Media personality and entrepreneur, Toke Makinwa has taken to social media to enlighten her fans on what friendship should entail as one grows older.
According to the lifestyle vlogger, maturity is being able to tell people you call friends the ugliest truth.
Toke Makinwa who shared her experience with friends noted that in the past she condoned friends with bad behaviours until she had a taste of their nasty ways.
In a post shared on her Inst-stories the Nigerian radio personality averred that friendship shouldn’t about only drinking champagne and having good times but learning to tell each other the truth.
In her words,
“Part of growing up is being able to tell your friends the ugliest truth without wavering, I have been the friend tha condoned bad behavior in the past till it was done to me.
“Tell your friends the truth friendship us not only drinking champagne and the good times. friendship is the uncomfortable truth too”.
