“Some of us just want love and partnership without certificates and all that plus I don’t think I can go through a wedding again.”

“I just hope that people are able to share more freely their truth and say what they really want. But yeah I know that’s not going to happen anytime soon. I hope you do what makes you happy.”

“Marriage cannot survive on love alone” – Reno Omokri

Popular Nigerian lawyer and author, Reno Omokri, has stated that love alone is not enough to make a marriage work.

The former presidential aide who stated this in one of his social media nuggets noted that marriage requires proper planning.

According to him, aside from love, there are several other factors that contribute to a happy marital life.

In his words,

“A marriage cannot survive on love alone. You need money, accommodation and maturity. It is only animals that have children and then look for how to feed them. As a human being, you are supposed to prepare and marry, not marry and prepare. Love is good. But love does not pay the bills.

And where the bills are not paid, love begins to fade, gradually, until it turns to something you do not recognise. You see, there is a thin line between love and hate. That is when you will greet your wife good morning, and she will ask you ‘what is good about the morning?”

Daddy Freeze responds after Pastor Sam Adeyemi tackled people who argue that Christmas isn’t biblical

Media personality, Daddy Freeze, has reacted to clergyman, Sam Adeyemi’s tweet aimed at those who argue that celebrating Christmas is unscriptural.

The senior pastor of Daystar Christian Centre, Lagos, had tweeted,

“The countries from where they brought Christianity to Nigeria celebrated Christmas with uninterrupted power supply. Some of us were quarrelling over whether eating Christmas chicken will make us go to heaven or not. Sense will ‘fall on us’ one day. I pray it won’t be long.”

Daddy Freeze, who has severally publicly argued that celebrating Christmas is unscriptural, shared a screenshot of Pastor Sam’s post on his Instagram page and tackled him while quoting bible verses to back up his claim.

According to him, Christianity was brought from Israel and “Christmas wasn’t even a public holiday in Israel, let alone a celebration.”

He added that England that brought Christianity to us “is fast becoming one of the least religious countries on earth.”

“Dear Pastor Sam Adeyemi,
The concept of salvation through Christ came from Israel. ◄ John 4:22 ► New Living Translation: You Samaritans know very little about the one you worship, while we Jews know all about him, for salvation comes through the Jews.

Christmas wasn’t even a public holiday In Israel, let alone a celebration.🙄 England on the other hand, is the country that brought our version of Christianity to us and as of today, England is fast becoming one of the least religious countries on earth, rapidly abandoning Christianity along with other faiths. Should we proceed to emulate this template as well, since they are now a reference point for our doctrines?🙄

Christianity is a faith based on Christ, NOT on other countries, so if Christ never celebrated Christmas while on earth and never asked us to, I’m deeply concerned about who really needs sense to fall on; is it you or us?🙄 I’d humbly suggest you read the scriptures more and base your judgement on the contents therein, as salvation does not come from motivational speaking.” He wrote.

“This generation isn’t religious, with the way its going if you need prayers you might need to do it yourself, just glad to have someone that has my back spiritually.

Last of a dying breed. next generation mums are most likely fun mums, woke mums, but not prayer warriors mums.

Current dads have already lost their way, they in the club smoking shisha looking for small girls to cheat with.

But i forecast that the next generation mums too would join the dads, and then we would all not be religious together. wahala for the next gen kids 😂😭

My mumsi dey steady pray for me, i just pity next generation children, na club all their mumsi go dey, dey smoke shisha, who go pray for who?

The past generation made prayer like a gender role, made us expect mothers to be mad religious but going forward if you need prayers you’d have to do it yourself.

I wonder who would pray for my kids sha, cos me I barely pray and I’d probably not have a religious baby mama 😣.”

One of the suppliers at the NEXT supermarket, lamented that he had just supplied goods worth N4.5million.

“In this Next Cash and Carry, I’m the youngest supplier. I’m a supplier of Silver Crest. What is paining me is that I gave them my goods for January and February and they have not been signed.

“We all know that Next does not have products, MIT is just a warehouse where you bring your product. They sell for you and you give them a percentage. If you sell for them at N30,000, Next will sell at N35,000. They take N5,000, give you your N30,000.

“My goods that have not been signed worth over N4.5million. Where am I going to start from?” he cried out at the scene

Man Booked For Using One Expired Tyre, Discovers That All The Four Tyres Of The FRSC Van Were Expired

A Nigerian Man has narrated a recent experience he’s had with officials of the Federal Road Safety Corps.

According to Lemi Jonathan, he was booked for using ONE expired tyre but on close inspection, he discovered that the Vehicle that the FRSC officials used themselves had all four tyres expired.

The man took to Facebook to write ;

ROAD SAFETY????
I encountered Road Safety personnel today from Afikpo Command. They stopped our vehicles and charged the second car with me with an expired Tyre offense.
I acknowledged the fact that the Tyre they saw is above years, but all my pleas fell on deaf ears. I got angry at their adamant attitude….. They still booked us for the offense.
Then I looked at the tyres of their vehicle and saw that their tyres were all expired. I asked their driver how long should a Tyre stay before it expires, he said 4 years.
I asked him if he is aware that their tyres are all expired, he said he is aware but that they have written to their Command for over a year now but they refused to change the tyres but still asked them to manage it.
How could they be charging me for the same offense they are massively committing? Mine was a Tyre, theirs were all tyres….. He said immunity covers them.
How can this be right???
