Veteran actress, Tricia Eseigbe has revealed that Nigerian music star, Zaaki Azzay, once advised her against buying a Mercedes-Benz G Wagon so she won’t chase prospective suitors away.
The mother-of-one made this disclosure while celebrating the Northern artiste on his birthday today, February 19.
Tricia said the singer, whose trademark is a torchlight, is extremely hardworking and one of the best people she knows.
In the post, she recounted the brotherly advice he gave her in 2007 when she wanted to buy a Mercedes Benz G Wagon.
According to her, Zaaki blatantly rejected the idea and told her it would reduce her chances of finding a husband because men will be intimidated by the luxury car.
She wrote on Instagram,
“I can also remember the brotherly advice he gave to me in 2007 when I wanted to buy a G Wagon Mercedes Jeep, He Blatantly said NO , Sis Shebi U Want Men To Begin Run from U, U wan Marry? This kind Car dey drive Men o Lol ,And Trust me I took to his Advise plus he did to me a great favour cos The Same G Wagon gave my Friends headache,ran their bank accounts low( very difficult And Expensive to maintain).”
The actress is currently married and welcomed a baby girl with her husband in 2020, after 10 years of waiting.
