A Nigerian man has taken to Twitter to narrate how some friends contributed money to build a house for man who brought them to Lagos 15 years ago.

According to the Twitter user with handle @CACCOT1, things became hard for the man after he lost his job 5 years ago so his beneficiaries decided to build him a house for Christmas.

The house will reportedly be presented to him on Saturday, December 25.

He tweeted,

“Friends contributed money to build a house for their friend who brought them to Lagos (he invited them to Lagos over 15 years ago). Things became bad for him when he lost his job 5 years ago. His friends built a house that will be handed to him as Christmas present on Saturday.”

In other news, a Nigerian lady, Jane Nwachukwu is set to tie the knot with her lover, Nnaemeka and she is super elated about what the future holds.

Even offered my seat to him. We charted all through the journey till we got to Abuja. We became friends nothing serious, yes he wanted relationship but I was in one at the time so I told him it won’t work but let’s just keep it as friends oga said no he doesn’t want to be friends alone he wanted more which I couldn’t offer. So he locked up.

“Fast-forward to February 2021 I made a post on my whatsapp status for Valentine gift sales and he replied and said buy for me nah I don’t have anybody to buy for or buy for me. You can guess the rest. It was a Divine Ocaestration, be nice at all times you don’t know who you meet and when you meet your Angel. Celebrate with us as we seal this Love.”

Popular Nollywood actress, Jemima Osunde, has lambasted a Twitter user over a comment she made about wedding gifts a lady received from her husband.

A newly wedded bride had taken to the micro-blogging platform to brag about the gifts she received from her husband on their wedding day. The bride’s tweet, however, stirred mixed reactions from tweeps. While some applauded the husband, others left vile comments.

The lady then revealed that most of the people upset about the disclosure, that she received a land and N1 million as wedding gifts from her husband, were men.

Reacting to her post, a Twitter user told her that getting the gifts does not mean that their union would be blissful, she asked the lady not to get carried away and prepare for “battles” coming her way.

Actress, Jemima Osunde who was piqued by the lady’s comment in response questioned her sanity.

Controversial crossdresser, Bobrisky, has continued to drag billionaire businessman, Mompha, as he claims he regrets ever being friends with him.

The drama started after Bobrisky’s Dubai-based celebrity friend, Mompha, warned him that he should stop using his name to chase clout after he got entangled in the messy drama involving the crossdresser and actress, Tonto Dikeh.

This got Bobrisky furious and, in reaction, took to social media to drag the billionaire businessman, tagging him as a fake billionaire and going as far as releasing more of their chat.

However, when one would have thought the two were over the drama, Bob, in a series of new posts on his Snapchat, said he had given up on friendship and spilled more damning secrets about his ex-friend, Mompha.

Bobrisky claimed Mompha told him derogatory things about his business partners and that if he revealed them, it would jeopardize his relationship with them.

“I finally gave up on friend, dis my own world that am in yeah, I’m not lucky with friends. Same thing keeps happening over and over, snitch and gossiper.

“How do you want to chill with me lowkey, drive my car, enjoy my platform both on snap and ig where you beg me to post you and ur family and you still went on ur page to insult me in public just because I stopped giving you attention.

“How can a man gossip like a woman, jeeeez didn’t see it coming honestly, whenever I remember I regret ever following you back on IG when you follow me honestly.

“My grades were really bad in school, my teacher told me I won’t be anything in this life” – Davido

Award-winning Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, better known as Davido, has recounted how his teacher said he’d never amount to anything in life because of his bad grades.

The 30BG boss made this revelation in a chat on the Tea with Taymesan podcast, while reflecting on his childhood, career, and how he started singing at age 16.

“I know how bad my grades were. In school, I was like the most unlikely to succeed type of student. My French teacher told me I won’t be anything in this life. I wont lie I was a bad kid with good intentions. Life is fast, I have been doing this continuously since I was sixteen years old. Off course I have had to cry, not even about losing my friends alone. I cry about different situations. It comes and goes. I cried on my birthday”, he said.

Speaking further, Davido, who lost three of his close friends to the cold hands of death in the course of the year, described 2020 as a crazy year.

In his words,

“We lost TJ, my bodyguard who has been my security for over eleven years. We also lost my photographer Fortune. May his soul rest in peace.2021 has been a crazy year. May their souls rest in peace. We are carrying their legacy on. We think about them every day. From handling that and still working, still having to do what I have to do, going on tours, or doing the music recording. Juggling the pandemic and also family matters, 2021 has been a crazy year. We just thank God we are here, we are strong”.

Joey made the remark in reaction to the saga between Zazu crooner, Portable and dancer, Poco Lee. Recall that Portable accused Poco Lee of hijacking his song and stealing the money Wizkid sprayed him.

Referencing the messy drama between Cynthia Morgan and her former record label boss, Jude Okoye, Joey tweeted,

“Same Twitter dragged Jude Okoye when Cynthia Morgan came here to cry crocodile tears.

Na then wey everybody magically remember say Cynthia Morgan na generational talent. Person wey scatter contract, leave label, drop songs, then flop hard.

This place na just vibes and anger.”

The tweet didn’t sit well with Cynthia and she took to her Instastories to slam Joey. She knocked him for having the guts to ‘diss’ her now when he promoted her songs few years ago.

She also dragged Jude Okoye for treating her like “shit” because he didn’t want her to know her worth as an artiste.

The “Simantinya” hitmaker added that until Jude and her former manager, Joy Tongo, apologizes to her, they would “never have great children come through them. ”

A Twitter user has narrated how a lady who snatched her best friend’s fiancé ended up losing him to the cold hands of death only four days to their wedding.

Sharing the story on the micro-blogging platform, the Twitter user @forevertahj, who claimed to be the cousin of the lady who snatched her best friend’s fiancé, asked if it was Karma taking revenge on her cousin or a mere coincidence.

According to her, she and other members of their family warned the lady against the relationship after they discovered that the man was already engaged to her best friend and had a child with her, but their warnings fell on deaf ears.

Narrating the story, @forevertahj wrote,

“My cousin “stole” her best friend of 10 years’ fiance/baby daddy earlier this year. They got engaged after only being together for 3 months and were set to get married THIS Saturday – we woke up to the news that he died in his sleep.

Both were grimy for betraying the bm/friend. We warned them that nothing good would come out of building a home on another woman’s tears but neither of them gave one single ounce of a f*ck. Some of us weren’t even invited to the wedding because we were “jealous” of their love”.

US-based Nigerian businessman Francis Van-Lare, has taken to his social media page to share some words of advice for single women.

Van-Lare, who has been married and divorced five times, advised women to stop using too much makeup as men like natural look. He also admonished people to change their partners and jobs if they are not happy.

His Facebook post reads ;

“As the year is coming to an end , if the last three years have been more of the same things and you are not happy then try something new,” he wrote.

“Change your husband, wife, lover, job. Your wanting to leave your country for greener pastures abroad when the ‘green’ is where you are standing on but you are not looking

A 16-year-old boy Wiyual, and his 15-year-old partner Biel recently got married in Gambella, Ethiopia.

The ceremony was reportedly graced and blessed by both parents and religious leaders.

The young couple’s wedding photos went viral on facebook and it had many condemning the arranged marriage.

A man identified as John Ndungu blamed the parents and religious leaders who supported the marriage.

He wrote ;

“I blame the parents and the religious leaders. They’re supposed to be role models and mentors to young generations. Some parents are so materialistic, I say this because the girl’s parents I’m very sure were after the dowry which in Sudanese culture is hefty amount of money or herds of cattle” .

“Where will the teens start life from? No education completed I’m sure. How will they take care of themselves in terms of basic necessities? No job, no money, education cut short, I pity the girl #NyabuayThiolBiel, she will be made a mother at very tender age. No mother experience and all that.

A fan of popular Nigerian singer, David Adeleke better known as Davido, couldn’t hold his emotions after meeting the singer for the first time at a club in Asaba.

In a video trending online, the grown man who appears to be suffering from a medical condition that makes him look like a teenager, is seen in tears as he attempted to take a selfie with the singer.

He put his hands on the 29-year-old singer’s shoulder who was willingly waiting to take a picture with him. He however couldn’t hold back his tears from meeting the international music star and he shed some tears.

He was also seen talking to the DMW boss but his words were inaudible.

In other news, a viral video of superstar singer, Davido dodging an attack from a fan who almost pushed him to the ground has stirred tons of reactions from social media users.

The 30BG boss was in Abuja over the weekend for his live concert, which was held at the Transcorp Hilton, where fans in their thousands were in attendance to see their favorite perform.

However, a viral video captured the moment an overly excited fan mounted the stage and nearly pushed the father of three to the ground, but luckily, the agile singer was able to avoid the fall before his bouncers intervened. Davido swerved as quickly as he could to avoid being rough-handled by the fan.

Budding singer, Portable, has finally apologized to his benefactors, Poco Lee, Olamide, and Kogbagidi, following his social media outburst.

It can be recalled that the Zazu star took to social media earlier today to call out dancer, Poco Lee over his intellectual property and alleged money theft.

In a video he shared online, he called Poco a ripper while accusing him of trying to hijack his song and the money superstar singer, Wizkid, sprayed him when he performed at his concert.

Reacting to the outburst, his manager, Kogbagidi, who has been housing him since he rose to fame, sent him packing.

However, in a new development Portable has now apologized to his benefactors, YBNL boss, Olamide, Kogbagidi and hypeman, Poco Lee.

He admitted to being in the wrong and pleaded with them to forgive him.

“My sincere apologies goes out to my benefactors @olamide @poco_lee and @kogbagidi . I am in the learning process , I know better now . Kindly forgive me and pardon the street in me . Much love and appreciation to all my fans , words cannot express my feelings right now . Thanks for the intervention and words of comfort. Now I know am not in this journey alone . Love you guys . Popular singer, Olamide, has spoken up on behalf of fast-rising Nigerian singer, Portable, after he was sent packing by his benefactor, promoter Kogbagidi.

This comes after the Zazu star called out dancer, Poco Lee for hijacking his song and stealing the money Wizkid sprayed him.

According to him, Wizkid sprayed him 3000 dollars during a stage performance but Poco Lee, who picked up the money on stage, gave him only 600 dollars. Read here.

He also threatened the dancer in a now-deleted post. He wrote,

In reaction to his outburst, he was labelled an ingrate by show promoter, Kogbagidi, who had been housing him since he rose to fame.

He was also sent packing to his former area of residence, as seen in a video shared online.

However, Nigerian celebrities including Olamide, Slim Case, Nkechi Blessing, and others have appealed to Kogbagidi to forgive and give him another chance because he acted out of ignorance.

Olamide wrote, “@kogbagidi this life no get manual .. as we de live Na so we learn. Forgive am.”

Popular Nigerian show promoter, Kogbagidi, has kicked upcoming singer, Portable, out of his house after the latter called dancer, Poco Lee, out.

Portable, who recently came into limelight after legendary singer, Olamide, jumped on his Zazu Zeh track, took to social media to accuse Poco Lee of hijacking his intellectual property and stealing the money Wizkid sprayed on him.

The Zazu star, in a video he shared on social media, lambasted Poco Lee, calling him a ripper and insisting that he return the money he allegedly stole from him.

Reacting to this, Portable’s manager, Kogbagidi, who was pissed off by the move, accosted him and sent him out of his house. Kogbagidi berated portable’s action, tagging it as unruly and unprofessional.

In his words,

“Unruly and unprofessional conduct is always expected from upcomings .You never can tell what goes on in their mind or head . Am shocked and embarrassed at this point . Do I need to fix your career and your head at the same time ?”

According to her, premium economy ticket now costs N1.5 million and that amount would make a huge impact in her business.

She stated that if anyone sees her flying economy, they shouldn’t think she is suffering or her years of hustle has not paid off because flight fare is expensive.

The Big Brother Naija star wrote on her Instagram page,

Budding singer, Portable, has called out popular dancer and hype man, Poco Lee, for allegedly trying to hijack his hit song, Zazu zeh.

The Zazu star also accused Poco of cornering the money music icon, Wizkid, sprayed him while he performed at a show recently. 

It can be recalled that Wizkid brought up the budding musical artist, Portable, to perform alongside him during a concert. During the concert, Big Wiz is seen spraying dollar bills on the musician as he thrills the audience with his street anthem.

Well, in a new video expressing his displeasure, Portable noted that the money Wizkid sprayed on him totaled 3000 dollars, but Poco Lee, who picked up the money on stage, gave him only 600 dollars.

In a now deleted post, he wrote,

“$3k Ika Money piker na dance them say male you con dance, na werey olorin money you dey park zulezuuzu no space again zekinzek. Popular Nigerian singer, Zlatan Ibile, has promised a reward of N7.3 million to anyone who finds his missing designer eyewear.

Zlatan made the pledge in a post shared on his Insta-stories moments ago, while revealing that one of his prized and expensive Cartier glasses went missing at a show last night.

Lamenting over the loss of the expensive eyewear, Zlatan promised $18,000 (N7.3 million) to any fan who could find it and give it back to him.

“I get 18k USD (N7.3M) for anyone who can find my Cartier glasses. AZUL no make me remember wetin happen last night”, he wrote.

A while ago, Toyin Abraham praised her husband, Kolawole Ajeyemi, as she described him as a man full of wisdom.

According to Toyin, her husband talked her out of leaving “early” after attending a party Eniola Badmus organized to celebrate her 20 years of acting, Toyin revealed that her husband told her that she shouldn’t leave people that were her friends long before they became a couple, as they could see her as an enemy due to her marital status.

Sharing a lovely photo of herself and her husband, she wrote;

“At the Eniola’s party, it was fun but timing became late. I informed my husband @kolawoleajeyemi that it was time to go home. He said NO. Don’t leave the people that were your friends even before we got married. You should not become their enemy because you are now married. That sentence touched me.
