“You can’t manipulate a DNA test” – Wunmi sl@ms father-in-law as SAN withdraws from case

Wunmi, the widow of the late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, has spoken out once again about the controversy surrounding the DNA test for her son, Liam.

In a recent post shared on her Instagram story, Wunmi expressed frustration following reports that another Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) had withdrawn from the ongoing DNA case.

Addressing her father-in-law, she condemned what she described as repeated delays and attempts to twist public perception about the matter.

“Another lawyer, a whole SAN, has withdrawn from the case. To my father-in-law, you can get as many lawyers as you want from anywhere in the world, but one thing is certain: you cannot manipulate this DNA. We have cooperated from day one. We have never opposed a DNA test. We showed up. We waited. We followed the law,” she wrote.

Wunmi reiterated that she has never resisted a DNA test and has consistently cooperated with the authorities since the case began.

Her remarks come shortly after a court order barred Baba Mohbad, Yomi Fabiyi, Bukky Jesse, Larry Omodia, and Adewale Mariam from making public statements or inciting remarks about Wunmi and her son for one year.

Concluding her statement, Wunmi reaffirmed her belief in the power of truth and justice, insisting that neither the court nor science can be manipulated.

She expressed hope that the truth would prevail, for Liam, for Mohbad, and for justice as November 11 draws near.

NDLEA warns against drug parties after arresting Pretty Mike, manager at Lagos club raid

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has confirmed the arrest of Lagos socialite and nightclub owner Mike Eze-Nwalie Nwogu, popularly known as Pretty Mike, over his alleged involvement in organizing a drug-themed party at his nightclub, Proxy Night Club, in Victoria Island, Lagos.

In a statement released on Monday, October 28, 2025, the agency’s spokesperson, Femi Babafemi, said the operation was part of efforts to curb the growing trend of ‘drug parties’ in social circles, which he described as a blatant illegality under Nigerian law.

According to Babafemi, NDLEA operatives stormed the club located at 7 Akin Adesola Street, Victoria Island, during a raid that lasted from around 11 p.m. on Saturday, October 25, into the early hours of Sunday, October 26.

Over 100 attendees were initially arrested, alongside Pretty Mike and his club manager, Joachin Millary.

While all attendees were later profiled, counselled, and released, the NDLEA said both Pretty Mike and his manager remain in custody following the discovery of 384.882 kilograms of Canadian Loud, a potent strain of cannabis, along with other illicit substances recovered from the club’s store.

Babafemi further warned nightclub owners and fun seekers to desist from organizing or participating in such gatherings, stressing that any event organized for the purpose of consuming, distributing, or abusing illicit substances would be treated as a serious narcotics offence.

“Our undercover agents conducted surveillance on the facility, made pre-purchases of illicit drugs from within the club, and for four hours observed and recorded drug transactions and abuse going on before eventually disrupting the brazen public display of illegality and making arrests. These drug parties contravene the explicit provisions of the NDLEA Act and will be treated as serious narcotic offences,” The statement read.

Man shares experience with entitled relative months after giving him millions to start a business

Shot of a young man looking stressed out at home

A Nigerian man has shared his frustration online after a relative he had generously supported returned to ask for more money months after receiving millions to start a business.

In a post shared on X (Twitter), the man narrated how he had been financially assisting a family member repeatedly until he decided to put an end to the cycle by offering a large sum of money as a grant.

“I’ve got this family member who’s always asking me for one thing or the other. A few months back, I decided to end the cycle of constant handouts and gave him a substantial amount, not as a loan but as a grant. I mean tens of millions to start a business with the clear agreement that he’d never come back to ask me for money ever again.

That was in July. This morning, he hit me up asking for money again, and I haven’t been this mad in a long minute. Honestly, how does one deal with this black tax problem?”

His post sparked widespread discussion online, with many users sympathizing with his frustration and sharing their own experiences with financially dependent relatives.

Others weighed in on the concept of ‘black tax,’ a term commonly used to describe the financial pressure on employed or successful individuals to support extended family members.

Below are some of the comments;

“TBH, the person you dey vex for na yourself. I have found the best way to deal with people is for you to pay for them to learn a skill. If they fail at this, don’t waste your time with these ones. Move on.”

“Welcome to the club. That starting a business move is the ultimate scam. I think the best way to reduce black tax is to create something like a family Venmo. Let everyone in the family know what you gave, and let all requests be seen by everyone. People will behave or be cautioned.”

“Stop indulging them and make peace with your decision. Giving a lot of money to someone who has shown they’re incapable of creating value was the mistake. They were always going to exhaust it and come back for more. You don’t even have to say much. Just move on.”

“I agree” – BBNaija star Bella Okagbue reacts to lady who said k!ssing is for marriage

Reality TV star Bella Okagbue has weighed in on a conversation about intimacy and boundaries in relationships, stirring reactions online.

A post shared by an X (Twitter) user had sparked discussions online after the user advised couples to refrain from any form of physical intimacy before marriage.

Until you’re married, you have no business kissing, smooching, or touching each other in sensitive ways. It doesn’t matter if it’s three days to your wedding, you’re not married yet. Kissing is for marriage! Until you’re married, your partner has no right over your body, and you have no right over theirs. You can’t act like one when God hasn’t made you one. The Bible says, “the two shall become one flesh”, in marriage, not in dating or courtship. It doesn’t matter if an angel appeared to you and told you that’s your husband or wife, until you stand before God and make that covenant, physical romance is a no-no. Set boundaries. Honor God. Keep your relationship pure.  The user wrote.

In response to the post, Bella simply wrote, I agree,” showing her support for the message of maintaining purity before marriage.

Her comment drew mixed reactions online, with some applauding her for upholding moral values, while others felt her opinion might not reflect modern relationship dynamics.

UK-based Nigerian lady says her neighbour reported her over ‘noise pollution’ from Hallelujah Challenge (VIDEO)

A UK-based Nigerian lady has taken to social media to share her experience after her neighbour allegedly reported her to local authorities for ‘noise pollution.’

In a post that has since gone viral, the woman who appeared to be taking part in the Christian worship session hosted by gospel artist Nathaniel Bassey, received a letter from the city council notifying her that a complaint has been filed against her and that investigations would be carried out in due time.

According to her, she was surprised by the report, because she had no idea that worshipping and singing praises to God from the comfort of her home would be an issue.

The incident has sparked mixed reactions online. While some social media users sympathized with her, others reminded her that the UK has strict noise control laws that apply regardless of religious activity.

The Hallelujah Challenge, led by Nathaniel Bassey, is a virtual worship program where thousands of Christians around the world gather online particularly at midnight to praise and pray.

Below are some of the comments;

“There’s a terminology called ‘Moderation’.”

Good for you! Why can’t you keep it low. I stream too but the days I’m so tired and really want to sleep, the noise from my neighbor’s won’t let me

Oyinbo people no send you Ooo! Do your thing quietly, praise God without disturbing others and HIS name will forever be glorified. Peace and love

X user sparks debate after saying men should never cook or order food when their girlfriends visit

Angry African American woman having an argument with her boyfriend at home

A social media user has stirred a heated debate on X (Twitter) after sharing what many have described as a controversial take on gender roles in relationships.

In a viral post, the user advised men to refrain from cooking or ordering food when their girlfriends come to visit, insisting that the woman should take full responsibility for preparing meals.

According to him, except that the lady is sick, everything that concerns cooking and cleaning should be left for her to handle alone.

Let me repeat. If your girlfriend comes to visit you and spends days. Please, leave everything that involves cooking and cleaning after her. Even if you’re a fantastic chef. Except she’s sick. Do not cook anything, & do not order any meals from outside. And do not ask her to cook anything, either. She should know what to do. If she can’t cook, both of you should stay hungry. End. He wrote

The post has gained traction, with many users criticizing the statement as misogynistic and outdated, arguing that domestic responsibilities should be shared equally in relationships.

However, some users defended the poster, claiming he was merely emphasizing traditional values and expectations in modern relationships.

Below are some of the comments;

“And then there is me, who finds it difficult to ask a girl for anything or to do anything. I just like the idea of being independent of any woman, even when girls visit me, they only get up from bed when they want to brush, eat, or use the nothing, I do all the cooking. I should…”

“This is why I like Christian relationships where we’re not permitted to visit each other and do sleepovers. Let’s kukuma know what we’re doing. Marriage has a bigger purpose than cooking and clean. We can always outsource that dear.”

“Many men are guilty of this. Proving your chef skills and dexterity to your “beautiful princess” is what comes to mind first. Those who know how to cook will always love to impress their “new beautiful princess”.”

A yet-to-be-identified man reportedly lost his Land Rover LR3 to a woman he met at a cinema in Lekki after offering her a lift home.

The incident occurred after a late-night movie at Genesis Deluxe Cinema, The Palms Shopping Mall, Lekki.

According to accounts shared online, the man, an oil company worker who had just returned from an offshore shift, met the woman at the cinema and offered her a ride to Lekki Phase 1.

The two reportedly discovered they were both from Benin City and decided to spend more time together. They later went to a restaurant before heading to the man’s residence in Lekki.

The following morning, they agreed to prepare a local meal but discovered there was no fish at home. The woman volunteered to drive to the market to buy some, assuring him that she could drive.

He handed her the car keys and instructed his security guard to open the gate. However, several hours later, she failed to return, and attempts to reach her were unsuccessful as he had not collected her phone number.

After checking around his house, he revealed that the small purse and bag she left behind contained only a few personal items, and both the woman and the vehicle have not been seen since.

BBNaija Tuoyo recounts how NDLEA officers allǝgedly manhandlǝd him over social media post on club ra!d

Reality TV star, Tuoyo Ideh, has alleged that operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) physically assaulted him after he posted about a recent club raid in Lagos on social media.

In a video shared online, Tuoyo recounted the events that unfolded during a raid at Proxy in Lagos in the early hours of Saturday, which he said left him in pain and distress.

According to Tuoyo, he had gone to the club around 2 a.m. to help a friend secure a table when NDLEA operatives and military personnel suddenly stormed the venue.

Tuoyo said he and other clubgoers were searched, and when nothing illegal was found on him, they were ordered to sit outside on the ground for hours before being taken to the NDLEA office in Ikoyi.

He stated that at the agency’s office, despite repeated pleas that he had done nothing wrong, they were told they were ‘all suspects.’

Tuoyo claimed he recorded a short video of the situation and posted it online so people would know what was happening. However, the social media post angered some NDLEA officers, leading to a violent assault.

“About 30 minutes after I posted, a woman came and pointed at me. Then some men rushed at me, brushed me, slapped me, and one of them said, Take him there and shoot him. They beat me, kicked me, and used sticks on me. They made me roll on the floor and do frog jumps. I could barely breathe.” He said

Tuoyo said he was later moved to the guardroom, where a prisoner helped him massage his swollen hands, he was eventually released after his colleagues, Elozonam and Ike, arrived to sign for him.

Federal Government to regulate TikTok, says platform should promote skill development over entertainment (VIDEO)

The Federal Government has revealed plans to tighten regulations on TikTok and other social media platforms, emphasizing the need for more skill-based and educational content.

According to officials, the move is aimed at redirecting youth creativity towards productive digital engagement rather than the purely entertainment-driven content that currently dominates the platform.

Government representatives said the proposed framework would encourage the use of TikTok and similar apps for skill acquisition, entrepreneurship, and digital learning, while discouraging content that adds little social or economic value.

However, the announcement has sparked widespread debate across social media, with many Nigerians questioning the government’s priorities amid pressing economic and unemployment challenges.

Critics argue that the administration should focus on job creation, youth empowerment, and internet access rather than imposing restrictions on online expression.

Others support the idea, saying it could help guide young creators toward more productive use of social media.

Below are some of the comments;

“Instead of fixing unemployment or the economy, they want to ‘regulate’ TikTok. How about focusing on skill empowerment offline first before policing vibes online? Nigerians just want to create, not be controlled.

“That’s a good one… cause TikTok is now a begging app. And a view once app. In fact, you can’t meet any decent girl on TikTok again.”

“When I see foreign content, they are educating, but once it’s Naija content, it’s total rubbish. Even oloshos inside the bush are doing content now to tell the world they are not ashamed of themselves.”

“He came back in 2025 to sc@m my mom again” – X user shares how her mother caught a sc@mmer who defr@uded her in 2021

An X (Twitter) user has gone viral after sharing how her mother outsmarted a scammer who once defrauded her in 2021, and the same man returned to her shop in 2025.

According to the user, the scammer showed up with someone he introduced as his personal assistant, pretending to be a potential customer.

What he didn’t know was that her mom had an incredible memory for faces and recognized him immediately.

She kept the conversation going, offered them drinks, and told them she wanted to make a transfer, but secretly called her husband.

Her dad, who was at work at the time, quickly contacted the area boys to head to her shop. While the supposed customers waited patiently for the transfer to go through, the area boys arrived and pounced on them.

The woman confronted the main suspect, recalling exactly what he wore the day he scammed her four years earlier, leaving him stunned.

“They were beaten until my mom had to call my dad to tell them to stop before something bad happened. The suspects were later handed over to the police,” the X user added.

Below are some of the comments;

I’m the male version of your mum, but there won’t be anything left to call the police to come pick, rather the mortuary will be called.

“I still remember the face of the guy who came to my aunt’s store in 2022 and stole my phone. His height, stature, and face. I could see him right now, and in a second, I just knew he was the one.”

“Your mom didn’t do well at all. She shouldn’t have taken justice into her own hands by doing that; she could also have been arrested if Nigeria were working. Next time, she should add cement to water and give them to drink because scammers don’t deserve peace.”

“I go on my knees and pray before I k!ss on set” – Actor Daniel Etim-Effiong

88Lately bio cover - 1

Nollywood actor and filmmaker Daniel Etim-Effiong has revealed that he prays before shooting romantic scenes, as it is a part of his faith and creative process.

Speaking on Channels Television’s Rubbin’ Minds, the Herd director said that despite the demands of acting, his relationship with God keeps him grounded.

The 37-year-old actor, who transitioned from engineering to acting, explained that his work is an expression of worship.

Daniel Etim-Effiong has faced public scrutiny over his romantic roles, especially following a viral kissing scene with actress Bolaji Ogunmola in Summer Rain.

He clarified that his focus is always on the story, not controversy.

“The fact that I play a lot of romantic roles means I get to have kissing scenes sometimes. But the question should go to the producers: why are they expressing affection only one way? There are other ways to show intimacy.” He said

He also noted that romantic scenes are often included due to audience demand because that’s what sells.

Despite public attention, Daniel Etim-Effiong emphasized that faith, focus, and family remain his guiding principles.

Below are some of the comments;

“The prayer goes like, “thank you once again for this opportunity to do what I love……..””

“Daniel is a good actor. I like his movies. You can also act out a romantic scene without kissing. Clinton Joshua is one of my favourite actors. He doesn’t kiss in movies, but you can feel the chemistry between him and whoever he is in a romantic scene without kissing. Sometimes I don’t even notice that he didn’t kiss because the chemistry is electric and he delivers without kissing.”

“Every man should marry more than one wife” – Senator Ned Nwoko

Senator Ned Nwoko, who represents the Delta North Senatorial District, has stirred fresh controversy with his recent comments on marriage.

Speaking during an interview on Channels Television, the lawmaker known for his polygamous lifestyle defended his stance by comparing polygamy to balance in life.

“I’m sure you have a wife and you also have girlfriends, just imagine me telling you to stand on one leg; you know how difficult that is. But to stand on two, three, or four legs is much more balanced.” Ned Nwoko told the interviewer.

When questioned about the biblical stance on polygamy, Nwoko said, The Old Testament does (support it), and I am a man of the Old Testament.

When asked whether he planned to take more wives, the senator declined to answer directly but admitted he would make the same choice again if given the chance.

Addressing allegations of domestic violence, Ned Nwoko dismissed them as false, insisting that he isn’t a violent person and he respects and loves all his wives and kids.

The senator, who has often courted controversy for his views, said his attraction to young and beautiful women is simply “the way it should be.”

Below are some of the comments;

“Well, my dad married ONE wife. He’s enough for me as a mentor, not a Nigerian politician.”

My father married one wife with peace of mind, they both trained us well… the man hated polygamy with passion.

“As for me and myself, I go marry one woman and be faithful to her in Jesus’ name.”

“This car will buy my BBNaija Innoson twice” – Faith Adewale flexes luxury ride

Disqualified Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate Faith Adewale has sparked reactions online after sharing a video of himself riding in a luxury car alongside his manager.

A fan had asked if the car was the Innoson vehicle he had won while on the reality TV show house.

Faith confidently replied, “Hell no, this car will buy that little car twice”

During his time in the BBNaija house, Faith won several tasks, including the Innoson Vehicle, valued at roughly 38 million.

Normally, housemates disqualified from the show for misconduct forfeit their winnings.

However, Faith, who was disqualified after physically assaulting a fellow housemate, Sultana, was given an exception by the producers, allowing him to keep all his prizes.

It is still unclear whether Faith has officially collected the Innoson car and other winnings, but his recent video has reignited discussions online about his controversial exit from the show.

Below are some of the comments;

“Faith really said this car can buy the Innoson twice… Imagine the type of cars he’s flexing with now!”

“Bro really disqualified from BBNaija but still living like a CEO. I see you, Faith!”

“Not sure if I should clap or be mad… dude got disqualified for fighting but still flexing luxury cars? Interesting.”

“Show their trials like BBNaija” – Williams Uchemba urges public ex#cution for k!dnappers (VIDEO)

Popular Nollywood actor and philanthropist Williams Uchemba has sparked debate online after calling for the public execution of kidnappers in Nigeria.

In a recent video shared on his social media page, Uchemba expressed frustration over the rising cases of kidnapping and insecurity, questioning why the punishment prescribed by law is rarely enforced.

The actor noted that the penalty for kidnapping under Nigerian law is death, yet the public hardly ever hears about convictions or executions of those arrested for such crimes.

Uchemba urged the government to introduce a dedicated television channel that would publicly show how kidnapping cases are handled from arrest to sentencing, similar to how reality shows like Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) are broadcast.

“The punishment for kidnapping is death. I don’t know why, when it’s time to execute that constitution, we’re not as vocal as we should be. When these kidnappers are caught, we don’t hear anything, whether they’re being imprisoned or executed. Nigeria needs to have a special channel that will be showing how all these kidnapping cases are handled, just like BBNaija.” He said

The actor’s comments have sparked a lot of attention, generating mixed reactions from Nigerians. Most people seem to agree with his suggestions, expressing hope that implementing them could lead to a reduction in insecurity across the country.

Kiddwaya added that despite his family’s influence and riches, he has managed to stay away from scandals, maintaining his integrity in the public eye.

“I live life for a living. Do you know how hard it is to live life as a rich man’s son? Like, where to go, what club to go to. It’s difficult. I do that every year from January to January. So when people ask me, I say I live my life. I work hard to maintain my integrity. People can’t handle the amount of wealth and fame that comes from my family,” he said confidently.” He said

“I can’t wear the same clothes twice” – Bella Shmurda opens up on the pressures of fame

Nigerian singer Bella Shmurda has revealed that his celebrity status prevents him from repeating outfits he has already worn in public.

Speaking during an interview on Naija FM 102.7, the ‘Cash App’ crooner said that being a public figure comes with lifestyle expectations that often dictate his wardrobe choices.

“As an artist, as a popular figure, you know say this cloth wey I don wear like this, I no fit wear am again,” He said.

The singer’s comment drew reactions online, with many fans weighing in on the pressures that accompany fame and public image in the entertainment industry.

During the same interview, Bella Shmurda also addressed criticisms that Nigerian artists charge high performance fees, explaining that producing music is a costly process.

“Making an album alone, just paying producers and everyone I worked with, is about $100,000. Then I still have to shoot music videos, promote songs on the radio, TV, and online platforms. That’s a lot. If I go for a show and I don’t charge something beneficial to me in the long run or at least covers my cost of production, it’s not worth it. We’re not overcharging,” Bella explained.

“You can wear it twice, but you can’t snap with the same cloth twice.”

The actress recounted her struggles with pain and depression, revealing that she once attempted suicide before finding hope in God’s mercy.

Tonto also opened up about her spiritual journey, saying she reconnected with God after years of taking His love for granted.

She described her renewed walk with El-Roi (The God Who Sees Me) as the most fulfilling experience of her life.

Another striking revelation was her decision to embrace celibacy after being delivered from sexual immorality.

The actress also celebrated divine restoration in her personal life, revealing that God reunited her with her sister after 45 years apart, an experience she described as a true testament to God’s mercy.

Tonto concluded by reflecting on peace, unmerited favor, and the importance of protecting her inner calm.

A part of her write-up read;

“Jesus healed me from a rage that once ruled my life. I destroyed relationships, opportunities, and peace without a second thought. My anger was not power; it was pain disguised as control. But one day, I broke down and cried out like a child. He didn’t condemn me. He covered me with mercy and healed me completely. Depression was my closest companion, and I attempted suicide. But God said, Child, get up. And I did. Weak, trembling, but alive. Celibacy has been one of the most powerful experiences of my life. It is not suppression; it is strength. I trained my heart to be disgusted by intimacy without love.”

“You’re in the poverty capital of the world, yet dreaming of marriage” – X user sl@ms hallelujah challenge participants

A viral post on X (Twitter) has stirred reactions after a user criticized participants of the ‘Hallelujah Challenge’ for showing up to the prayer session in wedding gowns.

In the post, the user condemned the instruction reportedly given by the convener of the faith-based movement, who asked worshippers to “dress like their miracles.”

According to the critic, most of the women in attendance chose to wear bridal outfits, symbolizing their desire for marriage.

The user further expressed frustration, describing the participants as self-centered and disconnected from Nigeria’s socio-economic struggles.

“The leader of Hallelujah Challenge told his disciples to dress like their miracles, and most ladies were putting on wedding gowns. You’re living in Nigeria, the poverty capital of the world, where most youths are broke and jobless, and your biggest problem is marriage? Nobody with his or her right senses should be thinking of marriage without a stable source of income. Do they want to get married to jobless men? The most annoying thing about all these Hallelujah challengers is they do not even seek the collective good of Nigeria. They just want to be amongst the few who live well, to prove that they are different and their ‘god’ is good to them alone. Delusional individuals. He wrote

The tweet has since gone viral, with social media users weighing in with their opinions. While some users agreed that many Nigerians prioritize personal desires over national progress, others defended the participants, insisting that faith-based expressions should not be mocked.

The Hallelujah Challenge, a virtual midnight praise and worship session led by gospel singer Nathaniel Bassey, has become a popular movement among Christians seeking spiritual breakthroughs.

“We can’t find her” – Kemi Olunloyo Allǝges Regina Daniels has been missing for days

Controversial journalist Kemi Olunloyo has sparked concern on social media after alleging that a popular Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels has been unreachable for several days.

During a recent live session, Olunloyo claimed she had spoken with Regina Daniels’ husband, Ned Nwoko, and he hinted that the situation behind the scenes was more serious than what the public was seeing online.

Adding that the actress had refused to seek rehabilitation despite ongoing concerns about her well-being.

Kemi Olunloyo further claimed that Regina Daniels has not been in contact with her children for days.

“I’ve spoken to Ned today, and I’m reading his chat right here. What is happening with Regina on social media is only a fraction of what’s actually going on. I want to make sure you guys are educated because I’m only interested. She doesn’t think she has a drug problem, and that’s where the problem starts. That was how it started with Whitney and many celebrities who are dead today. Once you don’t want to go to rehab…he children can’t find her. It’s been three days now, and they don’t know where she is. They are with the nannies. In America, Regina has already lost temporary custody of her children. Because she has a husband and nannies, they’re probably with them. But she won’t be able to have custody of those children,” She said

Her comments have triggered mixed reactions across social media, with many users contemplating whether to believe her or not, based on her reputation online.

Lady shares shocking encounter with 7-year-old boy on a bus

A Nigerian woman has taken to Facebook to share a disturbing encounter with a 7-year-old boy during a bus ride.

According to her post, she boarded a commercial vehicle with a woman and her two children. She claimed the older child, estimated to be around seven years old, touched her chest shortly after she sat down.

At first, she assumed it was accidental and ignored it, but when it happened again and the boy giggled, she became alarmed.

The woman said the boy’s mother responded casually, saying, “Oh, he loves breast, you know male children and breast are 5 and 6.”

However, the boy did it again, prompting her to hit him hard, and the mother reacted by hitting her to causing her to retaliate.

“Don’t give birth to kids and raise them into monsters in the name of gentle parenting. I kept quiet and targeted him; he did it again, but this time I hit him so hard he screamed in pain. The mother hits me in retaliation and I gave her enough beating to reset both she and the sexual predator she calls a sons head. It’s ok to make excuses for your badly behaved kids but when they try it around a person like Me, I’ll cure your family’s madness.” She wrote

The woman used the experience to criticize what she described as gentle parenting gone wrong, accusing the mother of raising her children without proper discipline or boundaries.

Woman shares how her daughter secretly visited absentee father without her consent

A Nigerian woman has taken to Facebook to share a harrowing experience involving her teenage daughter, who left home without permission earlier this year to visit her absentee father.

According to her detailed account, the incident occurred in January 2025, when her eldest daughter left their home in Abuja without informing anyone of her whereabouts.

Distraught and fearing the worst, the mother reported her missing at a police station and endured two days of sleepless nights, battling thoughts of kidnapping and other dangers.

On the third day, during a follow-up visit to the police station, two female officers suggested she contact the girl’s father.

The mother explained that she had not been in touch with him for years, and his known phone numbers had long been inactive. After persistent efforts, she managed to find a working number through a contact list from 2020.

To her shock, the father revealed that the daughter had just arrived in Lagos, having traveled alone overnight from Abuja, without a phone and under his guidance.

However, instead of taking the girl into his home, the father reportedly dropped her off at a relative’s house and disappeared.

For three months, the mother had no contact with her daughter and only resumed communication in April when the girl began pleading to return home.

Despite her absence, the mother continued to support her daughter remotely, sending supplies through Facebook and Instagram vendors.

Ten months later, the daughter has reportedly still not seen her father again and remains uncertain whether he actually lives in Lagos.

Now in October, the mother says she has decided to bring her daughter back, admitting that despite everything, she remains her child and her responsibility.

The story has sparked conversation online about with the majority stating that the woman did the right thing.

“I’m okay with another man pleasing my wife” – Singer Blaqbonez says as he advocates for open marriage

Nigerian rapper Emeka Akumefule, popularly known as Blaqbonez, has sparked widespread conversation online after openly endorsing the idea of open marriage.

Speaking on a podcast session, the Chocolate City artist shared his unconventional views on fidelity, emotional connection, and the realities of long-term relationships.

According to him, he would be comfortable with his future wife being sexually involved with another man, especially during periods when he is away on tour or focused on work.

The rapper emphasized that for him, emotional connection and loyalty outweigh physical exclusivity in a relationship. He maintained that no other man could easily replicate the unique bond he would have with his partner.

“I don’t mind having an open marriage. Most married couples don’t keep having the same amount of s+x they had at the beginning it naturally reduces. So, if someone else is satisfying her s+xually while I’m out hustling or touring, that’s fine. There’s more to marriage than s+x. I don’t mind her sleeping with someone else as long as she remains dedicated to me. It would be hard for another man to match the emotional connection I’ve built. They might not even make her laugh like I do.” He said

Blaqbonez further revealed that if he ever gets married, he would prefer a setup where he and his wife have separate bedrooms, coming together only when intimacy is desired.

He explained that this arrangement supports personal space while preserving passion and mutual respect.

His remarks have ignited mixed reactions across social media, with some applauding his honesty, others criticizing the approach as a threat to traditional marital values.
