A Nigerian lady has taken to social media to lament, that men especially those from Enugu and Anambra no longer marry from Imo state.
According to the Imo state born lady identified as Esther Sky, men are now running away from ladies from her state and pleads that something should be done to salvage the situation before it gets out of hand.
She further revealed that guys from Anambra state prefers dating Imo ladies as girlfriends, but go back to their villages to marry under the guise of “my mother found a wife for me”.
Esther who is apparently frustrated by the situation of things, pleaded with Nigerians to help her beg men especially Enugu and Anambra men to start taking wives from Imo state.
She noted that asides from Anambra and Enugu men, generally Nigerian men from all tribes are now avoiding marrying women from her state.
However, Nigerians have taken to the comment section to air their opinion, as many opined that bride price of women from Imo is usually on the high side, therefore chasing potential husbands.
