A man has raised concerns about the competence of engineering students after witnessing their inability to repair a generator at a party, requiring the assistance of an artisan.

Sharing on Twitter (X), the man @winexviv disclosed that the generator suddenly developed a fault while the Mechanical Engineering final year students of Imo State University were hosting a graduation party.

To his surprise, none of the engineering graduates had any idea how to fix the generator which resulted in searching for a skilled generator artisan.

Following the incident, he questioned the quality of graduates, asserting that most are unemployable graduates who lack literacy.

In a video shared by @identical_skete_twinz, the woman was seen easily jumping into the pool without worrying about the water’s color or infection risk.

The woman glided around the pool easily, her legs wagging with pleasure, although it looked like a fish pond filled with spirogyra.

Despite the blue-decorated tiles, the swimming pool’s green appearance gave the impression that it was a fish pond.

The man of God who is best known for his relationship counsels, weighs in on one of the most popular verses of the bible which admonishes submission for women in marriage.

A man’s resourcefulness has got people talking as he manually operates a makeshift bridge in town, earning his daily come.

In a video shared, the man provided his services by setting up a large plank on a drainage ditch to serve as a makeshift bridge for passersby, who were primarily ladies.

Women waited in shifts to cross the road by walking on the plank, and the man was filmed accepting payment from them.

Some chose to leap over or enter the drainage ditch instead of paying to reach their destination.

As the video went viral, some netizens claimed the man had been operating the makeshift bridge for a long time in Awka. Many speculated the drainage ditch was a private construction so passersby must pay.

While some insisted on jumping the drainage ditch rather than paying the man, others asserted the makeshift service was preferable to begging for alms on the street.

Jane Pwajok emerges as the University of Jos’ first female Student Union Government president, winning the election by an overwhelming majority.

The president-elect shared on Twitter (X) that she had won by a margin of more than 1,000 votes, out of five presidential candidates, making her the first female SUG president.

Reactions trail the comeback of the grass-to-grace sensation, Jumoke Oniburedi who hit the spotlight in 2016 for photo-bombing an international shoot.

Renowned Nigerian photographer TY Bello was photographing UK popstar Tinie Tempah in the streets of Lagos when Jumoke Orisaguna who hawks bread at that time, walked and was captured in the scene.

It was when the picture came out and Jumoke’s perfect fit into the photograph became the talk on social media that her fortunes changed for good.

However, after trending for a couple of years, no one heard of her again until recently when the search began and was rediscovered by the initiative, Cardinal Foundation in partnership with City FM 105.1, Radisson Blu, and Media Room Hub.

Her reappearance in the social limelight at “The Comeback of Olajumoke (Oni Buredi) Press Conference” shows the model narrating the story after her then breakthrough.

According to her, she was exploited by her manager then due to her illiteracy, making her go back to point zero. Moving forward, Jumoke expresses the decision to go back to school and become a presenter.

A Nigerian woman has called out a movie producer after discovering her wedding photo had been used without permission in a Nigerian movie with actors’ faces photoshopped onto her and her spouse.

The woman @larabillionaire shared on Twitter (X) that poor production has a mutually beneficial relationship with the Nigerian entertainment sector.

In her tweet,

“Huge chunk of those in the Nigerian entertainment industry (and the whole country tbh) have an affinity for mediocrity Shoddy attempt at creativity and just overall unprofessionalism. Cos why is my wedding picture in a movie with faces of the actors plastered on our faces? I’ve tried my best to reach out to the writer(?) of the movie, all to no avail. As a person in such public space, why are you unreachable? Just senseless on all fronts.”

She questioned why the production team would try to show off their skill and creativity by photoshopping the actors’ faces onto her wedding photo. Her attempt to connect with the film’s producer and writer has failed.
