Billionaire heiress, Florence Otedola popularly known as DJ Cuppy has spoken about her first and only heartbreak.
The 28-year-old Nigerian disc jockey and singer revealed she had her first heartbreak was when she was 18 and a freshman at the university.
DJ Cuppy who made this revelation in an interview with UK-based show, Presenting, noted that her first heartbreak at age 18 has been the only one she has experienced since then.
Speaking on what she learnt from the experience the Gelato crooner said she learnt never to depend on someone else for her happiness.
In her words,
“My first heartbreak was when I was 18 years old, my first year at the university and I’ve not been heartbroken since then. It showed me a pretty brutal lesson, but I break heart these days.
“That lesson was never ever to depend on someone else to make you happy, you are responsible for your own happiness and happiness cannot be determined on your environment, popularity on your success. It can only come from within”.
