A female corps member has taken to social media to call out the principal of a popular school in Ogun state, where she was posted to for her primary assignment, for allegedly assaulting her.
According to the young lady, she was posted to a private school in Ogun state for her compulsory one year National youth service, but on getting there she pleaded with the principal to give her a rejection letter.
In a video she shared online, the corps member alleged that this got the principal angry and he went on to beat her. She claimed that he forcefully took her letter from her bag and even laid his hands on her while other staff supported his actions.
A Facebook blogger @Everythingperry who shard the video on the platform wrote,
“A fresh corp member who was posted for her PPA at Marble stone group of school, Abeokuta, Ogun State reported to the school and was abused because she asked for a rejection letter.
Beaten up by the principal of the school and threatened in so many ways imagine! This is very bad and I don’t agree to this act. Please make it go viral people… We choosed to serve our motherland and this is what we get? @Nigerians.”
