“Don’t marry a man just because you’re pregnant, you’ll regret it” – Actress Judy Austin warns against early marriage (WATCH)

Nollywood actress Judy Austin has cautioned young women against rushing into marriage, especially due to pregnancy or societal pressure, warning that early marriage has left many people emotionally and mentally scarred.

During a recent TikTok live session, the actress urged her followers to make thoughtful, mature decisions before committing to marriage.

According to her, many young women enter relationships they are not mentally ready for, leading to regret and lifelong struggles.

Judy Austin stressed the importance of self-development and emotional maturity before settling down, noting that individuals must understand themselves and their partners before taking such a serious step.

The actress went on to lament how early marriages have damaged a lot of people, adding that many individuals are burdened with responsibilities they were not prepared for.

She said “The first question you should ask yourself is, Can I spend the rest of my life with this guy? The way this guy is behaving, will I be able to love him, be committed to him, grow with him, and yield with him? You can’t make that decision if you’re still a child.

You can’t make that decision if you’re not mentally ready for that kind of relationship Date people, learn people, understand that you can’t trust anybody except yourself and God. You need to show up for yourself before you expect anyone else to show up for you. So many people are damaged today because of early marriage. So many people have baggage because of it. So many are divorced or struggling to take care of children they weren’t ready for”

Judy Austin concluded by encouraging her fans to focus on growth, prayer, and preparation before marriage to avoid regrets in the future.

Award-winning Nigerian singer Tiwatope Omolara Savage, popularly known as Tiwa Savage, has addressed the viral reactions trailing her earlier comments about being open to becoming a second wife.

In a recent interview, the 45-year-old music star clarified that her statement was made out of frustration and emotional exhaustion, not a genuine desire to marry someone already in a relationship.

Reflecting on her past experiences, Tiwa said her earlier comment stemmed from heartbreak and disappointment in love.

“I was a first wife, where did that get me? I got married as the only wife, but here we are. I’m tired of being heartbroken; maybe I’m getting it wrong. Maybe I should try being a second wife. It’s not my choice, though. I don’t want to. I wish I could tell my truth, but I will be dragged. I don’t want to be, I’m looking for love. Let’s just leave it at that.” She said

The singer, however, made it clear that she does not truly want to be a second wife, emphasizing that what she really desires is genuine love and peace of mind.

Tiwa Savage was previously married to music executive Tunji Balogun, popularly known as TeeBillz.

“God healed me from cancer, but money played a major role” – Pastor Tobi Adegboyega

Controversial UK-based Pastor Tobi Adegboyega, founder of SPAC Nation, has sparked public debate online after revealing that while God healed him from cancer, money played a major role in his recovery.

Speaking during a recent sermon on purpose and destiny, Pastor Adegboyega emphasized that spirituality alone is not enough to fulfill God’s purpose in life, arguing that financial resources are equally vital to achieving divine goals.

The pastor, known for his luxury lifestyle and controversial views on prosperity, recounted how his wealth influenced the speed of his medical treatment while battling cancer.

“God isn’t about religion, Christianity, or labels. To fulfill God’s purpose, money is essential. God helped me survive cancer, but yes, money did the madness. It was money that put me as the number one priority. Money is my servant. Money was the guy that told the hospital, You’re not going to keep this guy on the waiting list for surgery for three months. Money told them, Number one priority. It was money that spoke.” He said

Adegboyega’s remarks have since reignited discussions about the relationship between faith and wealth, with some applauding his honesty and others criticising what they see as the commercialization of Christianity.

Pastor Tobi Adegboyega, whose ministry often attracts both celebrities and young professionals, has long maintained that prosperity and faith are inseparable, arguing that believers should learn to use money as a tool rather than view it as evil.

Ugandan President sparks outr@ge after admitting activists were detained ‘in a fridge’

Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni has confirmed that two missing Kenyan activists, Bob Njagi and Nicholas Oyoo, were arrested and detained by Ugandan security agents.

A revelation that has stirred regional outrage and renewed concerns about human rights in East Africa.

The activists had been missing for over five weeks, sparking protests and calls for accountability from human rights groups and political observers across the region.

According to reports, Njagi and Oyoo were last seen in October after allegedly being forced into a vehicle by masked men following a rally in support of opposition leader Bobi Wine, the BBC reported.

During a televised interview on Saturday, President Museveni admitted that Ugandan authorities held the men, referring to them as ‘experts in riots’ who were ‘put in the fridge for some days.’

He accused the pair of interfering in Uganda’s internal affairs and warned against external influence in regional politics.

“The ones who are doing that game here in Uganda will end up badly,” Museveni said

The president, who has ruled Uganda for nearly four decades and intends to run in next year’s elections, added that the activists were released following interventions from unnamed Kenyan leaders.

Njagi and Oyoo arrived at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi to a jubilant welcome from supporters and family members.

Njagi described their ordeal as harrowing; “Thirty-eight days of abduction was not easy. We didn’t think that we were going to come out alive because we were being abducted by the military.”

Kenya’s Foreign Minister, Musalia Mudavadi, confirmed that their release resulted from sustained diplomatic engagement between Kenya and Uganda.

Human rights organisation Vocal Africa hailed the activists’ return as a victory for civic activism and cross-border solidarity.

Retiring nurse d!es during church thanksgiving after years of service (WATCH)

Tragedy struck during what was meant to be a joyous occasion as a retiring nurse reportedly collapsed and died during her church thanksgiving service, held to mark the end of her years of service in the medical field.

According to reports, the woman had gone to church to express gratitude to God for sustaining her through decades of service in healthcare.

She was in high spirits during the service until she suddenly slumped while dancing during the Thanksgiving session.

Fellow worshippers present at the scene immediately moved to help her; however, efforts to revive her proved unsuccessful.

She was later confirmed dead, a heartbreaking twist to what was supposed to be a day of celebration and gratitude.

Internet users have described her death as a sobering reminder of the toll long years of service, stress, and untreated health conditions like hypertension can take on individuals, even those in the medical profession.

Below are some of the comments;

Such a tragic moment. After dedicating her life to caring for others, it’s heartbreaking that her final act of gratitude turned so sudden and sorrowful. May her soul rest in peace, and may her family find comfort.

“She wasn’t even able to enjoy retirement before retiring from life, so sad. This is not a good Monday morning video.”

From retirement in her profession to retirement in this life. May her soul rest in perfect peace, and may this not be the portion of us and our loved ones.

Media personality Raye condemns the system that protects politicians who abus€ their wives

Media personality, Raye has strongly criticised what she described as a ‘broken system’ that protects powerful politicians accused of abusing their wives, instead of ensuring justice for the victims.

According to her, this should not be happening or allowed to happen in a sane country.

“In a sane country, a senator accused of raping his wife, marrying her at 17, and drugging her would be investigated, arrested, and suspended from office, if guilty. The victim would get protection and justice. But in a lawless one? He’ll deny it, issue a statement, and blame her!” She wrote.

Her statement comes amid ongoing tension surrounding Senator Ned Nwoko and his wife, Regina Daniels, following allegations and public commentary from members of the Nwoko family.

While Raye did not directly name anyone in her post, many social media users have linked her remarks to the recent controversy between the senator and Regina Daniels’ relatives.

The media personality’s comments have sparked reactions online, with supporters praising her for speaking up against the culture of impunity and others calling for due process in handling allegations against public officials.

Below are some of the reactions;

“No. In a sane country, he wouldn’t even dare near a 17-year-old in the first place, let alone marrying her.”

“Since the first time he said his wife used drugs, he should have been picked cos he has implicated himself by not reporting, now Regina has accepted she uses it, and the senator supported her. What other evidence does the count want?”

“The victim is his wife. Consensual rape is unknown to the law in Africa. This is not the UK”

Senator Ned Nwoko’s brother, Chuks Nwoko, accuses him of betrayal and bringing shame to family

Chuks Nwoko, the alleged brother of Senator, Ned Nwoko, has publicly criticized the lawmaker, saying he is reaping what he sowed and that he is tarnishing the family name.

In a video message circulating online, Chuks said his repeated attempts to reach the senator have failed, adding that he felt compelled to speak out as a sibling.

“You are bringing so much disrepute to the name Nwoko. You are not ashamed, but we, your siblings, are ashamed for you.

Senator Ned, there is a God that is attached to your name, but you removed it, and see how you have now turned out.
Your name is Chinedu. As a learned person, you are ignorant of the natural laws that govern our universe. Otherwise, how is it that you, as a lawyer, do not understand that, like the law of gravity, there is the Law of Sowing and Reaping? You must reap what you’ve sowed. You are disruptive, malicious, vindictive, troublesome, a narcissist, self-centered, a bully, lying, controlling, and violent.
However, today is a good day to change things if you will just embrace the gospel of our Lord. Embrace the Prince of Peace.”
He said

Chuks urged Senator Ned to reflect on his actions and seek a change of heart, quoting a Bible verse to underscore the importance of repentance and humility.

He further accused the senator of promoting values contrary to their upbringing and criticized his public image, alleging that Ned portrays himself as self-made despite having been supported through school by a woman named Omoye.

He also claimed the senator has betrayed and harmed everyone who helped him in life, beginning with his elder brother.

Chuks concluded his message by calling on Senator Ned to stop bringing shame to the Nwoko family and to embrace accountability.

His remarks come amid the ongoing tension between the senator and his estranged wife. Regina Daniels‘ family.

The senator had accused his wife of drug abuse, while the latter refuted his claims as false.

Pastor Femi Lazarus alleges U.S. interest in Nigeria is a strategy to create division

Pastor Femi Lazarus, founder of the Sphere of Light Church, has alleged that the recent display of concern by the United States over Nigeria’s internal affairs is not genuine, but a calculated move to create division within the country.

Speaking during a sermon, Pastor Lazarus said America’s statements on the alleged persecution of Christians in Nigeria were part of a broader plan to destabilize the nation.

He cautioned Nigerians to be wary of the sudden attention from foreign powers, alleging that the U.S. seeks to exploit internal differences for its own strategic interests.

The cleric further linked the alleged foreign interference to Nigeria’s vast mineral wealth, noting that nations rich in natural resources often face external manipulation.

“When Goodluck Jonathan was in power, Nigeria needed to buy certain things to fight insurgency, and it was America that blocked us. They are showing interest because they know that it will divide the country. Once they come in, anywhere they step burns. The only country richer than us in terms of mineral resources is Venezuela. Anywhere there is wealth burns. Let’s be careful, they may seem to be bringing help, but the aim is to penetrate and keep us bound.” He said

In a post shared online, Regina expressed despair over what she described as her brother’s unjust incarceration.

Adding that he was arrested for fighting for his baby sister, after allegedly intervening in domestic disputes involving the actress and her husband.

The actress alleged that there was no legal case against her brother and lamented that the police were acting under the influence of power and money.

“I give up! What was my brother’s offense? Fighting for his baby sister because his in-laws would always beat her up? I actually accorded the Nigerian police some respect, but shame on you all !!! It’s obvious the highest bidder always wins. Now I’m crippled! I will return if that’s the only way, do whatever he says, get injected to be like a zombie, get locked up, and raped in the house. Court grants Pretty Mike 50m bail after NDLEA arraignment for alleged dr#g party

Popular Lagos socialite Mike Nwalie, popularly known as Pretty Mike has been granted ₦50 million bail by the Federal High Court in Lagos following his arraignment on alleged drug-related offences.

Pretty Mike, the owner of Proxy Lagos Night Club, was arraigned alongside the club’s supervisor, Joachim Hillary, by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).

The duo faced charges of conspiracy, unlawful possession, and permitting the use of their premises for drug-related activities.

According to NDLEA prosecutor Buhari Abdullahi, the alleged offences occurred on October 26, 2025, at the club located at No. 7 Akin Adesola Street, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The prosecution alleged that the defendants conspired to organize a drug party at the venue, during which officers reportedly recovered 200 grams of Cannabis Sativa and 177 cylinders of Nitrous Oxide (laughing gas), weighing 364.662 kilograms in total.

Hillary was further accused of possessing 200 grams of Cannabis Sativa a day earlier, on October 25, 2025.

The NDLEA charged Pretty Mike with permitting his nightclub premises to be used for illicit drug activities, in violation of Sections 14(b) and 20(1)(c) of the NDLEA Act.

Both defendants pleaded not guilty to the charges.

Lead defence counsel, Dr. B.S. Awosika (SAN), urged the court to grant bail on liberal terms, arguing that neither defendant had any prior criminal record and that they would make themselves available for trial.

However, the prosecution opposed the application, claiming the defence failed to provide sufficient supporting details.

In his ruling, Justice Ambrose Lewis-Allagoa held that the prosecution did not establish any compelling grounds to deny bail, emphasizing that the defendants remain presumed innocent until proven guilty.

The judge granted each defendant ₦50 million bail with two sureties in like sum, who must also swear to an affidavit of means.

Justice Lewis-Allagoa ordered that the defendants be released to their counsel pending the completion of their bail conditions.

The case was adjourned for further hearing on a date yet to be fixed.

Reality star Adekunle Olopade recounts harr0wing midnight encounter with armed Police Officers

Reality TV star Adekunle Olopade has shared a deeply unsettling account of his encounter with police officers in Lagos.

Describing how a late-night drive turned into what he called ‘a near-kidnapping experience’ in the hands of men who were supposed to uphold the law.

Taking to social media, Adekunle narrated that the incident occurred in the early hours of the morning after he decided to take a drive to clear his head.

According to him, he was stopped at a police checkpoint near the VGC roundabout around 1 a.m. while driving his mother’s car, a vehicle he had swapped with her earlier in the week.

What began as a routine stop quickly escalated. The officers searched the car thoroughly, found nothing incriminating, yet became increasingly suspicious when they discovered that the car’s documents bore a different name.

Despite his explanations, the officers accused him of stealing the vehicle.

He recounted that a senior officer at the scene ordered the car to be seized, and when he refused to hand over the keys, the officers forcibly restrained him.

Adekunle said he was handcuffed, strangled, and stripped of his phone during the altercation, before he was then transported against his will from VGC to Area J Command, Elemero, Ibeju-Lekki.

At the station, Adekunle said he was interrogated, accused of being a cultist, and asked to undress so officers could look for tattoos.

When nothing incriminating was found, they searched his phone and found nothing incriminating to, then they demanded that he ‘do something’ for them, a request for a bribe.

Eventually, he was asked to withdraw money from a nearby POS before being released at around 6 a.m. Only after this was done was he given the car documents, his phone, and then some advice.

Adekunle’s detailed account has drawn outrage online, with many Nigerians condemning the persistent issue of police extortion, harassment, and brutality in the country despite repeated promises of reform.

He concluded by saying, “I didn’t think Nigeria would happen to me this soon… What if I lost my cool, and they ended my life? No one would know. The truth of what happened would never see the light of day.”

“Ned wants to k!ll my brother!” – Swezzy allǝges as Sammy West remains detained in Keffi prison

Swezzy, the brother of popular actress Regina Daniels has raised fresh concerns over the continued detention of their brother, Sammy West, alleging that Senator Ned Nwoko is behind attempts to keep him in custody.

In a post shared on Instagram, Swezzy claimed that Sammy has not been granted bail and is being held at Keffi Prison, despite efforts by his legal team to secure his release.

According to Swezzy, the magistrate handling the case has ‘suddenly disappeared,’ stalling the bail process and raising suspicions of political interference.

“They’re trying to disorganize our agenda. They’re trying to manipulate us! Sammy has not been granted bail! They are planning to move him to Keffi Prison. What sort of injustice is this? Ned is trying to remand my brother in Keffi Prison for speaking and fighting against domestic violence towards our blood sister. He’s got a child and a family that depends on him. He no thief, he no kill, why treat him like a criminal?” He wrote

Swezzy also appealed to public figures, including Seyi Tinubu, calling for intervention and justice.

As of the time of this report, neither Senator Ned Nwoko nor his representatives have responded to the allegations.

While the #FreeSammyWest campaign continues to trend online, with fans and social media users demanding the freedom of the actress’s brother.

Man shares how his girlfriend earned his trust while he was in the US Army training

A U.S. Army officer has warmed hearts online after sharing a story about love, trust, and partnership that has sustained his marriage for over six years.

In a post shared on X (Twitter), the soldier recounted how, before leaving for 12 weeks of Basic Training, he gave his then-girlfriend, now his wife, full access to his bank accounts.

At the time, his partner was a postgraduate student earning a university stipend.

With limited contact while he was in training, she managed his bills, rent, and car payments, keeping detailed records of every transaction.

“So I enlisted in the US Army, and my girlfriend (now wife) had full access to my bank accounts. At the time, she was a postgraduate student, earning a stipend from the university. I went off to 12 weeks of Basic Training, meaning no phone, no outside contact, nothing. Before leaving, I set up all my bills and gave her access to my bank apps. Car loan, rent, phone bills, everything. My three months’ salary was paid into the account. This amazing woman handled it all. She kept an Excel sheet tracking every dollar that came in and went out. She planned our entire wedding by herself and didn’t go overboard on spending, not even once.” He wrote

The soldier added that the couple has continued to manage their finances together ever since.

Although his Training restricted their communication, contact only came through handwritten letters and rare five- to ten-minute phone calls.

He concluded his post by offering heartfelt advice about love and commitment, asking people never to compromise on someone loving them.

“The level of w!ckedness Ned Nwoko has shown his community is alarming” – Seun Kuti

Afrobeat singer Seun Kuti has accused Nigerian politician and businessman Ned Nwoko, husband of Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, of exhibiting what he described as “alarming wickedness” toward his community.

In a recent statement, Seun Kuti claimed that Nwoko’s actions in his hometown had caused significant distress.

The son of the late Afrobeat legend Fela Kuti went on to allege that Nwoko was responsible for the detention of several young men under false pretenses.

“Old people everywhere like Regina Daniels’ husband. Regina married such a man despite the kind of wickedness he has shown his community. He almost killed the king of his village and wanted to take the whole land of the community by force. He was so evil that he imprisoned nine boys for years on false terrorism charges, expressing disbelief that Regina Daniels could remain married to him in the name of love.” He said.

However, Seun Kuti clarified that his criticism was not solely directed at Regina Daniels but also at the socioeconomic conditions that, in his view, influence young women’s choices.

He went further to say that if Nigeria gets better, young girls won’t need to enter such situations.

Below are some of the comments;

Life na turn by turn last year na Regina Daniels advice us this year na we dey advice her

Because a man is rich, doesn’t mean he’s a good man. Know this, and know peace, ladies.

“Two sworn enemies reunite for my happiness and my brother’s release” – Regina Daniels writes about her parents

Nollywood actress and producer Regina Daniels has shared an update on social media, revealing that her parents have reunited for her happiness and to support efforts to secure her brother’s release.

Posting photos and videos of her parents together, she described the moment as deeply emotional, saying it was something she had ‘always wanted.’

The actress’s parents had gone their separate ways after the mother supported her marriage to Nigerian senator Ned Nwoko, while her father stood against it.

Following the detention of their son, Sammy, allegedly by Ned Nwoko, both parties decided to put their differences aside and support each other to secure the release of their son.

The actress went on to speak about her brother, Sammy West, who she said remains in detention, promising to get him out.

She also reflected on her parents’ personalities, describing her father as a lawyer, actually one of the biggest back in the day, but Nigeria happened, and her mother, actress Rita Daniels, as a powerhouse.

“Two concluded sworn enemies reuniting with no negative ulterior motive other than their daughter’s happiness. And I dare question God for putting me in this situation ? They are currently in Abuja. Bro Sammy’s detainment is taking
Way too long but we will get him out or rather I will march there myself and create a storm ! Since they want me!” She wrote

Gospel singer Victoria Orenze urges Nigerians to brace up after Trump’s recent remarks

Gospel singer Victoria Orenze has called on Nigerians to brace up and turn to God amid growing concerns over the remarks by the United States President, Donald Trump.

In a recent video shared online, Trump claimed that America was ready to go gun blazing in Nigeria following alleged reports of a Christian genocide in the country.

Reacting to the statement on her official X (Twitter) account, she urged Nigerians not to rely on foreign nations for help but to seek divine intervention and take personal responsibility for the nation’s destiny.

According to her, God has already promised deliverance for the nation.

“God has commanded deliverance for us without a doubt! God has said we should prepare for landing. God has said that Nigeria will rise, stand, and prosper by His hand. Now, Nigerians must arise, agree with GOD, and take this deliverance! Nigerians, we can’t be quiet and turn our eyes the other way anymore! The Church, we can’t be quiet and turn our eyes the other way anymore!” she declared

The gospel artist admonished Nigerians, both Christians and non-Christians, not to remain silent in the face of injustice, corruption, and division.

She further emphasized that the country’s salvation would not come from world powers such as America, China, Russia, Canada, or the UK, but from God and the collective action of its people.

She also issued a stern warning to those in positions of power who, in her words, act as pharaohs against the progress of the nation, saying divine judgment awaited them.

Actress Yvonne Jegede backs Regina Daniels, calls for the immediate release of her brother, Sammy

Actress Yvonne Jegede has joined the growing number of voices calling for justice in the ongoing controversy surrounding Regina Daniels and her family. She publicly demanded the release of Regina’s brother, Sammy Ojeagwu.

In a post shared via her Instagram story, Yvonne condemned what she described as an ‘ongoing injustice,’ urging Nigerians not to remain silent in the face of alleged abuse of power.

“Evil thrives when good people are silent. We will not sit and watch the ongoing injustice because a young girl decided to exit a union, sir, your current actions are proving the young girl right. This is a fight for the girl child and for our democracy as Nigerians.” She wrote

She ended her message with the hashtag Free Samuel Ojeagwu, showing solidarity with Regina Daniels, who has reportedly been estranged from her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.

Recall that Regina’s elder brother, Sweezy, alleged that Senator Ned Nwoko ordered the arrest of Sammy Ojeagwu in a bid to pressure Regina into returning to their matrimonial home.

After she had alleged left the marriage over issues of domestic violence, an allegation that the senator had denied.

Below are some of the comments;

“This is heartbreaking. If these allegations are true, then it’s a serious abuse of power. No woman deserves to be threatened or coerced into returning to a toxic marriage. #FreeSammy”

“Yvonne is so brave for speaking up. Too many celebrities keep quiet when things like this happen.”

“Social media isn’t a court. Every day, new accusations fly around. If Regina left, that’s her choice, but let’s not turn everything into a public spectacle.”

“I’m better off alone” – Man says after spending over 100K on a date that went nowhere

A man has taken to X (Twitter) to share a costly and disappointing first-date experience, revealing that he spent over ₦100,000 on food and transportation only for the relationship to fizzle out immediately afterward.

In his post, he explained that he went on a first date where he spent ₦109,000 on food and an additional ₦18,000 on a Bolt ride.

Despite the grand gesture, the connection didn’t last.

He recounted some of the frustrations from the date, saying that they first ordered food worth ₦90,000, which they couldn’t finish.

Only for her to order more stuff, then pack the whole food, the leftovers, and the newly ordered ones home, without asking if he cared for any.

Reflecting on the experience, he advised caution for future dates, promising never to involve himself in such again.

He concluded his post with a blunt takeaway, saying he thinks he’s better off alone because he’s tired of meeting ‘funny’ people.

The post has since resonated with many online, sparking conversations about first dates, expectations, and the modern dating experience.

His tweet read;

“Went on a first date two weeks ago. Food 109k, bolt 18k. Now we aren’t talking anymore. Learned to never do that again. If you aren’t going on a walk or to a restaurant I recommend, and you recommend more expensive ones, I’ll ghost from there.

First ordered food of 90k, which we couldn’t finish. Only for her to order other stuff. Then they packed the rest of the food, and she took it all without asking if I cared for any. ngl I’m better off alone. Tired of meeting funny people.

“I can’t settle for less” – Waje opens up on love and her standards for a partner

Award-winning singer and songwriter Waje has opened up about the defining moments of her life, including becoming a mother at just 16, in a candid conversation on The Honest Bunch podcast.

The Rara crooner revealed that she became pregnant shortly after finishing secondary school, a situation that led to rejection from her child’s father and his family.

Years later, when her daughter turned 18, all attempts to rebuild a relationship between father and child proved unsuccessful.

Reflecting on her journey, Waje explained how these experiences have shaped her standards, particularly when it comes to marriage.

She emphasized that at her current stage in life, she cannot settle for a partner who isn’t successful. She also ruled out the idea of marrying a younger man, citing her practical and nurturing nature as a factor.

“I can’t marry someone who is not successful, and here’s why. I’m not in my 20s anymore, so we’re not growing together. A man leads, and he leads by showing me aspirations I can look up to. Success, faith, and emotional balance all matter because I’m also doing the work on myself. I’m very pragmatic and sometimes have to take care of people around me, my siblings, friends, even family members. If my husband were younger, he would probably get overwhelmed.” She said

Waje’s reflections provide an intimate look into her journey of resilience, growth, and the high standards she has set for her personal and romantic life.

Lagos Police deny arresting Regina Daniels’ brother, say Abuja officers carried out the operation

The Lagos State Police Command has denied involvement in the arrest of Samuel, the brother of Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, clarifying that the operation was carried out by officers from Abuja.

In a statement on Tuesday, the Command’s spokesperson, SP Abimbola Adebisi, said the arrest was conducted by police operatives from the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) who presented a valid arrest warrant.

“Operatives of the Lagos State Police Command did not arrest the individual in question. The officers who effected the arrest came from Abuja with a duly signed arrest warrant. The suspect was only held briefly at the Ogombo Police Division due to the late hour before being transferred for further procedural action.” Adebisi explained.

Earlier, Lawrence Daniels, Regina’s elder brother, had accused Nwoko of harassment, warning that the senator should be held responsible if anything happened to their family.

As of the time of this report, the FCT Police Command had yet to issue an official statement regarding the reasons for Samuel Daniels’ arrest.

Court orders interim forfeiture of Pretty Mike’s Lagos nightclub over allǝged drúg activities

The Federal High Court in Lagos has ordered the interim forfeiture of a nightclub owned by popular socialite and entertainer, Pretty Mike, over alleged involvement in drug storage and distribution.

Justice Musa Kakaki granted the order on Tuesday following an ex parte application filed by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), represented by its counsel, Mr. Buhari Abdulahi.

The property, known as Proxy Lagos Night Club and located at No. 7 Akin Adesola Street, Victoria Island, was alleged to have been used for storing and distributing 169 cylinders (384.662 kilograms) of nitrous oxide, popularly known as laughing gas, and 200 grams of cannabis sativa.

According to court documents, the NDLEA identified the nightclub’s owner, Mike Nwalie (aka Pretty Mike), and Joachim Hillary, an employee, as the key suspects allegedly using the premises as a base for a planned drug party.

In an affidavit deposed to by Deputy Commander of Narcotics, Nasiru Garba Bungudu, the agency said it acted on credible intelligence received in October 2025, which led to a midnight raid on October 26, 2025.

During the operation, operatives reportedly arrested over 200 persons and recovered the banned substances.

Mr. Abdulahi told the court that the interim forfeiture was necessary to preserve the property, being an alleged instrumentality of crime under the NDLEA Act, pending the conclusion of investigations.

He also sought a suspension of all activities at the nightclub.

After reviewing the motion and supporting evidence, Justice Kakaki ordered the interim forfeiture of Proxy Lagos Night Club to the Federal Government and directed that the premises remain closed until investigations are concluded.

The case has been adjourned until January 28, 2026, for further hearing.
