Nigerian singer, Ruger has shared how his mother regularly turns him into an errand boy whenever he travels abroad.

Sharing on X, the 27-year-old singer revealed that whenever he travels abroad, his mother usually asks him to carry items in his luggage for other family members living overseas.
However, he said the last item she packed in his luggage shocked him.
Recounting the experience, Ruger wrote, “Anytime I travel from Nigeria, I’m always the errand boy for my mum to pack something in my luggage for other family members abroad. The last one wey she pack inside my luggage na hin shock me pass. MOI MOI LEAFS 😭.”

He said his mum packed moi-moi leaves, which are traditionally used to wrap and prepare moi-moi, a popular Nigerian steamed bean pudding. He found it ridiculous, sending leaves from Nigeria overseas.
The singer’s revelation has sparked amusement, with many netizens likely to relate to travelling abroad with food items and other local essentials requested by family members.
Fans and followers claimed that Nigerian parents aren’t bothered by your fame and celebrity lifestyle because they would still order you around like a child.
