Lady shares her weird experience after her car broke down on 3rd Mainland Bridge
A Nigerian lady has taken to Twitter to share her weird experience after her car broke down on 3rd Mainland Bridge, Lagos.
According to @sokaagu on Twitter, she and her friend who was in the car with her, was accosted by some thugs on the bridge who collected their money, disconnected her battery and used a POS machine to collect more money from her – all this while threatening to assault her.
She said after they finished robbing them, the guys told her they are not thieves and she was supposed to “settle them”.
She said the same guys went on to return her phone and helped her fix her car before making away with their money.

My car went off at the foot of the bridge and next things about 6 guys rushed my car, ransacked my friend and I, took the money in her bag, disconnected my car’s battery…
Threatened to beat us up, Then forced me to use a pos machine to withdraw money and give them.
All this happened on the road with cars speeding by.. the way I kept praying someone would stop to help.. but I don’t even blame anyone, this Lagos isn’t for the weak or sane.

Nigerian video director, Buari Olalekan Oluwasegun, professionally known as Unlimited LA, has reacted to the spate of ritual killing cases in the country.
Taking to his official Twitter handle on Monday, January 31, the cinematographer said it’s high time young boys were made to understand that people make money through legitimate means.
“I think it’s time we let these young boys understand that honest/legit workers are also making money too. We just too busy to show off Before dem use everybody do rituals finish”. He tweeted.
This comes after an 18-year-old boy connived with three of his friends to kill his girlfriend for money ritual purposes in Ogun state.
While being paraded by news men the suspects who confessed to the crime said they learnt the practice on Facebook.
The four young boys said they concluded on money ritual because they wanted to ride exotic cars and live in luxury apartments.

The tweet of a Nigerian man on the social networking platform stirred reactions from tweeps as he asked if he and his spouse moved too fast given all that they did in the space of three years.
According to Twitter user, @enoyong1, he got married to his wife, they relocated from Nigeria and also had their first child in only a matter of three years. He then asks if they moved too fast in doing all of this is such time.

A Nigerian man has taken to Twitter to narrate his encounter with a teenage boy who came to a local restaurant in a Benz and offered to pay for everyone’s food.
According to the man identified as Okoye Cardinal, he visited his favourite Ofe Akwu joint to buy food when the boy, who he claims should be in his teens, pulled up in a Benz.
Okoye said that upon arriving at the joint, the teenager announced that he would pay for the food of everyone present, but he (Okoye) declined the offer.
He said he declined the offer because he doesn’t know the source of the boy’s wealth and didn’t want to be a victim of money ritual, as it might be a new tactic.
Narrating the incident, he wrote,
“This morning I went to my favourite ofe akwu joint to buy food, this boy with clean red Benz that have not reached 19 years told the food seller to calculate everybody’s bill that he will pay. I told the woman not to add my bill in front of the boy. No be me una go use top money.”

Man reportedly loses testicle after being shot by a fetish priest during a fight over his wife
A 24-year-old man identified as Kwasi Peters has reportedly lost one of his testicles after being shot by a fetish priest during a fight at Dwenewoho in Ahafo Ano, South West District of the Ashanti Region of Ghana.
It was said that the fight ensued after Kwasi accused the priest of sleeping with his wife. Kwesi, while speaking with the media at Dwenewoho, said he confronted the priest after seeing him with his wife in compromising positions on several occasions.
“I never believed rumours about the affair between the priest and my wife until I saw the two going on errands on several occasions mostly around 11 p.m. in the night.
“I confronted him when my wife’s attitude confirmed her affair with the priest but he shot me in the process.
This is not the first time he’s sleeping with a married woman, we have evidence of his acts in our community and so I could not sit down for him to destroy my marriage”. He said.
The priest has been arrested and currently detained at Mankranso Police pending further investigation.

Abike Dabiri-Erewa, the Chairman of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, has said that a post-mortem test carried out on the body of Fadlullah Agboluaje, the 19-year-old Nigerian student who died a day after arriving in Ukraine, revealed that he died of extreme cold.
The sister of the deceased had taken to social media to call on the government to investigate his death after he was found dead on the floor of his room on Monday, January 10, barely a day after he arrived Ukraine.
Speaking on Monday, January 31, during a condolence visit to the family, Abike Dabiri-Erewa confirmed that the autopsy result showed the teenager died of extreme cold, adding that the school shouldn’t have accommodated the Nigerian in a facility that exposed him to such weather.
“The autopsy says he died of extreme cold, but how could they have lodged the boy in a hostel without a heater? Looking at the pictures of the room, he was put in a deplorable condition and there were no heaters in the room, in a temperature which is below 4°,” she said.
“I’m sure if they had informed him earlier, he would have brought his own heater. I’m here today and we will stand by the family and whatever it is, we can do to support the family on whatever decision they take on this matter.” She said.
The grieving mother, Mrs Musleemah Agboluaje also narrated how her son had complained that the heater in the room was not working and asked that it be fixed but got no response from the receptionist on duty.
Mrs Agboluaje said her late son had dreams of becoming a footballer and was admitted to studying Sports Science before the unfortunate incident.

“I learnt how to do money rituals through Facebook” – 18 year old who killed his lover in Ogun confesses
The 18-year-old lad, Soliu Majekodunmi, who connived with three of his friends to murder his girlfriend, Sofiyah, for suspected money ritual purposes has confessed to learning the practice through Facebook.
Soliu was paraded before newsmen on Monday, January 31, where he revealed that he typed “how to make money ritual” on Facebook and got the detail, adding that the link instructed him to behead and burn a female skull in a local pot.
Majekodunmi went on to reveal that he conspired with his friend, Mustakeem Balogun, and two others to lure Sofiyah to their apartment in the Oke Aregba area of Abeokuta, where she was killed.
The group confessed to killing the girl, claiming they concluded on money ritual because they wanted to ride exotic cars and live in luxury apartments. The suspects also added that they purchased three pigeon eggs known as ‘Eyin Aparo’ in Yoruba language and other fetish ingredients which they added in the local pot.

It was earlier reported that the Zazu Zeh star turned down a “hookup” proposal from a lady at an outdoor spot in Mombasa, Kenya.

According to her, the same thing that happened with the pregnancies she lost almost happened again but this time, she decided to hold on to God and he didn’t fail her.

Anal bleeding, threatened miscarriage, difficulty in breathing, I wasn’t psychologically and mentally stable and that was the hardest part for me, my emotions were all over the place, taking a deep breath in and out to stop myself every time I felt the urge to just break down and cry, struggling within not to blame myself for not protecting and fighting for the survival of the babies I lost, placenta separation, weak uterus.
Truthfully I was exhausted, how I got here today is not something that I can explain but I just know that God was and is still with me and Ayomide,for this we are eternally grateful 🙏

Reports reaching us this hour is that international popstar, Rihanna is pregnant with her first child, who’ll be fathered by her lover, A$AP Rocky.
According to reports, the singer and fashion line CEO, gave the news on Monday during a photoshoot with her boyfriend, A$AP Rocky.
In some photos which were taken in New York City, Rihanna’s growing baby bump was on display in a long unbuttoned pink jacket.
The photographer who took her picture shared a close-up photo of her bump on his Instagram with the caption, “She IS!” and then tagging both the singer and the rapper.

This will be both Rihanna and A$AP’s first child who became an item since November of 2020 following years of friendship.

Nollywood actress and model, Bimbo Ademoye has expressed intense outrage over people who put onions and raw garlic in meals.
Bimbo in a post she shared via her Instagram story, threatened to rain fire and brimstones on anyone who cooks any meal she sees or tastes onions or garlic in.
According to the actress who appears not to like any of the above, anyone who uses fresh garlic in their meals, instead of garlic powder, is toxic.
She wrote,
“I don’t care how delicious or well seasoned any food is, if I sight onions, or I taste or see garlic, I’m fighting! I will tear your shirt, I will break your plates, matter of fact I will burn your house! They’ve done garlic powder, why are you so toxic that you decided to use fresh garlic. Super Eagles striker, Paul Onuachu, proposes to his long-term girlfriend in Paris (photos)
Nigerian professional footballer, Paul Onuachu Ebere, has proposed to his long time Ghanaian girlfriend, Tracy Acheampong in Paris, France.
The Super Eagles striker popped the question and got a resounding “YES” from his babe.
Taking to his official Instagram page to share photos from the romantic proposal, he wrote, “She said YES in the city of Love😍❤️”.

Blind Nigerian man allegedly burnt to death by his younger brother over piece of land in Anambra
A blind Nigerian man has allegedly been burnt to death by his younger brother over ownership of a piece of land in Anambra state.
The victim identified as Mr. Mmaduabuchi Nnofu, who is said to be the Coordinator of Joint National Association of Persons with Disabilities, JONAPWD, Aguata branch, and the first male child of his family was reportedly killed by his younger brother, Mr. Onyedika Nnofu, who is said to be the last male child of their family.
It was gathered that the incident occurred on Sunday, January 30th, 2022, at Eziagulu village, Ekwulobia in Aguata Local Government Area.
According to a source who spoke to Anambra Broadcasting Service (ABS), the suspect has been in conflict with Mmaduabuchi for a long time over the land, and has on different occasions threatened to kill him if he doesn’t leave the land.
Around 12 noon on Sunday, it was discovered that Mmaduabuchi was allegedly whacked and burnt beyond recognition by the said younger brother, Onyedika.
According to reports, angry youths of the community almost lynched the suspect to death before the police intervened and took him into custody.
The deceased was described as a vibrant leader in the disability community and someone who can never hurt a soul.
Woman delivers baby on flight to Washington DC “34,000 feet above sea level” (video)
A heavily pregnant Ghanaian woman recently gave birth to her baby on a flight to Washington, DC from Accra, Ghana.
It was gathered that the woman who was supposed to be due by late February went into labour onboard the airplane “34,000 feet above sea level”.
A Ghanaian doctor practicing in the US, Dr. Ansah-Addo, who was also on the flight, helped the woman to safely deliver her baby, a bouncy boy.
Media personality, Nancy Adobea Anane, better known as Ms. Nancy, who was also onboard the United Flight UA 977, shared a video of the event on her official Instagram page.
The video she shared showed the new mum breast-feeding her baby.
Sharing the video, Nancy wrote,
“On board @united Flight UA 977 today,a lovely baby boy was born. The baby Who was due late February decided to arrive 34,000 ft above sea level. Dr. Ansah-Addo a Ghanaian practicing in the USA made himself available when the pilot called for assistance of medical personnel on board. With assistance from the whole United crew ,a bouncy baby boy was delivered 2hours to landing.
The flight was met on arrival by paramedics upon landing at the Washington Dulles international airport. The baby and his mother GG are currently under medical care.”

It can be recalled that the reality show star became a victim of cyberbullying after her participation on Big Brother Naija, over her relationship with co-reality star, Boma.
She was trolled for kissing and making out with Boma despite being married and having a child with her husband.
While it was presumed that the trolling has stopped since the show ended few months ago, it appears Tega is still being trolled online.
