In the caption, she had the screenshot of her dream car since 2017 but later sent it to her husband in 2019 when he was her boyfriend.

On her 30th birthday, seven years later, he tricked her into getting dressed up for a restaurant reservation, which turned into a surprise celebration with her dream car in front of their home.

Unable to contain her joy, the woman @betterpikin_ immediately embraced her dream car and showed out the car key as a representation of aspirations coming true.

A Twitter user @alexxyrn_ shares the notion that using an Android phone equates to being financially destitute.

There has always been an internet debate about the better between the Android and iPhone gadgets.

Many users of these brands of smartphones compare them, drawing conclusions on real and unfounded facts to declare one greater than the other.

While many would choose android because it allows customization to user’s taste, many love iPhone because it is faster in network and have better performance.

Many pointed out that using iPhones as a way of assessing a person’s financial status is highly misguided, as one cannot tell what lengths a person went to acquire the phone, nor is the phone an indicator of wealth.

Talking about domestic violence with media personality, Doyin David of the @doyinscorner podcast show, a Nigerian man shares how he survived abuse from his wife.

Recounting what led to his failed marriage, the man reveals how his wife who is quite religious, beats him up to a stupor every time an argument or misunderstanding ensues between them.

He mentioned being reluctant to leave the marriage in consideration of the children they’ve had and his love for her. He also shares how she begs him for forgiveness after each abuse episode which he would forgive.

What however broke the camel’s back was the cheating she added to the list of atrocities. The man discovered his wife was sleeping with two of her pastors and he just couldn’t take it any longer.

A Nigerian lady expressed disappointment and frustration after paying ₦35,000 for a seafood boil from a food vendor, citing its unpleasant smell and poor quality.

A lady @mk_of_goodlife became a victim of “What I ordered vs What I got” after a food vendor delivered a substandard seafood boil despite the hefty sum paid.

She captioned,

“See Wetin i pay 35k for 🤮 the smell that was coming out from this thing 🤮 I can’t tell all I have to say is no body should patronize this brand if not your money go waste, 😡😡😡 I swear @THATSEAFOODGIRL you can do better 🙄😏”

The lady pondered if she had paid ₦35,000 for one egg, two shrimp, plantains, one hot dog, and two meatless crabs, feeling both frustrated and disappointed.

She was furious and warned others not to waste their money on a seafood boil from the food vendor that was not worth the price and had a bad smell.

A white woman narrates her unpleasant experience with dating Nigerian men who always scam her in the end.

Sharing her love life woes via video, the middle-aged lady recounts how her first Nigerian lover disguised herself as someone else and pressured her for money every time.

According to her, he got so greedy she had to break up the relationship before he finally confessed to being a Nigerian who is soon getting married to a Nigerian woman.

The second who she dated for a year, was a little better but he was also with her for her money. His reason was that he had a critically sick mother to treat and education to self-fund.

Caught in her feelings, the American woman mentioned the third Nigerian man ruining her finances and destroying her life.

What was shocking was her praying for these men and somewhat explaining away the reasons for their terrible actions. She also complimented Nigerian men on their good looks and hopes for a genuine lover soon.

A Nigerian dad has humorously recounted the extreme measures he took to evade assisting his son with his Arabic homework.

The dad @angry_ustaaz shared the amusing story on the trending challenge, We listen, We don’t judge, on Twitter (X), stating how he and his wife stylishly avoided their son’s Arabic assignment request.

He disclosed that his wife intentionally referred their son to him because she had no idea about the assignment. Upon learning of the wife’s actions, he instantly feigned sickness before his son’s arrival.

He tweets,

“My son brought his homework from Islamiyah, and it was all in Arabic. He asked his mom to help him, she knew she couldn’t do it. But claimed she was busy in the kitchen and that he should bring it to me. Thank God I heard her from the room. I quickly jumped into bed, covered myself and started shaking before he came in. High fever . Your guy went back to his mom to tell her that I was sick, she rushed to the room to check upon me. We looked at each other and started laughing. Scope pass scope. Please let’s go back to Islamiya oo.”

Immediately, the young boy informed his mum, who dashed to the bedroom to observe her husband. The couple locked eyes together and burst into laughter.

They had both tried deflecting the son’s assignment because of their lack of knowledge of Arabic studies and to save themselves from embarrassment.

A Nigerian lady has shared a poignant series of pictures showcasing her mother’s remarkable recovery after suffering abuse at the hands of her father.

The lady @pelebe45 shared photos on social media showing her mother’s transition from 2019 to 2023 after escaping domestic abuse.

Before her father finally left the home and his duties, her mother endured three years of domestic abuse. @pelebe45 explained with each photo that her father took advantage of every chance to mistreat her mother, even though she was unoffensive.

She had a slender build and seemed dull because of the repeated beatings she received during the years of abuse. Her mother celebrated her first birthday in 2022 without experiencing domestic violence.

She looked stunning in body type and style, accessorizing her outfit with exquisite pieces.

Her mother’s transformation journey has sparked rage and raised awareness about domestic violence.

Nigerian singer, Skales expresses concerns over the challenges OAP Dotun is facing over child custody, stating that he strongly disapproves of anyone supporting the mistreatment.

Recall that Dotun and his ex-wife, Taiwo Oyebanjo have been fighting for custody of their two daughters after their marriage failed. Dotun has been denied access to his daughters to date.

Skales expresses his disapproval on Twitter (X), stating that he understands the OAP difficulties although the situation might not be his problem he feels downhearted to see Dotun struggle.

Joe Igbokwe, a chieftain of the Nigerian ruling political party, APC, has condemned singer Davido‘s comment about the country in an international media space.

Davido had on an American podcast, warned US citizens against relocating to Africa, especially Nigeria, saying the Nigerian economy is in “shambles”.
