A Twitter user has shared how bus passengers saved a fresh graduate who almost fell victim to kidnappers who disguised as a job opportunity.

According to the lady who shared the story on the micro-blogging platform, the job seeker was on a bus going to Oshodi, and was overheard asking the conductor how she can locate Ajao Estate.

Other passengers noticed she was holding a file and suspected she was going for a job interview in a location she doesn’t know.

Concerned Nigerians who were on the bus with the young lady, insisted she shared the location and helped her check out information about the location online.

It turned out the address and company’s name is fake, and they all advised the young woman not to go to the venue. A passenger went as far as giving her 2,000 Naira to buy breakfast and return home.

Narrating the story, the Twitter user wrote,

“This morning on our way to oshodi, a lady entered and was asking how she can locate ajao estate. While she was asking the conductor I noticed she was with a file (interview ghengeun). Quickly I asked, sorry are you going for an interview, she felt reluctant to reply until guys At the back shouted,” sorosoke for”.

“I knew I was with Twitter family. So she complied and we helped her search for the address on naira land, thank goodness for the traffic btw ojota and Maryland. After discovering it was a scam address we told her to get down at Maryland and
Go home.

“We started giving her recent gist about kidnapping and killings from these unknown interview, she seemed to be a fresh ex corper… I loved how these guy interacted with her I felt so proud of my generation… Indeed we are the leaders of tomorrow.

“Let me add that one of them gave her 2k to buy breakfast and guess what, non asked for her number or flirted…. Kings I Stan.”

A lady, simply identified as Linda, has taken to Twitter to call out her ex-boyfriend after he flaunted his new girlfriend on social media.

The ex-boyfriend had revealed that he built a smart mirror that displays words of affirmation and scriptures for his new girl. He also shared photos he took with her on his Twitter page.

However, Linda, who claims to be his ex-girlfriend, called him out and accused him of cheating on her with his new girlfriend while they were still dating.

According to her, her ex-boyfriend introduced his new girl as his friend and the woman even gushed over their relationship and called them “cute together”.

She added that she dated her ex for 2 years and barely a month after they broke up, he started dating his “friend”

A woman who worked with a bank as a cleaner for 35 years has resigned and left a note for mean staff who treated her badly.

A Twitter user, @joecousins89 who claimed to be the woman’s son shared the letter on the platform and revealed his mum eventually resigned after 35 years and described her boss as awful.

Sharing a snapshot of the letter, he wrote,

“And this is why I love my mum. She’s been cleaning banks for 35 years and today walked out with this lovely note left for that awful manager. Happy retirement Mum – always have the last laugh eh!”

In the note, the woman addressed how badly she was treated over the years and advised the superior staff to be kinder because those in lower positions are humans too.

The letter reads,

“Hi ladies, tomorrow will be my last clean for HSBC. I have made a bucket of iss cleaning materials for the next cleaner, whoever that may be!!

I’ve left the job Julie after the way you dressed me down in the office. It was nothing more than aggressive and cruel but that’s a reflection on your character, not mine. So. going forward, please, all of you, remember, in a world when you can be anything, be kind. Because you are all no better than the cleaner.”
