Lady with AS genotype shares how her partner’s genotype fluctuated from AS to AA, following their insistent prayers

A true story of how a lady leaped for joy when her Pastor-partner’s genotype fluctuated, after insistent prayers.

The story was shared on X by a lady named @BlessingCh73232.

According to her, a lady found out that she and her boyfriend who was a pastor were both AS.

Being naïve, he convinced her into persistent prayer and fasting.

In the midst of this fervent devotion, they decided to run a series of genotype test, but went back on their knees as the results were negative.

And then, a result came out indicating that the man was AA.

“When he showed me, I leaped for joy. I was really excited. Finally God had done it, heaven has finally smiled on us”, She said.

But the camels back got broken after they tried a different hospital; yes! the result went back to AS.

They ran more tests, but those only proved that the fluctuation was a probable error.

Close friends encouraged them to go ahead with their marriage plans, as there is nothing impossible for God to do.

The boyfriend also insists, saying God is only testing their faith in him.

The lady thought of her unborn kids and how this decision might leave them in pains for life, or even cut their lives short – “I’ll be a w*cked mum to go on with such risky decision”, she adds.

So she left.

The boyfriend tried to convince her but her mind was made up.

Today, she is married to a man with an “AA genotype of course”, and has healthy, energetic kids.

Read the full story below:

I dated a pastor one time.
He’s AS and I’m AS.

We didn’t know this until we were far gone into the relationship and it was a struggle to just bail out.

I was still very young and naive at the time. So, I prayed, fasted for weeks, rolled on his church’s altar.

Sometimes, we have joint prayers, other times we just pray on our own.

In the midst of all this, we ran series of genotype tests to see if God has answered. When it comes out negative, we get back on our knees..

One time, his results came out different. It was AA. When he showed me, I leaped for joy. I was really excited. “Finally God had done it, heaven has finally smiled on us”… So I thought..

We decided to try a different hospital. This time, the result went back to normal, AS. I was confused. We tried another place, the same result. That was when it dawned on us that the previous (AA) was most likely an error..

We sort counsel from close friends. Most of them encouraged us to go ahead with our marriage plans, that God will do it.

That there’s nothing impossible with God.

Pastor encouraged me to stay. He said God has used him before to change genotypes from SS to AA.

He told me that God was just testing our faith in Him.

Weeks later, I left. I chose me.
I chose peace. I thought of my unborn kids and how the wrong decision can leave them in pains for life or even cut short their lives, their dreams and ambitions.

I suddenly realized that I’ll be a w*cked mum to go on with such risky decision.

He wasn’t happy. He tried to convince me. But my mind was already made up.

Today, I’m in a better place. Married to one of the best men on earth with an AA genotype of course.

My kids are all doing well. Alive, energetic and healthy.

Pastor’s genotype didn’t change.

Imagine we got married?

A true life story.

Man stops eating his wife’s food because she breastfed their crying child in public

A man who had consistently stopped his wife from breastfeeding in public, gets agitated after she was pressured to soothe to the baby’s need in a commercial bus.

According to the story shared on X by @AjeboWriter, if the baby starts crying at home, and guests are present, he sends her inside, at the hospital, he politely tells anyone present to excuse her, at the restaurant , he will tell her to go feed the baby in the restroom or the car, when in church.

The wife said at first she flagged it as being protective, but it later became exhausting that she stopped going out with him.

One day, while on a commercial bus to visit his parents, the baby started crying. She refused to breastfeed the child as her husband told her to “manage”, that the baby would be fine if he didn’t suck for few minutes.

Her efforts to placate the baby was futile as the wailing gets louder. The passengers scream at her, but she payed them no attention.

This makes the driver to stop the vehicle, but her husband stepped in, insisting that they don’t have the right to tell his wife to breastfeed his baby.

This angers the passengers and they rained curses on the both of them.

The wife will later breastfeed the child after the driver threatened to burn both of them if she doesn’t.

The husband has since ignored her greetings, refused eating her food for embarrassing him and not standing her grounds.

She is left wondering if there are other women who are being shamed for such.

A yah00 boy angrily tears his international passport after getting sc@mmed

A certain Yah00 boy’s client has allegedly played a fast one on the predator.

According to the story posted on X, by @kenkenlewu, the Yah00 boy has been chatting with this Oyinbo (White) woman for like four mouth.

He will go ahead to procure an international passport, hoping that she was a secured ticket to his “japa” dream, despite her “whining”, anytime he asked for money.

Weeks later she reached out to him that she was coming to Nigeria and needed a naira account to make some transactions in Lagos immediately.

Oblivious, he sent his Opay details; he didn’t want her getting stranded before getting to his state.

The next morning he woke up to a debit of ₦1,000,000. He tried reaching her but she had blocked him.

He attempted to trace her account and a Yoruba name appeared.

The story has caused different reactions on X:

@AkunnaEncanto This Yah00 guy no do freedom at all.

@AdedoyinOo99252 I see many comment of yah00 guys under this post and i wonder wat some of you think 🤔Can’t you work legitimately and earn money rather than fr@ud. You are not happy cos he got scammed too Eyin ashiere🙄🙄

@baizemin028 He should accept it. He shouldn’t be surprised karma might be slow but its still real. But shouldn’t he be smarter than that since it’s his trade?

@Queeneth01olx This is the part where we’re supposed to feel sorry… but the passport detail is doing something to me. He was already planning to japa on someone else’s money. The Yoruba man just ran the same play first.

I apologize — Power minister begs Nigerians over outages

Nigeria’s Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, has apologised to Nigerians over the widespread power outages experienced across the country in recent weeks. Speaking during a press briefing in Abuja on Tuesday, the minister admitted that the persistent blackouts have made life more difficult for households, businesses, schools, and industries, especially during the intense dry-season heat.

According to Adelabu, the government is aware of the hardship the erratic electricity supply has caused. With temperatures rising across many parts of the country, demand for electricity has also increased, particularly as people rely more on cooling systems. He acknowledged the frustration Nigerians are currently facing and said the situation is not what the government wants.

The minister explained that the disruption in electricity supply is largely linked to challenges affecting gas supply to power plants. Nigeria’s power generation relies heavily on gas-fired plants, and recent issues involving gas pipelines and supply constraints have reduced the amount of electricity that can be generated and distributed.

However, Adelabu assured Nigerians that efforts are already underway to resolve the problem. He revealed that a committee has been set up to monitor gas supply to power plants and ensure that producers meet their domestic supply obligations. He also expressed optimism that repairs on affected gas pipelines, including facilities connected to energy company Seplat Energy, would soon be completed.

While apologising for the current challenges, the minister said the government expects electricity supply to begin improving within the next two weeks as repair works are concluded and gas supply stabilises. He added that the administration remains committed to strengthening Nigeria’s power sector and improving electricity delivery across the country.

Adelabu further reiterated the Federal Government’s broader target of increasing power generation capacity to about 6,000 megawatts before the end of 2026. According to him, the current difficulties are temporary, and the goal is not just to stabilise the system but to build on previous improvements and deliver better power supply to Nigerians.

Police arrest suspected one-chance operators hiding in Ibadan hotel

Police in Oyo State have arrested a group of suspected armed robbers believed to be involved in using tricycles to rob unsuspecting members of the public. The arrests were made after security operatives received credible information about the activities of the group.

According to reports, the suspects were hiding in a hotel located around the 7UP/Academy area of Ibadan when the police moved in to apprehend them. The operation followed a tip-off from concerned residents who alerted authorities about suspicious activities in the area.

Acting on the information, police officers carried out a coordinated operation and raided the location, leading to the arrest of six individuals. The suspects were identified as Kelvin Daniel (21), Idris Ramon (25), Christopher Solomon (35), Mohamed Telim (21), Taored Aderibigbe (30), and Adekunle Tolani (27).

During the operation, several items believed to be linked to their activities were recovered. These included 18 mobile phones, an Opay ATM card, a National Identification Number (NIN) card, and a tricycle with registration number OYO SHK 508 QP, which authorities say was used by the group to carry out their operations.

The spokesperson for the Oyo State Police Command, DSP Alayande Olayinka, confirmed the arrests while speaking to journalists. She stated that early investigations indicate the suspects are members of a criminal gang that has been terrorizing residents across parts of Ibadan.

Olayinka added that investigations are still ongoing and assured the public that the suspects will be charged to court once the investigation is concluded. She also said further updates will be shared as the case progresses.

Uncle who refused to show up when his relative was s!ck, spends 5M on his burial

An uncle whose s!ck-relative had reached out to for financial assistance, shows up after the relative had passed, to give him a grand burial.

According to the post, shared on X by @Mikeliberation, A boy who was bedridden for three months, had reached out to his wealthy uncle for assistance.

Each time he called, the Uncle will make a promise that never shows up.

S@dly, the boy p@ssed away and was bur!ed.

It was at that moment that this uncle of his showed up; built a VIP tent for the burial and bought two cows for the family. Spending nothing less than 5 Million Naira, in comparison to the 900,000 Naira that the boy needed for his medical treatment.

“What’s the value of a grand bur!al .. when you couldn’t help him stay alive?”, the story teller asked.

Below were some of the online reactions:

@gurl_lambo I don’t think that his uncle’s more is pure, most of them make money but they can’t spend it on family because that is the law of their coven.

@SweetMoMdee I think part of what happens is many think the situation is exaggerated or a lie to extort money. Many underestimate how truly s!ck the person is and take their chances on the person bouncing back. You can’t fake de@th though. By the way I don’t behave like this so I have no way of really knowing that motivates such behavior but it’s very common.

@RaphaelAdumekwe This is a pathetic truth found seen in many of our customs.. the only time people can find help is in their de@th. Very b@d.

@Armanixchange This is nothing short of w!ck3dness. And happens in a lot of families

After the br3@ke up, he will go ahead to support her business, and wish her well.

@thaGuyQriix He didn’t l0se her because she was ‘too much.’ He l0st her because he was too little. A man who feels thre@tened by intelligence isn’t ready for partnership… he’s looking for control. That’s not love. That’s ins3curity.

@WinterFairyEfeM Such a low quality man. Most men in our society don’t like smart women this is why they end up getting married to pretenders who wants to kpa! them after.

CLAW PHONES ARE COMING TO NIGERIA — TECNO’S ELLACLAW LEADS THE CHARGE

TECNO'S ELLACLAW

TECNO is ushering in a new era of mobile intelligence in Nigeria and across emerging markets with the upcoming beta launch of EllaClaw, the first mobile AI agent powered by the OpenClaw framework and built to simplify everyday digital experiences.

Deeply integrated into Ella, TECNO’s AI assistant, EllaClaw operates at the system level, enabling users to complete complex, multi-step and long-duration tasks with ease. Unlike OpenClaw that often require technical expertise, EllaClaw delivers a more seamless and consumer‑friendly mobile AI agent experience. It will be accessible directly within Ella, offering a seamless and intuitive experience that fits naturally into how people already use their smartphones.

TECNO'S ELLACLAW

With the beta rollout expected in the coming months, a select group of users in Nigeriawill be able to experience three powerful layers of capability. At its core is One-Sentence Automation, where a simple instruction, even if casually expressed, can trigger full task execution. From scheduling activities to organizing files, EllaClaw turns intent into action without stress.
Supporting this is Cross-App Data Integration, which allows EllaClaw to intelligently connect data across SMS, calendar, notes, and other apps. This ensures that important information is never missed. Two leaked use scenarios revealed bring this to life: The smart SMS summary feature can automatically categorize messages, highlight priority notifications, and identify those that can be safely cleared. In addition, the daily schedule feature brings together calendar events, notes, weather updates, and curated news into a single, easy-to-follow daily brief.

tECNO'S ELLACLAW

Built on TECNO’s Practical AI philosophy, EllaClaw goes beyond basic assistance. Through a persistent memory system, it gradually learns user habits and preferences, evolving into a proactive digital companion that anticipates needs and delivers timely, relevant support before users even ask.

EllaClaw is also designed with strong privacy protections, ensuring that user data remains secure, isolated, and inaccessible to unauthorized third parties.

This innovation builds on the momentum of the recently launched TECNO CAMON 50 Series in Nigeria. The CAMON 50 Series introduces a powerful blend of advanced AI capabilities and a high-performance productivity engine, empowering users to do more with speed, clarity, and efficiency. With EllaClaw, TECNO takes its AI innovation even further by transforming the smartphone into an intelligent partner for work, business, and everyday life.

More details on beta participation and availability will be announced soon. Users are encouraged to stay tuned to TECNO’s official online channels for updates.

“You no fit dey front make you nor sabi tear steps” – Aso-Ebi lady takes over dance floor after fellow bridesmaids refused to bring energy during their entrance (Watch)

An Aso-Ebi lady boldly took over the dance floor by stepping in to energize other bridesmaids during a wedding entrance.

In the video making the rounds online, the lady appeared unimpressed as those at the front failed to bring enough energy while the bride made her entrance.

While the bridesmaids danced to usher the bride, the two bridesmaids who were frontliners danced calmly, using their hand fans as instruments to maintain composure.  After watching for a moment, she boldly stepped forward, ready to change the vibe, whilst the DJ instantly played a song to match her energy.

With confidence, she began showing off her dance moves, quickly drawing attention and lifting the mood of the moment. Her energy and boldness stood out, turning what seemed like a dull entrance into a lively and entertaining scene.

She noted that Aso-Ebi ladies who are positioned at the front during a bride’s entrance should bring energy and showcase impressive dancing skills.

While some social media users praised her for “understanding the assignment,” others wondered how the bridesmaids she overshadowed felt.

“Marry within your tax bracket; rich groom vs poor bride situations don’t end well,” — Nigerian World Bank legal analyst advises

A Nigerian woman, Vivian Irondi, who works as a legal analyst with the World Bank Group, has shared her thoughts on marriage, advising people to choose partners who are on a similar level financially, intellectually, and academically.

Irondi, a philanthropist and mother of two, made the comment in a post on Facebook where she encouraged individuals to be mindful of compatibility beyond emotions when choosing a life partner.

In her post, she warned that relationships where there is a major gap in financial status or intellectual level — such as a wealthy groom marrying a much poorer bride or the other way around — often come with challenges.

She urged people to consider these factors before settling down, stressing that marrying someone within the same “tax bracket,” intellectual capacity, and educational level could help avoid problems in the long run.

Bayero University Kano dismisses 171 students over fake admission documents

Bayero University Kano (BUK) has expelled 171 students after discovering that they submitted fake documents during their admission process. The decision was taken as part of the university’s effort to protect its academic standards and maintain honesty in its admission system.

The expulsion was approved during the university Senate’s 433rd meeting held on March 4, 2026. This came after the Senate reviewed findings from a report presented by the Senate Committee on Entry Qualification Irregularities, which investigated suspected issues with students’ admission credentials.

In a statement published in the university’s weekly bulletin on Friday, the school explained that the affected students were found to have provided falsified documents when applying for admission. According to the statement, the Senate approved their expulsion after confirming that the documents used for entry into the university were not genuine.

The university said the action was taken in line with its academic regulations, which clearly state that presenting false admission qualifications is a serious offence that carries expulsion as punishment. The school also revealed that the students involved were from different departments and levels, noting that the move was necessary to clean up the university’s academic records.

In a separate case, the Senate also approved the expulsion of a Civil Engineering student, Yusuf Muhammad Sani. The student was accused of physically attacking exam invigilators during an examination, an incident the university said disrupted the exam process and violated its disciplinary rules.
