A Nigerian man has caused a stir online after he revealed why he chose to gift his brother a car instead of his wife.
According to @akunesiobike12, a Twitter user who shared the story on the platform, the said man gave one of his brothers an SUV while his pregnant wife hops on buses.
When asked, he reportedly explained that he preferred to give his brother the ride while his wife continued to go through the stress of jumping buses, because she didn’t suffer with him.
He further explained that his siblings were there with him when he was struggling, so they deserved the car more than his wife.
While some Twitter users supported his reasons, others disagreed and chastised him.

There’s no big deal there, he gave who he wants and for the reason best known to him, I will do the same if the marriage is still at the early stage, until I see her commitment to me, our children, and marriage entirely, besides there are many side to it, if the car is with the wife, the responsibility will still be from his pocket, but with his brother, his hands is totally off it.
