Big Brother Naija ‘shine ya eyes’ housemate, Nini, has revealed that she’s hoping her boyfriend will come to Lagos to see her if she makes it to the finale.
Nini made the disclosure when Biggie asked her the first thing she will do when she leaves the house, she replied that she will get her phone and call her mother, and call her boyfriend too because she has missed him so much.
She was almost teary-eyed when she talked about the people she missses the most and she stressed that she hopes she sees her boyfriend very soon.
During the course of the show, Nini has been poached by lover-boy Saga, but she has kept her stance that she has a serious relationship outside.
The boyfriend however, has remained in the dark and Nini fans do not really know who he is.
Nigerian rapper, Speed Darlington has taken to social media to tackle Nigerian men who believe sleeping with a girl on her period brings bad luck.
According to the controversial rapper, he doesn’t believe that period sex has negative effect and people who have that belief are superstitious and too spiritual.
He added that it is only black people that have that mentality as he has never heard a white person make such statement.

Legendary Nigerian Juju singer, Sunday Adeniyi Adegeye better known as King Sunny Ade, has lost his wife, Risikat Ajoke Adegeye.
Risikat, a former member of the Lagos State House of Assembly and a party member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) died on Tuesday, September 21 after a brief illness.
Mr George Folarin Olawande in a statement released on behalf of the family confirmed her death.
The statement reads,
“We wish to formally inform, friends, well-wishers, political associates, and the general public that Hon Risikat Ajoke Adegeye passed on after a brief illness during the early hours of Tuesday, 21st September 2021.
Hon Risikat Ajoke Adegeye was a Honourable Member in the 6th Assembly of the Lagos State House of Assembly.
She will be greatly missed not only by her immediate family but also by her political associates and followers. Further information in respect to her burial ceremony will be announced later after extensive consultations with the family.
“Thank you as we pray that she continues to rest peacefully and eternally with the Almighty God.”
Popular Nigerian rapper, Vector has condemned the act of gang wars, calling it something that has always and will always be stupid.
The rapper took to his IG page recently condemn the act, saying those people who kill others in the name of being in a gang, doesn’t make them harder or rugged.

A Nigerian lady has on social networking platform, Twitter stated that a woman should be spending on her male partner irrespective of the state of her finances.

According to her, the little girl wanted to follow her siblings to school but she couldn’t allow her, possibly because she is not old enough to start school. However, her daughter took offense and went to hide in a laundry basket.

Nigerian professional dancer, Kaffy has taken to social media to express gratitude to God for sparing her life after she suffered drug allergy.
Kaffy who shared her near-death experience after taking a drug she was allergic to, revealed that at some point her lungs were collapsing, eyes changing colors, belly swelling, and taking breath felt like she was slipping into a dangerous sleep.
Narrating the experience she advised her fans and followers to be careful of medications they take, as some drugs can be lethargic to the system.

Nigerian Footballer, Jude Odion Ighalo‘s estranged wife, Sonia has replied a concerned Instagram follower who asked if she and the footballer are back together.
The mother of three hosted a question and answer session on her Insta-stories, where her followers could ask her anything, including personal questions.
An Instagram follower then seized the opportunity to ask if Sonia and her footballer husband, Jude Ighalo have settled their differences and back together.

Popular Businesswoman and YouTuber, Laura Ikeji has taken to social media to recount her near-death experience with generator fumes, while warning people of the dangers of putting their generator set close to their home.
Laura, in a series of posts shared on her Instagram page, narrated how she and her friend almost lost their lives after inhaling generator fumes but thankfully, she woke up and went to turn off the generator set before it could cause more harm.

Let me tell y’all a lil story and how dangerous this generator fume is. So years ago I went to visit my friend at her place in Oniru, decided to pass the night. Power went off at 12midnight or so and she went to put the gen on. And we slept off, I woke up about 1 or 1:30 am.
I opened my eyes but I couldn’t move, I couldn’t even raise a finger, we both had inhaled the fume for long, I could barely see anything cos the house was covered in smoke.
And I started praying in my heart, the blood of Jesus save us, save us. Suddenly I started coughing and could move my head, looked at the sitting room and saw my friend on the floor, she already passed out, how she got there I didn’t know. That was when I used all the strength in me to get up the bed, with a terrible headache, my bones were weak, I slowly walked to the door and opened.
Managed to put off the generator that was just in front of the door and started throwing up. Went back into the house that was very dark and started kicking things until I felt my friend’s leg and I started pulling her out of the house still throwing up. We eventually came out.
My breathing was slow, my bones were weak, couldn’t talk or explain to the few neighbors who came to where we laid, just in front of the house on the ground. The neighbors started pouring water on us, and some in typical Naija fashion were praying.
All of a sudden my friend started breathing and throwing up too. Long story short, we survived and left the house that morning. If we had stayed in the house for longer hmmm God forbid. So when I hear a family of 5, 6, etc died from a generator fume, I know what could have happened.
Pls move ur generator far far away from the house u sleep. These generators re dangerous.”
Popular Nigerian gospel singer, Lanre Teriba’s baby mama has taken to social media to call him out, accusing him of being a deadbeat dad.
Lanre’s baby mama identified as Natasha, in a lengthy Facebook post alleged that the singer has refused to pay their children’s school fees.
According to her, she borrowed money to enroll their three-year-old son, Diamond in school when she got tired of waiting for Lanre.

Media personality, Daddy Freeze has reacted to a viral video of women praying fervently for their husbands not to cheat on them.
In what appears to be a couple’s church program, a pastor who lead the prayers, told the women to pray for their husbands to only find them desirable and despise other women. Thereafter, the pastor asked them to plant a kiss on their husband’s lips.
