One of Africa’s Finest Comedian, and Guinness Book of World’s Record holder, Comedian Ayo Makun has schooled a follower who dared to correct him.
Apparently, the comedian while promoting his new movie, 10 days to Suncity, commended Actress, Adeusa Etomi on the role she played in the movie.
Makun wrote; “If you want to enjoy a good actor that is gifted with the ability to bring something unique to the table, go catch @adesuaetomi playing ‘Bianca’ in 10 DAYS IN SUN CITY today.. showing in cinemas”.
The follower then responded; “Did you mean actress?”,
Ay of course reponded, he wrote: “In trying to correct me, you also now have an opportunity to learn from me. lol. The word actor refers to a person who acts regardless of gender, while actress refers specifically to a female person who acts; therefore a female can be referred to by either term. “Actor” can be used for both sexes. But I appreciate your concern”
