“Are you ashamed to call him your husband?” – Basket Mouth’s wife, Elsie Okpocha slams Rosy Meurer for referring to her husband as “Mr Churchill”

Comedian, Basket Mouth’s wife, Elsie Okpocha has slammed actress, Rosy Meurer, for constantly referring to her husband as “Mr Churchill”.

Following the report of her marriage to Tonto Dikeh’s ex-husband, Olakunle Churchill, and subsequent backlash on social media for “snatching” her colleague’s husband, Rosy has released numerous post addressing the issue.

In a new video posted on her Instagram page, Rosy attempted to address some of the issues surrounding her union with Churchill. She denied claims of being responsible for Churchill’s failed marriage to Tonto Dikeh.

She said what she was accused of has now become her reality and fate as she has eventually married Churchill. According to her, she allowed God’s will to take its course in her life. Watch the video here.

In the video, she addressed her husband as Mr Churchill, without any form of endearment.

Reacting to this, Elsie Okpocha took to her IG story to question why she keeps calling her husband by his surname. She wrote,

“Mr Churchill this, Mr Churchill that… Aunty say ‘my husband’ naaa, abi are you ashamed to call him that??????? Wahala just be like bicycle.”
