Van Vicker has graduated with First class honors decades after his mates graduated from university.
The Ghanaian actor said when his mates were enrolling to go to the university in 1997, his single mother couldn’t afford to send him to school.
He said he should have graduated with his mates in 2000/2001 but he’s graduating in 2021.
“21 years later, here I stand before you with 3 achievements during my graduation,” the Ghanaian actor wrote as he shared a photo he took on his graduation gown.

The above is within the context of my 2021 post on social media and is in no way presumptuous but uprightly to inspire – I could not enroll at a tertiary institution in 1997 because my single mother did not have the funds. If free SHS was available back in the day, most likely I would have graduated in 2000/2001.
My career took off and I have been blessed but as someone who relishes education getting that degree was just a matter of time.
I complete my Masters program this December and I am sorely motivated and committed to go even beyond, God willing.
I thank all those who supported me and is supporting me during this journey.

It sure was an uncommon event as there was a medley of splendour, honour, vibes and pure entertainment at the El Raris (The Uncommon) dinner and awards party hosted by the Colphyssa cum Colbiossa committee of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta at the Banquet Hall, Conference Hotel, Abeokuta on Friday, 23rd of July 2021.
Students from the College of Physical & Biological Science of the varsity and across, all trooped to the Banquet Hall to partake in one of the most highly anticipated events of the session, with a number of them receiving meritorious awards for their remarkable personality over the last academic year.
The event was all shades of glamour with guests in attendance making exquisite fashion statements in their glittering and delectable outfits that gave the hall a variance of colour, style and long-lasting impressions.
Notable awards brandished throughout the night to various remarkable students who all gracefully and elegantly received their honours on stage and acknowledged it by spraying some cash before making away with the perfectly sculptured award, some of these awards ranged from “man & woman of the year” to “most influential, most fashionable, best fresher of the year” amongst others.
The Uncommon party was not all about the awards as it was complemented with electrifying performances from top Nigerian entertainers, T-Classic, Mohbad and Zinoleesky. The appearance and performance of this new wave of Nigerian entertainers had the guests excited as they plunged into party mode the moment the artistes were featured on stage.
These top artistes were not the only ones who brought the heat to the event as the hall was filled with so much energy with popular Nigerian Disc Jockey, DJ 4Kerty and well known hypeman, Toby Shang bringing their A-game into the hall. They were so much of an energetic duo as they raised the roof which was much to the delight and entertainment of the guests.
It sure was an eventful and remarkable program which according to majority of those in attendance, was the first of its kind in the history of social events in UNAAB.

She is driven by money and success and wants to make sure she can take care of herself and her family. She always seeks adventure and gets bored very easily. She is also a resourceful and creative person who enjoys making life beautiful.

Roseline, 26, loves singing, cooking, reading and writing and also takes pride in her talents as an actor and fashion entrepreneur.
The 26-year-old used to be a video vixen, but her passion for dancing led her to her current profession; leader of a girl dance group. Despite working hard every day to cater for her family and loved ones, Roseline always makes time for travel.
Beatrice
Full name: Beatrice Agba Nwaji
Fashion model and up and coming actress Beatrice, is a 28-year-old single mother of a five-year-old boy. She is a graduate of the University of Port Harcourt where she studied marketing.
Beatrice believes that she was “created with a special clay” because she wonders how she is able to do the things she does, without having learned how to do them. She can sing, dance, play basketball and football very well and is also a great hairstylist.
She is a talented software developer and when it comes to games, she is always the winner or the first runner up, even when she is not familiar with the game.

Saskay is a 22-year-old extrovert and lover of books. She enjoys all types of music and speaks of herself as “an embodiment of art”. Discovering her talents and skills and using them to impact others and improve her persona, while striving to find her space in the world, is what she considers to be a high point in her life.
Although she was suspended from school in 2015, Saskay is having the last laugh as a fine artist and has even won titles such as ‘Model of The Year’ and ‘Female Personality of The Year’ at her university.

Princess Francis is a 30-year-old e-hailing service driver and business owner. She lives in Abuja and enjoys cooking, traveling, and watching movies. 29-year-old mother of one Tega is a business owner who loves dancing, travelling, DIY and photography. When she’s not doing any of the above, you can catch Tega swimming, or being the life of a party.
Her “small circle of friends” describes her as easy-going and a great cook – although she thinks that’s debatable, while she speaks of herself as outgoing, enthusiastic and passionate about the things she loves. Tega is always willing to learn and tries to look at difficult situations as an avenue to learn and grow.
One of Tega’s favourite things is motherhood, because it has changed her perspective on a lot and makes her look forward to all the things life will bring her way.
The trial of Uduak Frank Akpan, the alleged killer of Akwa Ibom job seeker, Iniubong Ephraim Umoren, will begin at the Akwa Ibom state Hogh Court 6 in Uyo, the state capital on Monday, July 26.
According to a statement released by the media unit of the Akwa Ibom State Ministry of Justice signed by the information officer in the ministry, Effiong Edet, says the state’s Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Uko Essien Udom (SAN), will be the lead counsel for the prosecution team.
Mr Akpan, who lured the 26-year-old graduate of University of Uyo (UNIUYO) with a fake job interview on April 29, killed her and buried her remains in a shallow grave in his father’s compound.
Ms Umoren was confirmed dead on April 30 and buried on Friday at her hometown, Nung Ita, Ikot Essien in Oruk Anam Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State.
The statement added that the police investigating team had exhumed the deceased’s remains, which was buried in a shallow grave, showing her mouth gagged and the neck strangulated and squeezed, eyeballs bulging and tongue popping out, all allegedly pointing irresistibly to one direction, murder. The statement disclosed that the police had since concluded investigations and sent the case file to the Department of Public Prosecutions (DPP), which could not swing into action immediately because of the recently suspended industrial action embarked upon by Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN).

A Night of Tribute was organized in Lagos for the late Sound Sultan and friends, celebrities, and fans were all in attendance to honor the late singer.

Embattled American singer-songwriter, R.Kelly has landed in more problems as federal prosecutors reveal more sex trafficking allegations against him including one that he had sexual contact with an underage boy.
It should be recalled that Kelly faces multiple charges in New York, Minnesota and Illinois, with many of them related to his alleged abuse of underage girls.
In a court filing last Friday, July 23, the US Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York revealed that it believes Kelly also violated at least one male victim.
According to the filing, which includes new information but no new charges, Mr. Kelly met a 17-year-old boy at a McDonald’s around December 2006, and invited him to a party. When the teen showed up with his mother and stepfather, Mr Kelly allegedly asked him to come alone next time.
After that, prosecutors say he invited the boy to his studio, “under the guise of helping and mentoring John Doe #1 with his musical aspirations”.
“Kelly also asked John Doe #1 what he was willing to do to succeed in the music business and clarified that he wanted John Doe #1 to engage in sexual contact with Kelly,” the document says. “With that backdrop, Kelly then engaged in sexual contact with John Doe #1, in violation of Illinois law.”
Mr. Kelly has pleaded not guilty to the charges and denies ever abusing anyone.
Prosecutors, however, are accusing the musician of coordinating a vast criminal enterprise involving his bodyguards, managers, and other members of his entourage, all geared toward gratifying Mr Kelly’s sexual desires.
“The purposes of the Enterprise were to promote R Kelly’s music and the R Kelly brand, to recruit women and girls to engage in illegal sexual activity with Kelly and to produce pornography, including child pornography,” the US attorney’s office says.
Friday’s court filing spans 55 pages, and includes 20 “Jane Does” and two “John Does”.
Prosecutors say Mr Kelly also asked John Doe #1 to contact a juror in his 2008 child pornography trial, and to tell the juror that Mr Kelly was a “good guy”. They also allege that he tried to start a sexual relationship with a friend of John Doe #1’s, who was 16 or 17 at the time.
Mr Kelly’s New York trial is set to begin on 9 August.

Nigerian Rapper and DMW Signee, Dremo, has revealed that the designers shirt that recently caused controversy on social media is worth a whopping sum of 700 thousand Naira.
Recall that the rapper recently trended online after an Instagram blog known as Gossip Mill insinuated that Davido gave his old shirt to Dremo.

A beautiful young lady has taken to social media amid tears to reveal she’s desperately in need of a man in her life as she denounces “feminism”.
The former feminist in a viral video revealed she would be clocking 40 soon noted that she’s presently desperate for a husband, regardless of class and status.
According to her, toxic feminism clouded her judgement of wanting to be with a man until now which made her miss out on love and marriage.
In the video the lady broke down in tears as she lamented over how everyone around her is getting married and happy in their union while she has remained single.
She called on any man who’s ready for a serious relationship to propose to her.
“I’m so sad right now, I just came to a realization this past few days has been so hard for me. you know how men say women have toxic feminism and that you will get to a certain age and nobody will love you. I feel like I’ve gotten to that stage and I missed out on marriage and on children.

The reality star who gave this advise in a video shared on his official Instagram page told ladies to normalize kissing their boyfriends in public.
According to him, when a lady kisses her man in public; on the train, on the plane, everywhere, it strengthens their bond.
“We need to normalize kissing outside, kiss your bf outside, stop doing inside inside. When you go out kiss me, on the street kiss him, everywhere kiss him ,It’s good, it strengthens everything. In other countries they kiss everywhere, Don’t kiss him inside if you don’t want to kiss him outside”. He said.
