Late Rashidi Yekini, one of the greatest Footballers Nigeria has ever produced, was celebrated yesterday as Nigeria marked her 60 Independence Day Anniversary.
One of his three daughters, Yemisi, took to her page to share a photo of him celebrating Nigeria’s first goal at the FIFA World Cup..

Rashidi Yekini, became a national hero in June 1994 when he scored Nigeria’s first-ever goal (against Bulgaria) in a FIFA World Cup tournament.
