Congratulations are in order for former beauty queen, Agbani Darego and her husband, Ishaya Danjuma, as they celebrate their fifth wedding anniversary today, April 8.
The celebrity couple, who officially got married in Marrakesh, Morocco in 2017, have managed to stir off controversy as they appear to be having a blissful marriage.
Agbani, who was crowned Miss World in 2001, took to her Instagram page to share lovely photos with her husband, son of former defense minister, Theophilus Danjuma, to mark their 5-year milestone.
The mother of two boys simply captioned it, “+5”

A while ago, Agbani Darego replied a follower who expressed concern about turning 34 soon and not having a child.
The follower had sought Agbani’s advise on how she managed not to bow to societal pressure to have kids after 35.
“How did you manage not to bow to pressure to have kids after 35? I’m 34 in 3 months”, the follower wrote.
In response, the model advised the follower not to do anything because society demands it of her, but because she wants to. She also disclosed that she has two kids and she had her first at 35 plus.
