Award winning Nigerian music producer,Don Jazzy has joined the long list of Nigerian celebrities to bless Davido after he pasted his account details on social media.
The “Omo Baba Olowo” has been topping the Twitter trend table for over 24 hours and is also trending on other social media platforms after he called on his friends and fans to send money to his account.
Davido initially asked his friends to send him N1 million each as proof of their friendship, but he later extended his request to fans and lovers of his music.
Many celebrities, including billionaires, E-Money, Femi Otedola, Obi Cubana, and others have sent in their donations to the popular entertainer and music executive, who has raked in over N170 million and counting as at the time of writing this report.
In the latest update shared on his Instastories, the singer revealed that Mavin Records Boss, Don Jazzy just sent him $11,000 which amounts to over N4 million.
Nollywood actress, Etinosa Idemudia has taken to social media to jokingly accuse popular singer, Davido, of making her commit a financial blunder.
According to the thespian, she mistakenly transferred the sum of N700,000 to a friend, instead of N70,000.
She attributed the error to Davido who has been brandishing the huge sums of money he has been receiving from his friends and fans after he posted his account details online.
The mum of one shared screenshots of her chat with the friend and the payment receipt of N700,000. However, she has appealed to her friend to refund the balance of N630,000.

Former Presidential Aide and author, Reno Omokri has a word for people who go into debt in a bid to show their love to someone.
According to him, there’s nothing wrong in helping people financially but it’s not wise to go into debt while trying to prove your love to someone.
He advised people to invest their money in a venture that would make them wealthy, instead of spending it on someone/something that would put them in the spotlight.
This comes in the wake of popular singer, Davido’s stunt where he dared his friends to each send N1 million to his account as a proof of their friendship.
“Nothing wrong in giving money to people. But, donât go into debt to show people how much you love them. Even worse is going into debt to try to belong to a clique that already knows who belongs and who doesnât. Use your money to get wealthy, not to get attention!
When you feed the poor, God feels you. When you feed those that are richer than you, God deals with you. Your wisdom is profitable. To you. Your foolishness is also profitable. But to others. Not you. How can you give someone what your havenât given your mother?
God does not reward nice people. He rewards wise people.”

Supportive spouse is mostly a myth.
If you find that, hold her with your life,”he wrote.

In his words,
“Preachers! Pastors! Ministers! MOGs! I’ve cancelled 95% of you lately. Stop acting like you’re the only ones with access to God. Just because someone refuses to be your ‘SHOW DOG” doesn’t mean they’ve fallen off the wagon and will never access God because you’re not in the picture, you’re not the custodian of God’s private number.”
“Dear pastors God is everywhere and will respond to everyone who calls out. Everyone!!! The next pastor who call me to speak ‘christanese’, I’m gonna put you on full blast”, he added.

Davido also called out some celebrities who didn’t send in their donations and asked them to credit his account with immediate alacrity.
It was in one of those videos he called out Seyi Tinubu and asked him to do the needful. Well, it seems the politician’s son obliged his request as he took to his Instastory to tell Davido to do free concert for his fans.

The random fan who hours ago, gifted Davido the whopping sum of N1.6 million after he coincidentally met him at a mall in Dubai, UAE has been called out over an alleged debt.
It should be recalled that on Wednesday, a fan of the singer ran into him at a mall in Dubai, and while most people were making wireless transfers to Davidoâs account, the gentleman, said to be a luxury personal shopper, gifted him 10k Dirhams (1.6 million Naira) in cash.
Well, not long after the gesture made rounds on social media, a man has claimed that the generous fan is owing him money and threatened to iron out the issue when they meet.

Many Nigerian celebrities have decided to try their luck after superstar singer and music executive, Davido shared his account number on Twitter and received over 100 million naira from his friends in barely 24 hours.
Reacting to the recent development, the former Big Brother Naija fake housemate mocked celebrities hiding under Davido’s cruise to share their account numbers on social media. According to her, they should just open up to their fans that they need money.
Speaking further, Ese noted that the singer received such positive response from people because he had helped a lot of people in the past.
In her words,
“Wait is it not funny how everyone confidently post acc details because Davido did it. Incase you don’t know let me tell u something you need to know. Davido has helped a lot of people, and for the first time he wants to know how far people can really go for him; more like “make I even see pple way go show me love”.

“Some of these people sharing money upandan if the people who really need this money ask you now, you wont give them. Just saying respectively.
Money actually stops nonsense , Iâm walking away đââïž even females canât ask for money easily from men , without them wanting to sleep with them 1st, Most people donât like me cause I say things how they are đđđđđđ.

Delta state governorâs aide, Ossai Ovie Success has urged popular Nigerian singer, Davido to donate the over 100 million naira donations from his friends to charity.
Recall that the DMW boss threw social media into a frenzy on Wednesday, November 17th after he called out his friends on social media, asking them to send N1m each towards his birthday. They all yielded the call and in barely 24 hours the singer hit and exceeded his 100 million naira target.
Reacting to this, Ossai Ovie Success noted that rather than using the money to clear his Rolls-Royce like he had initially started, the 30BG boss should give the donations to charity.
In his words,
âDavido should donate the over 100M he has gotten to charity instead of using it to clear his Rolls-Royce. A lot of people are suffering out there.”
See his post below,
Meanwhile, it was noticed in Davido’s recent updates, that debits have been restricted from the account meaning as of this moment, he canât withdraw any money from the account.
Most times, bank place an account on Post-No-Debit (PND) which is basically an instruction to not to allow any withdrawals or transfers from the bank account of account owners, essentially blocking the account from outflows. It is usually drastic a measure taken to allow for investigation and possibly to reclaim any illegal inflow into an account.
Peter and Paul of the Psquare singing group trended yesterday after they reunited for the first time in more than 4 years having settled their differences but they were not the only trending topic because Davido literally broke the internet on the same day.
Davido shared his account details and raked in well over 130 Million Naira (minus bitcoin and other forms of appreciation he received).Â
In a rather surprising move, Rude Boy then tried to turn it into a ‘bambiala competition’ by sharing his account details online under the guise of P-square pull power but social media users frowned heavily on the act.
A little boy has gone viral after he was filmed attending to his sister in the halls of a school environment while their mother sat for a quiz.
In a video shared online, the boy is seen carrying and feeding his sister a bowl of pap.
The Facebook user who shared the video wrote ;
Their mother was writing quiz, and his little sister was crying. He had no option than to mix her food and started feeding her. This little boy won my admiration today. Learn to train your sons to be responsible because in the future they will be of help Train your sons just as you train your daughters .
If his mother had not train him very well, she would have suffered so much today.
Nigerian Singer, Harrysong has poured encomium on his colleague, Davido, whom he described as the biggest and most powerful influencer in Africa.
According to the Harry, Davido is a god amongst men. This is coming hours after the DMW Boss raked in over 130 Million Naira after he posted his account details online and asked friends/fans to bless him.
See Harrysongs’ post below ;
Davido is the biggest and most powerful influencer in Africa.
He probably didn’t expect it but he was quite appreciative of it… Davido, as he has done for close to 24 hours now, took to his Instagram page to give an update on who amongst his “true friends” sent him the N1m he requested for hours ago.
In one of his newest update, the singer was quite surprised to have received an alert from his first ever baby mama, Sophia Momodu as while acknowledging receival of her gift, he screamed out her name in block letters before thanking her for the kind gesture.
He wrote,
Haaaaaaa MAMA IMADE @thesophiamomodu THANK U!! Received !! â€ïžâ€ïž
What started off as a joke has turned out to be a multimillion Naira making scheme for Davido as so far, the singer has amassed a whopping N140m since his last update as at the time of filing this report.
He’s still called out some people to to send in their quota and no one knows for sure, if the gifts will keep rolling in for the rest of the day.
Popular reality star, Mercy Eke, has been dragged on micro-blogging website after she tried to pull a “Davido” on her fans.

Nigerian Singer, Cynthia Morgan is currently being dragged online after she shared her opinion on being celebrated.
In her words ;
“If you have to compel people to celebrate you, it means there is nothing to be celebrated”
However, some fans thought she was indirectly taking an aim at Davido due to the fact that her opinion is coming at a time people sent money to Davido’s account to “celebrate” him.
Below are some reactions from social media users ;

Davido revealed earlier today that he newly opened a bank account just so his “true friends” will have a channel to bless with him with money to prove the genuineness of their friendship.
He posted the account number on his social media page and quite a number of people gifted him with millions of Naira which have now accumulated to over N130m (as at the time of filing this report).
Davido made sure to give updates of the amount his money had gotten to from time to time as he received numerous credit alerts and it was noticed in his recent updates, that debits have been restricted from the account meaning as of this moment, he can’t withdraw any money from the account.
Given the influx of money that went into Davido’s account today, it’s quite understandable why his account was placed on PND.
A Nigerian man identified as Mazi Ogbonnaya has taken to his social media page to share photos of the newly completed house his gifted his mother and he used the opportunity to appreciate her for all the sacrifices she made to cater for him and his siblings ever since the death of their father.
Read his lengthy post below ;
âA little 4 bedroom flat bungalow gift from a son to his mother. The boy lost his father when he was just 4. This woman has been a widow for the past 24 years. She became the father the boy grew up to know.
The boy would watch his mother struggling to feed him and his siblings.
Some relatives made life unbearable for her too. The boy watched her toiling, starving herself to feed her children.
While in primary 4, the little said enough was enough. He must do something to support his mother.
He started selling water in the market and later became a saleâs boy. Mother tried to stop him but the boy was stubborn. In Primary 4, the boy bought his mother a cooking pot from the money he saved. The mother cherished that pot and still preserve it till now.
This didnât stop the boy from taking first position from primary one to finishing. He was a hustler who believed in changing narratives for good.
He had dreamt of making his mother proud. He had dreamt of wiping away her tears.
After the lost of her husband who was doing well before he died of accident in 1997, she was asked whether to remain or remarry. Mother said she must remain and bring up her lovely husbandâs kids.
Mother called this particular son: âdi mâ meaning âmy husbandâ.
The boyâs name is Ogbonnaya. The boy was named after his father. The name follows him. He acts like one. Making sure his motherâs needs are met.
The woman was so supportive. She would punish the boy for associating with some boys she thought might deceive him.
The boy thought mother was being wicked. But he would later see she was rightly protecting him. As the boy was growing, he loved books. He made uncompleted building his home. He read books and write books there. His mother would tell his siblings not to disturb him.
The boy should be left alone.
Going to the university of Nigeria NsỄka at the age of 18. Mother was at á»mỄgwá» and didnât know when the boy sneaked out to find his way after those he looked up to decided to choose his fate for him and he refused. Life was a bet.
The boy took his own fate and left to find his future. The boy would be pretending that all was well so that his mother would not get BP. He would squeeze some money and send her, claiming business was going fine whereas he barely fed.
At NsỄka, the boy made name as his books became a national anthem in some high institutions. The day he graduated and went home, his mother killed a cock for him to celebrate his success.
After NYSC, the boy went home. In the minds of everyone he had no job.
And yes, he had no job. That very midnight, the rain was heavy. Wind blown off the roof of the house his father built years ago. He saw the mother crying. He didnât talk. His mind was wandering over what to do.
In the morning, the boy said to his mother:
âGo and call me a carpenterâ.
Mother replied: âwhere did you see money to roof the house? Where? You donât have a job yetâ.
The boy chuckled. âCall me a carpenter firstâ.
She did.
âHow much will it cost to pull down this whole roof and reroof it again?â, the boy asked the carpenter who also was shocked. Person wey no get job dey talk of roofing a house.
Off they went to building materials. Few hours later, truck full of woods and zinc arrived the compound
Mother and neighbors were shocked..but the boy has no job. How come? Before getting to night, the house was roofed. The next day, the boy left on low-key. It was a news. âA boy who just came home roofed their house after NYSC. Did he know the house will fall before coming home?â
The boy now said: âitâs better to build this woman a befitting house. She needs fresh air now sheâs alive. Not when sheâs gone, I will start building house in her absence just to impress people. She needs to enjoy herself now. She has passed through a lot.
It is time for her to enjoy. I donât mind denying myself some luxury and comfortâ.
He called JW Nomic Nweji Michael the CEO of Nomic Constructions Ltd and told him to draw him a house so that heâd be looking at the drawing. That was how the project started.
Within a year, itâs completed. He didnât even go home. He trusted the engineer who was doing everything and sending him photograph.
This is me saying, thank you for being my mother. Thank you for making sure my fatherâs name did not wipe out from the surface of the earth.
You call me âdi mâ. You give me advice daily. You pray for me daily. You passed through a lot, starve yourself so that I could eat.
I donât have much to say, thank you mother. Afá» mỄrỄ Odogwu. Afá» mỄrỄ Maazá», this is your house. I made sure I built it to my own taste.
No management. I needed standard work. Here it is. You need fresh air. You deserve good things of life maka na ỠmỄrỄ Odogwu.
Manage this small thing. Who knows? My next project for you will be bigger. Because you deserve everything good and perfect. ỠmỄrỄ Odogwu.
I donât need to be Dangote before I do this. But then, I have to do this..
