Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo visited her mum’s grave with flowers on Tuesday, August 10th to celebrate her posthumous birthday.

The beautiful screen diva shared the video of the heartwarming moment she visited her mum’s graveside to celebrate her 70th posthumous birthday.

Iyabo Ojo’s mum, Late Mrs Victioria Olubunmi Fetuga’s gra died in November 2020.

A video the mother of two shared on social media captured the moment she placed flowers on her mum’s grave, sang birthday songs and said words of prayers.

Sharing the video she wrote,

“Happy 70th birthday to my beautiful mama in heaven 💗 keep shining from heaven……. My guiding angel 😇 🤍🤍🤍🕊🕊🕊”.

Meanwhile, the actress also penned an emotional tribute to her mum on her 70th posthumous birthday. Sharing an adorable video of some of the moments they shared when she was alive, Iyabo wrote,

“It’s your birthday today my darling sweet mother

words alone can’t describe how much I miss you, words alone can’t describe how much I love you, words alone…. it can never do me justice ….. but today is your day so I will put all my pain and emotions aside & join heaven to celebrate your heavenly 70th birthday.

Farida Fasisi, the wife of late popular singer, Sound Sultan, has shared an emotional post on her Instagram page, in which she talked about how her world went pitch black, a month ago.

She said it still feels like a bad dream and she could not believe this is her current fate, but she also used the opportunity to thank those who have been with her in this trying time.

She begged her friends and loved ones to keep Lanre alive in their hearts by letting love lead because the singer’s life was the perfect example of love.

In her words ;

Last night, the deputy head of house, Maria and the new housemate who promised to bring drama to the house, Queen had a brawl.

There was a game session last night, where the housemates were split into couples’ and they serenaded their partners.

During the game, WhiteMoney who was the anchor made the guys show off their body.

It was Pere’s turn and during the introduction, Whitemoney said he’s strategic and Queen nodded in agreement.

This prompted a reaction from Maria, who said, “In two days, you know he’s strategic..”.

Queen held that to heart and after the game, she accosted Maria in a high tone. Maria was having none of it and she put her off.

Veteran Nollywood actor, Rich Oganiru has died.

The actor who has been ill for months died on Tuesday 10th of August, 2021.

Not too long ago, there was a video of the actor lying on his sickbed, requesting for financial assistance, and it was shared on social media space.

According to reports, the actor did not survive the illness and has passed on.

The sad news was shared on Facebook by his friends who wrote:

Back in 2012, the Nollywood actor who starred in numerous movies was arrested for allegedly murdering his wife.

According to news reports at the time, Oganiru was arrested following a petition by the family and relatives of his late wife who claimed that she was poisoned by the actor so that he could acquire her wealth.

Oganiru maintained his innocence and said on numerous occasions that he did not kill his multimillionaire wife.

Popular Nollywood Actor, Williams Uchemba, has taken to his social media page to share his opinion on being motivated by the famous quote ‘you can be whatever you want to be’.

According to the Actor, that saying has led many to an early grave.

His post on Instagram reads ;

One of the biggest lies I believed all my life, and till date still see people make the same mistake, is the lie that YOU CAN BE WHATEVER YOU WANT TO BE. This sentence has led so many people to their untimely death, frustration and hopelessness.

Imagine telling a sofa you can be a fridge or a fridge you can be a bed if you believe. Before the manufacturer of the sofa even started manufacturing it, he already knew the purpose of the sofa and the problem it would solve. The manufacture finished the product in his mind even before he started.

Just like the sofa, fridge and bed every individual on earth was created for a different purpose but, the biggest problem they are faced with is HOW TO DISCOVER THEIR PURPOSE. Whenever a product is created there are usually two ways for one to know the purpose of that product (1) ask the manufacturer or (2) read the manual that comes with the product.

Leo Messi has joined the Parisians, having seen his 21-year stay at Camp Nou come to an end.

Lionel Messi agreed a two-year contract to join Paris Saint-Germain and has officially been unveiled by the French giants.

He was given the Jersey Number 30.

Christiana Everest, the mother of woman who reportedly left her husband to marry their pastor has broken silence.

Tina Adeeyo reportedly left her husband of 12 years, Ben Bright to marry popular clergy man, Pastor Moses Adeeyo.

In a video shared on social media Tina’s mother explained that her daughter’s first husband, Ben didn’t pay bride price when he married her daughter 12 years ago.

According to her, Ben did every other rite; traditional and church wedding but neglected the most important thing, her bride price.

“He gave people, both men and women, their right, but, to the parents, when they told him to come and see us, he said he will see us later. There was no bride price. That’s the main thing that makes a woman to be a wife to a man.” She said.

Speaking further, she alleged that after her daughter had their first child and she visited for Omugwo, Ben and his mother sent her out of the home, preventing her from being there for Tina who just put to bed.

Christiana stated that in Tina and Ben’s 12 years of marriage he constantly abused her, which made her daughter move back home multiple times but he always came back begging.

Taking to his Instagram stories the producer shared a video of himself popping bottles at a night club followed by a post which showed him in the hospital.

Married woman reportedly moves in with customer she accused of raping her

A Nigerian Twitter user has taken to the platform to narrate how a married woman ditched her husband and reportedly moved in with a man she accused of raping her.

The Twitter user @MalachyOdo1 who is a Nigerian lawyer disclosed that the woman had claimed that a customer raped her in a hotel.

She opened up to her husband about the unfortunate incident, he immediately sprang into action and reported the incident to the police to get justice for his wife.

In a shocking turn of event the woman has now moved in with the customer in the middle of the investigation.

Narrating how the case played out, the lawyer tweeted,

“As lawyers, the things we see & the stories we hear on daily basis, can be mind blowing. A wife claims that she was raped by a customer in a hotel. The husband reports to the police & in the middle of investigation, the wife moves in with the alleged rapist. Case closed”.

Peter Soji Adeeyo, son of pastor who was accused of snatching his member’s wife has shed more light on the pastor’s relationship with his first wife.

The poet, who seemingly had a dysfunctional relationship with her late father, revealed that she is relieved because a “dark chapter” in her life has ended.

“My father died last week and for some reason I feel absolutely nothing. No sadness, no loss, no grief. What I feel though is relief and closure. I realise I already grieved his 27 year absence from our lives.

A Nigerian lady, Oluwaseun Sakaba, whose husband was killed by Boko Haram in 2018, has lambasted the Nigerian army for sharing photos of ‘repentant’ sect members seeking forgiveness from Nigerians.

Her husband, Lt. Col I. Sakaba, was one of the 44 soldiers killed by the terrorist group during an attack on Task Force Battalion in Metele, Guzamala Local Government Area of Borno State in November 2018.

Sakaba’s brother was also killed in the attack and shortly after, his mother also passed away from the heartbreak of losing two sons at once.

Well, the Nigerian Army shared a photo of repentant Boko Haram members holding placards and begging Nigerians for forgiveness today, August 10.

“T.B Joshua was a magician, a sorcerer who calls himself a prophet” – Rev Chris Okotie (Video)

Clergyman, Chris Okotie has accused the late founder of Synagogue Church of All Nation, SCOAN, Temitope Joshua popularly known as TB Joshua, of being a magician who pretended to be a servant of God.

It can be recalled that TB Joshua died on June 6 and was laid to rest within his church premises on July 7 as demanded by his wife and other family members.

His burial, which gained huge media coverage, was shunned by top Nigerian General Overseers which stirred controversy on social media at the time.

Shortly after his death, it can also recalled that Rev Chris Okotie described him as the “Wizard of Endor” who assumed the title of “Emmanuel”.

In a new development, Okotie has released a video alleging that the late clergyman was a false prophet, a sorcerer and a magician, who pretended to be “Jesus Christ”, the saviour of mankind.

He said in the video, “What is the truth about TB Joshua? Who was he? Was he a product of Christianity? Or a practitioner of shamanism? Was he a servant of the Lord Jesus? Or some itinerant religious quack?” Okotie asked.

“Was he a true prophet, who was misunderstood? Or a hypocrite masquerading under the habiliment of the Faith?

“When God begins a work in scripture, particularly from the old testament, he begins with patterns, what we call types, shadows”.

“You say why because the patterns determine the flow of power and authenticity of that enterprise. He is a magician, a sorcerer, and calls himself a prophet.”

Quoting the Bible verse John 8:32, “Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free”, Okotie added,

“Joshua took that name because he believes he is another Jesus. He believes that God sent him to our world to bring reconciliation between God and mankind, exactly the same way the Lord Jesus was sent, and that is why he took that name Joshua.” he said.

He further alleged that T.B Joshua was helping the needy and doing philanthropic work just so he could be like Jesus.
