A 40-year-old man named Ismail Azizi in an interview with Afrimax relayed how he died and came back to life six times, he revealed how his community thinks he is a ghost and great witch because he refused to stay dead.

He shared the ostracization he faced from his community, family, and friends. This belief led them to burn him in his house, causing him to die from smoke inhalation, but he still later came back to life.

A man interviewed alongside him to give an account, Al Mansi says,

“When the incident happened, I witnessed everything because I and others were in charge of burying him. Just before the ceremony started, he came out of the coffin. Everyone there immediately ran away because it was terrifying to see someone you know is dead come back to life. This wasn’t the only time; there were other occasions where he died and came back to life.”

Ismail explained that each time he dies, his family and friends gather for his funeral, but he always comes back to life. He described his experiences, “Life continued, but I felt there was something wrong. Every time I died and came back, my body felt strange. Because of the witches in our area, people started treating me as if I were a witch.”

He also shared a serious accident at work where everyone thought he had died. “They took me to the hospital in critical condition, and the doctors told my friends and relatives that I was dead. They took me to the morgue, but I woke up feeling very cold. Fortunately, the morgue wasn’t closed, and I walked out. When my family saw me, they ran away because they thought I was a ghost.”

Ismail also relayed when he died from malaria, “As soon as they placed me in the coffin, I woke up and realized I was alive. This was the second time it had happened. People didn’t believe I was real; they thought I was a ghost.”

He spoke about another incident: “During a trip, our car collided with another vehicle carrying fuel, and I went into a coma. Even the doctors became scared because they had seen me come back to life multiple times. They started treating me as if I were a witch.”

He lives a solitary live and termed his experience as a gift from God as he shared that his grandfather had also resurrected from the dead during his lifetime.

Lagos State Ministry of Environment and Water Resources has sealed a residential apartment situated in Itire-Ikate local government, Surulere for disposing of refuse into the flood on July 3, 2024.

The swift action occurred after a young man immediately called the attention of the environmental agency on social media in the early hours of the morning, sharing a picture evidence of the residents disposing their waste on the street while it was raining heavily.

The young man identified as @adetutuadeoye3 on X (Twitter) wrote,

“This people just poured out their waste to the street water This is no 2 akewukewe street beside ikate local government in ijesha surulere”

Without further ado, the office of the Environmental and Water Resources Ministry forced its officials to locate the residence, who identified the house as No 2, Akewukewe Street, Ikate, Surulere.

“UPDATE: The house has been identified and locked immediately by Environmental Health Service Department of Itire-Ikate LCDA”

The Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps has apprehended some miscreants who were charging passer-bys N100 before they were allowed to use the makeshift crossover bridge at Tradefair.

The video which captured the young men committing these acts, went viral, and many internet users called for them to be brought to justice.

The clip had captured the men, charging pedestrians hundred naira before letting them use the makeshift crossover bridge.

The Honourable Commissioner for the Ministry of Environment and Water Resources, Lagos, Tokunbo Wahab swung into action after he came across the video.

He disclosed that the preparators of the acts had been caught, then went on to share videos of them being whipped away by the LAGESC.

The commissioner also mentioned in the tweet he shared on X (Twitter) that the men who be prosecuted according to the law.

His tweet read; “Following a complaint made by @ARISE0214, miscreants charging people for using the makeshift crossover bridge at Tradefair this morning have been arrested by the operatives of Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps @LAGESCOfficial. The post of a Nigerian writer has sparked a debate online after she said that it is only after a church wedding has been done that you can sleep with your partner.

The post that she shared on X (Twitter) garnered the attention of many after she referred to sex before a church wedding as fornication.

According to the writer, She believes that only a church wedding gives you the right to sleep with your partner, not a traditional wedding.

Her tweet read; “As a Christian, Doing traditional wedding with someone does not give you license to sleep with them. Only the Church Wedding gives you the full right & license to have s3x with them. Your marriage must be blessed by God & the brethren being witness of this. Stop F0rnicating.”

The majority disagreed with her thought-provoking tweet with some believing that tradition existed before Christianity.

A trending video of a Nigerian bride expressing frustration on her wedding day as she tries to make proper church preparations has sparked conversation among netizens.

The video captures the bride expressing disappointment on the phone as she raises her voice towards a male receiver, who is yet to carry out her instruction.

She exclaimed that her wedding guests in the church had constantly been disturbing her over the delay of the wedding programme. She noted that despite being a female, she is dressed for the event as she queries the male receiver for the delay.

Revealing in the video, the bride could be seen ready and dressed in her wedding gown with the stylist finishing her facial look and hairstyle whilst her bridesmaid consoles her.

The lady expressed her regret at the decision of not handling the church preparation herself, feeling overwhelmed with pressure.

An African pastor has electrified the internet with his controversial teaching on the supposed ideal interaction that should be between man and wife.

According to him, the husband is not a friend or partner to his wife, but an owner. Citing the biblical example of Sarah calling Abraham, her husband “lord”, women should also follow suit in surrendering as slaves to their men.

He says verbatim, “Your husband is not your friend, he’s your owner. No you did not hear me, you are owned by your husband. Even as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him Lord. Lord means master or owner. You don’t want to be owned don’t get married.”

The online activist, VeryDarkMan has spoken on the recent Nedu podcast where a Nollywood actress, Kelly Kosi shared some of her experience and sexcapades.

Among other controversial things she said was that of her sleeping with a woman due to accommodation issues she had faced then. This was what caused many to start bashing her online.

However, VDM rose to the defense of Kelly, revealing his own ordeal of being nearly raped by a popular Nigerian celebrity whom he took as a bosom friend, all because he had slept over at his house.

He said he knew his friend preferred men over women but he never believed or expected him to hit on him. He then advised the public to take it gently with people coming outside to say their truth because it took a lot of courage to do so.

An online vendor identified as @lo_nimii was left heartbroken after the company she gave a printing job damaged her custom-made paper bag worth N200k.

The lady disclosed that she has been excited since she announced her plan to rebrand her beauty enterprise. Unfortunately, the printing company has ruined her plans, leading to the loss of a huge amount of money.

She explained that she had to wait for a month when the job was to be delivered in just a week, and despite all the waiting the printer eventually delivered rubbish.

Despite the delay from the company, her package was delivered with a food sack in the rain, damaging the branded paper bag and custom tag.

In the video she posted she demonstrated how the template of the company design for the bag and the tag that she had given to the printer did not align with the measurements on the products that they had eventually delivered, exclaiming that the design did not even look the same. The lady emphasized she intends demanding a refund or a better job.

A young Nigerian man named Akinola Femi, who went viral after he refunded a crypto trader who sent a larger amount than the crypto coin he won from a giveaway has spoken in a recent video shared on X (Twitter).

The young man who revealed that he was a graduate said he couldn’t keep the money because it didn’t belong to him and he is a child of God.

Recall that in the early hours of today, a foreign crypto trader had showered praises on a Nigerian internet user who refunded back his money after he sent more than the amount the individual won in a giveaway.

The young man who goes by the name Lucky on the internet had refunded the crypto trader 90 SOL and kept 10 SOL as he was instructed.

The video recorded him saying;

“I won this giveaway from Raffa Yalvi this morning, after he sent it to me he messaged him that he mistakenly sent 100 SOL which is worth $14K instead of $100. So he requested me to hold ten and sent ninety to him, which I did. I can’t keep the money because it is not mine and I am a child of God. I am very happy with what I did, I am just trying to show to the world that we Nigerians are good people and we have integrity”

The young man’s act of kindness has been on the lips of many Nigerians as they praised him for his goodwill while fellow crypto traders in the crypto community rewarded him with $5,000 worth of Solana cryptocurrency.
