BBNaija: Shina Ya Eye housemate, Angel’s dad appears to be exasperated over the derogatory comments being made about his daughter by her fellow housemates in the Big Brother house.
A video made rounds round earlier of housemares, Maria, Peace and Nini gossiping with Angel being the center of their discussion – in course of their jaw-to-jaw movement, Maria is heard saying male housemate, Michael regards Angel as “a prostitute” which is why he doesn’t want to be with her. This comment has caused Angel’s dad who she says is her social media handler to take to her page to react to the nasty comment. Sharing a video to portray his daughter in a light that shows her to be strong-willed and unperturbed of naysayers, he wrote as caption,

For how long are we going to keep addressing, educating and sensitizing on this same issue?
There is nothing new under the sun and this is all we anticipated already but is this really how we want to normalize profiling ? We have been called a slut, ashawo, loose, dirty and all sorts because of how we choose to portray ourselves physically. Judging a person does not define who they are, it defines who you are. Take off your blindfolds and see beyond the appearances. Train yourself to do better as an individual so others around you can tap into that energy. Keep your respectability politics to yourself. At the end of the day, Nothing can break our girl, ko por ke, we moveeee!
