It takes a lot of discipline to be able to ignore temptations. Some of my friends actually mocked me and told me I won’t come back home as a virgin, why some were waiting to hear bad news about me. I was happy that I finished strong. There is nothing wrong with making the post public in my perception. I want to motivate young girls out there and let them know that keeping one’s self is dignifying. I want to serve as an example to my younger ones; I want people to know keeping one’s virginity is not hard. It requires self-discipline and determination.
It is important to be prayerful, young girls should be content as well; men nowadays want to sleep with you before giving you money. Many young girls now are not content. They want to be seen among big girls. They should also avoid early relationships. The ideal age to start a relationship is 20.
I think virginity is what every woman should be proud of, whether she is a Christian or not. It is so unfortunate that some men don’t value virginity anymore. Some men will tell you they can’t marry a virgin, and that they can’t go through the stress of deflowering a lady. I have met so many men who ran away from me because I told them I am a virgin.”

A dramatic exchange has taken place in the presence of onlookers involving an African American man, his ex-girlfriend, and her 10-year-old kid.
The two adults were arguing about his choice to break up with her when the little child climbed into the man’s Honda and tried to drive off.
The viral video shows a little child trying to start and move the automobile, but his mother did not chastise him; instead, she supported his actions.
The lady’s ex-lover requested that she correct her son and call him to order, but the woman said that since he made the decision to stop the relationship, he deserves what is happening.
The man was observed yanking the youngster out of the car and reprimanding him, but the lad abused him with derogatory language.
He appealed to the young boy to quit so that he wouldn’t wind up in jail or a juvenile detention facility.
He advised his ex-girlfriend to discipline her son and be a better mother, but she responded that her son is fighting for her because she was a good mother.

Reality Tv star, Jenni O has noted that many influencers incur debt in an effort to live up to the expectations that the public has of them.
She shared a lengthy note on her Instagram page while discussing the downside of being a public figure.
According to Jenni O, leading a life as an influencer consists of faking everything. People tend to become dissatisfied with what is real and even when their fave posts an unedited photo, it becomes an issue.
She claimed that in an effort to live up to the high expectations their supporters have for them, some influencers have now gone into debt.
She wrote;
“Nigerian Influencing consists of fake a*s life. Everything is so fake. Post a real picture it’s an issue
Can’t dress a certain way outside because you don’t want to appear somehow. Some of your faves are in debt trying to keep up with this high as* expectation you all have put for them.
Nothing is real. It’s only in Lagos I knew you could rent anything to look a certain way.
Being an influencer is being able to influence every day PEOPLE. I’m annoyed. Everyday people are not doing photoshoots every second, everyday people are not wearing full beats to the gym, everyday people are not overdressing to the grocery store.. I can actually go on and on and on.
Lmao I don’t know what kind of unrealistic expectations you all set Or are you all not seeing your mates abroad. For a country that already seems like it’s fictional must the indutry be a fantasy land as well?”

She got it for her work with Drake on Future’s song “Wait for You,” which took home the prize for Best Rap Melodic Performance.

Although the song was up for the Best Rap Song award, this is the first Grammy she has ever won.
Tems is the second female Nigerian performer to win a Grammy, following Sade Adu. In 1986, Sade received a Grammy for Best New Artist.
A while back, Tems spoke out after she was heavily criticized for her outfit to the 2023 Oscars.
The singer trended on social media on Monday after rocking a flamboyant white dress with a long train and huge shoulder piece that wrapped around her head.
It is evident from videos shared online that those seated behind her struggled to see the stage because her shoulder piece obstructed their view.
This sparked a huge controversy online as some netizens dragged her to filth for her choice of outfit to the star-studded event.
Many tagged her “rude” and “selfish” for blocking the view of others in a bid to make a fashion statement.
Following the backlash she received on the internet, Tems took to her Instagram page to release official photos of her outfit to the event with a dramatic caption.

Nollywood actress, Angela Eguavoen has revealed the reasons she is unable to have a romantic relationship with or even wed a “mummy’s boy”.
Angela noted in an interview with Saturday Beat that while she wants a partner who respects and listens to someone in his family, she wouldn’t marry a mummy’s boy.
“I cannot marry a mummy’s boy. He has to be a man of himself. Of course, I want a man that has someone in his family that he respects and listens to. He has to be someone who keeps to his words, and cannot be easily swayed,” she said.
She also stated that she won’t allow any relatives in her home. She said;
“No family member will live with me and my husband unless she (mother-in-law) is sick and is in need of attention. I am a busy woman and not the type that would sit at home to take care of anybody. I am of the opinion that in-laws living permanently with a newly-wed couple is not good.”
Speaking on fake friendships in Nollywood, the actress noted that she didn’t have many friends in the industry so she could not relate.
In her words;
“I don’t know about them. I do not keep many friends. I have just a few of them and they have all been true to me. I believe friendship should not be a one-sided thing. If we (friends) are benefiting from each other, the person won’t think I am using them.
But, one way or the other, one person will outdo the other at some point. However, that one person is doing better than the other does not mean they cannot do better later.”

Notable political activist, Reno Omokri has tackled reality tv star, Pere Egbi after he said disagreed with his subsidy opinion and referred to Nigerian politicians as ‘big-time thieves’ compared to Ghanaian politicians.
Speaking in support of the fuel subsidy removal, Reno stated that he had recently returned from Ghana, and they do not offer cheap or subsidized fuel that allowed the country to focus the extra income on developing their economy.
See his post below,
Reacting to his claim, Pere argued that Ghanaian politicians were better than Nigerians who always siphoned the country’s funds for themselves.
He wrote;
“Ghanaian politicians are not as callous, self centered, evil, big time thieves, manipulative and disgusting like Nigerian politicians. I’m sure they pilfer money every now and then in Ghana but they get the work done.”
Reno Omokri who did not agree with Pere dubbed his post unpatriotic and urged him to use his platform to promote the Nigeria positively since the country was not as bad as he painted it.
He wrote;
“Dear @PereEgbi,
Thank you for your feedback. It might be a good idea if you use your celebrity to project Nigeria positively. Nigeria is not as bad as you paint it. I urge you to view the World Misery Index, published by The Hanke Index. Ghana is in the Top 20. Nigeria, according to the Index, is far better than Ghana in terms of Human Development.
Lagos State alone, with just half of Ghana’s population, has a GDP that is more than that of the entire Ghanaian nation.
As a participant of #BBNaija, you won a made in Nigeria car. Made in Nigeria mind you, not assembled in Nigeria. I believe it was an Innoson. Does Ghana have a made in Ghana car?
If you had been Ghanaian, would you be as big a star as you are today? Does Ghana even have its own version of Big Brother?
After Big Brother, you have become a Nollywood star. Would that have been possible if you were Ghanaian? Even Ghanaian actors are fleeing to Nigeria to make it big. Probably Ghana’s biggest music star, Shatta Wale, has publicly said NIgeria treats her stars better than Ghana does. Please Google it.
Ask Senator Ben Murray-Bruce. He and I just returned from Ghana, where we met with John Apea, the Ghanaian Africa Movie Academy Award winner, who was frustrated out of acting because the Ghanaian movie industry is depressed, like the rest of their economy.
Who got their economy depressed? Certainly not the Nigerian politicians and leaders that you are insulting here. Ghana’s economy is on the brink of collapse. Research it. They are begging the IMF for $3 billion bailout. If not, the government can’t even pay salaries.
Was Ghana able to evacuate ALL her citizens willing to leave war-torn Sudan even before Britain and America, like Nigeria, did? We not only evacuated them for free, we even gave each evacuee ₦100,000 cash, ₦25,000 airtime, a SIM pack, and food provisions.
Was Ghana the first country in the world to overcome the Wild Ebola outbreak even before the U.S. and UK? Yes, Nigeria did it in 2014 under Jonathan. Please research it. If I lied, I would pay you $10,000.
Pere, Nigeria has given you so much. To whom much is given, much is expected. Respectfully, would it be asking too much if you could be Nigeria’s brand ambassador rather than her brand de-marketer?
I urge you to be patriotic and never undermine your country and elevate a neighbouring nation over her.
Thank you for your feedback. It might be a good idea if you use your celebrity to project Nigeria positively. Nigeria is not as bad as you paint it. I urge you to view the World Misery Index, published by The Hanke Index. Ghana is in the Top 20. Nigeria,… pic.twitter.com/wnFMxo5vOm

Khafi, a mother of two, revealed this in a post shared on her Instagram page today, June 2. She said her major fear is losing her own identity to motherhood and being solely recognized as a mother, without any other accomplishments or pursuits.
The mother of two boys, Malakai and Mikah, said this concern has been weighing heavily on her heart for quite some time. However, she has recently made the decision to embrace motherhood wholeheartedly and not shy away from it because it’s a beautiful experience.
She shared a lovely photo of herself and her sons fast asleep in bed with the lengthy caption,
“Long caption alert!! Hey everyone, it has been a while, again lol. We are six months into the new year and I haven’t been online as much as I’d have liked!! Thank you for all the dms checking if I’m okay and letting me know you missed me, I missed you too !
Truth is, my fear after becoming a mum was that I would be viewed only as a mum. I was so afraid of what my reality was becoming and how fully encompassing motherhood was that I just preferred to be offline and didn’t want to “bore” anyone with my new reality lol! But the truth is that motherhood is everything BUT boring! I am a multifaceted blessed woman with many parts of me and they all still exist (my dreams are STILL valid and you’ll be seeing more of them), but right now one of the most important roles to me is being a mama to these two baby boys @malakaiandmikah .
So I’m not going to run from it or hide it anymore. I am a mama and proud, and yes I’m absolutely exhausted most days and nights as you can see from the picture! But when my husband @gedoni captured this photo after both our boys ended up in our bed yet another night, I couldn’t help but stare at it again and again. It’s just raw and real and I love it. I am now in my motherhood era unashamedly and you can come along for the ride ”

Popular Nollywood actress, Judy Austin has opened up to her husband, Yul Edochie about a dream, she had about becoming a nation’s president.
The mother of two shared this with her husband, who was the driver, during a conversation in the car.
According to Judy Austin, she dreamt that she stepped out of the United States of America‘s presidential jet, the Airforce One while an entourage of dignitaries welcomed her.
She continued to emphasize how perplexed and helpless she was to piece the dream together. Judy claimed that if she had been an American, possibly one with political ambition, it would have been a simple dream.
However, her husband chimed in and urged her that it might not necessarily be the president of the United States but perhaps that of her country, Nigeria.
Yul Edochie went on to say that a dream is the start of reality and that his wife only needs to work to make the dream come true. She was relieved to have the puzzle pieces fit together as the pair gleefully laughed over it.
In her words;
“In this dream baby, I had a dream I was coming down from, What do you call the name of the president’s jet .. Airforce one! I was coming down from Airforce One with dignitaries greeting me standing there. I’m like, I don’t understand what is happening. I was even confused in the dream too. I don’t understand it. Why will I be having a dream where I am president to the Americans.”
A Nigerian man, identified simply as Nagaziman, has informed women that a man’s lack of financial commitment should be seen as a warning sign.
He made this assertion in a post shared via his Facebook page on Friday, June 2. According to him, a man who truly loves a woman would show his affection by spending money on her.
He, however, clarified that this doesn’t mean she should take advantage of him and treat him like an ATM card.
Nagaziman further emphasized that a man’s lack of financial commitment in a relationship is a huge red flag.
He wrote,
“Sisters, if he is in love with you he will spend money on you.
I am not saying you should turn him into an ATM.
If he is not committed financially, use your head.
That’s a red flag.”

Popular Nollywood actress, Yvonne Jegede, has finally addressed reports that she secretly tied the knot with her colleague Regina Daniels’ husband, Ned Nwoko.
A report recently made the rounds online suggesting that Yvonne had secretly married Nwoko and become his latest wife.
A blogger who started the rumor also claimed that Yvonne deleted all her photos on her Instagram page after the secret wedding.
However, in a post on Friday, Yvonne categorically denied the rumors and dismissed them as baseless and unfounded. She also urged the public to disregard such false information.
“When many people tell you they know ‘something’ is happening or believe something has happened, you ask them how they got to know, and they tell you they read or heard it on the Internet. Oftentimes, they heard it from idiots like the person talking in this shameless and false post.
“How could you be this bold about falsehood? How can you lie confidently? How can you intentionally tarnish people’s images and damage relationships all because you want to attract people to your blogs?
“This funny post is evil and false in every sense.” I won’t dissipate energy fighting you. Karma is already dealing with your destiny because if you have one, you won’t be all gassed up about other people’s lives when yours is tattered.
“How does deleting my photos from my page give off anything?” The effrontery to mention my son set, I suppose give you one dirty slap.” She wrote on Instagram.
