Belgian footballer, Romelu Lukaku has returned to Stamford Bridge following a deal worth £98million, Chelsea FC has confirmed.
Lukaku struggled at Chelsea in his first spell and left permanently about seven years ago but his success at Inter Milan, where he helped them win the Italian Serie A, made Chelsea complete a £98million deal to bring the Belgian back to the Premier League.
Discussions with Inter Milan reached a conclusion on Saturday after days of negotiations over the fee and structure of the transfer.
The 28-year-old landed at Biggin Hill airport on Wednesday evening ahead of his move back to Stamford Bridge, having passed the main part of his medical in Milan on Monday.
He then flew to Nice for meetings with his agent Federico Pastorello in Monaco on Tuesday and has now put pen to paper on an emotional return to west London.
Posting in their website and social media handles, Chelsea FC wrote; “Welcome home, @RomeluLukaku9.”
“I’m happy and blessed to be back at this wonderful club,” Lukaku told the club’s website. “It’s been a long journey for me: I came here as a kid who had a lot to learn, now I’m coming back with a lot of experience and more mature.
“The relationship I have with this club means so much to me, as you know. I have supported Chelsea as a kid and now to be back and try to help them win more titles is an amazing feeling.
“The way the club is going fits my ambitions perfectly at 28 and just coming off winning Serie A. I think this opportunity comes at the right time and hopefully we can have a lot of success together.
“Since I left Chelsea, it’s been a long journey with a lot of ups and downs, but these experiences made me strong and the challenge is to try to help the team win some more trophies. I can’t wait to get started and to help the club achieve more success.”

A Nigerian pastor who’s based in the United States, has alleged that some pastors entertain their guest ministers by giving them beautiful women after they’re done preaching.
The pastor, Dr Shola Adeoye who is the founder of Lighthouse Church, shared with his followers on Instagram that he has experienced the act may times, saying the church is in deep trouble and need a transformation.
The pastor wrote on Instagram,
“Do you know Pastors entertain their guest ministers with beautiful ladies after preaching?
“Don’t be shocked; I have experienced it many times. The Church is in deep trouble. We need a transformation. May God help us.”
He wrote as his caption, “Not all Pastors ooo. Some ni oo.”
A Nigerian Couple are currently in a celebratory mood as they recently welcomed their bundles of joy, after 12 years of waiting to be called parents.

A fresh graduate of the Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED), Ogun State, identified as Oshokoya Deborah Ayomikun, has reportedly committed suicide.
The Adult Education graduate, who recently finished her final year exams and signed out with her peers, allegedly died after ingesting a poisonous substance suspected to be snipper.
Although details of the circumstances surrounding her death are still sketchy, reports have it that she took her own life because of a possible carryover that would have made her have an extra year.

Popularly Nigerian Singer and ex-member of the defunct PSquare group, Paul Okoye has revealed that a premature testimony can attract bad spirits to a person.

Nigerian Football legend, Jay Jay Okocha, has reacted to Messi’s weekly take home of £1 million at his new club, Paris St-Germain.
It was earlier reported that Messi signed a two-year contract with the French giant and has officially been unveiled by the club. It is expected that he will receive between €30 million-35 million (£25m-30m/$35m-$41m) per season during his time at PSG, while there will also be team and individual bonuses.
Speaking about Messi’s new deal with The Guardian, Jay Jay Okocha said his time as a footballer came too early while Messi came at the right time.
According to the former Super Eagles captain, if he was paid that amount, he would have considered staying back in France instead of coming back to play for Nigeria.
He said; “I came too early and Messi came at the right time. If I was paid such amount of money in my playing days, maybe I would have stayed back in France forever. I wouldn’t have thought of coming to Nigeria.”
Okocha was signed by Paris Saint-Germain in 1998 and played for four years before returning to Nigeria. During his four-year stint with PSG, he played 84 matches and scored 12 goals.

Evicted Big Brother Naija housemate, Yerins has reacted to Maria’s claims that he peeped at her while she was in the bathroom.

A visually impaired Ghanaian woman, identified as Portia Ama, has narrated the petrifying story of how she lost her sight.
The woman, who lives in a small village in the Central Region, alleged that her elder sister bewitched her out of jealously because a rich man promised to marry her when she was just 13-years-old.
Ama, in an interview with D.J Nyame of SVTV, alleged that her sister, who was an idol worshipper, was bent on ruining her chances of getting married to the wealthy man so she continuously chanted her name everywhere until she (Portia) became blind.
According to her, she has visited different pastors to help her regain her sight but all efforts have been futile.
Her words,
“I was staying with my elder sister and about 13 at the time. When the man promised to marry me, my sister started chanting my name anywhere she went. She was an idol worshipper. The next thing I knew, I became visually impaired. We went to pastors but no-one could heal me.”
Ama lamented bitterly about living a solitary life in the village and struggling to survive, while her sisters are now happily married with children.
A married woman was filmed assaulting her husband’s young side chick for ‘sleeping with him till daybreak’.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested a lady, identified as Precious Iwuji, for allegedly selling her photographs and Facebook account to internet fraudsters.
According to EFCC spokesperson, Wilson Uwujaren, the suspect was arrested in the Sabo area of Kaduna state, following an intelligence report about her alleged involvement in cyber fraud.
Wilson said preliminary investigation revealed that the suspect engaged in impersonation by selling her photographs and Facebook account to internet fraudsters, popularly known as Yahoo boys, who used them to defraud unsuspecting victims.
He further added that Iwuji and others arrested will be charged to court soon.

Nollywood actor, Sam Nnabuike has advised his Igbo kinsmen against building multi-millionaire mansion in their hometown.
In a series of posts shared on his Instastories, the actor stated that most of these mansions end up gulping millions in maintenance after staying uninhabited for months. According to him, it is better to build a bungalow or duplex in their hometowns than building gigantic structures.
Sam also faulted Igbo businessmen that do not have houses in the town they run their businesses, but use their money to service their palatial mansions in the village.
Speaking further, the actor stated that those who don’t intend to run for politics have no business building huge edifices in the village as they stay locked up for the major part of the year.
