A Nigerian lady was stunned by her sister’s first date which turned out to be a disguised introduction to her potential partner’s family.
@Mimee_ilo shared on Twitter (X) that unknown to her sister, the first date with her potential partner took an unexpected turn when her date’s family member showed up, disclosing the true reason for the meeting.
The sister said over WhatsApp that her date’s family wanted them to tie the knot the next year. After the secret introduction, she promises to stop talking to the man.
Her sister claims that even though she informed the man that her dad needed her help at home, he refused to let her leave. She begged @Mimee_ilo to pretend to be calling and yelling at her so she could abscond from the date.
Tweeps claim the man jumped right into the marriage introduction because he was tired of talking stage. Many marveled at the man’s audacity to bring his family members to his first date with a potential partner.
